SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN NIZAMABAD – VISAKHAPATANAM – NIZAMABAD

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, 34 Weekly Special trains will be run between Nizamabad - Visakhapatnam as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 0866 Nizamabad - Visakhapatanam Weekly Special Train will depart Nizamabad at 18.10 hrs every Wednesday from 8th September 2010 to 29th December 2010 and arrive Visakhapatanam at 10.15 hrs the next day.

In the Opposite direction, Train No. 0865 Visakhapatanam - Nizamabad Weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatanam at 19.30 hrs every Tuesday from  7th September 2010 to 28th December 2010 and arrive Nizamabad at 11.50 hrs the next day.

Enroute, these Special trains will stop at Kamareddi, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudam, Rajahmundry, Samalkot,  Annavaram, Tuni and Duvvada in both the directions. These special trains will have one AC II tier, one AC III tier, Eight Sleeper Class, five General Second Class, One Second Class Luggage cum Brake van for Disabled persons   One   Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coach,  and One Pantry Car totaling to 18 coaches

34 SPECIAL TRAINS BY SCR

In order to  clear the extra rush of Passengers 34 special trains will be run between Kakinada Town and Secunderabad, Narasapur and Nagarsol, Guntur and Secunderabad as per the following:

I. Train No.0700/0701 Kakinada Town - Secunderabad - Kakinada Town special trains (16 services)

Train No. 0700 Kakinada Town-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Kakinada on 3rd, 5th, 10th, 12th, 17th,19th, 24th & 26th September 2010 (Friday & Sunday) at 21.00 hours and arrive Secunderabd at 08.00 hours the next day.In the return direction, Train  No.0701 Secunderabad -" Kakinada Town Special Train will depart Secunderabad on 4th, 8th, 11th,15th ,18th, 22nd, 25th & 29 September 2010  (Saturday & Wednesday) at 23.00 hours and arrive Kakinada at 08.50 hours the next day. Enroute these special trains will stop at Samalkot, Anaparti, Rajahmundry, Nidadavolu, Tadepalligudem, Eluru,  Vijayawada, Madhira, Khammam, Warangal & Kazipet in both the directions. These special trains will have One AC-II tier, One AC-III tier, Ten Sleeper class, Two  General Second Class,  & Two Second class Luggage cum brake Vans totalling to sixteen Coaches in all.

II. Train No. 0727/0728 Narasapur - Nagarsol - Narasapur  Weekly special trains (10 services)
                                                                                                      
Train No. 0727 Narasapur - Nagarsol Weekly Special Train will depart Narasapur on 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th  September 2010 (Wednesday) at 10.45 hours, arrive/ depart Secunderabad at 20.15/20.30 hours and arrive Nagarsol at 09.00 hours the next  day.  In the return direction, Train  No.0728 Nagarsol - Narsapur Weekly Special Train will depart Nagarsol on 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th September 2010  (Thursday) at 11.00 hours, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 23.20/23.40 hours and arrive Narasapur at 10.45 hours the next day. Enroute these Weekly special trains will stop at Palakolu, Veravasaram, Bhimavaram, Bhimavaram Town, Akivedu, Kikaluru, Gudivada, Vijayawada,  Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna & Aurangabad in both the directions.These weekly special trains will have One AC-III tier, Eight Sleeper class, Three  General Second Class,  & Two Second class Luggage cum brake Vans totalling to Fourteen Coaches in all.

III. Train No.0713/0714 Guntur - Secunderabad - Vijayawada  weekly Special trains (8 Services)

Train No. 0713 Guntur - Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will depart Guntur on 5th, 12th, 19th & 26th September 2010 (Sunday) at 21.00 hours and arrive Secunderabad at 04.30 hours the next day. In the return direction, Train  No.0714 Secunderabad - Vijayawada  Weekly Special Train will depart Secunderabad on 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th September 2010 on (Monday) at 05.30 hours and arrive Vijayawada at 11.45 hours the Same day. Enroute the Guntur-Secunderabad Weekly special train will stop at Vijayawada,  Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal & Kazipet. The Secunderabad  - Vijayawada Weekly Special train will stop at Kazipet, Waranagal, Mahabubabad & Khammam. These weekly special trains will have One AC-II tier,  One AC-III tier, Six Sleeper class, Five General Second Class,  & Two Second class Luggage cum brake Vans totalling to Fifteen Coaches in all.

SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN SECUNDERABAD AND TIRUPATHI

To clear the extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will run  eight Super Fast special trains between Secunderabad and Tirupathi as per  the following schedule:

Train No.0723 Secunderabad- Tirupathi Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 18.30 hrs on 30th August,6th ,13th ,20th and 27th September,2010 and arrive Tirupathi at 7.00 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 0724 Tirupathi -Secunderabad Special Train will depart Tirupathi at 17.05 hrs on 31st August, 7th ,14th ,21st  and 28th September 2010 and arrive Secunderabad at 05 50 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Jangoan, Kazipet, Warangal, Kesamudram, Mahabubabad,Khammam, Madhira Vjayawada, Tenali, Chirala, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatgiri, Srikalahasthi and Renigunta in both the directions. These trains will have one AC 3 Tier, one AC 2 Tier, Ten Sleeper Class, Two General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van coaches totaling to 16 coaches.

KONARK AND GURUDEV EXPRESS TO HAVE ONE MORE AC-3 TIER COACH

In view of demands from the passengers and rail users, it has been dicided to augment one AC 03 tier coach permanently in Konark and Gurudev Express with immedieate effect.

Earlier, 1020/1019 Bhubaneswar-Mumbai (CSTM)-Bhubaneswar Konark Express was running with 20 coaches i.e. 01 AC-2 tier, 03 AC-3 tier, 11 Sleeper Class, 02 General Second Class, 02 Guard –cum-Luggage van and 01 Pantry Car in its composition.  After augmentation of one AC-3 tier coach, this train will run with 21 coaches.

Similarly, 2659/2660 Nagercoil-Shalimar-Nagercoil Gurudev Express earlier running with 21 coaches has now run with 22 coaches after permanent augmentation of an AC-3 tier coach in its composition.

PUJA SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN PURI & HOWRAH

In view of the demands from the passengers and to avoid rush in regular trains, Railways have decided to run two pairs of weekly Puja Special trains between Puri & Howrah.

The first pair puja special train 0861/0862 Puri-Howrah-Puri weekly Puja Special will run on every Tuesday from Puri and on every Wednesday from Howrah w.e.f. 7th September to 29th December 2010. 0861 Puri-Howrah Weekly Puja Special will leave Puri at 10.15 p.m and will arrive Howrah at 07.05 a.m on the next day. In the return direction, 0862 Howrah-Puri Weekly Puja Special will leave Howrah at 08.55 p.m and will arrive Puri at 05.55 a.m on the next day.

This train has one AC-2 tier, 02 AC-3 tier, 09 Sleeper Class, 06 General Second Class and 02 Guard-Cum-Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Sakhigopal, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur between Puri and Howrah.

Similarly, the second pair of weekly Puja Special train 0807/0808 Howrah-Puri-Howrah weekly Special will run on every Tuesday from Howrah and on every Wednesday from Puri w.e.f. 12th October 2010 to 5th January 2011. This train will leave Howrah at 09.15p.m and will arrive Puri at 07.45a.m on the next day. In the return direction, this train will leave Puri at 11.35 p.m and will arrive Howrah at 09.00 a.m. on the next day.

This train has 02 AC-2 tiers, 02 AC-3 tier, 10 Sleeper Classes, 02 General Second Class coaches and 02 Guard-Cum-Luggage Vans in its compositon having stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road between Howrah and Puri. 

SCR TO RUN 30 MORE SPECIAL TRAINS

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, South Central Railway will run 30 more special trains between Hyderabad-Ajmer, Hyderabad-Vishakapatnam, Kacheguda- Bangalore &  Machilipatnam-Secunderabad  from 31st August to 27th September, 2010 as per the following schedule:

 1) Train Nos. 0778A / 0779 A Hyderabad-Ajmer-Hyderabad Weekly Special Train (8 services)
 Train No. 0778A Hyderabad-Ajmer Weekly Special Train will depart Hyderbad on 3rd , 10th, 17th, 24th September, 2010 (Fridays) at 21 35 hrs, arrive /depart Secunderabad at 22 00 / 22 05 hrs and arrive Ajmer at 14 30 hrs on the second day (Sunday)
In the return direction, Train No.0779A Ajmer-Hyderabad Weekly special train will depart Ajmer on 5th 12th 19 and 26th September, 2010 (Sundays) at 22 45 hrs  arrive/depart Secunderabad at 13 00 / 13 10 hrs and arrive  Hyderabad at 14 00 hrs on the second day (Tuesdays)
Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, Medchal, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Basar, Dharmabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Manmad, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Sehore, Shujalpur, Berchha, Ujjain, Nagda, Kota, Bundi, Mandalgarh, Chanderia, Bhilwara, Bijaynagar and Nasirabad in both the directions. These trains will have one AC II tier, one AC III tier, ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van totaling to 16 Coaches.

 2) Train Nos. 0748A/0747A Hyderabad-Vishakapatnam-Hyderabad Weekly Special Train (10 Services)

 Train No. 0748A Hyderabad - Vishakapatnam special train will depart Hyderabad on  31st August, 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th September, 2010 at 23 00 hrs, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 23 20 /23 30 hrs and arrive Vishakapatnam at 12 15 hrs on the next day.
In the return direction, Train No.0747A Vishakapatnam-Hyderabad special train will depart Vishakapatnam on 1st, 5th, 12th, 19th,  26th September, 2010 at 19 05 hrs, arrive Secunderabad at 08 15 / 08 25 hrs and arrive Hyderabad at  08 50 hrs on the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadipalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli, Duvvada in both the directions. . These trains will have one AC II tier, one AC III tier, ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to 16 coaches.

 3) Train Nos. 0703/0704 Kacheguda-Bangalore-Kacheguda Weekly Special Train (8 services)

 Train No. 0703 Kacheguda-Bangalore Weekly Special Train will depart Kacheguda on 5th , 12th, 19nd , 26th September 2010 (Sundays) at 21 55 hrs and arrive Bangalore at 11 55 hrs on the next day.
In the return direction, Train No.0704 Bangalore-Kacheguda Weekly Special Train will depart Bangalore on 6th , 13th, 20th , 27th  September, 2010 (Mondays) at 13 05 hrs and arrive Kacheguda at 04 00 hrs on the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Shadnagar, Mahbubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool Town, Dhone, Guntakal, Gooty, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Penukonda, Hindupur, Gauribidannur, Dodballapur, Yelahanka and Bangalore Cantt. in both the directions.   These trains will have two AC II tier, one AC III tier, twelve Sleeper Class, three General Second Class and  two  Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches, totaling to  20 coaches.

4) Train No. 749 Machilipatnam-Secunderabad Weekly Special Train (4 services)

Train No.749 Machilipatnam-Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will depart Machilipatnam on 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th  September, 2010 (Sundays) at 20 30 hrs  and arrive Secunderabad at 04 55 hrs on the next day.
Enroute these specials trains will also stop at Chilakalapudi, Pedana, Kavutaram, Gudlavalleru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Khammam, Mahbubabad, Warangal and Kazipet. These trains will have one AC II tier, one AC III tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches, totaling to 16 coaches.

PASSENGER TRAINS EXTENDED TO PANDHARPUR

Train No. 533 Nizamabad-Parli Passenger has been extended up to Pandharpur with effect from 27th August, 2010. Similarly Train No. 534 Usmanabad-Nizamabad Passenger has been extended to run from Pandharpur with effect from 28th August, 2010. The timings of these trains are as below:

        Train No.533 Nizamabad-Pandharphur Passenger will depart Nizamabad at 13.20 hrs, arrive/depart Parli Vaijnath at 19.50/20.00 hrs and arrive Pandharpur at 05.10 hrs the next day. The train will stop at Ghatnandur, Murti.H, Pangaon, Karepur, Janwal,Wadwal Nagnath, Latur Road, Gharani, Bhatangali, Latur, Harangul, Ausaroad, Neoli, Murud, Palhap, Thair,Dhokai, Kalamb Road, Yedshi, Usmanabad, Pangri, Kuslahi, Barsitown, Uplai, Shendri, Mashigaon, Chinkhill, Kurduwadi Jn, Laul,  Modlimb, Ashti, and Babulgoan stations on the extended portion.
 
      Train No.534 Pandharpur-Nizamabad  Passenger  will depart Pandharpur at 06.00 hrs, arrive/depart Usmanabad at 10.05/10.10 hrs and arrive Nizamabad at 23.05 hrs on the same day. The train will stop at Babulgoan, Ashti , Modlimb, Laul,  Kurduwadi Jn, Chinkhill, Mashigaon, Shendri, Uplai,  Barsitown,  Kuslahi and Pangri stations on the extended portion.

Further, Train No 531B Usmanabad-Parli Vaijnath Passenger is introduced with effect from 28th August, 2010. Accordingly, the train will depart Usmanabad at 14.00 hrs and arrive Parli Vaijnath at 19.20 hrs. The train will stop at Yedshi , Kalamb Road, Dhokai, Thair, Palhap , Murud , Neoli, Ausaroad , Harangul , Latur , Bhatangali , Gharani, Latur Road , Wadwal Nagnath, Janwal, Karepur, Pangaon, Murti.H and  Ghatnandur stations.

 Consequently, timings of Train No.PP-2 Parli-Purna Passenger Special are revised with effect from 28th August, 2010. Train No PP-2 Parli- Purna Passenger Special will depart Parli Vaijnath at 19.55 hrs and arrive Purna Jn at 22.50 hrs.

SHEDULE OF MOBILE TICKETING VAN MUSHKIL ASSAN IN DELHI

For the convenience of rail passengers, the schedule of mobile ticketing van Mushkil Assan has been revised. This will be effective from 30.08.2010 as per the following programme:

Mushkil assan van will be providing its services at :-

1.    Chittranjan Park (Near DDA Market No. 4) on Monday

2.    Vasant Kunj (Near the four square Mall) on Tuesday.

3.    Dwarka (Near Sector -10 Metro station towards Dwarak Courts) on Wednesday

4.    Tilak Nagar  (Near Janakpuri Metro station) on Thursday

5.    Malviaya Nagar ( Near Malviaya Nagar Bus terminal roundabout ) on Friday


6.    Rohini (Near Rithala Metro Station) On Saturday.

EXTENSION OF DURATION OF SPECIAL TRAINS

The Weekly Special trains No. 0691 Bangalore – Nagercoil Special and T.No.0692 Nagercoil – Bangalore Special have now been extended to run for a further period from 2.9.2010 to 25.9.2010.

For the convenience of passengers, and to clear the rush, it has been decided to extend the trips of Train No. 0229/0230 Jaipur-Pune Weekly Superfast  Special train.

Train No. 0230 Jaipur - Pune  Weekly superfast special train will depart from Jaipur on 28th August & 4th September, 2010 at 09.00 hrs to reach Pune at 08.05 hrs the next day with a halt at Vasai Road at 04.10 hrs. Similarly, Train No. 0229 Pune - Jaipur Weekly superfast special train will leave Pune on 29th August & 5th September, 2010 at 15.20 hrs to reach Jaipur at 13.40 hrs, the next day with a halt at Vasai Road at 19.50 hrs. Enroute the train halts at Durgapura, Bansthali Niwai, Sawai Madhopur, Kota, Ramganjmandi, Nagda, Ratlam, Dahod, Godhra, Vadodara, Surat, Vapi, Vasai Road, Bhiwandi, Kalyan, Karjat and Lonavala stations in both the directions.

 The above trains will have AC II tier, AC III tier, sleeper class   and II class general coaches.

RAMZAN SPECIAL TRAINS

Southern Railway will run the following special trains to clear the extra rush of traffic during Ramzan.

1)      Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil – Chennai Egmore Specials: T.No.0617 Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 20.20 hrs. on 9.9.2010 and 11.9.2010 and arrive Nagercoil at 11.00 hrs. the next day. T.No.0618 Nagercoil – Chennai Egmore Special will leave Nagercoil at 13.30 hrs. on 10.9.2010 and 12.9.2010 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 04.25 hrs. the next day.  The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Kodaikanal Road, Madurai, Virudunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Tirunelveli and Valliyur. T.No.0618 will stop at Mambalam also.

2)      Chennai Central – Nagercoil Superfast Special & Nagercoil – Chennai  Central Special (via. Erode, Karur, Dindigul): T.No.0603 Chennai Central – Nagercoil Superfast Special will leave Chennai Central at 23.30 hrs. on 8.9.2010 and arrive Nagercoil at 14.00 hrs. the next day. T.No.0604 Nagercoil – Chennai Central Special will leave Nagercoil at 16.15 hrs. on 9.9.2010 and arrive Chennai Central at 08.15 hrs. the next day. The composition of the trains will be 3 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Tirunelveli and Valliyur.  T.No.0604 will stop at Perambur also.

3)      Chennai Central – Mangalore Central – Chennai  Central Special: T.No.0631 Chennai Central – Mangalore Special will leave Chennai Central at 20.35 hrs. on 8.9.2010 and arrive Mangalore Central at 13.30 hrs. the next day. T.No.0632 Mangalore – Chennai Central Special will leave Mangalore Central at 17.25 hrs. on 9.9.2010 and arrive Chennai Central at 10.00 hrs. the next day.  The composition of the trains will be  1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Palakkad, Shoranur, Kuttipuram, Tirur, Kozhikkode, Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhangad and Kasaragod. T.No.0631 will stop at Coimbatore also. T.No.0632 will stop at Podanur & Perambur also.

4)      Chennai Central – Mangalore Central – Chennai  Central Specials (via. Coimbatore)  T.No.0631 Chennai Central – Mangalore Special will leave Chennai Central at 20.35 hrs. on 10.9.2010 and arrive Mangalore Central at 13.30 hrs. the next day. T.No.0640 Mangalore – Chennai Central Special will leave Mangalore Central at 14.15 hrs. on 12.9.2010 and arrive Chennai Central at 07.45 hrs. the next day. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class and        2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. Chennai Egmore, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam): T.No.0601 Chennai Central – Tirunelveli Special will leave Chennai Central at 19.30 hrs. on 8.9.2010 and arrive Tirunelveli at 09.35 hrs. the next day. T.No.0602 Tirunelveli – Chennai Central Special will leave Tirunelveli at 14.55 hrs. on 9.9.2010 and arrive Chennai Central at 05.00 hrs. the next day.  The composition of the trains will be 13 AC 3-tier coaches. The trains will stop at Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul,Kodaikanal Road, Madurai, Virudunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti and Vanchi Maniyachchi.  T.No.0602 will stop at Mambalam also.

6)      Nagercoil – Chennai Egmore Superfast Special & Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil Special: T.No.0606 Nagercoil – Chennai Egmore Superfast Special will leave Nagercoil at 17.00 hrs. on 12.9.2010 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 06.05 hrs. the next day. T.No.0605 Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 14.40 hrs. on 13.9.2010 and arrive Nagercoil at 05.35 hrs. the next day. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Valliyur, Tirunelveli, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram, Chengalpattu and Tambaram.  T.No.0606 will stop at Mambalam also. T.No.0605 will stop at Ariyalur also.

Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on 27.8.2010.

TEMPORARY SHIFTING OF INTERNATIONAL TOURIST BUREAU

Due to renovation works  at the New Delhi station, the functioning of the International Tourist Bureau  for information/ booking/issuance of tickets to Foreign Tourist & NRIs  has been shifted with immediate effect to Retiring Room nos. 122 & 123 on the first floor of New Delhi Station building. This make-shift arrangement of operation of International Tourist Bureau from retiring room will work till 25th September 2010

Introduction of Dadar-Sainagar Shirdi Superfast Express

Railways will introduce a new Superfast tri-weekly train between Dadar and Sainagar Shirdi from 27.8.2010. Train No.2131 Dadar-Sainagar Shirdi Express will leave Dadar at 21.45 hrs every Mon, Wed and Sat from 28.8.2010 and will arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 03.55 hrs next day. Train No.2132 Sainagar Shirdi-Dadar Express will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 10.00 hrs every Tue, Thu and Sun from 29.8.2010 and will arrive Dadar at 16.05 hrs same day.

Halts: Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Kopergaon stations.

Composition: one AC-2 Tier, one AC-3 Tier, 8 sleeper class, 6 general second class, two general second class cum guard’s brake van.

Note: Inaugural Special Train no.2132-A will be flagged off from Sainagar Shirdi on 27.8.2010 at around 10.00 am

TRAINS EXTENDED TO RUN UP TO SAINAGAR SHIRDI

As already announced in the Railway Time Table July 2010, the following four pairs of Express Trains running up to Manmad are extended  to run up to Sainagar Shirdi from the dates mentioned.

1.      No.7002/7001 Secunderabad - Manmad - Secunderabad Express.

Train No.7002 Secunderabad - Sainagar Shirdi Express leaving Secunderabad from 27th August 2010 will arrive/depart Manmad at 07.30/07.35 hrs. and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 09.15 hrs.

In the opposite direction, Train No.7001 Sainagar Shirdi   "Secunderabad Express leaving Sainagar Shirdi from 28th August 2010 will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 17.10 hrs. and arrive/depart Manmad at 18.55/19.00 hrs.


2.      Train No.1406/1405 Kakinada Town - Manmad  - Kakinada Town Express

Train No.1406 Kakinada Town - Sainagar Shirdi Express leaving Kakinada Town from 28th August 2010 will arrive/depart Manmad at 07.30/07.35 hrs. and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 09.15 hrs.

In the opposite direction, Train No.1405 Sainagar Shirdi - Kakinada Town Express leaving Sainagar Shirdi from 29th August 2010 will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 17.10 hrs. and arrive/depart Manmad at 18.55/19.00 hrs.

3.      Train No.7206/7205 Kakinada Town - Manmad - Kakinada Town Express

Train No.7206 Kakinada Town - Sainagar Shirdi Express leaving Kakinada Town from 30th August 2010 will arrive/depart Manmad at 07.30/07.35 hrs. and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 09.15 hrs.

In the opposite direction, Train No.7205 Sainagar Shirdi - Kakinada Town Express leaving Sainagar Shirdi from 31st August 2010 will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 17.10 hrs. and arrive/depart Manmad at 18.55/19.00 hrs.

4.      Train No.7208/7207 Vijayawada - Manmad - Vijayawada Express

Train No.7208 Vijayawada - Sainagar Shirdi Express leaving Vijayawada from 31th August 2010 will arrive/depart Manmad at 07.30/07.35 hrs. and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 09.15 hrs.

In the opposite direction, Train No.7207 Sainagar Shirdi - Kakinada Town Express leaving Sainagar Shirdi from 1st September 2010 will depart Sainagar Shirdi at 17.10 hrs. and arrive/depart Manmad at 18.55/19.00 hrs.

Special Trains

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will run  special trains between Aurangabad-Kollam & Vijayawada-Kollam as per the following schedule:

1) Aurangabad - Kollam Special Trains

Train No. 766-C Aurangabad - Kollam Special Train will depart Aurangabad at 05 00 hrs on 25th August, 2010 and arrive Kollam at 23 45 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 765-C Kollam-Aurangabad Special Train will depart Kollam at 02 15 hrs on 30th August, 2010 and arrive Aurangabad at 20 00 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these Special trains will stop at Jalna, Selu, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudkhed, Dharmabad, Basar, Nizamabad, Kamareddi, Medchal, Bolarum, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Dornakal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasti, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam in both the directions. Train No. 730-B Vijayawada-Kollam Special Train will depart Vijayawada at 23 00 hrs on 28th August, 2010 and arrive Kollam at 23 45 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 729-B Kollam-Vijayawada Special Train will depart Kollam at 02 15 hrs on 27th August, 2010 and arrive Vijayawada at 02 30 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Guntur, Tenali, Nidubrolu, Bapatla, Chirala, Ongole, Kavali, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasti, Renigunta, Tirupati, Chittoor, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam in both the directions. SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN HOWRAH-CHENNAI CENTRAL

Southern Railway will run the following special trains to clear extra rush of passengers.

Howrah – Chennai Central - Howrah Specials: Train No. 0841 Howrah-Chennai Central  Special will leave Howrah  at 16.10 hrs. on Wednesdays from 06.10.2010 to 05.01.2011 and arrive Chennai Central at 19.45 hrs. the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 0842 Chennai Central-Howrah Special will leave Chennai Central at 15.00 hrs. on Fridays from 08.10.2010 to 07.01.2011 and arrive Howrah  at 19.05 hrs. the next day. The trains will stop at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhandrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahamapur, Vizianagaram Jn., Visakapattinam, Anakapalli, Tuni, Samalkkot Jn., Rajamundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Ongole and Nellore. Train No. 0842 will stop at Gudur also. The composition of the train will be 2 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class, 1Pantry Car  and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

WR AUGMENTS FOURTEEN 9 CAR SERVICES TO 12 CAR SERVICES

For comfort & convenience of commuters, Western Railway converted Fourteen 9 car services to 12 car services from 15ht August, 2010. This will increase the carrying capacity of these trains by 33 per cent and also the commuter comfort. Out of these 14 services converted from 9 to 12 car, 06 services are between Borivali and Churchgate, 5 services between Andheri and Churchgate and One service each between Borivali & Bandra, Mahalaxmi & Borivali and Churchgate & Mumbai Central.

Since January, 2009, Western Railway has augmented 117 nine car services to 12 car. The number of 12 car services has gone up to 766 which is 63 per cent of the total services of 1210 trains every day which also includes 12 fifteen car services.

SPECIAL WEEKLY UNRESERVED TRAIN BETWEEN GORAKHPUR & LOKMANYA TILAK(TERMINUS)

In order to clear extra rush of rail passengers , Railways  has  decided to run  one pair of  special Weekly Superfast train no 0511/0512 fully unreserved between  Gorakhpur & Lokmanya Tilak(Terminus) as per the programme:
               The  0511 Gorakhpur - Lokmanya Tilak (Terminus) special Weekly Superfast train will depart from Gorakhpur on every Sunday  i.e on  15/8, 22/8, 29/8, 5/9, 12/9, 19/9, 26/9, 3/10, 10/10, 17/10, 24/10 & 31.10. 10 ( 12 trips) at 9.30 p.m to reach Lokmanya Tilak (Terminus)  at 4.00 a.m the third day. While in the return direction the 0512 Lokmanya Tilak(Terminus)-Gorakhpur   special Weekly Superfast train will depart from Lokmanya Tilak(Terminus)on every Tuesday i.e on  17/8, 24/8, 31/8, 7/9, 14/9, 21/9, 28/9, 5/10, 12/10, 19/10, 26/10 & 2.11.10 ( 12 trips) at 11.10 a.m   to reach Gorakhpur at  5.45 p.m the next day.
                The 0511/0512 special Weekly Superfast  fully unreserved  train  consisting of   Sixteen General class & Two Second cum Luggage and Brake van coaches,  will stop at   Basti, Gonda, Lucknow Jn., Kanpur Central, Orai, Jhansi, Bhopal, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusawal & Igatpuri stations enroute in both the directions.

SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN HYDERABAD-HOWRAH

South Central Railway will run Sixteen (16) Weekly Special trains during the Durga Pooja and Winter Season to clear the extra rush of traffic. Accordingly, these Special trains will depart Hyderabad at 21.50 hrs.on Mondays commencing from 4th Oct,2010  and will depart from Howrah at 15.25 hrs. on Wednesdays, commencing from 6th Oct., 2010.

Train No. 0746 Hyderabad-Howrah Weekly Special train will depart Hyderabad on Mondays at 21.50 hrs. & arrive/depart Secunderabad at 22.10/22.15 hrs. on 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th October, 2010 & on 1st, 8th, 15th & 22nd November, 2010  and arrive Howrah at 03.20 hrs. the next day.

In the Return direction Train No. 0745 Howrah-Hyderabad Weekly Special train will depart Howrah on Wednesdays at 15.25 hrs on 6th, 13th, 20th & 27th  October, 2010 and on 3rd, 10th, 17th & 24th November, 2010 . & arrive/depart Secunderabad at 19.30/19.40 hrs.and arrive Hyderabad at 20.30 hrs. the next day.

Enroute, these Weekly Special trains will  stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot Jn., Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalle, Visakapatnam, Vizianagaram, Palasa, Brahmapur, Balu, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpurkeonjghar Road, Bhadrak, Balasor and Kharagpur in both the directions.

Southern Railway will run the following special trains to clear extra rush of passengers.

Chennai Central – Secunderabad – Chennai Central Weekly Specials: Train No. 0611 Chennai Central – Secunderabad Weekly Special will leave Chennai Central  at 21.10 hrs. on Wednesdays from 18.08.10 to 27.10.10 (except 8.9.10 & 13.10.10) and arrive Secunderabad at 09.45 hrs. the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 0612 Secunderabad – Chennai Central Weekly Special will leave Secunderabad at 21.00 hrs. on Thursdays from 19.08.10 to 28.10.10 (except 9.9.10 & 14.10.10) and arrive Chennai Central  at 10.30 hrs. the next day. The trains will stop at Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Tenali, Vijayawada, Madhira, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet. The composition of the trains will be 13 AC 3-tier coaches.

SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN

In order to clear extra summer rush of rail passengers, Northern Railway has decided to run one trip of 0432 Hazrat Nizamuddin- Trivendrum Super fast Special train as per the programme:-

 The 0432 Hazrat Nizamuddin- Trivendrum Super fast Special train will run from Hazrat Nizamuddin on 18.8.10 at 9.35 p.m. to arrive at Trivendrum on 20.8.10 at 11.55 pm on third day. Consisting of One A.C 2 Tier cum A.C 3 Tier coach and Thirteen Second Class Sleeper coaches besides Two Luggage Vans, the 0432 Hazrat Nizamuddin- Trivendrum Super fast Special train will stop at  Mathura Jn., Kota, Ratlam, Vadodara, Surat, Vasai Road, Panvel, Ratnagiri, Madgaon, Udupi, Mangalore Jn, Kasaragod,  Kannur, Thalassery, Kozhikkode,  Tirur, Shoranur, Thrisur, Aluva, Eranakulam, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam, Kollam stations enroute.

TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF RAIL MOVEMENT DUE TO INDEPENDENCE DAY CELEBRATION

Due to   Independence Day Ceremony -2010  at Red Fort on 15.8.2010, the train movement  between Delhi Jn. and Delhi Shahdara  will remain temporarily suspended  for Two and-half  hours  from 6.00 a.m. to 8.30 a.m. As a result the following trains will be diverted/regulated/ cancelled on 15.8.10  as under:-

TRAINS CANCELLED ON 15.8.10

The GND-1/GD -2 Ghaziabad-New Delhi-Delhi-Ghaziabad EMU train  will remain cancelled on 15.8.2010.
The 1SD/10SD Shamli Delhi passenger trains will  remain cancelled on 15.8.2010.

TRAINS TO BE REGULATED ON 15.8.10

The 4084  Delhi Jn. Alipurduar  Sikkim Mahananda Express train  scheduled for departure at 6.40 a.m from Delhi Jn. will be regulated at Delhi Jn. till clearance.
The 2312  Kalka Howrah  Mail & 5610  Lalgarh Guwahati Avadh Assam Express  trains will be regulated at Delhi Jn. till clearance.
The 4055Dibrugarh Delhi Jn. Bramhputra Mail will be regulated  on North Central Railway, if required.
The 2225 Azamgarh-Delhi Kaifiyat Express train will be regulated at Delhi Shahdara Jn. till clearance.
The 4207 Pratapgarh Delhi Jn. Padmavat Express train  will be regulated on Moradabad- Ghaziabad section.
The 4042Dehradun Delhi Sarai Rohilla  Mussorie Express  train will be  regulated at Sahibabad.
The 4SD  Shamli Delhi passenger train will depart from Shamli at 4.30 a.m instead of 3.15 a.m as scheduled.
The 2-SSD Saharanpur-Shamli- Delhi Passenger will be regulated between Noli and Delhi Shahdara.
The DKSJ Khurja Delhi Jn. Shakurbasti EMU train will be regulated  at Delhi Shahdara Jn.

TRAIN TO BE DIVERTED ON 15.8.10

The 4044 Delhi-Kotdwar Garhwal Express train will be diverted to run via New Delhi, Tilak Bridge-Sahibabad and will remain partially cancelled  between  Delhi Jn.  & Delhi Shahdara Jn

SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN SECUNDERABAD AND KAKINADA TOWN

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will run six special trains between Secunderabad and Kakinada Town as per the following schedule:

 Train No.700 Secunderabad - Kakinada Town Weekly Special Train will depart Secunderabad on  13th, 20th, 27th August 2010 (Fridays) at 23 00 hrs and arrive Kakinada Town at 08 50 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 701 Kakinada Town-Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will depart Kakinada Town on 14th, 21st, 28th August 2010 (Saturdays) at 21 00 hrs and arrive Secuderabad at 08 00 hrs on the next day. Enroute, these trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Anaparti and  Samalkot in both the directions. These trains  will  have 15 Coaches comprising of one AC II tier, one AC III tier, ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and  two  Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

 These specials are in addition to the Special trains announced to run from Secunderabad to Kakinada Town on 2nd, 9th and 16th August 2010 (Mondays) and in the return direction from Kakinada Town to Secunderabad on  1st, 8th and 15th August 2010 (Sundays).

SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN NARSAPUR-NAGARSOL AND SECUNDERABAD-KAKINADA

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, South Central Railway will run  Special Trains between Narsapur-Nagarsol and Secunderabad-Kakinada as per the following schedule:

1) Narsapur - Nagarsol - Narsapur Weekly Special Trains (4 services)

 Train No. 0727 Narsapur-Nagarsol Weekly Special train will depart Narsapur on 18th and 25th August, 2010 (Wednesdays)   at  10 45 hrs and arrive Nagarsol at 09 00 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 0728 Nagarsol - Narsapur Weekly Special train will depart Nagarsol on 19th and 26th August 2010 (Thursdays) at 11 00 hrs and arrive at Narsapur at 10 45 hrs on the next day. Enroute, these trains will stop at Palakolu, Veravasaram, Bhimavaram, Bhimavaram Town, Akiveedu, Kaikaluru, Gudivada, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna and Aurangabad in both the directions. These trains will have 15 Coaches comprising of one AC two tier, one AC three tier, eight Sleeper Class, three General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

Train No. 0727 Narsapur - Nagarsol Weekly Special train will arrive/depart Secunderabad at 20.15/20.35 hrs. In the return direction Train No. 0728 Nagarsol - Narsapur Weekly Special train will arrive/depart Secunderabad at 23.20/23.40 hrs

2) Secunderabad - Kakinada Town-Secunderabad Weekly Special trains (4 services)

Train No.0701 Secunderabad-Kakinada Town Weekly Special Train will depart Secunderabad on  23rd  and 30th August, 2010 (Mondays) at 23 00 hrs and arrive Kakinada Town at 08 50 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 0700 Kakinada Town - Secunderabad Weekly Special Train will depart Kakinada Town on 22nd and 29th August, 2010 (Sundays) at 21 00 hrs and arrive Secunderabad at 08 00 hrs on the next day. Enroute, these trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Anaparti and  Samalkot in both the directions. The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of passengers.
1)     Chennai Central – Nagercoil Superfast Special (via. Erode, Ernakulam & Alappuzha):  T. No. 0615 Chennai Central - Nagercoil Special will leave Chennai Central at 23.05 hrs. on 20.08.2010  and arrive Nagercoil at 16.05 hrs. the next day.  The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The train will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Podanur, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Jn., Cherthala, Alappuzha, Ambalapuzha, Haripad, Kayankulam, Kollam, Trivandrum, Neyyatinkara, Kulitturai and Eraniel.

2)     Chennai Central - Nagercoil Special (via. Erode, Karur, Dindigul and Madurai):   T. No. 0623 Chennai Central - Nagercoil Special will leave Chennai Central at 22.30 hrs. on 27.08.2010  and arrive Nagercoil at 14.00 hrs. the next day.  The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The train will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Karur, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Tirunelveli and Valliyur.

3)     Nagercoil – Chennai Central Special (via. Madurai, Dindigul, Karur and Erode):   T. No. 0624 Nagercoil - Chennai Central Special will leave Nagercoil at 12.45 hrs. on 22.08.2010  & 29.08.2010 (Sundays) and arrive Chennai Central at 03.45 hrs. the next day.  The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The train will stop at Valliyur, Tirunelveli, Vanchi Maniyachchi, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.
