Secunderabad-Manchiryal Special Train Extended

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will extend the run of  Secunderabad-Manchiryal Special Train will continue to run up to 31st March 2011 as per the schedule below:

Train No.0752 Secunderabad-Manchiryal Special Train will depart Secunderabad on all days of the week except on Saturdays at 05 30 hrs and arrive Manchiryal at 09.35 hrs on the same day. In the return direction Train No.0751 Manchiryal-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Manchiryal on all days of the week except on Saturdays at 10 30 hrs and arrive Secunderabad at 14 30 hrs on the same day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Bhongir, Aler, Jangaon, Kazipet, Uppal, Jammikunta, Potkapalli, Odela, Kolnur, Peddapalli and Ramagundam in both the directions. These trains will have ten General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to twelve Coaches.

04043/04044 Delhi Ratangarh Daily Special Express extended

For the convenience of the passengers, the 04043 Delhi Ratangarh Daily Special Train scheduled to run upto 30.12.2010, now  has been extended to run upto 15.01.2011. The 04044 Ratangarh -Delhi Daily Special Train will depart from Ratangarh station at 4.00 p.m. to reach Delhi at 10.00 p.m. the same day while the 04043 Delhi-Ratangarh special train will depart from Delhi Jn. at 04.50 a.m. to arrive at Ratangarh at 11.00 a.m. the same day. The 04043/04044 Delhi-Ratangarh-Delhi Daily special train will halt at Churu, Sadulpur, Loharu, Mahendergarh, Rewari, Gurgaon, Delhi Cantt. and Delhi Sarai Rohilla stations  enroute in both the directions.

WR to run Special Train between Ahmedabad - Mumbai Central

To cater to the passengers and to clear the rush, it has been decided to run one special train between Ahmedabad - Mumbai Central - Ahmedabad.

Train No. 09450 Ahmedabad - Mumbai Central Special train will depart at 21.40 hrs on 1st January, 2011 from Ahmedabad and arrive Mumbai Central the next day at 6.05 hrs.
Similarly, Train No. 09449 Mumbai Central - Ahmedabad Special train will depart at 06.30 hrs from Mumbai Central on 2nd January, 2011 and reach Ahmedabad the same day at 13.45 hrs.The train will halt at Vadodara, Surat and Borivali stations in both directions.The train will have AC III tier, sleeper class and General II class coaches.

The booking of this train will start from 08.00 hrs on 1st January, 2011.

WR introduces helpline number 10721

Due to Gurjar agitation at various places in Rajasthan, various long distance trains departing on 30/12/2010 have been rescheduled/ diverted/ Cancelled / Partially cancelled. Trains from Mumbai towards Delhi and Northern India are being run on diverted routes.

Trains such as Rajdhani Exp, August Kranti Rajdhani Express, Golden Temple Mail, Swaraj Express, Paschim Express, Firozpur Janta Express, etc are being run via diverted routes and consequently reaching their destination by 6-8 hours late.

However all trains for Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh are unaffected by the agitation and are running as per their scheduled time. Western Railway has started a temporary helpline number 10721 specially to provide information regarding long distance trains.
