SPECIAL TRAINS FROM VELANKANNI TO CHENNAI AND VASCO-DA-GAMA


The following special trains will be run from Velankanni to Chennai and Vasco-da-Gama to clear the extra rush of passengers during Velankanni festival.

1)T.No.06059/06060 Chennai Egmore – Velankanni – Chennai Egmore Specials: T.No.06059 Chennai Egmore – Velankanni Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 22.45 hrs. on 27.8.12 & 3.9.12 and arrive Velankanni at 06.30 hrs. the next day.T.No.06060 Velankanni – Chennai Egmore Special will leave Velankanni at 23.15 hrs. on 28.8.12 & 4.9.12 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 07.20 hrs. the next day.The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 3-tier, 5 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tiruppadiripuliyur, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam. T.No.06060 will stop at Mambalam also.

2)T.No.06061/06062 Chennai Egmore – Velankanni – Chennai Egmore Specials: T.No.06061 Chennai Egmore – Velankanni Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 22.45 hrs. on 30.8.12 and arrive Velankanni at 06.30 hrs. the next day.T.No.06062 Velankanni – Chennai Egmore Special will leave Velankanni at 23.15 hrs. on 31.8.12 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 07.20 hrs. the next day.The composition of the trains will be 3 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS


In order to clear extra rush of passengers, Railways have decided to augment the following trains as per the following programme:-
Temporary Augmentation of Trains:-
The 15011/15012 Lucknow- Chandigarh- Lucknow Express train will be augmented by One Additional Sleeper class coach from 01.08.2012 to 30.11.2012 when departing from Lucknow and from 02.08.2012 to 01.12.2012 when departing from Chandigarh.
The 25013/25014 Ramnagar- Delhi Jn.- Ramnagar Corbett Park Link Express train will be augmented by One Additional A.C. 2 Tier cum A.C. 3 Tier coach from 01.08.2012 to 30.09.2012 when departingfrom Ramnagar and from 02.08.2012 to 01.10.2012 when departing from Delhi Jn..
Permanent Augmentation of Trains:-
The 12953/12954 Mumbai Central- Hazrat Nizamuddin- Mumbai Central August Kranti Rajdhani Express will be augmented by One Additional AC 3 tier coach from 01.08.2012 when departing from Mumbai Central and from 02.08.2012 when departing from Hazrat Nizamuddin. The revised composition of the train comprises 18 coaches.
The 12919/12920 Indore- Jammu Tawi- Indore Malwa Express will be augmented by One Additional AC 3 tier & One Additional Sleeper Class coaches from 01.08.2012 when departing from Indore and from 03.08.2012 when departing from Jammu Tawi. The revised composition of the train comprises 21 coaches.
The 19023/19024 Mumbai Central- Firozpur- Mumbai Central Express will be augmented by One Additional Sleeper Class coach from 01.08.2012 when departing from Mumbai Central and from 03.08.2012 when departing from Firozpur. The revised composition of the train comprises 15 coaches.
The 19051/19052 Valsad- Sonepur- Valsad Shramik Express will be augmented by One Additional Sleeper Class coach from 04.08.2012 when departing from Valsad and from 06.08.2012 when departing from Sonepur. The revised composition of the train comprises 21 coaches.

Special Trains for Velankanni Festival


Central Railway will run 6 Specials between Mumbai - Velankanni to clear the extra rush of Passengers during Velankanni Festival. The details are as under -

(A) LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS-VELANKANNI-LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS SPECIAL TRAINS -

1. Train No. 01041 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.20 hrs o­n 25.8.2012 and will reach Velankanni at 21.45 hrs next day.

Train No. 01042 Special will leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs o­n 27.8.2012 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10.15 hrs o­n third day.

2. Train No. 01043 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.20 hrs o­n 26.8.2012 and will reach Velankanni at 21.45 hrs next day.

Train No. 01044 Special will leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs o­n 28.8.2012 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10.15 hrs o­n third day.

Composition:       o­ne AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, 12 sleeper class, 2 General Second class and 2 General second class cum guard's brake vans.

(B) DADAR (T) - VELANKANNI - DADAR (T) SPECIAL TRAINS -

3. Train No. 01045 Special will leave Dadar (T) at 11.15 hrs o­n 27.8.2012 and will reach Velankanni at 21.45 hrs next day.

Train No. 01046 Special will leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs o­n 29.8.2012 and will arrive Dadar (T) at 10.00 hrs o­n third day.

Composition:       o­ne AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, 12 sleeper class, 5 General Second class and 2 General second class cum guard's brake vans.

ASANSOL-CHENNAI WEEKLY SUPER FAST EXPRESS TO BE INTRODUCED


As announced in last Railway Budget for running of a weekly super fast express train to Chennai Central from Asansol and to provide better facilities to the commuters, Railways have decided to introduce a new train between Asansol & Chennai Centralw.e.f. from 28th July 2012 from Asansol & w.e.f. 30th July 2012 from Chennai Central.

On the inaugural run, Asansol-Chennai Central-Asansol weekly Express will be inaugurated from Asansol and will run as a special train o­n open fast timings towards Chennai Central. However, the regular service of 12376/12375 Asansol-Chennai Central-Asansol weekly Super Fast Express will commence from Asansol w.e.f. 1st August’12 & from Chennai Central w.e.f. 4thAugust’2012.

12376 Asansol-Chennai Central weekly Super Fast Express will leave Asansol o­n every Wednesday at 10.00hrs and will arrive at Chennai Central at 22.45hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, 12375 Chennai Central-Asansolweekly Super Fast Express will leave Chennai Central o­n every Saturday at 14.35hrs and will arrive at Asansol at 21.55hrs o­n the next day.

          This train has o­ne AC-2 tier, 02 AC-3 tiers, 07 Sleeper Classes, 06 General Second ClassCoaches and 02 Guard cum Luggage Vansin its composition having stoppage at Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Balangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Bobbili, Vizianagaram and Visakhapatnam in East Coast Railway jurisdiction between Asansol & Chennai Central.

HOWRAH-KORAPUT SAMALESWARI EXPRESS TO BE EXTENDED TO JAGADALPUR


 With an aim to provide more passengers comfort to the commuters, Railways have decided to extend 18005/18006 Howrah-Koraput-Howrah Samaleswari Express to Jagadalpur w.e.f. 30th July 2012.

On the day of extension, 18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express will be rescheduled to leave Jagadalpur at 08.00hrs instead of its scheduled time at 04.15hrs from Jagadalpur for inaugural journey of the extended portion.

          18005 Howrah-Jagadalpur Samaleswari Express arriving Koraput at 20.05hrs will leave at 20.30hrs, Jeypore at 21.44hrs and will arrive at Jagadalpur at 23.30hrs. In the return direction, 18006 Jagadalpur-Howrah Samaleswari Express will leave Jagadalpur at 04.15hrs, Jeypore at 05.22hrs and will arrive Koraput 06.35hrs.

SPECIAL EXPRESS TRAIN BETWEEN LUCKNOW- DELHI JN. FOR ‘RAKSHA BANDHAN’


In order to clear extra rush of passengers during ‘Raksha Bandhan’, Northern Railway has decided to run one trip of special train no. 04201/04202 Lucknow- Delhi Jn.- Lucknow Express as per the following programme:-

The 04201 Lucknow- Delhi Jn. Express special train will depart from Lucknow at 09.15 p.m. on 05.08.2012 ( 01 trip) to reach Delhi Jn. at 06.25 a.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 04202 Delhi Jn.- Lucknow Express train will depart from Delhi Jn. at 09.15 a.m. on 06.08.2012 ( 01 trip) to reach Lucknow at 06.15 p.m. the same day.

Consisting of One A.C. 2 Tier, Two A.C. 3 Tier, Ten Sleeper Class, Five General Class and Two Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches, the 04201/04202 Lucknow- Delhi Jn.- Lucknow Express special train will stop atBareilly, Moradabad & Ghaziabad stations enroute in both the directions.

1st class tourist ticket fares up from Aug 1


Commuters who wish to travel by the first class on purchase of tourist tickets will have to pay higher fare from August 1.

The new tariff was approved by the railway board on July 24.
   
Under the tourist ticket scheme, passengers can travel unlimited times during its validity from any station on the suburban sections of Central and Western Railway. A senior railway official said the fare for tourist ticket for first class was Rs 170 (1 day), Rs 330 (3 days) and Rs 390 (5 days).
   
According to the new chart, the fare will be now be Rs 210 (for 1 day), Rs 365 (3 days) and Rs 430 (5 days). However, there will be no change in the tariff of second class tourist tickets.
   
Sources said the railways sold at least 2,000 first class passes in the categories while 1,100 tourists bought those for second-class. These tickets are issued maximum 3 days in advance, excluding the first day of validity. No refund is admissible on unused/partially used tourist tickets. But tourist tickets booked in advance can be cancelled before the day of validity on which charges of Rs 10 for second class and Rs 20 for first class per passenger will be deducted.

Tirupati - Mannargudi Tri-weekly Express Named as PAMANI EXPRESS


Indian Railways has agreed to name Train No. 17407 / 17408 Tirupati-Mannargudi-Tirupati Tri-Weekly Express as PAMANI EXPRESS.

Hence, this train will henceforth be called as Tirupati-Mannargudi-Tirupati Tri-Weekly Pamani Express.

CERTAIN CHANGES REGARDING TIMINGS ON RESERVATION TICKETS TO BE CARRIED OUT W.E.F. 04/11/2012


The new railway timetable has been implemented w.e.f 1st July 2012. The timings of the following trains have been changed from starting station as below:-

Train No 12962, Avantika Exp Ex Indore to Mumbai Central will now arrive Vadodara at 23:45 hrs and depart at 23:55 hrs as against its earlier time of arrival 23:50 hrs and dep. 00:15 hrs.
In case of Train No.19019 Dehradun Exp & 19151 Gandhidham Exp, the timings at intermediate stations has been changed, but the exact timings of starting stations will be changed on the tickets w.e.f4.11.12, so as to avoid confusion in the minds of passengers regarding date of journey. Timing of Train No. 12962 for Vadodara will also be changed as per new timetable w.e.f4/11/12 on the tickets. These changes in the timings printed on the tickets can only be effected from 4/11/12 as the passengers have already booked their tickets in these train as per Advance Reservation Period of 120 days & the change in timings on the tickets may change their date of journey for example if the old timing of 23:40hrs printed on the reservation ticket is changed to 00:05 hrs than the date of journey changes to the next day.
Booking of Tatkal tickets for Train No. 19019 Dehradun Exp will also be done presuming that the train leaves at midnight i.e at 23.59hrs instead of actual 00:05hrs. Hence tatkal booking for train leaving Bandra Terminus for e.g. on 27th July 2012 at 00:05hrs will start on 25th July 2012.
Passengers are requested to keep in mind the above while travelling in above trains.

EXTENSION OF RUN OF SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS


Railways have decided to extend the run of Summer Special trains no. 09722/09721 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Jaipur special train and 09742/09741 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Rewari special train upto to 30.07.2012 (07 trips in each direction) with immediate effect.

The services of 09722/09721 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Jaipur special train and 09742/09741 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Rewari special train will be available upto 30.07.2012. The other features like timings, route, stoppages, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.


In order to clear extra rush of rail passengers, Railways have decided to extend the run of Special trains no. 09640/09639 Ajmer- Haridwar- Ajmer Tri-Weekly Express by 3 trips each as per the following programme:

The service of 09640 Ajmer- Haridwar tri-weekly express special train will be available on 26.7.12 (Monday), 28.7.12 (Thursday) & 30.07.2012 (Saturday) when departing from Ajmer. In the return direction, the service of 09639 Haridwar -Ajmer tri-weekly express special train will be available on 27.7.12 (Tuesday), 29.7.12 (Friday) & 31.07.2012 (Sunday) when departing from Haridwar. The other features like timings, route, stoppages, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.

ERNAKULAM – GUWAHATI EXPRESS (VIA. CHENNAI) CANCELLED TODAY


Due to deteriorating law & order situation and heavy disruption of traffic in Kokrajhar region over North East Frontier Railway, T.No.12507 Ernakulam – Guwahati Express scheduled to leave Ernakulam Jn. at 21.15 hrs. today (24.7.2012) and passing through Chennai Central at 09.30/10.00 hrs. o­n 25.7.2012 is cancelled.


Temporary stoppage at Beas


For convenience of the rail passengers, Northern Railway has decided to provide a two minute stoppage to the train no. 12407/12408 Amritsar -New Jalpaiguri- Amritsar Karmabhoomi Express and 12379/12380 Amritsar -Sealdah- Amritsar Express trains at “Beas” station with effect from 03.08.2012 (Friday) and 05.08.2012 (Sunday) respectively on experimental basis for six months as per the following programme:

The 12407 New Jalpaiguri- Amritsar Karmabhoomi Express train will arrive at Beas railway station at 04.48 p.m. and in the return direction, the 12408 Amritsar -New Jalpaiguri Karmabhoomi Express train will arrive at Beas railway station at 10.00 a.m. and will have a stoppage of 2 minutes in both the directions.

The 12379 Sealdah- Amritsar Express train will arrive at Beas railway station at 06.48 p.m. and in the return direction, the 12380 Amritsar -Sealdah Express train will arrive at Beas railway station at 11.25 a.m. and will have a stoppage of 2 minutes in both the directions.

SCR Introduces “Book Your Meal” Scheme in Trains


South Central Railway has introduced “Book Your Meal Scheme” for the benefit of passengers for the trains having train side vending facility.

The passengers can now order for meals / breakfast by Phone / SMS and the food will besupplied to passengers at their berths / seats.

The facility is available o­n the following fourteen trains and the passengers can contact by phone / SMS o­n the phone numbers cited against each train.

Special Trains (One Way) for Gorakhpur and Howrah


Railways have decided to run two o­nE WAY special trains for the benefit of passengers i.e. o­ne from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus to Gorakhpur and other o­ne from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai to Howrah. The details are as under -



1)    Train No. 01043 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus  - Gorakhpur special train will leave LTT at 00.50 hrs o­n Wednesday 25.7.2012 (midnight of 24/25.7.2012 i.e. Tue/Wed night) and will reach Gorakhpur at 11.25 hrs next day.



Halts:      Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Lalitpur, Jhansi, Orai, PHN, Kanpur, Lucknow, Jarwal Road, Gonda, Babhnan, Basti and Khalidabad.

CHANGE OF TIMINGS OF PASSENGER TRAINS


The timings of the following passenger trains will be revised with effect from 23.7.2012.



1)T.No.56262 Bangalore – Arakkonam passenger will leave Jolarpettai at 14.00 hrs. instead of 15.10 hrs. and will arrive Arakkkonam at 18.00 hrs instead of 20.50 hrs.

Mysore-Sai Nagar Shirdi-Mysore Weekly Express Introduced


As announced in the Railway Budget 2012-13, South Western Railway has introduced Mysore-Sai Nagar Shirdi-Mysore Weekly Express via Bangalore, Dharmavaram, Bellary, Hospet, Gadag, Bijapur and Kurduvadi. This Train will pass through South Central Railway.

Train No.16217 Mysore-Sai Nagar ShirdiWeekly Express will depart Mysore at 05 30 hrs o­n Mondays and arrive Sai Nagar Shirdi at 1130hrs o­n Tuesdays. In the return direction Train No.16218Sai NagarShirdi-MysoreWeekly Express will depart Sai NagarShirdi at 2355 hrs o­n Tuesdays and arrive Mysore at 0655 hrs o­n Thursdays.

Enroute these Trains will stop at Mandya, Kengeri, Bangalore City, Bangalore Cant, Yelahanka, Hindupur, Dharmavaram, Anantapur, Guntakal, Bellary, Hospet, Koppal, Gadag, Bagalkot, Bijapur, Solapur, Kurduvadi, Daund, Ahmednagar, Belapur, Puntamba.

These Trains will have Two AC III Tier, Two AC II Tier, Twelve Sleeper class, Three General Second class and two Brake van coaches, totaling to twenty o­ne coaches.

Extension/Renumber of Surat -Varansi Tapti Ganga Express upto Chhapra


12945/12946 Surat–Varansi Tapti Ganga Express will be extended up to Chhapra with effect from 20th July, 2012.

From 20th July, 2012 train no 12945 which departs from Surat on every Monday, Wednusday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday at 09.35 hrs will reach Chhapra at 18.35hrs on the next day .

Similarly from 20th July, 2012 train no 12946 which departs from Chhapraon every Tuesday , Wednusday , Friday , Saturday & Sundayat 09.00 hrs will reach Surat at 18.50 hrs on the next day .

Also the train 12945 will be renumbered as 19045 w.e.f 15th November, 2012.

INTRODUCTION OF PURI – CHENNAI – PURI WEEKLY SUPERFAST EXPRESS TRAINS


A new Weekly Superfast Express will be introduced between Puri - Chennai Central w.e.f. 22.7.2012 from Puri and 23.7.2012 from Chennai.

T.No.22859 Puri – Chennai Central Weekly Superfast Express will leave Puri at 17.30 hrs. on Sundays and arrive Chennai Central at 14.55 hrs. on Mondays. T.No.22860 Chennai Central – Puri Weekly Superfast Express will leave Chennai Central at 16.15 hrs. on Mondays and arrive Puri at 15.05 hrs. on Tuesdays. The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 9 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Chatrapur, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Nayudupeta and Sullurupeta.

Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on 19.7.2012.

Tirupati-Madurai Bi-weekly Express to be Extended up to Rameswaram


Train No. 16779 / 16780 Tirupati - Madurai - Tirupati bi-weekly Express will be extended up to Rameswaram and its frequency also will be increased from bi-weekly to tri-weeklywith effect from 22nd July, 2012.

The inaugural run will commence from Tirupati o­n 22nd July, 2012 and from Rameswaram o­n 23rdJuly, 2012.

On its regular run, Train No. 16779 Tirupati-Rameswaram Tri-weekly Express will depart Tirupati at 13 15 hrs o­n Sundays, Tuesdays and Fridays and arrive Rameswaram at 09.15 hrs o­n the next day. In return direction Train No. 16780 Rameswaram-Tirupati Tri-weekly Express will depart Rameswaram at 16.00 hrs o­n all Mondays, Thursdays and Saturdays and arrive Tirupati at 10 35 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute this train will stop at Pakala, Katpadi, Vellore contonement,Tirunnamalai, Villupuram, Tiruppadirippullyur, Cuddalore Port, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladudurai, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Kodaikkanal Road, Madurai, Manamadurai, Paramakkudi, Ramananthapuram and Mandapam. This train will have AC, Sleeper Class, and General second class coaches.

EXTRA COACHES FOR PURI-DIGHA EXPRESS TRAIN


In view to clear wait listed passengers and to provide better passenger comforts to the commuters, Railways have decided to augment additional coaches in permanent basis in Puri-Digha-Puri weekly express trains with immediate effect.

12579/12580 Puri-Digha-Puri Express will be augmented with o­ne additional General Second Class coach and Four additional Sleeper Class coaches permanently w.e.f. 14th July from Puri and w.e.f. 15thJuly from Digha. o­n augmentation of these additional coaches, this train will run with 17 coaches, i.e. o­ne AC-2 tier cum AC-3 tier, o­ne AC- 3 tier, Nine Sleeper Class Coaches, Four General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard Cum Luggage Vans in its composition.

Similarly, 22878/22877 Puri-Digha-Puri Express will be augmented with o­ne additional General Second Class coach and Four additional Sleeper Class coaches permanently w.e.f. 18th July from Puri and w.e.f. 19th July from Digha. o­n augmentation of these additional coaches, this train will run with 17 coaches, i.e. o­ne AC-2 tier, o­ne AC- 3 tier, Nine Sleeper Class Coaches, Four General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard Cum Luggage Vans in its composition.

22859/22860 PURI - CHENNAI CENTRAL-PURI INTRODUCED


Railways decided to introduce a pair of train No.22859/22860 Puri- Chennai-Puri weekly super-fast express train with effect from 22.07.2012.



1. Train No.22859 will leave Puri o­n Sundays with effect from 22.07.2012 at 05.30 p.m., will reach Visakhapatnamon the next day (Monday) at 01.30 am (mid-night)., leaves at 01.50am and will reach Chennai the same day at 02.55 pm.


2. In the return direction Train No.22860 will leave Chennai on Monday at 04.15 pm will reach Visakhapatnam on Tuesdaysat 06.15 am leaves at 06.35 am and will reach Puri the same day at 03.05 pm.


Enroute, this pair stop at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Chatrapur, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Nayudupeta, Sullurupeta.

EXTENSION OF SURAT- VARANASI- SURAT TAPTI GANGA EXPRESS TRAIN UPTO CHHAPRA


For the convenience of the rail passengers, Railways have decided to extend the run of train no. 12945/12946 Surat- Varanasi- Surat Tapti GangaExpress train (five days a week) upto “Chhapra” station from 20.7.2012 as per the following programme:

The 12945 Surat- Varanasi Tapti GangaExpress train will depart from Surat station on every Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday at 09.35 a.m. to reach Chhapra railway station at 06.35 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 12946 Varanasi- Surat Tapti GangaExpress train will depart from Chhapra railway station on every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 09.00 a.m. to reach Surat railway station at 06.50 p.m. the next day.

The 12945/12946 Surat- Varanasi- SuratTapti GangaExpress train will stop at Jaunpur, Shahganj, Azamgarh, Mau and Ballia stations enroute in both the directions on extended route from Varanasi to Chhapra.

With effect from 15.11.2012, the number of 12945/12946 Surat- Varanasi- Surat Tapti GangaExpress will be changed to 19045 when departing from Surat and 19046 when departing from Chhapra from 16.11.2012.

Introduction of Lokmanya Tilak Terminus-Vishakapatnam New Weekly Superfast Express


Ministry of Railways have decided to introduce 22847 / 22848 Vishakapatnam - Lokmanya Tilak Terminus, a New Weekly Super Fast Express train w.e.f. 17.07.2012 Ex LTT and w.e.f. 15.07.2012 Ex Vishakapatnam. The details of commencement of regular services are as under-



22848 Weekly Superfast Express train will leave Lokmanyan Tilak Terminus at 00.15 hrs o­n every Tuesday (midnight of Mon/Tue) w.e.f. 17.07.2012 and arrive Vishakapatnam at 05.30 hrs next day.



22847 Weekly Superfast Express train will leave Vishakapatnam at 08.30 hrs o­n every Sunday w.e.f. 15.07.2012 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 13.35 hrs next day.



Halts: Kalyan, Nasik Road, Manmad, Bhusaval, Akola, Badnera, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Mahasamund, Khariar Road, Kantabanji, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parvatipuram Town, Bobblli Jn, Vizianagaram stations.

SCR Introduces Adilabad-H.S.Nanded-Adilabad Daily Express


As announced in the Railway Budget 2012-13, South Central Railway will introduce Adilabad – Huzur Saheb Nanded-Adilabad Daily Express Train on 14th July, 2012.

The Train will be flagged off by Shri. Ramesh Rathod, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Adilabad) at 08 30 hrs o­n 14th July 2012 at Adilabad Railway Station. Shri. Jogu Rammana, Hon’ble MLA, will be the Guest of Honour,

On its inaugural run, Train No.17409 Adilabad-H.S.Nanded-Express Train will depart Adilabad at 08 30 hrs and arrive at Nanded 12 15 hrs o­n the same day.There after, this Train will run as per its scheduled timings published in Southern Zone Railway Time Table-July 2012 issue.

Accodingly, Train No. 17409 Adilabad - H.S. Nanded Express Train will depart Adilabad at 07 30 hrs, Kinwat at 08 30 hrs, Bodhadibujrug at 08 45 hrs, Sahasrakund at 09 25 hrs, Himayatnagar at 09 45 hrs, Hadgaon Road at 10 10 hrs, Bhokar at 10 30 hrs, Mudkhed at 11 05 hrs and arrive Nanded at 12 00 hrs o­n the same day.

In the return direction, Train No. 17410 H.S. Nanded - Adilabad Express will depart at H.S. As announced in the Railway Budget 2012-13, East Coast Railway will introduce Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Weekly Super fast Express o­n 14thJuly, 2012.

Train No. 22871 Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Weekly Superfast Express will depart Bhuvaneshwar at 12 00 noon o­n Saturdays and arrive Tirupati at 08 25 hrs o­n Sundays.

In the return direction Train No. 22872 Tirupati-Bhuvaneshvar weekly super fast Express will depart Tirupati at 13 00 hrs o­n Sundays and arrive Bhuvaneshvar at 10 10 hrs o­n Mondays.Enroute, these Trains will stop at Khurda Road,Balugaon, Chatrapur, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur.

NORTHERN RAILWAY RUNS NEW WEEKLY TRAIN BETWEEN BANDRA T.- DELHI SARAI ROHILLA


As announced in the Rail Budget 2012-2013, the new train no. 19029/19030 Bandra T.- Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Bandra T. (weekly) Express will be introduced between Bandra T.- Delhi Sarai Rohilla as per the following programme:-

The 19030 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Bandra T. (weekly) Express train will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla from 19.07.2012 on every Thursday at 03.50 p.m. to reach Bandra T. at 05.10 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, the 19029 Bandra T.- Delhi Sarai Rohilla (weekly) Express train will depart from Bandra T. from 18.07.2012 on every Wednesday at 12.25 p.m. (noon) to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 01.20 p.m. the next day.

Consisting of One A.C. 2 Tier, Two A.C. 3 Tier, Seven Sleeper class, Six Second class and Two Second class Cum Luggage van coaches, the 19029/19030 Bandra T.- Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Bandra T. (weekly) Express train will stop at Boriveli, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Sabarmati, Mehsana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi Road, Falna, Rani, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Phulera, Ringus, shri Madhopur, Nim ka Thana, Narnaul, Rewari, Gurgaon, Delhi Cantt. stations enroute in both the directions.

Arakkonam-Nandalur Passenger Train Extended upto Cuddapah


South Central Railway has extended the run of Train No.56011/56012 Arakkonam – Nandalur - Arakkonam Passenger Train up to Cudappah with effect from 12 July 2012 for the convenience of commuters.


Accordingly Train No. 56011 Arakkonam – Cuddapah Passenger Train will depart Arakkonam at 07 05 hrs and arrive Nandalur at 12 23 hrs as at present.On its extended portion, this Train will depart Nandalur at 12 25 hrs, Mantapampalle at 12 35 hrs, o­ntimitta at 12 44 hrs, Bhakrapeta at 12 53 hrs, Kanamalopalle at 13 02 hrs and arrive Cuddapah at 13 45 hrs o­n the same day.


In the return directon, o­n its extended portion, Train No. 56012 Cudappah – Arakkonam passenger Train will depart Cuddapah at 14 35 hrs, Kanamalopalle at 14 47 hrs, Bhakrapeta at 14 54 hrs, o­ntimitta at 15 02 hrs, Mantapampalle at 15 12 hrs and arrive Nandalurat 15 18 hrs. It will depart Nandalur at 15 20 hrs as at present, Renigunta at 18 00 hrs andarrive Arakkonam at 20 05hrs o­n the same day.
