WR TO RUN GANAPATI SPECIAL TRAINS TO MADGAON FROM BANDRA (T) & AHMEDABAD (Via VASAI ROAD)

For the convenience of passengers during Ganesh Festival, WR will run Special train services between Bandra(T) - Madgaon (Goa) and Ahmedabad - Madgaon (Goa) via Vasai Rd.

Bandra(T) – Madgaon Special Train

Train No.09009 Bandra(T)– Madgaon Special Train will leave Bandra(T) at 00.15 hrs o­n every Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday from 2nd September to 21st September , 2013. It will reach Madgaon at 16.30 hrs, on same day.

Similarly, in return direction train No.09010 Madgaon – Bandra(T) Special Train will leave Madgaon at 20.00 hrs o­n every Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday from 2nd September to 21st September, 2013. It will arrive at Bandra(T) at 13.20 hrs, the next day.

The train will halt at Andheri, Borivali, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi, Madure, Pernem, Thivim and Karmali stations in both directions.

The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and II class general coaches.

Ahmedabad – Madgaon Special Train (via Vasai Road)

Train No.09416 Ahmedabad–Madgaon Special Train will leave Ahmedabad at 16.55 hrs on every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday from 2nd September to 21st September, 2013. It will arrive at Vasai Rd at 00.40 hrs next day and reach Madgaon at 16.30 hrs.

Similarly, in return direction train No.09415 Madgaon – Ahmedabad Special Train will leave Madgaon at 20.00 hrs o­n every Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday from 3rd September to 22nd September, 2013.It will arrive at Vasai Rd at 10.40 hrs next day and reach Ahmedabad at 19.20 hrs.

The train will halt at Nadiad, Anand, Vadodara, Bharuch, Surat, Navsari,Valsad, Vapi, Dahanu Road, Boisar, Vasai Road, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda, Sangameshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal, Zarap, Sawantwadi, Madure, Pernem, Thivim and Karmali stations in both directions.

The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and II class general coaches.

The booking for 09009 & 09416 will open at all Passenger Reservation Centers o­n 2nd August, 2013.

Train services to be extended

Train No.56710/56709 Madurai-Dindigul-Madurai Passenger will be extended to Palani from August 2, according to a press release issued by the Southern Railway here on Tuesday.

Regular service of Train No.56710 Madurai-Palani Passenger and Train No.56709 Palani–Madurai Passenger will commence from that day itself, the release from the Southern Railway added.

Train No.56710 Madurai-Palani Passenger will leave Madurai at 7.35 a.m., arrive at Dindigul at 8.55 a.m.

After a five-minute halt, the Madurai-Palani Passenger will leave Dindigul and reach Palani at 10.45 a.m.

Train No.56709 Palani-Madurai Passenger will leave Palani at 5.05 p.m., arrive at Dindigul at 6.10 p.m.

It will leave Dindigul at 6.15 p.m. and reach Madurai at 8.15 p.m.

Stoppages

The extended trains will stop at Kudalnagar, Samayanallur, Sholavandan, Vadipatti, Kodaikkanal Road, Ambaturai, Dindigul, Akkaraippatti, Oddanchatram and Chatrapatti.



The extended service of the Kannur-Thiruvananthapuram Jan Shatabdi Express (Train no. 12081) will be flagged off by K. Sudhakaran, MP, at Kannur railway station at 4.45 a.m. on Friday.

A press release issued by Railways said the Thiruvananthapuram-Kozhikode Jan Shatabdi Express (Train no. 12082) leaving Thiruvananthapuram on Friday will run up to Kannur.

A.P. Abdullakutty, MLA; municipal chairperson Roshni Khalid; and district panchayat president K.A. Sarala will be present at the flag-off function. The detailed timings of the Thiruvananthapuram-Kannur Jan Shatabdi Express are as follows: Thiruvananthapuram-2.20 p.m., Kollam- 3.15 p.m., Chengannur-4.12 p.m., Kottayam-4.52 p.m., Ernakulam Town-6.05 p.m., Thrissur-7.18 p.m., Shoranur-8.20 p.m., Tirur-9 p.m., Kozhikode-9.55 p.m., Vadakara-10.30 p.m., Thalassery-10.50 p.m., and Kannur-11.30 p.m.

The Thiruvananthapuram-bound train will leave Kannur at 4.45 a.m.


Extension of Ratlam-Chittorgarh-Ratlam  up to Bhilwara.



EXTENSION OF TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

For the convenience of the rail passengers and to increase the passenger carrying capacity of trains, Railway has decided to extend the augmentation of the train nos. 15707/15708 Katihar-Amritsar-Katihar Express, 22811/22812 and 22823/22824 Bhubaneswar- New Delhi-Bhubaneswar RajdhaniExpress trains on temporary basis as per the under-mentioned programme:-

·The 15707/15708 Katihar-Amritsar-Katihar Express train has been augmented by One additional General Second Class Coach from 01.08.2013 to 30.09.2013 when departing from Katihar and from 04.08.2013 to 03.10.2013 when departing from Amritsar. The other features like timings, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.
·The 22811/22812 and 22823/22824 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar RajdhaniExpress trains have been augmented by One additional A.C.2 Tier and Three additional A.C.3 Tier Coaches each from 01.08.2013 to 31.08.2013 when departing from Bhubaneswar and from 02.08.2013 to 01.09.2013 when departing from New Delhi. The other features like timings, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.

PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF REWA EXPRESS TRAIN

The 12428/12427 Anand Vihar T.- Rewa- Anand Vihar T. Express train will be augmented permanently by One additional First A.C. cum A.C.2 Tier Coach from 01.08.2013 when departing from Anand Vihar T. and from 02.08.2013 when departing from Rewa. The other features like timings, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.

WR EXTENDS 79301/79302 RATLAM-CHITTAURGARH DEMU (DAILY) UPTO BHILWARA

Ministry of Railways have decided to extend 79301/79302 Ratlam-Chittaurgarh DEMU train up to Bhilwara w.e.f. 01.08.13 Ex Ratlam and w.e.f 02.08.13 Ex Bhilwara stopping at all stations in between.

Accordingly, Train No 79301 Ratlam - Bhilwara DEMU leaves Ratlam at 18.30 hrs and will reach Bhilwara at 00.55 hrs. Similarly, Train No 79302 Bhilwara - Ratlam DEMU will leave Bhilwara at 03.15 hrs and reach Ratlam at 09.50 hrs.

Special Train between Kazipet and H S Nanded

Train No. 07151 Kazipet-Nanded Special Train will depart Kazipet at 20 30 hrs,  on 2nd August arrive/depart Secunderabad at 23 10 / 23 30 hrs  on 2ndAugust, 2013 (Friday)and arrive  H S Nanded at 04 00 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, this special train will stop at Jangaon, Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar and Mudkhed stations.
The train will comprise of five Sleeper Class, o­ne Second Class Chair Car, two General Second Class, two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to ten coaches.

Special Trains between Lingampalli and Kakinada Town

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will run Six Special Trains between Lingampalli and Kakinada Town and o­ne Special Train between Kazipet and H S Nanded as per the following schedule:-

1)Lingampalli-Kakinada Town-Lingampalli Special Trains (6 services):-
Train No. 07101 Lingampalli-Kakinada Town Special Train will depart Lingampalli at 20 40 hrs, Secunderabad at 21 40 hrs, Malkajgiri at 21 52 hrs o­n 8th, 14th and 18th August, 2013 and arrive Kakinada Town at 08 00 hrs o­n the next day.
In the return direction, Train No.07102 Kakinada Town-Lingampalli Special Train will depart Kakinada Town at 22 45 hrs o­n 8th, 14th and 18thAugust, 2013 and arrive Malkajgiri at 09 51 hrs, Secunderabad at 10 10 hrs, Lingampalli at 11 05 hrs o­n the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will also stop at Begumpet, Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikudi, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot stations in both the directions.
The train will comprise of o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, four general Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to sixteen coaches

Special Trains during Ganpati Festival

Central Railway has decided to run 66 Reserved Special Trains and 54 Unreserved Special Trains during the ensuing Ganpati Festival to clear the extra rush of Passengers. The details are as under –

 A)    RESERVED SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN CST MUMBAI – MADGAON (except Thursday) (32 Services)

 01033   Special will leave CST Mumbai at 00.20 hrs for Six days (except Thursday) from 4.9.2013 to 22.9.2013 (16 trips) and will reach Madgaon at 14.10 hrs same day.

 01034   Special will leave Madgaon at 14.40 hrs daily (Except Thursday) from 4.9.2013 to 22.9.2013 (16 trips) and will arrive CST Mumbai at 04.30 hrs next day.

01004 Unreserved Tri-weekly Special  will leave Sawantwadi at 04.50 hrs (Monday, Wednesday and Saturday) from 7.9.2013 to 23.9.2013 (8 trips) and will arrive Dadar at 16.10 hrs same day.

INTRODUCTION OF CHENNAI EGMORE – TUTICORIN (LINK) EXPRESS

Southern Railway will introduce a new train service between Chennai Egmore – Tuticorin o­n 31st July, 2013.

     Train No.16129 Chennai Egmore – Tuticorin (Link) express will leave Chennai Egmore at 07.40 hrs. and arrive Tuticorin at 20.35 hrs. the same day.  Train No.16130 Tuticorin – Chennai Egmore (Link) express will leave Tuticorin at 07.35 hrs. and arrive Chennai Egmore at 21.15 hrs. the same day.

     These link express trains will run with Train No.16127/16128 Chennai Egmore – Guruvayur – Chennai Egmore express trains between Chennai Egmore – Vanchi Maniyachchi – Chennai Egmore.  Between Vanchi Maniyachchi Jn. – Tuticorin, the Chennai Egmore – Tuticorin (Link) express will stop at Milavittan and Tuti-Melur; the Tuticorin – Chennai Egmore (Link) express will stop at Milavittan and will not stop at Tuti-melur.  

     The composition of these trains will be 6 reserved second class, 1 General second class and 1 luggage-cum- brake van coaches.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

For the convenience of the rail passengers and to increase the passenger carrying capacity of trains, Railway has decided to extend the augmentation of the 18201/18202 Durg- Nautanwa Express, 18205/18206 Durg- Nautanwa Express , 18237/18238 Chattisgarh Express, 12823/12824 Chhattisgarh Sampark Kranti Express and 12549/12550 Durg-Jammu Tawi Super Fast Express on temporary basis as per the under-mentioned programme:-




·18201/02 Durg-Nautanwa Express train has been augmented by one additional A.C. 3 Tier Coach up to 30.10.2013 when departing from Durg and up to 01.11.2013 when departing from Nautanwa. The other features like timings, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.

·18205/06 Durg- Nautanwa Express train has been augmented by one additional A.C.2 Tier Coach up to 31.10.2013 when departing from Durg and up to 01.11.2013 when departing from Nautanwa The other features like timings, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.

·18237/38 Bilaspur-Amritsar Chattisgarh Express train has been augmented by one additional A.C. 3 Tier Coach  up to 31.10.2013 when departing from BSP and up to 02.11.2013 when departing from ASR. The other features like timings, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.

·12823/24 Durg-Nizamuddin Chhattisgarh Sampark Kranti Express train has been augmented by one additional A.C. 2 Tier Coach  up to 31.10.2013 when departing from Durg and up to 01.11.2013 when departing from Nizamuddin. The other features like timings, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.

·12549/50 Durg-Jammu Tawi Super Fast Express train has been augmented by one additional A.C. 2 Tier Coach  up to 28.10.2013 when departing from Durg and up to 31.10.2013 when departing from Jammu Tawi. The other features like timings, route, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.

PURI-DARBHANGA EXPRESS TO BE EXTENDED TO JAY NAGAR

With an aim to provide more passengers comfort to the commuters and as announced in last Railway Budget, Railways have decided to extend 18419/18420 Puri-Darbhanga-Puri Express up to Jay Nagar w.e.f. 1st August 2013.

18419 Puri-Darbhanga Express leaving Puri at 1345 hrs on every Thursday will be extended to Jay Nagar w.e.f. 1st August 2013 and will arrive at Jay Nagar at 1330 hrs on Fridays.

In the Return Direction, 18420 Jay Nagar-Puri Express will leave Jay Nagar at 0445 hrs o­n every Saturday and will arrive at Puri at 0320 hrs on every Sunday w.e.f. 3rd August 2013.

        18419/18420 Puri-Jay Nagar-Puri Express has one AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tiers, Eight Sleeper Class, Six General Second Class and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans inits composition having stoppages at Sakri and Madhubani between Darbhanga and Jay Nagar. The timings and stoppages for this train mentioned in the new Time Table between Puri and Drabhanga will remain unchanged.


SWR TO RUN WEEKLY GARIB RATH EXPRESS SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN YESVANTPUR-JAIPUR-YESVANTPUR

South Western Railway has decided to continue to run WEEKLY GARIB RATH EXPRESS SPECIAL TRAINS  between YESVANTPUR-JAIPUR-YESVANTPUR (Tr.Nos.06511/06512)     for 22 Specials in each direction, as per the following details:--

Accordingly, Train No.06511 YESVANTPUR-JAIPUR WEEKLY GARIB RATH EXPRESS SPECIAL will depart at YESVANTPUR at 05-10 hrs., on SUNDAYS, commencing from04th August, 2013 to 29th December, 2013 (Total : 22 Specials ) and arrive at JAIPUR station at 03-50 hrs., on Tuesday.

In the return direction, Train No. 06512 JAIPUR-YESVANTPUR WEEKLY GARIB RATH EXPRESS SPECIAL will depart at JAIPUR at 15-30 hrs. on TUESDAYS, commencing from 06th August, 2013 to 31st December, 2013 (Total : 22 Specials)and arrive at YESVANTPUR at 15-10 hrs., on Thursdays.

The Weekly Garib Rath Express Special has total 18 Coaches, consisting of Sixteen AC 3-tier coaches and Two Motor Cars.

DAYS OF SERVICE OF BHUBANESWAR-NEW DELHI DURONTO EXPRESS AND BHUBANESWAR-TIRUPATI EXPRESS TO BE CHANGED FROM SEPTEMBER

In view of operational convenience for smooth running of trains, Railways have decided to change the days of service of Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Duronto Express and Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Express from September of this year.

12281 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Duronto Express scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar o­n Sundays has been changed to run on Wednesday’s w.e.f. 4th September 2013. In the return direction, 12282 New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Duronto Express scheduled to leave New Delhi on Mondays has been changed to run on Thursday w.e.f. 5th September 2013.

Similarly, 22871 Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Express scheduled to leave Bhubaneswar o­n Saturdays will run on Sunday w.e.f. 8th September 2013 and in the return direction, 22872 Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Express scheduled to leave Tirupati on Sundays will run on Monday w.e.f. 9th September 2013.

Change in Train Numbers, Days of Services and Timings of Visakhapatnam-Mumbai LTT Bi-weekly Express

The train number, days of Service and timings of  Visakhapatnam-Mumbai LTT Bi-weekly Express train will be  revised as detailed below:

Train No. 22819 / 22820 of Visakhapatnam-Mumbai LTT-Visakhapatnam bi-weekly Express will be revised as 18519 / 18520 Visakhapatnam-Mumbai LTT-Visakhapatnam Express with effect from 10th September, 2013 ex. Visakhapatnam  and  from 12th September,  2013 ex. Mumbai  LTT.

Train No. 18519 Visakhapatnam-Mumbai LTT bi-weekly Express will depart Visakhapatnam at 23 30 hrs instead of 08 45 hrs and arrive Mumbai LTT at 04 40 hrs on the  next day  instead of 11 05 hrs with effect from 10th September, 2013.

In the return direction, Train No. 18520 Mumbai LTT-Visakhapatnam by-weekly Express will depart Mumbai LTT at 06 55 hrs instead of 12 25 hrs and arrive Visakhapatnam at 11 15 hrs. on the next day instead of 14 45 hrs with effect from 12th September 2013.

Similarly, the days of service will be also changed.  Train No. 18519 Visakhapatnam-Mumbai LTT bi-weekly Express will depart Visakhapatnam  o­n Wednesdays and Saturdays as existing whereas Train No. 18520 Mumbai LTT-Visakhapatnam by-weekly Express will depart Mumbai LTT on Fridays and Mondays instead of Thursdays and Sundays. 

Change in Days of Service for Certain Trains

1.Train No. 22871 Bhubaneswar-Tirupati weekly Express will depart Bhubaneswar o­n Sundays instead of Saturdays with effect from 08th September, 2013.

2.Train No. 22872 Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Express will depart Tirupati on Mondays instead of Sundays with effect from 09th September, 2013.

3.Train No. 12770 Secunderabad-Tirupati Seven Hills Bi-weekly Express will depart Secunderabad on Fridays instead of Saturdays with effect from 06th September, 2013. There is no change in departure on Tuesdays.

4.Train No. 12769 Tirupati-Secunderabad Bi-weekly Seven Hills Express will  depart Tirupati on  Mondays instead of  Sundays  with effect from 09th September, 2013. There is no change in departure on Fridays.

New passenger train between Nadiad and Modasa

Western Railway will introduce a new passenger train between Nadiad and Modasa o­n 26th July, 2013. It will run six days a week except Friday. The regular service of the train will start from 27/07/2013.

The inaugural run of the train will be run as Train No.09153 Ex Nadiad on 26/07/2013 (Friday) at 10.00 hrs which will arrive at Modasa at 13.30 hrs the same day. In its return direction, Train No. 09154 will depart from Modasa at 14.15 hrs reaching Nadiad Jn. at 17.45 hrs the same day.

In its regular run from 27th July, 2013, Train No. 59153 Nadiad – Modasa passenger will leave Nadiad at 10.00 hrs every day (except Friday) and reach Modasa at 13.30 hrs, the same day.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 59154 Modasa – Nadiad passenger will leave Modasa at 14.15 hrs every day (except Friday) from 27th July, 2013 and reach Nadiad at 17.45 hrs, the same day.

The train has second class general coaches.

The train will halt at Mahudha, Bhaner-Minawada Road, Kathlal, Kapadvanj, Vadali Letar Road, Kashipura, Beyad and Dhansura stations in both directions.

INTRODUCTION OF NEW TRAIN BETWEEN SHAKTINAGAR- VARANASI

 For the convenience of the passengers, Railway has decided to introduce new Daily Link Intercity Express train No. 23345/23346 between Shaktinagar and Varanasi from 26.07.2013 as per the under-mentioned details:-

 The 23345 Varanasi- Shaktinagar Daily Link Intercity Express train will depart from Varanasiat 02.10 p.m. to reach Shaktinagar at 09.45 p.m. the same day. In the return direction, the 23346 Shaktinagar- Varanasi Daily Link Intercity Express train will depart from Shaktinagar at 05.15 a.m. to reach Varanasi at 01.00 p.m. the same day.

 Comprising of o­ne A.C. Chair Car, Four General Class and Two Disabled Friendly Second Class cum luggage van coaches, the 23345/23346 Shaktinagar- Varanasi- Shaktinagar Daily Link Intercity Express train will stop at Krishnashila, Karalia Road, Obradan and Chopan enroute in both the directions.

 Consequently, the composition of 13345/13346 Shakti Nagar-Varanasi-Shakti Nagar Express will also be revised from 26.7.2013 as the composition of 23345/23346 Shakti Nagar-Varanasi-Shakti Nagar Daily Link Intercity Express, i.e. o­ne A.C. Chair Car, Four General Class and Two Disabled Friendly Second Class cum luggage van coaches.


Train No. 16351/16352 CST Mumbai-Nagercoil-CST Mumbai Balaji Express to run via Renigunta

South Central Railway will divert Train No. 16351/16352 CST Mumbai-Nagercoil-CST Mumbai Balaji Express to run via Renigunta without touching Tirupati  with effect from the dates mentioned below:-

1)   Train No. 16351 CST Mumbai-Nagercoil Balaji Express will run via Renigunta without touching Tirupati with effect from 03rd September, 2013.

2) Train No. 16352 Nagercoil-CST Mumbai Balaji Express will run via Renigunta without touching Tirupati with effect from 05th September, 2013.

REVISION OF TIMINGS

 ‍Due to operational reasons, Northern Railway has decided to revise the timings of train no. 14731 Delhi-Bathinda Express and 15279 Saharsa-Adarsh Nagar Delhi Poorabiya Express trains from 28.07.2013 as per the under-mentioned details:-

 ·The train no. 14731 Delhi-Bathinda Express train will depart from Delhi Jn. at 02:15 p.m. instead of 01:45 p.m. to reach Subzi Mandi at 02:30 p.m., Narela at 02:54 p.m., Sonipat at 03:13 p.m., Ganaur at 03:33 p.m., Samalkha at 03:58 p.m. and Panipat at 04:17 p.m. with two minutes stoppage at each station enroute.

 The timings of the 14731 Delhi-Bathinda Express train between Panipat and Bathinda will remain unchanged. The other features like, route, stoppages, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.

 ·The train no. 15279 Saharsa-Adarsh Nagar Delhi Poorabiya Express train will depart from Delhi Jn. at 02:25 p.m. instead of 01:50 p.m. to reach Adarsh Nagar Delhi at 02.55 p.m. instead of 02.15 p.m.

 The timings of the 15279 Saharsa-Adarsh Nagar Delhi Poorbiya Express train between Saharsa and Ghaziabad Jn. will remain unchanged. The other features like, route, stoppages, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.

SCR to Run Special Trains

1)Secunderabad-Guwahati-Secunderabad Special Train (08 Trips):-

Train No. 07149 Secunderabad - Guwahati Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 07 30 hrs o­n 26th July, 2nd, 9th & 16thAugust, 2013 (Fridays) and arrive Guwahati at 07 55 hrs o­n the second day i.e. Sundays.

In the return direction, Train No.07150 Guwahati - Secunderabad Special Train will depart Guwahati at 06 00 hrs o­n 29th July, 5th, 12th& 19th August, 2013 (Mondays) and arrive Secunderabad at 09 15 hrs o­n the second day i.e. Wednesdays.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Jangaon, Kazipet, Warangal, Mahabubabad, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Anakapalli, Duvada, Visakhapatnam, Vijayanagaram, Palasa, Berhampur, Kurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur, Howrah, Bolpur, Rampurhat, Malda, Barsoi, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, Dhupguri, New Coochbehar, New Alipurduar, Kokrajhar, New Bongaigaon, Goalpura Town and Kamakhya stations in both the directions. These trains will have 16 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, Eight Sleeper Class, Four General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

2)Aurangabad-Secunderabad Special Train (01 Trip):-

Train No. 07505 Aurangabad-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Aurangabad at 18 40 hrs o­n 25th July, 2013 (Thursday) and arrive Secunderabad at 06 00 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, this train will stop at Jalna, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudkhed, Dharmabad, Basar, Nizamabad and Kamareddi stations. This special train will have 12 coaches viz, Seven General Second Class, Three Sleeper Class and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

AC CHAIR CAR COACH TO BE AUGMENTED IN PURI-PARADEEP-PURI EXPRESS PERMANENTLY

With a view to avoid rush in regular trains and to provide comfortable journey to the passengers, East Coast Railway has decided to increase the composition of Puri-Paradeep-Puri Express permanently with immediate effect.

18414/18415  Puri-Paradeep-Puri Express will be augmented with o­ne AC Chair Car Coach permanently, with immediate effect. Now the train will run with o­ne AC Chair Car Coach, 07 Second Class Chair Car Coaches and two Guard cum luggage van coaches. 

INTRODUCTION OF NEW EMU TRAINS

One pair of new EMU local train will be introduced in the Chennai Beach – Velacherry – Chennai Beach (MRTS) section with effect from 22.07.2013.



Train No.41131 EMU local will leave Chennai Beach at 21.00 hrs. and arrive Velacherry at 21.45 hrs.



Train No.41132 EMU local will leave Velacherry at 21.50 hrs. and arrive Chennai Beach at 22.35 hrs.

WR EXTENDS 19327/19328 RATLAM-CHITTAURGARH EXPRESS UPTO UDAIPUR

Ministry of Railways have decided to extend 19327/19328 Ratlam-Chittaurgarh Express up to Udaipur w.e.f. 20.07.13.

Train No 19327 Ratlam-Udaipur Express will leave Ratlam at 16.55 hrs and reach Udaipur City at 24.00 hrs. Similarly, 19328 Udaipur-Ratlam Express will leave Udaipur City at 01.15 hrs and reach Ratlam at 08.00 hrs.

Dwarka -Somnath Express extended up to okha

Ministry of Railways have decided to extend 19251/19252 Dwarka-Somnath Express up to Okha w.e.f. 21.07.13. on its introductory run Train No. 19252 Okha-Somnath will leave Okha at 17.00 hrs and arrive Dwarka at 17.30 hrs on 21/7/2013. Regular service of Train No.19252 will start from 22/07/2013 Ex Okha while regular run of Train No. 19251 will commence from 21/07/2013 Ex Somnath.

Over the extended portion, 19252 Okha – Somnath Express will leave Okha at 20.05 hrs and reach Dwarka at 20.35 hrs. Similarly, 19251 Somnath – Okha Express will leave Dwarka at 07.05 hrs and reach Okha at 08.20 hrs.

AUGMENTATION BY SWR

South Western Railway has decided to augment Train No. 56231 Mysore-Bangalore City Passenger, Train No. 56221 Bangalore City-Tumkur Passenger, Train No.56222 Tumkur-Bangalore City Passenger, Train No.56225/56226 Bangalore City –Tumkur-Bangalore City Passengers, Train Nos.56223/56224 Bangalore City-Arsikere-Bangalore City Passenger Train No.56232 Bangalore City-Mysore Passenger &Train Nos. 56237/56238 Mysore-Bangalore City-Mysore Passengers with TWO additional GENERAL SECOND CLASS COACHES, with immediate effect.

The revised composition of the above trains has total : 18 coaches (instead of 16 coaches earlier), consisting of Sixteen General Second Class Coaches, One General Second Class coach-cum-Disabled coach and One Second Class luggage-cum-brake van.

AUGMENTATION OF TRAIN NOS. 06517/06518 YESVANTPUR-MIRAJ-YESVANTPUR TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS WITH ONE FIRST CLASS AC COACH, WITH IMMEDIATE EFFECT :



Train Nos.06517/06528 YESVANTPUR-MIRAJ-YESVANTPUR TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS runs with total: 16 coaches(instead of 15 coaches earlier), on nominated days,with immediate effect, after augmenting with One First Class AC Coach along with existing composition of One AC 2-tier coach, One AC 3-tier coach, Seven Second Class Sleeper coaches, Four General Second Class coaches & Two Second Class Luggage-cum-brake vans.

SOUTH WESTERN RAILWAYS TO EXTEND TRAINS

Ministry of Railways desires to extend the following trains which have been announced in Railway Budget-2013-14 as per the following details:--

I. EXTENSION OF TRAINS ON SWR SYSTEM : (With effect from 18th July, 2013)

 1.Train Nos.16536/16535 SOLAPUR-YESVANTPUR-SOLAPUR DAILY EXPRESS (Via Bangalore City )TO MYSORE:
The timings in the extended portion are as follows:-

Train No.16536 SOLAPUR-MYSORE DAILY EXPRESS (Via Yesvantpur & Bangalore City) will depart at SOLAPUR at 14-40 hrs. with effect from 18th July, 2013 and arrive at MYSORE at 11-15 hrs., the next day, It will arrive/depart at Hubli at 23-00/23-20 hrs; Yesvantpur at 07-50/07-55 hrs; and Bangalore City at 08-10/08-15 hrs.

In the return direction, Train No.16535 MYSORE-SOLAPUR DAILY EXPRESS(Via Bangalore City & Yesvantpur) will depart at MYSORE at 15-30 hrs. with effect from 18th July, 2013 and arrive at SOLAPUR at 13-30 hrs., the next day.It will arrive/depart at BANGALORE CITY at 18-40/18-50 hrs.; Yesvantpur at 19-10/19-30 hrs; and arrive/depart at HUBLI at 03-50/04-10 hrs.

En route, the Express train will stop between Bangalore City and Mysore stations are at : Kengeri, Bidadi, Ramanagaram, Channapatna, Maddur, Mandya & Pandavapura in both the directions.

NOTE :The timings at en route stoppage stations are mentioned in the new Regional Public Time Table of 01st July, 2013 issue.There is no change in commercial stoppages and timings between Solapur –Yesvantpur, which has come into effect from 01st July, 2013.There is also no change in existing composition.

2.Train Nos.16591/16592 HUBLI-BANGALORE CITY-HUBLI HAMPI DAILY EXPRESS TO MYSORE:

In the return direction, Train No.16592 MYSORE-HUBLI (Via BANGALORE CITY ) HAMPI DAILY EXPRESS will depart at MYSORE at 18-15 hrs., with effect from 18th July, 2013 and arrive at HUBLI at 11-00 hrs., the next day.It will arrive/depart at BANGALORE CITY at 21-50/22-00 hrs.

In the return direction, Train No.17307 MYSORE-BAGALKOT BASAVA DAILY EXPRESS(Via Bangalore City & Yesvantpur) will depart at MYSORE at 13-30 hrs., with effect from 18th July, 2013 and arrive at BAGALKOT at 12-10 hrs., the next day.It will arrive/depart at BANGALORE CITY at 16-40/17-00 hrs.; Yesvantpur at 17-20/17-40 hrs.

Temporary Change in train services

Southern Railway has announced change in certain train services in the Tiruchi-Erode section from July 18 to 24 in view of engineering work related to the rebuilding of bridge No. 51 between Kulithalai and Pettavaithalai.

Tiruchi-Palakkad Town Fast Passenger (59847) will be cancelled from July 18 to 24. In order to cater to the passengers of the train, one special train will leave Tiruchi at noon from July 18 to 24. The train will run to open timings with the stoppages of Train No. 56847 up to Karur. It will arrive Karur at 1.45 p.m. and will pick up the scheduled timings and stoppages of Train No. 56847 from Karur. Karur-Tiruchi DEMU Passenger (76834) leaving Karur at 3.30 p.m. is rescheduled to leave Karur at 4.15 p.m. It will arrive Tiruchi at 6.25 p.m. instead of 5.30 p.m.

Tiruchi-Karur DEMU Passenger (76835) leaving Tiruchi at 6.10 p.m. is rescheduled to leave Tiruchi at 7 p.m. The train will reach Karur at 9.05 p.m. instead of 8.25 p.m.

Three train services extended up to Mysore

The Railways have extended three trains with effect from July 18 to reach Mysore according to the announcements made in the Railway Budget-2013-14.

Train No.16536 Solapur-Yeshwantpur-Solapur Express (Via Bangalore City) will depart Solapur at 2.40 p.m. and arrive at Mysore 11.15 a.m., the next day. In the return direction, the Mysore-Solapur Daily Express will depart from Mysore at 3.30 p.m. and arrive at Solapur at 1.30 p.m., the next day.

Train No.16591 Hubli-Mysore (Via Bangalore City) Hampi Daily Express will leave Hubli at 6 p.m. and arrive at Mysore at 9.40 a.m., the next day. Train No.16592 Mysore-Hubli (Via Bangalore City) Hampi Daily Express will depart from Mysore at 6.15 p.m. and arrive at Hubli at 11 a.m., the next day.

Train No.17308 Bagalkot-Mysore Basava Daily Express will depart from Bagalkot at 2.10 p.m. and arrive at Mysore at 1.50 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, Train No.17307 Mysore-Bagalkot Basava Daily Express (Via Bangalore City & Yeshwantpur) will depart from Mysore at 1.30 p.m. and arrive at Bagalkot 12.10 p.m., the next day.

As announced in the Railway Budget 2013-14, Railways will introduce the train No. 15622/15621 Anand Vihar T.- Kamakhya- Anand Vihar T. (Weekly) express as per the following programme:

          The 15622 Anand Vihar T.- Kamakhya (Weekly) Express train will depart from Anand Vihar T. on every Friday from 19.07.2013 at 11.45 p.m. to reach Kamakhya at 02.45 p.m. the third day. In the return direction, the 15621 Kamakhya- Anand Vihar T. (Weekly) Express train will depart from Kamakhya on every Thursday from 25.07.2013 at 06.10 a.m. to reach Anand Vihar T. at 05.40 p.m. the next day.

          Comprising of one A.C. 3 Tier, Five Sleeper Class, Six General Class and Two Disabled Friendly Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches, the 15622/15621 Anand Vihar T.- Kamakhya- Anand Vihar T. (Weekly) Express train will stop at Ghaziabad, Hapur, Moradabad, Chandausi, Sitapur Cantt., Gonda, Mankapur, Basti, Gorakhpur, Siwan, Chhapra, Hajipur, Barauni, Khagaria, Naugachia, Katihar, Kishanganj, New Jalpaiguri, Binnaguri, Alipurdwar, Kokrajhar, New Bongaigaon and Goalpara Town stations enroute in both the directions.

Inaugural run of 15621 Kamakhya- Anand Vihar T. (Weekly) Express train will be on 18.07.2013 from Kamakhya station.

EXTENSION OF RUN OF SPECIAL TRAINS

To clear extra rush of passengers, Northern Railway has decided to extend the run of. Special trains as per the following programme:

    The run of 04031/04032 Delhi Jn.- Ambala- Delhi Jn. special train has been extended with immediate effect up to  31.08.2013 from both the directions with composition of one A.C. 2 Tier, one A.C. 3 Tier, Nine Sleeper Class, Six General Class and Two Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches in both directions.
    The run of 04604/04603 Jammu Tawi- Pathankot- Jammu Tawi special train has been extended with immediate effect upto 30.08.2013 from both the directions.
    The run of 04051 Anand Vihar T.- Jammu Tawi special train will be extended from 18.07.2013 to 31.08.2013 when departing from Anand Vihar T. while in return direction, the 04052 Jammu Tawi- Anand Vihar T. special train will be extended from 19.07.2013 to 01.09.2013 when departing from Jammu Tawi with composition of Fourteen Sleeper Class, Five General Class and Two Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches in both directions.
    The run of 04009 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Bhatinda special train has been extended with immediate effect upto 31.07.2013 when departing from Delhi Sarai Rohilla while in return direction, the 04010 Bhatinda- Delhi Sarai Rohilla special train will be extended from 17.07.2013 to 01.08.2013 when departing from Bhatinda with composition of one A.C. 2 Tier, one A.C. 3 Tier, Five Sleeper Class, Six General Class and Two Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches in both directions.

ADDITIONAL STOPPAGE TO DELHI SARAI ROHILLA- BHATINDA SPECIAL TRAIN AT TOHANA

For the convenience of rail passengers, Northern Railway has decided to provide additional stoppage to train no. 04009/0410 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Bhatinda- Delhi Sarai Rohilla special at Tohana with immediate effect in both the directions. The other features like route, timings, composition, stoppages etc. will remain as unchanged.
