NEW EXPRESS TRAIN BETWEEN INDORE AND CHANDIGARH

Western Railway is going to introduce new train between Indore and Chandigarh on 04/02/2014. This train will benefit the passengers of Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana and Punjab.

Indore-Chandigarh Weekly Express (via Guna-Mathura)
Train No. 19307 Indore-Chandigarh Weekly Express will leave Indore o­n every Thursday at 05.35 hrs from 13/02/2014 and will reach Chandigarh at 06.45 hrs the next day. Similarly, in return direction, Train No. 19308 Chandigarh – Indore Weekly Express will leave Chandigarh o­n every Friday at 19.10 hrs from 07/02/2014 and arrive at Indore at 17.35 hrs the next day.

 The train will halt at Dewas, Ujjain, Maksi, Shajapur, Biyavara Rajgarh, Ruthiyai, Guna, Shivpuri, Gwalior, Morena, Agra Cantt., Mathura, Faridabad, Hazrat Nizamuddin, New Delhi, Panipat & Ambala Cantt. stations in both the directions.

The train will comprise of AC2 Tier, AC3 Tier, Sleeper class & II class general coaches.

The inaugural run of 19307 will be run as Train No.09307 ex Indore at 22.30 hrs on Tuesday, 04/02/2014. It will reach Chandigarh at 02.15 hrs o­n third day. The regular run of Train No.19307 will commence from 13th February, 2014.

The booking of inaugural train No.09307 is open while booking for regular run of 19307 will open from 31st January, 2014.

Frequency of Visakhapatnam – Mumbai LTT- Visakhapatnam Express Increased

Tr. No. 18519/18520 Visakhapatnam-Mumbai LTT-Visakhapatnam Express will be increased from 4 days in a week to daily.

Accordingly, Train No. 18519 Visakhapatnam-Mumbai LTT Express will depart Visakhapatnam on all days with effect from 30th January, 2014.

         In the return direction, Train No. 18520 Mumbai LTT-Visakhapatnam Express will depart Mumbai LTT on all days with effect from 1st February, 2014.

AC SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN MUMBAI-NEW DELHI

For the convenience of passengers and to clear extra rush, Western Railway will run a special train from Mumbai Central to New Delhi on 26th January, 2014 only for the benefit of passengers.

Mumbai Central–New Delhi AC Superfast special train (on Sunday 26th January only )

Train no 09001 Mumbai Central-New Delhi AC Superfast special train will depart from Mumbai Central at 19.45 hrs on 26th January, 2014 only and reach New Delhi at 17.35 hrs on the next day.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Hindaun City, Bharatpur & Mathura Jn stations.

The train will have AC First Class, AC II Tier & AC III Tier Coaches.

The booking of 09001 will open o­n Saturday, 25th January, 2014.

Special between and Hapa - Raipur

Railways will run 09536/09535 Hapa-Raipur-Hapa Special weekly train for the benefit of passengers.  
Train No. 09536 Hapa - Raipur Special Weekly train will depart o­n 28th January, 2014 (Tuesday) at 22.00 hrs from Hapa and will reach Raipur at 03.00 hrs o­n third day i.e Thursday. Similarly, Train No. 09535 Raipur- Hapa Special Weekly train will depart on 30th January, 2014 (Thursday) at 04.10 hrs from Raipur and will reach Hapa at 15.25 hrs. the next day.

The train will halt at Rajkot, Wankaner, Surendranagar, Ahmedabad, Anand, Vadodara, Surat, Nandurbar, Jalgaon, Bhusawal, Malkapur, Akola, Badnera Jn, Wardha Jn, Nagpur, Gondia, Rajnandgaon and Durg stations in both directions.

The train will have AC II,  AC III tier, Sleeper Class and General II class coaches.

Booking for train No. 09536 will be opened from 26/01/14

New Train Introduce between Rajkot-Delhi Sarai Rohilla

Western Railway is going to introduce new train No.19579/19580 Rajkot – Delhi Sarai Rohilla Weekly Express .

Train No. 19579 Rajkot - Delhi Sarai Rohilla Weekly Express will leave Rajkot on every Thursday at 12.50 hrs from 30/01/2014 and will reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 10.15 hrs the next day. Similarly, in return direction, Train No. 19580 Delhi Sarai Rohilla – Rajkot will leave Delhi Sarai Rohilla on every Friday at 13.10 hrs from 31/01/2014 and arrive at Rajkot at 10.35 hrs the next day.

The train will halt at Wankaner, Surendranagar, Viramgam, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi Road, Falna, Marwar Jn, Beawer, Ajmer, Kishengarh, Phulera, Jaipur, Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui, Alwar, Khartal, Rewari, Gurgaon and Delhi Cantt. stations in both the directions.

The train will comprise of AC2 Tier, AC3 Tier, Sleeper class & II class general coaches.

Special Trains between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, two Special Trains will be run between Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad and as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 08501 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19 05 hrs on 24th January, 2014 (Friday) and arrive Secunderabad at 07 50 hrs on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 08502 Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 16 30 hrs on 25th January 2014 (Saturday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06 45 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajamundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Khammam, Warangal and Kazipet, stations in both directions.

These special trains will have 20 coaches viz, one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, nine Sleeper Class, Six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum brake van Coaches.

RAILWAY EXTENDS THE RUN OF KOCHUVELI- H.NIZAMUDDIN A.C. SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN

For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush, Railway has decided to extend the run of Special train No. 04093 Kochuveli-  H.Nizamuddin Special A.C. Superfast express (01 trip) as per the following programme :-

The 04093 Kochuveli- H.Nizamuddin A.C. Superfast Express Special train will depart from Kochuveli on 02.02.2014 (01 trip) at 11.00 p.m.(Night) to reach Hazrat Nizamuddin at 06.05 a.m. on the fourth day.

Consisting of one A.C. First Class, Five A.C. 2 Tier & Ten A.C. 3 Tier coaches, the 04093 Kochuveli-  H.Nizamuddin A.C. Superfast Express  Special train will stop at Quilon, Kayankulam, Mavelikara, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrisur, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode,  Vadakara, Thalassery, Kannur, Payyanur, Kanhanged, Kasaragod, Mangalore Jn., Udipi, Karwar, Madgaon, Karmali, Thivim, Ratnagiri, Chiplum, Roha, Panvel, Vasai Road, Vapi,  Surat, Vadodara, Dahod, Ratlam, Kota and Mathura stations enroute. 

TEMPORARY STOPPAGE FOR VAIGAI EXPRESS AT SHOLAVANDAN

The Chennai Egmore – Madurai – Chennai Egmore Vaigai express trains have been provided temporary stoppage at Sholavandan railway station on an experimental basis for a period of six months.

1. T.No.12635 Chennai Egmore – Madurai Vaigai Express leaving Chennai Egmore from 25.01.2014 to 24.07.2014.   Arr./Dep. at  Sholavandan - 20.37/20.38 hrs.

 2. T.No.12636 Madurai - Chennai Egmore Vaigai Express leaving Madurai from 25.01.2014 to 24.07.2014.               Arr./Dep. at  Sholavandan - 07.04/07.05 hrs.

SPECIAL TRAIN FROM CHENNAI CENTRAL TO SANTRAGACHI

To clear the extra rush of passengers, a fully air-conditioned superfast special train will be run from Chennai Central to Santragachi on 18.01.2014.

Train No.02808 Chennai Central – Santragachi AC Superfast Special will leave Chennai Central at 07.55 hrs. on 18.01.2014, Saturday and arrive Santragachi at 10.25 hrs. the next day.The composition of the train will be 1 AC First Class, 4 AC 2-tier and 10 AC 3-tier coaches.

The train will stop at Sullurupeta, Gudur, Nellore, Ongole, Vijayawada, Tadepalligudam, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur.

Advance reservations for the above train will commence on 17.01.2014.

Special Trains between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, two Special Trains will be run between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 08502 Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 16 30 hrs on 18th January 2014 (Saturday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06 45 hrs on the next day.

In the opposite direction, Train No. 08501 Visakhapatnam  -  Secunderabad Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19 05 hrs on 17th January, 2014 (Friday)and arrive Secunderabad at 07 50 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajamundry, Sakalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both directions.

These special trains will have 20 coaches viz, one AC II Tier, two AC III Tier, nine Sleeper Class, Six General Second Class and two Luggage cum brake van Coaches.

NEW BI-WEEKLY AC TRAIN BETWEEN SANTRAGACHHI (KOLKATA) & CHENNAI

As announced in last Railway Budget for running of a bi-weekly AC Express train towards Chennai from Santragachhi (Kolkata), Ministry of Railways has decided to introduce Santragachhi-Chennai AC Express w.e.f. 15th January 2014 from Santragachhi.

22807 Santragachhi-Chennai Central bi-weekly AC Express will leave Santragachhi at 1900 hrs on every Tuesday & Friday and will arrive at Chennai Central at 2245 hrs on every Wednesday & Saturdays. In the return direction, 22808 Chennai Central-Santragachhi bi-weekly AC Express will leave Chennai Central at 0745 hrs on every Thursday & Sunday and will arrive at Santragachhi at 1025 hrs on every Friday & Monday.

This train has one AC First Class, Four AC-2 tiers, Ten AC-3 tiers, Two Guard cum Generator Van and one Pantry Car in its composition  having stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Vijayawada, o­ngole, Nellore & Gudur between Santragachhi & Chennai Central.

The inaugural run of this train will commence from Santragachhi o­n 15th January 2014. However, the regular service of this train will commence w.e.f. 21st January 2014 from Santragachhi and w.e.f. 23rd January 2014 from Chennai Central.

ADDITIONAL STOPPAGE TO LUCKNOW-VARANASI INTERCITY EXPRESS AT SURIAWAN

For the convenience of rail passengers, Northern Railways has decided to provide additional stoppage to the train no 14203/14204 Varanasi- Lucknow- Varanasi Intercity express at Suriawan station from 15.01.2014 on experimental basis for 6 months as per following programme:-

The 14203 Varanasi- Lucknow Intercity express train will arrive at Suriawan station at 05.20 p.m while in the return direction, the 14204 Lucknow- Varanasi Intercity express train will arrive at Suriawan station at 11.50 noon with one minute stoppage in both the directions.

Augmentation of AC 3- Tier Coach by ECoR

With a view to avoiding rush in regular trains and to provide comfortable journey to the passengers, East Coast Railway has decided to increase the composition of Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Hirakud Express permanently with immediate effect.

18507/18508   Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express via Bhubaneswar & Sambalpur will be augmented with o­ne AC 3 Tier Coach permanently with immediate effect from both the directions. Now the train will run with o­ne AC-2 tier coach, Two AC-3 tier Coaches, 10 Sleeper Class Coaches, Five General Second Class Coaches, Two Guard cum Luggage Vans and one Pantry Car in it’s composition.

Similarly, 12807 Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Samata Express via Rayagada & Titlagarh will also be augmented with o­ne AC 3 Tier Coach permanently with immediate effect from both the directions. Now the train will run with o­ne AC-2 tier coach, Two AC-3 tier Coaches, Nine Sleeper Class Coaches, Three General Second Class Coaches, Two Guard cum Luggage Vans and one Pantry Car in it’s composition.

Apart from this, Railways have also decided to augment one AC-3 tier coach each permanently in 18509/18510 Visakhapatnam-Nanded-Visakhapatnam Express and Visakhapatnam-Nizamuddin-Visakhapatnam Express with immediate effect.

INTRODUCTION OF NEW WEEKLY EXPRESS TRAIN BETWEEN KOTA- JAMMU TAWI

For the convenience of rail passengers, Railway has decided to introduce the train No. 19803/19804 Kota- Jammu Tawi- Kota Weekly Express as per the following programme :-

The 19803 Kota- Jammu Tawi Weekly Express train will depart from Kota at 3.00 p.m. from 11.1.2014 on every Saturday to reach Jammu Tawi at 1.10 p.m. the next day.  In the return direction, the 19804 Jammu Tawi- Kota Weekly Express train will depart from Jammu Tawi  at 11.45 p.m. from 12.1.2014 on every Sunday to reach Kota at 10.35 p.m. the next  day.

Consisting of one AC 2 Tier, two AC 3 Tier,  6 Sleeper Class, 6 General Class & 2 disabled friendly 2nd Class Cum luggage Van coaches,  the 19803/19804 Kota- Jammu Tawi- Kota Weekly Express train will stop at Indergarh Sumerganj Mandi, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Hindon City, Bayana, Bharatpur, Mathura, Faridabad, New Delhi, Bahadurgarh, Rohtak, Jind, Narwana, Tohana, Jakhal, Sangrur, huri, Malerkotla, Ludhiana, Phillaur, Phagwara, Jallandhar Cantt., Mukerian, Pathankot Cantt., Kathua & Samba stations enroute in both the directions.

Special Trains between Secunderabad and Gudur

South Central Railway has announced Sankranthi Special trains between Secunderabad and Gudur o­n 11th& 12th January, 2014 (vide SCR PR No. 567 dated 4th January, 2014). These special trains will run as Secunderabad-Gudur-Secunderabad Garibrath Sankranthi Special Trains with AC III Tier Accommodation.

The schedule of the trains as follows:
Train No. 02710 Secunderabad-Gudur Garibrath Sankranthi Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 11 00 hrs on 11th January, 2014 (Saturday) and arrive Gudur at 21 40 hrs on the same day.

In the return direction, Train No.02709 Gudur-Secunderabad Garibrath Sankranthi Special train will depart Gudur at 00 40 hrs on 12th January, 2014 (Sunday) and arrive Secunderabad at 11 30 hrs on the same day.

 Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, New Guntur, Tenali, o­ngole and Nellore stations in both directions.  These trains will consist of 16 Coaches viz., fourteen AC III Tier and two Power Car / Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

Note: Advance reservation for these trains will open at 08 00 hrs o­n 7th January, 2014.

EXTENSION OF RUN OF SPECIAL TRAINS

09707/09708  Jaipur – Lucknow Jn. - Jaipur Tri Weekly Express special (14 Trips)
The 09707  Jaipur – Lucknow Jn. special will depart from Jaipur at 9.45 p.m. from 17.1.2014 to 31.1.2014  ( 07 trips ) on every Tuesday, Friday & Sunday to reach Lucknow Jn. at 10.25 a .m. the next day.  While in the return direction the 09708 Lucknow Jn. – Jaipur  will depart from Lucknow Jn.  at 12.25 p.m. o­n every Wednesday, Saturday and Monday from 18.1.2014 to 01.2.2014  ( 07 trips )  to reach Jaipur at 1.45 a .m. the next  day.

Consisting of one AC 2 Tier, two AC 3 Tier,  6 Sleeper Class & 6 General 2nd Cum luggage Van coaches,  the 09707/09708 Jaipur – Lucknow Jn. - Jaipur  special will stop at Gandhinagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandhiqui, Kheril, Nadbi, Bharatpur Jn., Achhnera Jn.,  Mathur Jn., Mathura Cantt. Hatras City, Kasganj, Farrukhabad, Kannauj, Kanpur Anwarganj & Kanpur City stations enroute in both the directions.

09021/09022 JammuTawi-Bandra(T)-JammuTawi Weekly Superfast Special Train (04 trips)
The 09021 Bandra Terminus-Jammu Tawi Weekly Superfast Special train will depart from Bandra Terminus o­n 6.1.2014 & 13.1.2014( both Monday) (02 trips) at 04.50 p.m. to reach Jammu Tawi at 01.15 a.m. the third day i.e. Wednesday. In the return direction, the 09022 Jammu Tawi-Bandra Terminus Weekly Superfast Special trains will depart from Jammu Tawi  on 8.1.2014 & 15.1.2014 (02 trips) (both Wednesday) at 07.25 a.m. to reach Bandra Terminus at 04.35 p.m. the next day i.e. Thursday.

 Consisting of one AC II Tier, one AC II Tier cum AC III Tier, one AC III Tier, seven sleeper class, six general class, two disabled friendly second class cum luggage van coaches, the 09021/09022 Jammu Tawi-Bandra Terminus-Jammu Tawi Weekly Superfast Special train will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Dahod,  Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Hindaun City,  Bharatpur, Mathura Jn., Tughlakabad, Delhi Safderjung , Panipat, Ambala Catt.,  Ludhiana, Jalandhar Cantt. &   Pathankot stations enroute in both directions. 

STOPPAGE TO THE PASSENGER TRAINS AT GHUGRANA HALT

For the convenience of Rail Passengers, Northern Railway has decided to provide additional stoppage to 54053 Jakhal- Ludhiana passenger, 54633/54634 Sirsa- Ludhiana- Sirsa passenger & 54606 Ludhiana- Hisar passenger Trains at Ghugrana Halt station with immediate effect as per the under-mentioned programme:-

The 54053 Jakhal- Ludhiana passenger, 54633 Sirsa- Ludhiana passenger,  54634 & 54606 Ludhiana- Hisar passenger Trains will arrive at Ghugrana Halt station at 07.50 am, 06.06 pm, 06.10 a.m. & 05.49 pm respectively with one minute stoppage.

DEMU Special Trains between Bidar and Secunderabad

Train No. 07014 Bidar-Secunderabad DEMU Special Train will depart Bidar at 21 50 hrs on 4th, 8th, 11th, 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th, 29th January and 1st February, 2014 (Wed, Sat) and arrive Secunderabad at 02 15 hrs on the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.07013 Secunderabad-Bidar DEMU Special Train will depart Secunderabad 00 45 hrs on 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th, 24th, 27th and 31st January, 2014 (Mon, Fri) and arrive Bidar at 04 55 hrs on the same day.

 Enroute, these DEMU special trains will stop at Metal Kunta, Zahirabad, Kohir Deccan, Marpalli, Sadasivapet Road, Vikarabad, Lingampalli and Begumpet Stations in both directions.

Additional Coaches to Several Express Trains

South Central Railway will temporarily augment the following express trains with additional Coaches to clear the extra rush / waitlisted passengers of Sankranthi festival as per the details mentioned below:-

1.   Tr.No. 17049 Machilipatnam - Secunderabad Express will be augmented with one additional AC III Tier Coach from 4th Jan to 20th Jan 2014.

2.  Tr.No. 17050 Secunderabad - Machilipatnam Express will be augmented with one additional AC III Tier Coach from 5th Jan to 21st Jan 2014.

3. Tr.No. 17209 Bangalore-Kakinada Town Seshadri Express will be augmented with o­ne additional AC III Tier Coach from 4thJan to 20th Jan 2014.

4. Tr.No. 17210 Kakinada Town-Bangalore Seshadri Express will be augmented with one additional AC III Tier Coach from 5th Jan to 21st Jan 2014.

5. Tr.No. 17603 Kacheguda-Yesvantpur Prashanthi Nilayam Express will be augmented with one additional Sleeper Class Coach from 5thJan to 20th Jan 2014.

6. Tr.No. 17604 Yesvantpur-Kacheguda Prashanthi Nilayam Express will be augmented with one additional Sleeper Class Coach from 6th Jan to 21st Jan 2014.

7. Tr.No. 17652 Kacheguda-Chennai Egmore Express will be augmented with one additional Sleeper Class Coach from 5th Jan to 20th Jan 2014.

8. Tr.No. 17651 Chennai Egmore-Kacheguda Express will be augmented with one additional Sleeper Class Coach from 8th Jan to 23rd Jan 2014.

9. Tr.No. 17643 Chennai Egmore-Kakinada Port Circar Express will be augmented with one additional Sleeper Class Coach from 6thJan to 21st Jan 2014.

10. Tr.No. 17644 Kakinada Port-Chennai Egmore Circar Express will be augmented with one additional Sleeper Class Coach from 7thJan to 22nd Jan 2014.

11.  Tr.No. 17401 Tirupati-Machilipatnam Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class coach from 4thJan to 20th Jan 2014.

12.  Tr.No. 17402 Machilipatnam-Tirupati Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class coach from 5th Jan to 21st Jan 2014.

13.  Tr.No. 12710 Secunderabad-Gudur Simhapuri Express will be augmented with one additional AC III Tier Coach from 4th Jan to 20th Jan 2014.

14.  Tr.No. 12709 Gudur-Secunderabad Simhapuri Express will be augmented with one additional AC III Tier Coach from 5th Jan to 21st Jan 2014.

15. Tr.No. 17058 Secunderabad-Mumbai CST Devagiri Express will be augmented with one additional AC III Tier Coach from 6th Jan to 22nd Jan 2014.

16. Tr.No. 17057 Mumbai CST-Secunderabad Devagiri Express will be augmented with one additional AC III Tier Coach from 7th Jan to 23rd Jan 2014.

Temporary Stoppage At Ghanpur Station for Two Express Trains

An additional stoppage will be provided for Tr. No. 12706/12705 Secunderabad-Guntur-Secunderabad Express and for Tr. No. 17011/17012 Hyderabad– Sirpurkagaznagar-Hyderabad Express at Ghanpur Station on Secunderabad–Kazipet section on an experimental basis for a period of six months with effect from 5th January 2014 as follows.

1.Train No. 12706 Secunderabad-Guntur Express will arrive / depart Ghanpur at 09 17 / 09 18 hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 12705 Guntur–Secunderabad Express will arrive / depart Ghanpur at 19 30 / 19 31 hrs.

2.  Train No. 17011 Hyderabad–Sirpurkagaznagar Express will arrive / depart Ghanpur at 07 10/07 11 hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 17012 Sirpurkagaznagar–Hyderabad Express will arrive / depart Ghanpur at 14 17 / 14 18 hrs.

Special Trains between Kacheguda/ Hyderabad and Kakinada Town

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during festival season, South Central Railway will run Twelve Sankranthi Special Trains between Kacheguda and Kakinada Town & Hyderabad and Kakinada Town as per the following schedule:-

1.Kacheguda - Kakinada Town – Kacheguda Sankranthi Special Train (via Guntur): (8 Services)
Train No. 07337 Kacheguda-Kakinada Town Special Train will depart Kacheguda at 23 30 hrs on 8th, 10th, 12th and 14th January, 2014 and arrive Kakinada Town at 10 15 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No.07338 Kakinada Town-Kacheguda Special train will depart Kakinada Town at 19 05 hrs on 9th, 11th, 13th and 15th January, 2014 and arrive Kacheguda at 06 45 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Malkajgiri, Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Nadikudi, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Dwarapudi and Samalkot Stations in both directions.

Train No. 07101 Hyderabad-Kakinada Town Special Train will depart Hyderabad at 23 10 hrs on 16th and 18th January, 2014 and arrive Kakinada Town at 10 00 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No.07102 Kakinada Town-Hyderabad Special train will depart Kakinada Town at 16 00 hrs on 17th and 19th January, 2014 and arrive Hyderabad at 04 05 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Dwarapudi and Samalkot Stations in both directions.

These trains will consist of 16 Coaches viz., one AC II Tier, one AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, four General Second Class and two Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

REVISE TIMINGS OF TRAIN HUBLI-SECUNDERABAD-HUBLI TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS SPECIAL

South Western Railway has decided to revise the timings of Train Nos. 17319/17320 HUBLI-SECUNDERABAD-HUBLI TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS with effect from 01st March, 2014, duly providing 10 minutes for watering for the trains at BIJAPUR, the details of station-wise revision of timings are as follows.The present timings are indicated in brackets.

Accordingly, Train No.17319 HUBLI-SECUNDERABAD TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS will depart at HUBLI on Wednesday, Friday & Sundays at 20-50 hrs.,(no change in the present timings), with effect from 01st March, 2014 and arrive at SECUNDERABAD at 11-45 hrs., (no change in present arrival timing), the next day.

En route, the Tri-Weekly Express will arrive/depart at Annigeri at 21-23/21-25 hrs. (21-08/21-10); GADAG at 22-00/22-10 hrs(21-45/21-55); Hole Alur at 22-58/23-00 hrs.(22-48/22-50 hrs; Badami at 23-18/23-20 hrs(23-09/23-11); Bagalkot at 23-55/23-57 hrs(23-46/23-48 ); Almatti at 00-42/00-44 hrs(00-33/00-35); Basavana bagewadi Road at 0105/01-07 hrs.(00-55/00-57); BIJAPUR at 02-00/02-10 hrs.(01-50/01-55); Indi Road at 02-58/03-00 hrs.(02-50/02-52) and arrive/depart at HOTGI at 04-10/04-20 hrs. instead of 04-10/04-15 hrs., with effect from 01st March, 2014.

There is no change in the existing timings at stations beyond HOTGI and SECUNDERABAD.

In the return direction, Train No.17320 SECUNDERABAD-HUBLI TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS will depart at SECUNDERABAD on Monday, Thursday & Saturdays at 16-00 hrs.( no change in the present departure timing), with effect from 01st March, 2014 and arrive at HUBLI station at 07-50 hrs.(no change in present arrival timing), the next day.

There is no change in the existing timings at stations between Secunderabad and Hotgi.

SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN YESVANTPUR-MIRAJ-YESVANTPUR

South Western Railway(SWR) has decided to run Tri-Weekly Express Specials between YESVANTPUR-MIRAJ-YESVANTPUR (TrainNo. 06517/06518) from 02nd to 16th January, 2014 from YESVANTPUR end and from 03rd to 17th January, 2014 from MIRAJ end for 07 trips in each direction, as per the following details:--

Accordingly, Train No. 06517 YESVANTPUR-MIRAJ TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS SPECIAL will depart at YESVANTPUR station at 20-40 hrs. on Sundays, Tuesdays & Thursdays from 02nd to 16th January, 2014 and arrive at MIRAJ station at 10-15 hrs., the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.06518 MIRAJ- YESVANTPUR TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS SPECIAL will depart at MIRAJ station at 16-45 hrs. on Mondays, Wednesdays & Fridays, from 03rd to 17th January, 2014 and arrive at YESVANTPUR station at 06-20 hrs., the next day.

WR EXTENDS TRIPS OF SPECIAL TRAINS

For the convenience of passengers and to clear extra rush during the winter season, Western Railway has decided to extend the trips of special trains for the benefit of passengers.

Train No.04738 Valsad - Bikaner Weekly Special train will depart at 19.40 hrs on every Tuesday from Valsad and reach Bikaner at 17.00 hrs the next day. This train is extended up to 14th January, 2014. Similarly, Train No. 04737 Bikaner – Valsad Weekly Special will leave from Bikaner o­n every Monday at 20.40 hrs. arriving Valsad at 16.30 hrs. the next day.This train is extended upto 13th January, 2014.

Temporary Stoppages for Guruvayur-Punalur trains

The Guruvayur-Punalur-Guruvayur fast passenger train has been allocated stops at Mulanturutti, Kuruppantara, Cheriyanad, Perinad, Kilikollur, and Kuri Halt on an experimental basis for a period of six months from January 1 to June 30.

The Madurai division of Railways said Train No. 56365 Guruvayur-Punalur fast passenger would arrive at Mulanturutti at 08.23 a.m. and leave at 08.24 a.m., reach Kuruppantara at 08.50 a.m. and leave at 08.51 a.m., arrive at Cheriyanad at 10.24 a.m. and leave at 10.25 a.m., reach Perinad at 11.19 a.m. and leave at 11.20 a.m., reach Kilikollur at 12.59 p.m. and leave at 1 p.m., and arrive at Kuri Halt at 1.59 p.m. and leave at 2 p.m..

Train No. 56366 Punalur-Guruvayur fast passenger will arrive at Kuri Halt at 5.17 p.m. and leave at 5.18 p.m., reach Kilikollur at 6.06 p.m. and leave at 6.07 p.m., arrive at Perinad at 7.17 p.m. and leave at 7.18 p.m., reach Cheriyanad at 8.15 p.m. and leave at 8.16 p.m., reach Kuruppantara at 9.29 p.m. and leave at 9.30 p.m., and reach Mulanturutti at 9.54 p.m. and leave at 9.55 p.m..

As a result of the additional halts, the timings of these two trains will be revised between Kollam and Punalur with effect from January 1. The Guruvayur-Punalur train will arrive at Kollam at 12.35 p.m. instead of 12.25 p.m. and depart at 12.50 p.m. instead of 12.35 p.m. The train will arrive at Punalur at 3 p.m. instead of 2.30 p.m.

The Punalur-Guruvayur train will leave Punalur at 5 p.m. instead of 5.30 p.m. and arrive at Kollam at 6.50 p.m. instead of 7.05 p.m. and leave Kollam at 7.05 p.m. instead of 7.10 p.m

II AC coaches in YUVA Exp

For the convenience and comfort of passengers, Western Railway has decided to augment TWO II -Tier AC coaches in Yuva Express on permanent basis. This train runs between Bandra (T) and H. Nizammudin. The train will run with augmented coaches from 03.01.14 Ex Bandra (T) and 05.01.14 Ex-Nizammudin. Now train will run with 18 coaches.

The booking for augmented coaches will start from 3rd January, 2014.

South Central Railway will temporarily augment the following Ten Express Trains with additional Coaches to clear the extra rush / waitlisted passengers as per the details mentioned below:-

1.Train No. 17018 Secunderabad - Rajkot Express (Monday, Tuesday & Saturday) will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach from 4th January, 2014 to 1st February, 2014.

2.Train No. 17017 Rajkot - Secunderabad Express (Monday, Wednesday &Thursday) will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach from 6th January, 2014 to 3rd February, 2014.

3.Train No. 17002 Secunderabad – Sainagar Shirdi Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach on 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st January, 2014 (Fridays).

4.Train No. 17001 Sainagar Shirdi - Secunderabad Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach on 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th January and 1st February, 2014 (Saturdays).

5.Train No. 12770 Secunderabad – Tirupati Seven hills Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach and two Sleeper Class Coaches on 3rd, 7th, 10th, 14th, 17th, 21st, 24th, 28th and 31st January, 2014 (Tuesdays and Fridays).

6.Train No. 12769 Tirupati - Secunderabad Seven hills Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach and two Sleeper Class Coaches on 6th, 10th, 13th, 17th, 20th, 24th,  27th  & 31st  January and 3rd  February, 2014 (Mondays and Fridays).

7.Train No. 12761 Tirupati - Karimnagar Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach and two Sleeper Class Coaches on 4th, 8th, 11th, 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th& 29th January and 1st February, 2014 (Wednesdays and Saturdays).

8.Train No. 12762  Karimnagar - Tirupati Express will be augmented with one AC III Tier Coach and two Sleeper Class Coaches on 5th, 9th, 12th, 16th, 19th, 23rd, 26th & 30th  January and 2nd February, 2014 (Thursdays and Sundays).

9.Train No. 17064 Secunderabad – Manmad Ajanta Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class Coach from 1st to 31st January, 2014.

10.Train No. 17063 Manmad - Secunderabad Ajanta Express will be augmented with one Sleeper Class Coach from 2nd January to 1st February, 2014.

Special Trains between Aurangabad and Tirupati & Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during festival season, South Central Railway will run Ten Sankranthi Special Trains between Aurangabad and Tirupati & Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam as per the following schedule:-

1.Aurangabad-Tirupati Sankranthi Special Train: (8 Services)
Train No. 07405 Aurangabad-Tirupati Special Train will depart Aurangabad at 18 40 hrs on 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st January, 2014 (Fridays) and arrive Tirupati at 19 00 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No.07406 Tirupati-Aurangabad Special train will depart Tirupati at 21 15 hrs on 11th, 18th, 25th January and 1st February, 2014 (Saturdays) and arrive Aurangabad at 20 30 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Jalna, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudhked, Basar, Nizambad, Kamareddi, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasti and Renigunta Stations in both directions.

These trains will consist of 15 Coaches viz., one AC Three Tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

2.Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam AC Superfast Sankranthi Special Train (via Warangal, Vijayawada): (2 Services)
Train No. 02740 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 22 10 hrs o­n 12th January 2014 (Sunday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10 35 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 02739 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19 05 hrs on 13th January 2014 (Monday) and arrive Secunderabad at  07 50 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajamundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both directions.

These special trains will have 16 coaches viz, one Ist AC, two AC II Tier, eleven AC III Tier and two Power Car Coaches.
