WR's Summer Special Trains

  To clear extra rush in regular trains during forthcoming Summer Vacations and to ensure better convenience to the passengers, Western Railway has planned 286 services of 12 Summer Special trains to various destinations w.e.f. 1st April, 2015. Out of these 12 special trains, 6 are from Mumbai, 3 from Ahmedabad, 2 from Surat and o­ne from Indore. Destinations of these trains are 3 for Patna i.e. o­ne from Ahmedabad, Indore & Surat respectively, 3 for Uttar Pradesh from Mumbai and o­ne from Ahmedabad. o­ne special train is between Mumbai and Delhi and o­ne between Ahmedabad and Delhi. o­ne train is between Mumbai and Gandhidham and other is between Mumbai and Jodhpur. o­ne more train for Bihar is between Surat and Chhapra.

Booking for first few trips of these trains is already opened and for remaining trips, booking will be opened 15 days prior to the date of journey as per Advance Reservation Period o­nly through IRCTC's website.

Mumbai Central- Lucknow Jn (Weekly) Premium AC SuperFast Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09013 Mumbai Central - Lucknow Weekly Premium AC Super Fast Special train will leave Mumbai Central at 20.35 hrs o­n every Thursday and will reach Lucknow at 20.35 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 02nd April to 25th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09014 Lucknow - Mumbai Central Weekly Premium AC Super Fast Special train will leave Lucknow at 22.45 hrs o­n every Friday and reach Mumbai Central at 23.05 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 03rdApril to 26th June, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier & Pantry Car.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Jhansi and Kanpur Central stations in both directions.

Bandra(T)-Jodhpur (Weekly) Super Fast AC Premium Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09043 Bandra (T)- Jodhpur Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Bandra (T) at 23.55 hrs o­n every Monday and will reach Jodhpur at 16.20 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 6th April to 29th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09044 Jodhpur - Bandra (T) Weekly Premium AC Super Fast Special train will leave Jodhpur at 11.20 hrs o­n every Wednesday and reach Bandra (T) at 04.15 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 8th April to 1st July, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier Coaches & Pantry Car.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Ahmedabad, Falna and Pali Marwar stations in both directions.

Bandra(T)-Gorakhpur (Weekly) Premium Super Fast Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09015 Bandra (T)- Gorakhpur Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Bandra (T) at 05.10 hrs o­n every Sunday and will reach Gorakhpur at 14.40 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 5th April to 28th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09016 Gorakhpur - Bandra (T) Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Gorakhpur at 07.00 hrs o­n every Tuesday and reach Bandra (T) at 17.35 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 7th April to 30th June, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class Coaches & Pantry Car.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Kota, Kanpur Central and Lucknow stations in both directions.

Bandra(T)- Allahabad Weekly Special Train (28 services)

Train No. 09017 Bandra (T)- Allahabad Weekly Special train will leave Bandra (T) at 04.45 hrs o­n every Thursday and reach Allahabad Jn at 08.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 2nd April to 2nd July, 2015.          

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09018 Allahabad - Bandra (T) Weekly Special train will leave Allahabad at 10.25 hrs o­n every Friday and reach Bandra (T) at 16.10 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 3rd April to 3rd July, 2015.          

The train has AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class and Second Class General Coaches.

Bandra(T) – Gandhidham - Bandra(T) Weekly “Premium Super Fast” Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09455 Bandra(T) - Gandhidham Premium Superfast Weekly Special train will depart Bandra(T) at 16:00 hrs o­n every Thursday from 02nd April, 2015 to 25th June, 2015 and reach Gandhidham at 06.00 hrs the next day.

Similarly, Train No. 09456 Gandhidham – Bandra(T)  Premium Superfast Weekly Special train will depart Gandhidham  at 22.05  hrs  o­n every Wednesday from 01st April, 2015 to 24th June, 2015 and will arrive Bandra(T) at 11.15  hrs the next day.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Second Class Sleeper Coaches.

Enroute the train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Samakhiali stations in both directions.

Mumbai Central-New Delhi (Tri-Weekly) Premium AC Super Fast Special Train(14  services)

Train No. 22913 Mumbai Central – New Delhi Tri-Weekly Premium AC Superfast Special train departing Mumbai Central at 16:00 hrs o­n Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and reaching New Delhi at 08.00 hrs the next day is further extended upto 15th April, 2015. The extended trips are from 1st April, 2015 to 15th April, 2015.

Similarly, Train No. 22914 New Delhi - Mumbai Central Tri-Weekly Premium AC Superfast Special train departing New Delhi at 14.45 hrs o­n Thursday, Saturday and Monday and arriving Mumbai Central at 06.55 hrs the next day is further extended upto 16th April, 2015. The extended trips are from 2nd April, 2015 to 16th April, 2015.

The train has AC II Tier, AC III Tier & Pantry car.

Enroute train halts o­nly at Vadodara and Kota stations.

Surat - Chhapra (Weekly) Premium Super Fast Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09051 Surat - Chhapra Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Surat at 06.10 hrs o­n every Saturday and will reach Chhapra at 10.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 4th April to 27th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09052 Chhapra - Surat Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Chhapra at 13.25 hrs o­n every Sunday and reach Surat at 16.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 5th April to 28th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09056 Patna - Surat Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Patna at 14.55 hrs o­n every Wednesday and reach Surat at 19.55 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 8th April to 1st July, 2015.

Train No. 09417 Ahmedabad-Delhi Sarai Rohilla (Tri-weekly) Premium AC Superfast Special train will depart from Ahmedabad at 16.10 hrs o­n every Tuesday, Friday & Sunday and reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 06.50 hrs. o­n its respective  next day. This train will run from 3rd April to 14th April, 2015.

Similarly, Train No. 09418 Delhi Sarai Rohilla - Ahmedabad (Tri-Weekly) Premium AC   Superfast Special train will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 16.15 hrs o­n every Wednesday, Saturday & Monday   and reach Ahmedabad at 07.00 hrs o­n its respective next day. This train will run from 4th April to 15th April, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier and AC III Tier Coaches and pantry car.

The train will halt at Palanpur, Abu Road, Ajmer, Jaipur and Gurgaon stations in both directions.

Ahmedabad – Patna – Ahmedabad (Weekly)  Superfast Premium Special Train (via Anand, Godhra) ( 26 services)

Train No. 09411 Ahmedabad - Patna Weekly Superfast Premium Special train will leave from Ahmedabad at 11.50 hrs every Thursday from 02nd April, 2015 to 25th June, 2015 and will reach Patna at 16.10 hrs the next day (Friday).

Similarly, Train No. 09412 Patna - Ahmedabad Weekly Superfast Premium Special train will leave Patna at 20.30 hrs every Friday from 03rd April, 2015 to 26th June, 2015 and will reach Ahmedabad at 01.50 hrs o­n third day (Sunday).

The train will have AC 2 Tier, AC 3 Tier, Second Class Sleeper coaches.

This train will halt at Ratlam, Kota, Kanpur Central, Allahabad and Mughalsarai stations in both directions.

Ahmedabad – Allahabad – Ahmedabad Weekly Premium Superfast Special Train(26 services)

Train No.09421 Ahmedabad - Allahabad Weekly Premium Superfast Special train will leave Ahmedabad every Sunday at 14.10 hrs to reach Allahabad at 16.40 hrs the next day. This train will run from 05thApril, 2015 to 28th June, 2015.

Similarly, Train No. 09422 Allahabad - Ahmedabad Weekly Premium Superfast Special train will depart Allahabad every Monday at 21.05 hrs to reach Ahmedabad at 23.55 hrs the next day (Tuesday). This train will run from 06th April, 2015 to 29th June, 2015.

The train will have AC II tier, AC III tier, Second Class Sleeper Coaches.

The train will halt at Vadodara, Surat, Bhusaval, Jabalpur and Satna stations in both directions.

Indore – Patna Weekly Premium Superfast Special Train  (26 services)

Train No. 09305 Indore - Patna Weekly Premium Superfast Special train will depart from Indore at 14.00 hrs o­n every Sunday and reach Patna at 13.20 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 05th April to 28th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09306 Patna - Indore Weekly Premium Superfast Special train will depart from Patna at 17.15 hrs o­n every Monday and reach Indore at 15.45 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 06th April to 29th June, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Second class Sleeper Coaches and Pantry car.

The train will halt at Ujjain, Katni, Satna, Chheoki and Mughalsarai stations in both directions. 

SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN BANDRA (T) & ALLAHABAD

In order to clear extra rush of passenger traffic during forth coming Summer Vacation it has been decided to extend run of special train between Bandra Terminus – Allahabad.


Train No. 09017 Bandra(T) - Allahabad Weekly Special train scheduled to depart from Bandra(T) at 04.45 hrs o­n every Thursday and to reach Allahabad at 08.50 hrs the next day is further extended upto 2nd July, 2015. This train will now run from 2nd  April, 2015 to 2nd  July, 2015.

Similarly, Train No. 09018 Allahabad – Bandra(T) Weekly Special train scheduled to depart Allahabad at 10.25 hrs o­n every Friday and to arrive Bandra(T) at 16.10 hrs the next day is further extended upto 3rdJuly, 2015. This train will now run from 3rd  April, 2015 to 3rd  July, 2015.

The train has AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class and Second Class General Coaches.

SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN PUNE AND KAMAKHYA

Central Railway has decided to run 26 Superfast weekly summer special trains between Pune to Kamakhya to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under:

Train No. 02512 Summer Special will leave Kamakhya at 2205 hrs o­n every Monday from 6.4.2015 to 29.6.2015 (13 trips) and will arrive Pune at 0245 hrs o­n Thursday.

Train No. 02511 Summer Special will leave Pune at 1030 hrs o­n every Thursday from 9.4.2015 to 2.7.2015 (13 trips) and will arrive Kamakhya at 1525 hrs o­n Saturday.

HALTS: Goalpara Town, New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Malda Town, Rampurhat, Andal, Asansol, Joychandipahar Jn, Purulia, Chakradharpur, Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Bilaspur, Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Bhusaval and Panvel.

Special trains between Yesvantpur – Ernakulam Jn.

Train No.01665 Yesvantpur – Ernakulam Jn. special train will leave Yesvantpur at 23.30 hrs. o­n 02.04.2015 & 30.04.2015 (Thursdays) and reach Ernakulam Jn. at 11.55 hrs. the next day.

Train No.01666 Ernakulam Jn. – Yesvantpur special train will leave Ernakulam Jn. at 14.55 hrs. o­n 03.04.2015 & 01.05.2015 (Fridays) and reach Yesvantpur at 03.30 hrs.the next day.

The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 11 sleeper class, 4 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

The trains will stop at Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Ottapalam, Thrissur and Aluva.  Train No.01665 Yesvantpur – Ernakulam Jn. special train will stop at Ernakulam Town also.

S E RAILWAY TO RUN 65 PAIRS OF SUMMER SPECIALS

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during the summer, S E Railway has decided to run 65 pairs of Summer Specials towards different directions o­n nominated days during the period from 1st Aprilto 29thJune, 2015. Out of the total, 26 pairs will run as Superfast Jansadharan Special between Santragachi and Chennai Central, 13 pairs Superfast Specials between Santragachi and New Jalpaiguri and 13 pairs each between Ranchi-Varanasi and Tata-Visakhapatnam.

SANTRAGACHI-NEW JALPAIGURI SUPERFAST SPECIAL

13 pairs of specials will run beween Santragachi and New Jalpaiguri o­n different nominated days during the period from 05.04.2015 to 28.06.2015.

08047 Santragachi-New Jalpaiguri Weekly Superfast Specialwill leave Santragachi every Sunday at 10:25 hours and will reach New Jalpaiguri at 20:25 hours o­n the same day. In the return direction, 08048 New Jalpaiguri-Santragachi Weekly Superfast Special will leave New Jalpaiguri every Sunday at 23:00 hours and will reach Santragachi at 9:00 hours o­n the next day. The train will have o­ne AC 2 Tier, three AC 3 Tier, nine Sleeper Class, three General Second Class coaches and two luggage vans.

SANTRAGACHI-CHENNAI SUPERFAST JANASADHARAN SPECIAL

26 pairs of Janasadharan Specials will run beween Santragaachi and Chennai Central o­n different nominated days during the period from 01.04.2015 to 29.06.2015. 02807 Santragachi-Chennai Bi-weekly Superfast Janasadharan Special will leave Santragachi at 19:00 hours every Wednesday and Saturday and will reach Chennai Central at 23:45 hours every Thursday and Sunday. In the return direction, 02808 Chennai-Santragachi Bi-weekly Superfast Janasadharan Special will leave Chennai Central at 7:55 hoursevery Friday and Monday and will reach Santragachi at 10:25 hoursevery Saturday and Tuesday. The train will have sixteen General Second Class Coaches and two Luggage Vans.

TATANAGAR-VISAKHAPATNAM SPECIAL

13 pairs of Summer Special will run between Tatanagar and Visakhapatam o­n different nominated days from 03/4/2015 to 27/6/2015. The Special will leave Tatanagar every Friday at 13:00 hours as Train No.08189. In the return direction, the Special will leave Visakhapatnam at 17:45 hours every Saturday as Train No.08190.

RANCHI-VARANASI SPECIAL

13 pairs of Special Trains will run between Ranchi-Varanasi o­n different nominated days from 04/4/2015 to 28/6/2015. The Special will depart Ranchi at 11:35 hours every Saturday as Train No.08181. In the return trip, the Special will leave Varanasi at 04:00 hours every Sunday as Train No. 08182. 

Santragachi-New Jalpaiguri Superfast Special

Permanent Augmentation of 7 Express Trains

Central Railway will augment following express trains by o­ne additional AC-3 Tier / AC Chair Car coach o­n permanent basis with effect from the date mentioned, for the benefit of passengers. The details are as under-

a) 11069 / 11070 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Allahabad Express – o­ne AC-3 Tier coach with effect from 31.3.2015

b) 12145 / 12146 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Puri Express – o­ne AC-3 Tier coach with effect  from29.3.2015

c) 12143 / 12144 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Sultanpur Express - o­ne AC-3 Tier  coach with effect from 29.3.2015

d) 11053 / 11054 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Azamgarh Express - o­ne AC-3 Tier coach with effect from 1.4.2015.

e) 12051 / 12052 Dadar – Karmali Janshatabdi Express – o­ne AC Chair Car coach with effect from31.3.2015.

INCREASE IN ADVANCE RESERVATION PERIOD

The Ministry of Railways have decided to increase the Advance Reservation Period (ARP) for booking accommodation in trains from 60 days to 120 days (excluding the day of journey).

 Accordingly, with effect from 01st April, 2015, booking in trains from train originating stations will open and remain available for 120 days.  For instance, as o­n 01.04.2015, for trains leaving o­n 28th July, 2015, reservation can be obtained for journey commencing o­n all days between 01.04.2015 and 28.07.2015.

There will, however, be no change in the case of certain day time express trains like Taj Express, Gomti Express, special trains etc. where lower time limits for advance reservation are at present in force.  There will also be no change in the case of the limit of 360 days provided for foreign tourists. 

PREMIUM special trains between Howrah – Yesvantpur

 Train No.02863 Howrah – Yesvantpur PREMIUM special train will leave Howrah at 12.40 hrs. o­n Fridays from 03.04.2015 to 26.06.2015 and reach Yesvantpur at 23.15 hrs. o­n Saturdays.

Train No.02864 Yesvantpur –Howrah PREMIUM special train will leave Yesvantpur at 10.45 hrs. o­n Sundays from 05.04.2015 to 28.06.2015 and reach Howrah at 18.30 hrs. o­n Mondays.

The composition of the trains will be 3 AC 2-tier and 8 AC 3-tier coaches.

The trains will stop at Bhubaneswar, Vishakapatnam, Vijayawada, Renigunta and Katpadi.

Special trains between Mangalore Central - Haridwar

  Train No.06687 Mangalore Central – Haridwar superfast special train will leave Mangalore Central at 22.30 hrs. o­n 02.04.2015 (Thursday) and reach Haridwar at 19.00 hrs.on 04.04.2015 (Saturday).

Train No.06688 Haridwar – Mangalore Central superfast special train will leave Haridwar at 21.00 hrs. o­n 07.04.2015 (Tuesday) and reach Mangalore Central at 20.00 hrs.on 09.04.2015 (Thursday).

The composition of the trains will be 3 AC 3-tier, 13 sleeper class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

The trains will stop at Udupi, Kundapura, Bhatkal, Karwar, Madgaon, Ratnagiri, Panvel, Vasai Road, Vadodara, Nagda, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Nizamuddin, Meerut City and Roorkee.

Ministry of Railways have decided to introduce a New Weekly Express train between Pune and Gorakhpur via Manmad - Bina - Kanpur - Lucknow as announced by Hon'ble Minister for Railways during Railway Budget 2014. The details are as under:

Train No. 15029 weekly express will leave Gorakhpur at 17.25 hrs o­n every Thursday with effect from 26.3.2015 and arrive Pune at 04.05 hrs o­n third day.

Train No. 15030 weekly express will leave Pune at 10.45 hrs o­n every Saturday with effect from 28.3.2015 and arrive Gorakhpur at 21.55 hrs next day.

HALTS - Ahmednagar, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Habibganj, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Orai, Kanpur Central, Unnao, Lucknow (NR), Gonda, Mankapur,  Basti and Khalilabad.

Railways will run 2 reserved special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Madgaon to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under: -

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Ugadi festival, South Central Railway will run four special trains between Hyderabad – Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam as per the following schedule:-

In the return direction, Train No.02727 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 04:45 pm o­n 21st March, 2015 (Saturday) and arrive Secunderabad at 05:30 am o­n the next day.

    Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Ugadi Special

Train No. 02728 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 09:40 pm o­n 22ndMarch, 2015 (Sunday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10:25 am o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No.02727 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 04:45 pm o­n 23rd March, 2015 (Monday) and arrive Secunderabad at 05:30 am o­n the next day.

Enroute, both these Ugadi special trains will stop at Nalgonda, Miryalaguda, Nadikude, Piduguralla, Sattenapalli, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions.

3. PREMIUM Superfast special train from Nagercoil to Chennai Egmore (via. Main Line)

            Train No.00613 Nagercoil – Chennai Egmore PREMIUM superfast special train(via.Main line) will leave Nagercoil at 17.00 hrs. o­n 05.04.2015 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 07.20 hrs. the next day.

The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

            The train will stop at Tirunelveli, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Tiruchchirappalli and Thanjavur.

Advance reservation for the above train will commence o­n 21.03.2015.

4. PREMIUM superfast special train o­n 30.04.2015

            Train No.00612 Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli PREMIUM superfast special train (via.Chord line) will leave Chennai Egmore at 21.05 hrs. o­n 30.04.2015 and arrive Tirunelveli at 09.05 hrs. the next day.

            The composition of the train will be 21 Sleeper Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

            The train will stop at Tiruchchirappalli, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Satur and Kovilpatti.

Advance reservation for the above train will commence o­n 15.04.2015.

NWR to run three summer special trains

Expecting a heavy turnout of passengers during the summer vacations, the North Western Railways has decided to run three special trains. Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla, Ajmer-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Tri-Weekly Express and Bikaner-Haridwar Weekly Express will be the trains from NWR.

These three trains will run for a period of three months from April 1 to June 30.

Apart from this, the North Western Railways has decided for a temporary one-minute stoppage at Vindhyachal Station for Howrah-Jodhpur Express on the occasion of Chaitra Navratra.

The Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Special train will now be running for six days a week. It will depart from Jaipur at 8’o clock in the morning and reach Sarai Rohilla station in Delhi at 1.20 pm. On other hand, it will leave Delhi at 3.10 pm and reach Jaipur at 8.05 pm. The train will not run on Thursdays

PREMIUM SUPERFAST SUMMER SPECIAL BETWEEN SURAT AND CHHPRA

In order to cater to the extra rush of passengers during summer season, the Railway has decided to run Premium Special Train No. 09051/09052 Surat-Chhapra-Surat (Weekly) Premium “Super Fast” special train (13 trips in each direction) as per following programme:-

The 09051 Surat-Chhapra (Weekly) Premium “Super Fast” special train will depart from Surat at 06.10 a.m. o­n every Saturday from 04.04.2015 to 27.06.2015 (13 trips) to reach Chhapra at 10.50 a.m. the next day (Sunday). In the return direction, the 09052 Surat-Chhapra (Weekly) Premium “Super Fast” special train will depart from Chhapra at 01.25 p.m. o­n every Sunday from 05.04.2015 to 28.06.2015 (13  trips)  to reach Surat at 04.50 p.m. the next day (Monday).

Having two AC 2 tier, two AC 3 tier and ten sleeper accommodation besides pantry car, the train will stop at Bhusawal , Jabalpur , Chheoki , Varanasi  and Ballia stations enroute in both directions.

AUGMENTATION OF EXPRESS TRAINS

In order to cater to the extra rush of rail passengers and to enhance the passenger carrying capacity, Railway has decided to augment the train no. 11071/11072 Lokmanya Tilak T.- Varanasi- Lokmanya Tilak T. Kamayani Express o­nPermanent basis & 12501/12502 Guwahati- New Delhi- Guwahati Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express o­n Temporary basis as under:

Permanent Augmentation:

The 11071/11072 Lokmanya Tilak T.- Varanasi- Lokmanya Tilak T. Kamayani Express Train will be augmented by one additional AC 3 Tier Coach from 17.03.2015 when departing from Lokmanya Tilak T.  and from 19.03.2015 when departing from  Varanasi.

Temporary Augmentation:

The 12501/12502 Guwahati- New Delhi- Guwahati Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express Train will be augmented by one additional First AC cum AC 2 Tier Coach upto 31.03.2015 when departing from Guwahati  and upto 01.04.2015 when departing from  New Delhi with immediate effect.

Other features like route, timings, stoppages etc. will remain unchanged.

Premium superfast speical train between BDTS-Jodhpur and Surat-Patna ansd Surat-Chhapra

To clear extra rush during summer vacations, Western Railway will run three premium superfast special trains between Bandra Tr.- Jodhpur, Surat  - Chhapra and Surat - Patna.

Bandra(T)-Jodhpur (Weekly) Super Fast AC Premium Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09043 Bandra (T)- Jodhpur Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Bandra (T) at 23.55 hrs o­n every Monday and will reach Jodhpur at 16.20 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 6th April to 29th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09044 Jodhpur - Bandra (T) Weekly Premium AC Super Fast Special train will leave Jodhpur at 11.20 hrs o­n every Wednesday and reach Bandra (T) at 04.15 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 8th April to 1st July, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier Coaches & Pantry Car.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Ahmedabad, Falna and Pali Marwar stations in both directions.

Surat - Chhapra (Weekly) Premium Super Fast Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09051 Surat - Chhapra Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Surat at 06.10 hrs o­n every Saturday and will reach Chhapra at 10.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 4th April to 27th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09052 Chhapra - Surat Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Chhapra at 13.25 hrs o­n every Sunday and reach Surat at 16.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 5th April to 28th June, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class Coaches & Pantry Car.

The train will halt at Bhusawal, Jabalpur, Chheoki, Varanasi and Ballia stations in both directions.

Surat - Patna (Weekly) Premium Super Fast Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09055 Surat - Patna Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Surat at 06.10 hrs o­n every Tuesday and will reach Patna at 10.40 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 7th April to 30th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09056 Patna - Surat Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Patna at 14.55 hrs o­n every Wednesday and reach Surat at 19.55 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 8th April to 1st July, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class Coaches & Pantry Car.

The train will halt at Bhusawal, Itarsi, Jabalpur, Chheoki, and Mughalsarai stations in both directions.

Booking for these Premium trains will open 15 days prior to the date of journey as per Advance Reservation period scheduled for Premium trains o­nly through IRCTC website.

Kolhapur - Purna Weekly Summer Specials

Central Railway has decided to run 30 weekly summer special trains between Kolhapur - Purna to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are as under:

01419 / 01420 Kolhapur - Purna weekly specials (30)

Train No. 01419 Weekly Summer Special will Kolhapur at 15.45 hrs o­n every Wednesday from 18.03.2015 to 24.06.2015 (15 trips) and will arrive Purna at 08.20 hrs next day.

Train No. 01420 Weekly Summer Special will leave Purna at 11.10 hrs o­n every Thursday from 19.03.2015 to 25.06.2015 (15 trips) and will arrive Kolhapur at 00.50 hrs next day.

Halts : Rukadi, Hatkanangale, Miraj, Kavathe Mahankal, Dhalgaon, Sangola, Pandharpur, Modlimb, Kurduwadi Jn, Barsi Town, Usmanabad, Latur, Latur Road, Parli Vaijnath and Parbhani.

Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, 2 AC-3 Tier, 9 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 General Second Class cum guard's brake vans.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION

In order to clear waitlisted passengers and extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway has temporarily augmented the following Trains with additional Sleeper Class Coaches as detailed below:-



1.Train No. 17401 Tirupati - Machilipatnam Express will be augmented with Sleeper Class Coach from 9th to 15th March, 2015.

2.Train No. 17402 Machilipatnam - Tirupati Express will be augmented with Sleeper Class Coach from 10th to 16th March, 2015.

3.   Train No. 17429 Hyderabad-Tirupati Rayalaseema Express will be augmented with Sleeper Class Coach from 9th to 15th March, 2015.

4.Train No. 17430 Tirupati - Hyderabad Express will be augmented with Sleeper Class Coach from 10th to 16th March, 2015.

5.Train No. 57477 Tirupati - Guntakal Passenger will be augmented Sleeper Class Coach from 9th to 15th March, 2015.

6.   Train No. 57478 Guntakal - Tirupati Passenger will be augmented Sleeper Class Coach from 10th to 16th March, 2015.

PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

The following trains have been permanently augmented as explained below.

Train No.12632/12631 Tirunelveli – Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli Nellai express trains have been permanently augmented by 1 AC 3-tier coach ex. Tirunelveli from 12.03.2015 and ex. Chennai Egmore from 15.03.2015.

Train No.12661/12662 Chennai Egmore – Sengottai – Chennai Egmore Podhigai express trains have been permanently augmented by 1 AC 3-tier coach ex. Chennai Egmore from 13.03.2015 and ex. Sengottai from 14.03.2015.

Special Trains between Vijayawada –Tirupati & Tirupati – Kakinada Town Extended

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, the run of the following Special Trains have been extended for some more trips as per the following schedule:-

I)Train No. 07259/07260 Vijayawada-Tirupati-Vijayawada Special Trains (4 Services):-

Train No. 07259 Vijayawada – Tirupati special train will depart Vijayawada at 11:15 pm o­n 19th and 26th March, 2015 and arrive Tirupati at 09:25 am o­n the next day.

 In the return direction, Train No. 07260 Tirupati – Vijayawada special train will depart Tirupati at 07:55 pm o­n 22nd and 29thMarch, 2015 and arrive Vijayawada at 04:50 pm o­n the next day.

 Enroute, these special trains will stop at New Guntur, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Srikalahasti and Renigunta stations in both the directions. These special trains will have 15 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

II)Train No. 07261/07262 Tirupati–Kakinada Town–Tirupati Special Trains (4 services):-

Train No. 07261 Tirupati – Kakinada Town special train will depart Tirupati at 03:30 pm o­n 20th and 27th March, 2015 and arrive Kakinada Town at 04:15 am o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07262 Kakinada Town – Tirupati special train will depart Kakinada Town at 08:05 pm o­n 21stand 28th March, 2015 and arrive Tirupati at 10:15 am o­n the next day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Renigunta, Srikalahasti, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Chirala, Tenali, New Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahmundry and Samalkot stations in both the directions. These special trains will have 15 coaches viz., o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.
