AP Sampark Kranti Express to Stop at Yerraguntla

South Central Railway will provide stoppage to Train No. 2707 / 2708 Tirupati-H. Nizamuddin - Tirupati AP Sampark Kranti Express at Yerraguntla with effect from 10th November, 2010.

Accordingly, Train No. 2707 Tirupati-H. Nizamuddin AP Sampark Kranti Express will arrive / depart Yerraguntla at 08 40 / 08 41 hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 2708 Hazrat Nizamuddin-Tirupati AP Sampark Kranti Express will depart / arrive Yerraguntla at 17 57 / 17 58 hrs.

Four Trains augmented with additional 3Tier AC Coaches

With a view to meet the demands of the rail users, the following four pairs of trains are augmented with additional 3 Tier AC Coches on permanent basis, as follows :

Train No.2791/2792 Secunderabad - Patna - Secunderbad Express is augmented with one additional 3 Tier AC Coach commencing from 3rd November, 2010 Ex. Secunderabad and 5th November, 2010 Ex. Patna.  The revised composition of the train comprises of one AC 2 Tier, two AC 3 Tier, ten Sleeper class, one pantry car,  two general second class, two second class luggage-cum-brake van coaches, totaling to eighteen.

Train No.2702/2701 Hyderabad - Mumbai CSTM - Hyderabad Hussain Sagar Express is augmented with one additional 3 Tier AC Coach commencing from 3rd November, 2010 Ex. Secunderabad and 4th November, 2010 Ex. Mumbai CSTM.  The revised composition of the train comprises of one AC 2 Tier, three AC 3 Tier, ten Sleeper class,   two general second class, two second class luggage-cum-brake van coaches, totaling to eighteen.

Train No.7032/7031 Hyderabad - Mumbai CSTM - Hyderabad Express is augmented with one additional 3 Tier AC Coach commencing from 3rd November, 2010 Ex. Secunderabad and 4th November, 2010 Ex. Mumbai CSTM.  The revised composition of the train comprises of one AC First class, one AC 2 Tier, two AC 3 Tier, ten Sleeper class,   two general second class, two second class luggage-cum-brake van coaches, totaling to eighteen.

Train No.2785/2786 Kacheguda - Bangalore City - Kacheguds Express is augmented with one additional 3 Tier AC Coach replacing one existing sleeper class coach, commencing from 27th January,  2011 Ex. Kacheguda and 28th January, 2011 Ex. Banglore City.  The revised composition of the train comprises of one AC First class, one AC 2 Tier, three AC 3 Tier, thirteen Sleeper class,   four general second class, two second class luggage-cum-brake van coaches, totaling to twenty four.

Special trains cancelled during December, 2010

The following special trains which were announced to run during November and December, 2010 is cancelled during December 2010 as detailed below:

1) Train No. 0865A Viskhapatnam-Secunderabad weekly special train is cancelled with effect from 1st to  29th December 2010
2) Train No. 0866A Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam weekly special train is cancelled with effect from 2nd to 29th December 2010.
3) Train No. 0877 Visakhapatnam-Bangalore weekly special train is cancelled with effect from 5th to 27th December 2010.
4) Train No. 0878 Bangalore-Visakhapatnam weekly special train is cancelled with effect from 6th to 27th December 2010.

DEEPAVALI SPECIAL TRAINS

Southern Railway will run the following special trains to clear extra rush of passengers during Deepavali festival.

Chennai Egmore – Rameswaram – Chennai Egmore Special (via. Mayiladuthurai): T.No.0633 Chennai Egmore – Rameswaram Special will leave Chennai Egmore at 23.30 hrs. on 03.11.2010 (Wednesday) and arrive Rameswaram at 14.05 hrs. the next day. T.No.0634 Rameswaram – Chennai Egmore Special will leave Rameswaram at 19.00 hrs. on 07.11.2010 (Sunday) and arrive Chennai Egmore at 08.50 hrs. the next day. The composition of the trains will be  1 AC 3-tier, 4 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Mambalam, Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tiruppadiripuliyur, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur,  Tiruchchirappalli, Pudukottai, Chettinad, Karaikkudi, Devakottai Road, Kallal, Sivaganga, Manamadurai, Paramakkudi and Ramanathapuram.
                                                                                            
Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on 29.10.2010.

Rule revised for Reserved Tickets left behind

Correction slip No. 23 to Indian Railways Commercial Manual VoU Para 320 may be revised as under:
The following procedure should be adopted when passengers, leave their tickets behind:-
320: Tickets left behind - When passengers, leave their reserved tickets behind, the Station Master concerned, on finding/getting such tickets will send a control message through control phone or any other mode of communication, free of charge to the nearest convenient station giving the details of the tickets, viz. PNR Number, Train Number, Coach Number, Berth/Seat, Class, station from, station to and the name of the passenger/passengers, if known. The Station Master of the message sending station will ensure that the message has reached at the desired destination.
The Station Master of the station to whom the message has been communicated will on receipt and the authority of this message, issue a free excess fare ticket to destination and hand it over to the passenger. The Station Master of the station, where the left behind tickets are found/made available, will cancel the original tickets and submit the same along with his report to the Traffic Accounts Office. A copy of the report should also be sent to the Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager/Divisional Commercial Manager.

WINTER HOLIDAY SPECIAL

To clear extra rush during the festive season, Western Railway will run special train no. 0917/0918 Bandra (T)-Ahmedabad  for benefit of passengers.

Train No. 0917 Bandra (T)-Ahmedabad Special will leave Bandra (T) at 23.25 hrs on 30th Oct & 1st Nov 2010 to reach Ahmedabad at 08.15 hrs the next day. On 3rd Nov 2010, the train will leave Bandra (T) at 23.45 hrs to reach Ahmedabad the next day at 08.55 hrs.Similarly, in return direction, Train No. 0918 will leave Ahmedabad at 23.10 hrs on 31st Oct & 2nd Nov 2010  and  arrive   Bandra (T)  at  07.55 hrs  the   next  day.The train will comprise of Sleeper class & II class general coaches.Enroute the train will stop at Borivali, Surat and Vadodara stations in both directions.

Booking for Train No. 0917/0918 opens on 28th October 2010.

Extension of Dadar – Sawantwadi - Dadar Daily Special Train upto 26.11.2010

Railways have decided to extend the service of 0113/0114 Daily Special Train between Dadar and Sawantwadi to clear the extra rush of Passengers. The details are as
under:-

0113 Dadar - Sawantwadi daily Special Train will leave Dadar at 00.45 am and will reach Sawantwadi at 1.20 pm same day. This Daily Special train will run up to 26.11.2010

0114 Sawantwadi - Dadar Daily Special Train will leave Sawantwadi at 3.35 pm and will reach Dadar at 4.20 am on next day. This Daily Special Train will up to 26.11.2010.

Halts: Thane, Panvel, Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarde, Aravali Road, Sangmeshwar, Ratnagiri, Adavali, Vilavade, Rajapur Road, Vaibhavwadi Road, Nandgaon
Road, Kankavali, Sindhudurg, Kudal.

Revised Composition: One AC -2 Tier, One AC -3 Tier, 4 Sleeper, 2 General Second Class and 2 General Second Class cum Guard’s Brake Van.

Reservation: Bookings open from 25.102010.

2 Special Trains Between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Nagpur

Railways have decided to run two Special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Nagpur to clear the extra rush of Passengers during Diwali. The details are
as under:

0109 Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 20.35 hrs on 4.11.2010 and will arrive Nagpur 11.05 hrs next day. This train will halt at Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Kasara,
Igatpuri, Devlali, Nasik Road, Manmad, Chalisgaon, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Nandura, Jalamb, Shegaon, Akola, Murtizapur, Badnera, Dhamangaon, Pulgaon & Wardha.

0110 Special will leave Nagpur at 14.20 hrs on 5.11.2010 and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 05.25 hrs next day. This train will halt at Sewagram, Wardha, Pulgaon,
Dhamangaon, Badnera, Murtizapur, Akola, Shegaon, Jalamb, Nandura, Malkapur, Bhusaval, Jalgaon, Chalisgaon, Manmad, Nasik Road, Devlali, Igatpuri, Kalyan & Dadar.

Composition: Two AC 3-tier, 14 sleeper class, and 2 general second class cum guard’s brake vans.

Temprory Stopage

 Railway Administration has decided that stopage of train no. 0234/0233, Hanumangarh-Kota-Hanumangarh, holiday Spl. Exp. at Chauth Ka Barwara will be given from 23.10.2010. According to CPRO, North Western Railway, Shri Lalit Bohra, Train No. 0233, Hanumangarh-Kota holiday Spl. Exp. will arrive Chauth Ka Barwara station at 07.59 AM & depart 08.00 AM and Train No. 0234, Kota-Hanumangarh, holiday Spl. Exp. will arrive Chauth Ka Barwara station at 07.09 PM & depart 07.10 PM.

Special Train for Urs-e-Shareef at Gulbarga

In order to clear extra rush of pilgrims during celebration of 606 Urs-e-Shareef of Hazarath Khaja Bandanawaz at Gulbarga, South Central Railway will run a Special Train between Hyderabad and Gulbarga as per the following schedule :

Train No.0 7403 Hyderabad - Gulbarga Special Train will depart Hyderabad on 23rd October, 2010 at 22.00 hrs., arrive/depart Begumpet at 22.19/22.20 hrs., and arrive Gulbarga at 05.40 hrs., the next day.In the return direction Train No.07404 Gulbarga-Hyderabad Special Train will depart Gulbarga on 27th October, 2010 at 11.10 hrs, arrive/depart Begumpet at 16.28/16.29 hrs., and arrive Hyderabad at 17.00 hrs. the same day.Enroute, the Specil train will also stop at Sanatnagar, Hafizpeta, Lingampalli, Nagalapalli, Shankarpalli, Ravalapallikalan, Gullaguda, Chitgidda, Vikarabad, Godamgura, Mailarum, Dhrur, Rukmapur, Tandur, Mantatti, Nawandgi, Kurgunta, Seram, Malkhaid Road, Chittapur, Sulehalli and Wadi in both the directions.The train will comprise of ten general second class and two second class luggage cum brake van coaches totaling to twelve.

Extension of Train No.356/355 Hyderabad - Wadi - Hyderabad Passenger upto Sholapur

Train No.356/355 Hyderabad - Wadi - Hyderabad Passenger will be extended to run to and from Sholapur from 23rd to 28th October, 2010 in connection with Urs-e-Shareef.
Accordingly, Train No.356 Hyderabad - Wadi Passenger which departs Hyderabad at 16.30hrs. will arrive/depart Wadi at 21.30/21.35 hrs. the same day and arrive Sholapur at 00.20 hrs., the next day.In the return direction Train No.355 Hyderabad  Passenger will depart Sholapur at 00.45 hrs; arrive/depart Wadi at 04.00/04.15 hrs and arrive Hyderabad at 08.40 hrs. the same day.

TRAIN RESCHEDULED/CANCELED DUE TO FOG IN WINTER

पूर्व मध्य रेल द्वारा जारी सूची के अनुसार ग्रैंड कॉर्ड पर चलने वाली हटिया-आनन्द विहार (दिल्ली) के बीच चलनेवाली 2873 झारखण्ड स्वर्ण जयंती एक्सप्रेस 20 दिसम्बर 2010 से 31 जनवरी 2011 तक रद्द रहेगी जबकि डाउन में 2874 आनन्द विहार-हटिया स्वर्ण जयंती एक्सप्रेस 23 दिसम्बर 2010 से 31 जनवरी 2011 तक रद्द रहेगी। मेन लाइन पर 3039-3040 हावड़ा-दिल्ली जनता एक्सप्रेस 20 दिसम्बर से 31 जनवरी तक रद्द रहेगी। हावड़ा से दिल्ली जानेवाली 3111-3112 लाल किला एक्सप्रेस अप में 20 दिसम्बर से 31 जनवरी तक कानपुर से दिल्ली के बीच तथा डाउन में 23 दिसम्बर से 31 जनवरी के बीच दिल्ली से कानपुर के बीच रद्द रहेगी। इस दौरान लालकिला एक्सप्रेस हावड़ा से कानपुर तक ही जाएगी। 3007-33008 हावड़ा-श्रीगंगानगर उद्यान आभा एक्सप्रेस अप में 20 दिसम्बर से 31 जनवरी तक मुगलसराय से श्रीगंगानगर के बीच तथा डाउन में 23 से 31 जनवरी तक श्रीगंगानगर से मुगलसराय के बीच रद्द रहेगी और इस दौरान रेलगाड़ी का परिचालन हावड़ा से मुगलसराय के बीच हो होगी।

SPECIAL BI-WEEKLY TRAIN BETWEEN ALLAHABAD-UDHAMPUR

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during festival season, Railways has decided to run one special bi-weekly Express train no. 0483/0484 Allahabad-Udhampur-Allahabad as per the programme:-

The 0483 Allahabad-Udhampur bi-weekly express train will depart from Allahabad on every Monday and Friday on 22/10, 25/10, 29/10, 1/11, 5/11, 8/11, 12/11, 15/11 & 19/11/2010 (9 trips) at 5.20 p.m. to reach Udhampur at 06.05 p.m. the next day. While in the return direction the 0484 Udhampur-Allahabad bi weekly Express train will depart from Udhampur on every Tuesday and Saturday on 23/10, 26/10, 30/10, 2/11, 6/11, 9/11, 13/11,16/11, & 20/11/2010 (9 trips) at 08.50 p.m.  to reach Allahabad at 09.15 p.m. the next day.Consisting of One A.C. 3 Tier, Ten second class sleeper, Four general class and Two second cum-luggage and brake van coaches, the 0484/0483 bi weekly special train will stop at Fatehpur,  Kanpur, Etawah, Tundla, Aligarh Jn., Khurja, Hapur, Meerut, Saharanpur, Ambala, Ludhaiana, Jalandhar Cantt.,  Chakki Bank and Jammu Tawi stations enroute in both the directions.

SPECIAL ONE TRIP BETWEEN NEW DELHI-BARAUNI

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during festival season, Railways has decided to run one trip of special train no. 0480 New Delhi- Barauni. The 0480 New Delhi- Barauni train will depart from New Delhi on Friday, 22.10.2010 (one trip only ) at 3.10 p.m. to reach Barauni at 12.40 p.m.(noon) the next day. Consisting of Twenty second class general and Two second cum-luggage and brake van coaches, the 0480 New Delhi- Barauni special train will stop at Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Bareilly, Lucknow, Gonda, Gorakhpur, Deoria Sadar, Siwan, Chhapra, Sonepur, Hajipur, Muzaffarpur and Samastipur stations enroute

SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN BANGALORE AND NAGERCOIL

The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of passengers.

Bangalore – Nagercoil Specials: T.No.6537A Bangalore – Nagercoil Special will leave Bangalore at 23.05 hrs. on Thursdays from 21.10.2010 to 23.12.2010 and arrive Nagercoil at 14.00 hrs. the next day.  T.No.6538A Nagercoil – Bangalore Special will leave Nagercoil at 12.45 hrs. on Saturdays from 23.10.2010 to 25.12.2010 and arrive Bangalore at 04.00 hrs. the next day.  The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 11 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Hosur, Salem, Erode, Madurai, Virudunagar, Vanchi Maniyachchi and Tirunelveli.
