ECoR TO RUN TWO SPECIAL TRAINS TO SHIRDI FROM BHUBANESWAR & VISAKHAPATNAM

In view to clear wait listed passengers, East Coast Railway has decided to run two weekly special trains to Shirdi from Bhubaneswar & Visakhapatnam.

08465/08466 Bhubaneswar-Shirdi-Bhubaneswar weekly special train via Visakhapatnam, Secunderabad & Nizamabad will leave Bhubaneswar at 22.15hrs on every Friday between 5th August to 23rd December 2011 and will arrive at Shirdi at 11.00hrs on every Sunday. In the return direction, this train will leave Shirdi at 18.20hrs on every Sunday between 7th August to 25th December 2011 and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 05.45hrs on every Tuesday.
This train has One AC-2 tier, One AC-3tier, 06 Sleeper Classes, 06 General Second Classes and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Brahmapur, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajmundry, Tadepalligudem, Elluru, Vijaywada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Bolarum, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Nanded, Purna, Parvani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad, Kopergaon and Puntamba between Bhubaneswar & Shirdi.

08567/08568 Visakhapatnam-Shirdi-Visakhapatnam weekly special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 05.30hrs on every Thursday between 4th August to 29th December 2011 and will arrive at Shirdi at 11.00hrs on every Friday. In the return direction, this train will leave Shirdi at 18.20hrs on every Friday between 5th August to 30th December 2011 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 22.45hrs on every Saturday.
This train has One AC-2 tier, One AC-3tier, 09 Sleeper Classes, 04 General Second Classes and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajmundry, Tadepalligudem, Elluru, Vijaywada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Bolarum, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Nanded, Purna, Parvani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad, Kopergaon and Puntamba between Visakhapatnam & Shirdi.

EXTENSION OF SPECIAL TRAINS

For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush, Railways have decided to extend the run of Special Weekly train nos 09021/09022 Bandra Terminus – Jammu Tawi & 04011/04012 Sai Nagar Shridi - H.Nizamuddin Summer Special as per details:
 The run of train no.09021 Bandra Terminus – Jammu Tawi Special(Weekly- Monday) presently running upto 1.8.11 has been extended to run on 8/8, 15/8, 18/8, 22/8, 29/8, 5/9 & 12/9/11(6 trips) when departing from Bandra Terminus. While in the return direction, the 09022 Jammu Tawi - Bandra Terminus Special (Weekly- Wednesday) presently running upto 3.8.11 has been extended to run on 10/8, 17/8, 24/8, 31/8, 7/9, & 14/9/2011(6 trips) when departing from Jammu Tawi.
The run of train no.04012 H.Nizamuddin – Sai Nagar Shridi Summer Special(Weekly- Friday) presently running upto 29.7.11 has been extended to run from 5.8.2011 to 9.9.2011 (6 trips) when departing from H.Nizamuddin at 00.20 a.m(midnight) to reach Sai Nagar Shridi at 11.15 p.m the next day. While in the return direction, the 04011 Sai Nagar Shridi - H.Nizamuddin Summer Special (Weekly- Saturday) presently running upto 30.7.11 has been extended to run from 6.8.2011 to 10.9.2011(6 trips) when departing from Sai Nagar Shridi at 10.00 a.m to reach Nizamuddin at 12.55 p.m(noon) the next day.  Consisting of One AC First, One AC 2 Tier, TwoAC3 Tier, Eight Sleeper Class, Four Second Class and One Pantry Car coaches, the 04011/04012 summer special Express will stop at Mathura Jn., Agra, Gwalior, Jhansi, Bhopal, Itarsi,Khandwa, Bhusawal, Manmad, Kopergaon and Puntamba stations enroute in both the directions.

SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN BANGALORE AND HOWRAH VIA.CHENNAI CENTRAL

The following special train will be run to clear the extra rush of passengers.

Bangalore City – Howrah Superfast Special: T.No.06503 Bangalore City – Howrah Superfast Special will leave Bangalore City at 23.30 hrs. on 3.8.2011 and arrive Chennai Central at 05.40 hrs. on 4.8.2011. Leaving Chennai at 06.20 hrs. the same day, the train will arrive Howrah at 10.55 hrs. on 5.8.2011. The composition of the train will be 1 First Class AC-cum-AC 2-tier, 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 2-tier-cum-AC 3-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 13 Sleeper Class and 4 General Second Class coaches.The train will will stop at Bangalore Cantt., Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Chennai Central, Ongole, Vijayawada, Rajahmundry, Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur.

WR CARRIES REPAIR WORK ON WAR FOOTING

Following heavy rains since last 4-5 days and due to erosion of soil near railway tracks between Vaitarna and Saphale stations in Mumbai-Valsad section. Some long distance trains have been short terminated at stations before Mumbai while some of the MEMU/Shuttle services have been cancelled on 2/08/2011 to carry out the repair work.

Extension of Train Between Mumbai Central and Ahmedabad

In order to clear extra rush of traffic, Western Railway has decided to run 51 more trips of 09001/09002 Mumbai Central - Ahmedabad Tri-weeklySuperfast Special train for two months for the convenience of passengers.

Accordingly, Train No.09001 Mumbai Central – Ahmedabad Tri – weekly Super FastSpecial will leave from Mumbai Centralon every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday at 22.50hrs from 2nd Aug, 2011 to29th Sept, 2011andwill reach Ahmedabadat 06.55hrs the next day. Similarly,Train No.09002 Ahmedabad - Mumbai Central Tri – weekly Super FastSpecial will departfrom Ahmedabadon every Wednesday, Friday and Monday at 21.40hrs from 3rd Aug, 2011 to28th Sept, 2011and will reach Mumbai Centralat 05.45hrs the next day. Enroute the train will halt at Borivali,, Surat, Vadodara, stations in both the directions. This Train will have AC II tier, AC III tier, II sleeper and general coaches.

The booking of extended trips will open on 31/07/2011.

EXTENSION OF RUN OF SPECIAL TRAINS

For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush, Railways have decided to extend the run of the special trains as per the details:

The run of train no. 04053 Anand Vihar Terminal-Jammu Tawi (Tri Weekly-Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday) presently running upto 30.7.11, has been extended from 2.8.11 to 15.09.2011(20 trips) when departing from Anand Vihar and in the return direction the 04054 Jammu Tawi-Anand Vihar terminal (Tri Weekly-Wednesday,Friday and Sunday) presently running upto 31.7.11 has been extended from 03.08.11 to 16.09.2011 (20 trips) when departing from Jammu Tawi.

The run of train no. 04031 Delhi Jn. –Panipat Passenger presently running upto 31.7.11, has been extended from 01.08.11 to 15.09.2011(46 trips) when departing from Delhi Jn and in the return direction the 04032 Panipat-Delhi Jn. Passenger presently running upto 31.7.11 has been extended from 01.08.11 to 15.09.2011 (46 trips) when departing from Panipat.

The run of train no. 04203 Varanasi-Delhi Jn (Tri weekly-Saturday,Monday and Wednesday) presently running upto 30.7.11, has been extended from 01.08.11 to 14.09.2011 (20 trips) when departing from Varanasi and in the return direction the 04204 Delhi Jn-Varanasi (Tri Weekly-Sunday,Tuesday and Thursday) presently running upto 31.7.11 has been extended from 02.08.11 to 15.09.2011(20 trips) when departing from Delhi Jn.

The run of train no. 04201 Lucknow-New Delhi (Tri weekly-Sunday ,Tuesday and Thursday) presently running upto 28.07.11, has been extended from 31.07.11 to 15.09.2011(21 trips) when departing from Lucknow and in the return direction the 04202 New Delhi-Lucknow(Tri Weekly-Monday ,Wednesday and Friday) presently running upto 29.7.11has been extended from 01.08.11 to 16.09.2011(21 trips) when departing from New Delhi.

The run of train no. 04033 Delhi Sarai Rohilla -Udhampur (Tri weekly- Monday,Wednesday and Friday) presently running upto 30.7.11 has been extended from 01.08.11 to 14.09.2011(20 trips) when departing from Delhi Sarai Rohilla and in return direction Udhampur -Delhi Sarai Rohilla (Tri weekly-Tuesday ,Thursday and Sunday) presently running upto 31.7.11 has been extended from 02.08.11 to 15.09.2011(20 trips) when departing from Udhampur.

The run of train no. 04043/04044 Delhi Jn-Ratanghar – Delhi Jn. (Daily) presently running upto 30.7.11 has been extended from 1.8.11 to 15.9.11 in both the directions but with the revised timings. The 04043 Delhi Jn-Ratanghar will depart from Delhi Jn at 5.00 a.m. to arrive at Ratanghar at 11.00 a.m. the same day . While in return direction the 04044 Delhi Jn-Ratanghar (Daily) will depart from Ratanghar at 3.15 pm to arrive Delhi Jn at 10.00 p.m. the same day.


The run of train no.05903 Dibrugarh-Chandigarh Special(Weekly- Thursday) presently running upto 28.7.11 has been extended to run on 4/8, 11/8, 18/8, 25/8, 1/9 & 8/9/2011(6 trips) when departing from Dibrugarh. While in the return direction, the 05904 Chandigarh-Dibrugarh Special (Weekly- Saturday) presently running upto 30.7.11 has been extended to run on 6/8, 13/8, 20/8, 27/8, 3/9, & 10/9/2011(6 trips) when departing from Chandigarh.

The run of train no.05281 Barauni-Adarshnagar Delhi Special(Weekly- Thursday) presently running upto 28.7.11 has been extended to run on 4/8, 11/8, 18/8, 25/8, 1/9 & 8/9/2011(6 trips) when departing from Barauni. While in the return direction, the 05282 Adarshnagar Delhi –Barauni Special (Weekly- Friday) presently running upto 29.7.11 has been extended to run on 5/8, 12/8, 19/8, 26/8, 2/9, & 9/9/2011(6 trips) when departing from Adarshnagar Delhi.

The run of train no.03685 Gaya-Delhi Jn Special(Weekly- Thursday) presently running upto 28.7.11 has been extended to run on 4/8, 11/8, 18/8, 25/8, 1/9 & 8/9/2011(6 trips) when departing from Gaya.While in the return direction, the 03686 Delhi Jn. –Gaya Special(Weekly- Friday) presently running upto 29.7.11 has been extended to run on 5/8, 12/8, 19/8, 26/8, 2/9, & 9/9/2011(6 trips) when departing from Delhi Jn

EXTENSION OF SPECIAL TRAINS BY CENTRAL RAILWAYS

1. 07143 Hyderabad - Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur)Special train will leave Hyderabad at 23.10 hrs o­n every Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday upto 14.9.2011 and arrive Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) at 22.45 hrs next day. 07144 Shri ChhatrapatiShahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) - Hyderabad Special train will leave Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) at 07.30 hrs o­n every Thursday, Friday, Monday and Tuesday upto 16.9.2011 and arrive Hyderabad at 06.45 hrs next day. Composition: o­ne AC 2-tier, o­ne AC 3-tier, 4 Sleeper class, 3 General second class and 2 General second class cum guards' brake vans.There is no change in the existing path and stoppages.

2. Train No. 01223 Dn leaving Nagpur at 08.10 hours o­n every Saturday is extended to leave upto 27.8.2011 and will arrive Ahmedabad at 04.00 hours next day. Train No. 01224 Up leaving Ahmedabad at 16.25 hours o­n every Sunday is extended to leave upto 28.8.2011 and will arrive Nagpur at 12.15 hours next day. There is no change in halts and composition of the train.

3. Train No. 01463 Dn will leave Pune at 06.00 hours o­n every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday up to 14.8.2011 which will arrive at Secunderabad at 14.30 hours same day. Train No. 01464 Up will leave Secunderabad at 15.20 hours o­n every Sunday, Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday up to 14.8.2011 which will arrive at Pune at 23.55 hours same day. There is no change in Halts & Composition of these Special Trains.

SAINAGAR SHIRDI - MYSORE WEEKLY SPECIAL TRAINS

Railways have decided to run 14 weekly special trains between Sainagar Shirdi - Mysore to clear the extra rush of passengers.The details are as under:
06201 Mysore - Sainagar Shirdi Weekly Special will leave Mysore o­n every Monday at 09.50 hrs from 1.8.2011 to 12.9.2011 (7 trips) and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 14.15 hrs next day. 06202 Sainagar Shirdi - Mysore Weekly Special will leave Sainagar Shirdi o­n every Tuesday at 15.30 hrs from 2.8.2011 to 13.9.2011 (7 trips) and arrive Mysore at 22.55 hrs next day. Halts: Puntamba, Belapur, Ahmednagar, Daund, Kurduwadi, Solapur, Bijapur, Almatti, Bagalkot, Badami, Gadag, Koppal, Hospet, Tornagallu, Bellary, Guntakal, Anantpur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur, Yelhanka, Bangalore cantt., Banglore City, Kengeri, Ramanagaram and Mandya. TEMPORARY RESTORATION OF PANTRY CAR SERVICES

Railways have decided to temporarily restore the Pantry Car service to 12873/12874 & 12817/12818 Hatia- Anand Vihar Terminus Jharkhand S.J. Express trains with immediate effect upto 12th September 2011.
