SCR Extends Special Trains

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway has ExtendedHyderabad-Ajmer Weekly Special train and Hyderabad-Kolhapur CSMT Special train as per the following schedule;-

1)Hyderabad-Ajmer-HyderabadWeekly Special Trains: Train No. 07106Hyderabad-Ajmer Weekly Special train will depart Hyderabad at 21.35 hrs o­n Fridays i.e, 6th and 13th January, 2012 and arrive Ajmer at 14.30 hrs o­n Sundays.In the return direction,Train No. 07105 Ajmer-Hyderabad weeklySpecial train will depart Ajmer at 22.45 hrs o­n Sundays i.e, o­n 8th and 15th January, 2012 and arrive Hyderabad o­n Tuesdays.

Enroute these trains will stop at Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, Medchel, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Dharmabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khandawa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Sehore, Shujalpur, Berchha, Ujjain, Nagda, Kota, Bundi, Mandalgarh, Chitorgarh, Bhilwara, Bijaynagar and Nasirabad. These trains will have 18 Coaches Viz., o­ne AC II tier, twoAC III tier, seven Sleeper class, six General Second class and two second class luggage cum brake vans Coaches.

2)Hyderabad-Kolhapur(CSMT)-Hyderabad Special Trains: Train No. 07143Hyderabad-Kolhapur-CSMTSpecial train will depart Hyderabad at 23.10 hrs o­n 7th ,8th , 10th and 11thJanuary, 2012and will arrive Kolhapur-CSMT at 22 45 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction Train No. 07144 Kolhapur (CSMT)-Hyderabad Special train will depart Kolhapur (CSMT) at 07 30 hrs o­n 9th ,10th,12th and 13th January 2012 and arrive Hyderabad at 06 45 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute these trains will stop at Begumpet, Sanathnagar, Lingampalli, Shankarpalli, Vikarabad, Tandur, Nawandgi, Kurgunta, Seram, Malkhaid Road, Krishna, Raichur, Manthralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Bellary, Tornagallu, Hospet, Koppal, Gadag, Hubli Jn, Dharwad, Londa, Belgaum, Ghatprabha, Raybag, Kudachi, Miraj andHatkanangale. These trains will have 11 Coaches Viz., one AC II tier, o­ne AC III tier, foursleeper class, three General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

WINTER SPECIAL TRAINS

The following special trains will be run between Bangalore and Villupuram in order to clear the extra rush of passengers during the Winter season.

T.No. 06541 Bangalore City – Villupuram special will leave Bangalore City at 23.00 hrs on 31.12.2011 & 07.01.2012 (Saturdays) and arrive Villupuram at 09.30 hrs. next day.T.No. 06542 Villupuram – Bangalore City Special will leave Villupuram at 16.30 hrs. on 01.01.2012 & 08.01.2012 (Sundays) and arrive Bangalore City at 04.00 hrs. the next day.The composition of the trains will be 5 Sleeper Class, 13 General Second Class & 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.The trains will stop at Bangalore Cantt, Krishnarajapuram, Bangarapet, Jolarpettai, Katpadi, Arakkonam, Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Changalpattu and Melmaruvathur.

Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on 31.12.2011.

4 Special Suburban Trains on New Year

CR will run Special Suburban Services o­n New Year Eve (31.12.2011/1.1.2012 midnight) for the benefit of passengers as under:

Kalyan Special will depart CST at 01.10 hrs and arrive Kalyan at 02.40 hrs
CST Special will depart Kalyan at 01.15 hrs and arrive CST at 02.45 hrs
Panvel Special will depart CST at 01.20 hrs and arrive Panvel at 02.40 hrs
CST Special will depart Panvel at 01.20 hrs and arrive CST at 02.40 hrs
All these specials will halt at all stations.

Special Trains between Mumbai and Sainagar Shirdi on 1.1.2012

CR will run o­ne Shraddha Special between Mumbai and Sainagar Shirdi o­n 1.1.2012 to clear the extra rush of passengers.  The details are as under:

01401 Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 00.20 hrs o­n 1.1.2012 (mid night of 31.12.2011 and 1.1.2012) and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 08.30 hrs same day. 01402 Special will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 22.25 hrs o­n 1.1.2012 and arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus  at 04.40 hrs next day. WR INTRODUCES FOUR NEW 12 CAR SERVICES AND EXTENDS TWO SERVICES FROM 1st JANUARY, 2012

In view of public demand and for convenience of commuters, Western Railway will introduce four new 12 car services and extend two services from 1st January, 2012. Out of the 4 new services o­ne service is between Borivali and Bhayander & o­ne between Andheri and Bhayander o­n down direction. Similarly, o­ne between Virar and Borivali & o­ne service between Borivali and Andheri o­n up direction. The two services which have been extended upto Virar were earlier operated between Andheri and Bhayander.

With increase of four new services, Western Railway's services have gone from 1210 to 1214. The number of 12 car services has gone up to 1006.

Extension of Sainagar Shirdi-Mysore Specials

Railways have decided to extend the run of special trains between Sainagar Shirdi - Mysore to clear the extra rush of passengers.  The details are as under:
06201 Mysore - Sainagar Shirdi Weekly Special will leave Mysore o­n every Monday at 05.30 hrs o­n 2.1.2012 and 9.1.2012 (2 trips) and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 11.30 hrs next day i.e. Tuesday. 06202 Sainagar Shirdi - Mysore Weekly Special will leave Sainagar Shirdi o­n every Tuesday at 23.55 hrs o­n 3.1.2012 and 10.1.2012 (2 trips) and arrive Mysore at 07.10 hrs o­n third day i.e. Thursday. South Central Railway to Extend Special Trains

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway has extended Train No.07403/07404 Adilabad-Nanded-Adilabad Special Train upto 31st January, 2012 as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 07403 Adilabad-Nanded Special Train will depart Adilabad at 07.30 hrs and Arrive Nanded at 12.15 hrs o­n the same day. In the return direction Train No. 07404 Nanded-Adilabad Special Train will depart Nanded at 15.00 hrs and Arrive Adilabad at 19.30 hrs o­n the same day.

Enroute these trains will stop at Kinwat, Bodhadibuzurg, Sahasrakund, Himayatnagar, Bhokar, Mudkhed. These trains will have 18 coaches viz., o­ne AC III tier,One AC Chair car, two AC Sleeper class, twelve General Second classand two Second class luggage cum brake van coaches.

These trains will halt at all Stations.

Superfast Special from Mumbai to Nagpur

Central Railway will run o­ne special train from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus to Nagpur o­n 30.12.2011 to clear the extra rush of passengers as per details given below:
01097 Superfast Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus  Mumbai at 11.05 hrs o­n 30.12.2011 (Friday) and will arrive Nagpur at 01.25 hrs o­n 31.12.2011 halting at Dadar, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Bhusaval, Akola & Badnera.
Composition: 10 Sleeper class coaches and 5 general second class

REGULATION OF TRAIN SERVICES TO BE CONTINUED TILL 30th DECEMBER

In view of security reasons, the running of passenger carrying trains on Kharagpur –Tata section will continue to remain suspended during the night hours from 22.00 hours to 5.00 hours. This arrangement will remain in force till 5.00 hours of 30.12.11.

18615/18616 Howrah-Hatia Express will run on Eastern Railway/East Central Railway route via Howrah-Asansol-Dhanbad-Kathrasgarh-Chandrapura-Bokaro Steel City – Muri instead of Howrah-Kharagpur-Tata-Chandil-Muri from 23.12.11 to 29.12.11.

TEMPORARY ADDITIONAL STOPPAGES

For the convenience and at the demand of rail passengers, Railways have decided to provide additional stoppages on experimental basis to train Nos. 12549/12550 Durg-Jammu Tawi Express, 12003/04 New Delhi-Lucknow Shatabdi Express, 14207/08 Pratapgarh-Delhi Padmavat Express and 14203/04 Varanasi-Lucknow Intercity Express as per details given below:

The 12003/12004 New Delhi-Lucknow Shatabdi Express train has been provided with an additional stoppage at Tundla station on experimental basis with effect from 1.1.2012 for 6 months.The 12004 New Delhi-Lucknow Shatabdi will arrive at Tundla station at 8.45am and after stopping for 2 minutes it will depart at 8.47 a.m. for its onward journey.While in the return direction the 12003 Lucknow-New Delhi Shatabdi Express will arrive at Tundla station at 7.11p.m. and will depart at 7.13p.m. after stopping for 2 minutes.

The 12549/12550 Durg-Jammu Tawi Express train has been provided with an additional stoppage at Umaria station with effect from 3.1.2012 upto 2.7.2012 on experimental basis.The 12550 Jammu Tawi Durg Express arrive at Umaria at 6.42a.m. after stopping for 2 minutes, it will depart at 6.44 a.m. for its onward journey.While in the return direction the 12549 Durg-Jammu Tawi Express will arrive at Umaria station at 7.03p.m. and after stopping for 2 minutes it will depart at 7.05 p.m. for its scheduled journey.

The 14207/14208 Pratapgarh-Delhi Padmavat Express train will beprovided with an additional stoppage at Gauriganj station w.e.f. 5.1.12 for 6 months on experimental basis.The 14208 Delhi-Pratapgarh Padmavat Express train will arrive at Gauriganj station at 7.05a.m. and will depart at 7.07a.m. to reach Amethi station at 7.17a.m., after stopping for 2 minutes it will depart at 7.19a.m. for its onward journey towards Pratapgarh.While in the return direction, the 14207 Pratapgarh-Delhi Padmavat Express train will arrive at Amethi at 5.58 p.m and depart at 6.00p.m. to reach Gauriganj stationat 6.17p.m. after stoppage of 2 minutes, it will depart at 6.19p.m. to reach Jais station at 6.34p.m. and after stoppage of 2 minutes it will depart at 6.36p.m. for its onward journey towards Delhi Jn.

The 14203/14204 Varanasi-Lucknow Intercity Express train will be provided with an additional stoppage at Harchandpur station with effect from 5.1.12 upto 6 months on experimental basis.The 14204 Lucknow-Varanasi Intercity Express trainwill depart from Bachirawan at 7.59a.m. to reach Harchandpur station at 8.10a.m.After stoppage of 2 minutes it will depart at 8.12.a.m. to reach Rae Bareli Jn. at 8.28a.m.and after stopping for 5 minutes it will depart at 8.33a.m. for its scheduled onward journey to Varanasi.While in its return direction the 14203 Varanasi-Lucknow Intercity Express will depart from Rae Bareli at 8.08p.m. to reach Harchandpur station at 8.24p.m.after stopping for 2 min. it will depart at 8.26 p.m to reach Bachirawan at 8.36 p.m and for onward scheduled journey to Lucknow.
