Special Trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Kamakhya

Railways have decided to run special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Kamakhya to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details of service as under –

05611special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.25 hours o­n 27.2.2013 & 6.3.2013 and will reach Kamakhya at 19.15 hours o­n 1.3.2013 & 8.3.2013 respectively.05612 special will leave Kamakhya at 18.45 hours o­n 2.3.2013 and will arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 23.15 hours o­n 4.3.2013.

HALTS & TIMINGS: These specials will run to the timings and stoppages of 15611/15612 LTT-Kamakhya Karmabhoomi Express

COMPOSITION: 10 Sleeper Class, o­ne AC-2 Tier, o­ne AC-3 Tier, 4 General Second Class, 2 General Second Class cum Guard’s Brake Van.

RESERVATION: Bookings for 05611 open from 26.2.2013.

Special Trains between Indore and Yesvantpur

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, 18 Special Trains will be run between Indore and Yesvantpur as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 09307 Indore - Yesvantpur Special Train will depart Indore at 20 55 hrs o­n 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th & 31st March and 7th, 14th, 21st & 28th April 2013 (Sundays)and arrive Yesvantpur at 11 15 hrs o­n Tuesdays.

 In the return direction, Train No. 09308 Yesvantpur-Indore Special Train will depart Yesvantpur at 13 30 hrs o­n 5th, 12th, 19th & 26thMarch and2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd & 30th April 2013 (Tuesdays)and arrive Indore at 05 05 hrs o­n Thursdays.

 Enroute, these Special trains will stop at Dewas, Ujjain, Maksi, Berchha, Sujalpur, Bairagarh, Bhopal, Habibganj, Itarsi, Betul, Narkher, Chandur Bazar, New Amravati, Akola, Washim, Hingoli, Purna, H.S.Nanded, Mudkhed Jn., Nizamabad, Kamareddi, Malkajgiri, Kacheguda, Mahbubnagar, Gadwal, Kurnool Town, Gooty, Dharmavaram and Yelahanka in both the directions.

These special trains will comprise of o­ne AC-II Tier, four AC-III Tier, seven Second Class Sleeper and two Luggage-cum-Brake Van Coaches totalling to 14 Coaches.

WR TO INTRODUCE FIRST AC COACH IN BANDRA TERMINUS-AHMEDABAD LOKSHAKTI EXPRESS

For the convenience of the passengers Western Railway has decided to introduce o­ne First AC coach in train no. 19143/19144 Bandra Terminus – Ahmedabad – Bandra Terminus Lokshakti express w.e.f 15thMarch, 2013.



The booking for First AC class will start from 28thFebruary, 2013.

RESTORATION OF TRAINS CANCELLED DUE TO FOGGY WEATHER

Following Trains cancelled due to foggy weather will be restored to run as per their normal schedule from the dates given below: -



The 14212 New Delhi – Agra Cantt. Intercity Exp. earlier announced to remain cancelled from 28.12.12 to 15.3.13 will now be restored from New Delhi from 26.2.13.



The 14211 Agra Cantt. – New Delhi Intercity Exp. earlier announced to remain cancelled from 29.12.12 to 16.3.13 will now be restored from Agra Cantt from 27.2.13.



The 15011 Lucknow Jn. (Ne) – Chandigarh Exp. train earlier announced to remain cancelled from 28.12.12 to 15.3.13 will now be restored from Lucknow Jn. (Ne) from 26.2.13.



The 15012 Chandigarh – Lucknow Jn. (Ne) train earlier announced to remain cancelled from 29.12.13to 16.3.13 will now be restored from Chandigarh from 27.2.13.

Spl train from Jaipur to solapur and Udaipur

यात्रियों की सुविधा के लिए जयपुर से नागदा, उज्जैन होते हुए सोलापुर एवं चंदेरिया होते हुए उदयपुर के लिए ग्रीष्मकालीन विशेष ट्रेनें चलाई जायेंगी।

जयपुर-सोलापुर साप्ताहिक विशेष ट्रेन

ट्रेन सं. 09715 जयपुर-सोलापुर साप्ताहिक विशेष ट्रेन1 अप्रैल, 2013 से 24 जून, 2013 तक जयपुर से प्रत्येक सोमवार को 12.55 बजे प्रस्थान करेगी और  21.25 बजे  नागदा, 22.55 बजे उज्जैन, 23.35 बजे मक्सी एवं 23.55 बजे बेरछा होते हुए बुधवार को 01.15 बजेसोलापुर पहुँचेगी। इसी प्रकार,वापसी में ट्रेन सं. 09716 सोलापुर-जयपुरसाप्ताहिक विशेष ट्रेन 3 अप्रैल, 2013 से26 जून, 2013 तक सोलापुर से प्रत्येक बुधवार को 06.45 बजे प्रस्थान करेगी और 07.18 बजे बेरछा, 07.40 बजे मक्सी, 08.35 बजे उज्जैन एवं 10.00 बजे नागदा होते हुए गुरुवार को 18.30 बजे जयपुर पहुँचेगी

इस गाड़ी में II एसी, III एसी, द्वितीय श्रेणी के शयनयान तथा सामान्य डिब्बे होंगे।

यह ट्रेन यात्रा के दौरान दोनों दिशाओं में दुर्गापुरा, बनस्थलीनिवाई, सवाईमाधापुर, इंद्रगढ़एसमंडी, कोटा, रामगंजमंडी, भवानीमंडी, चौमहला, नागदा, उज्जैन, मक्सी, बेरछा, शुजालपुर,सिहोर, बैरागढ़, भोपाल, इटारसी, खंडवा, भुसावल, मनमाड, कोपरगांव, साईंनगरसिर्डी, पुंताम्बर, बेलापुर, अहमदनगर, दौंड, जेऊर, कुर्दवाडी, मधातथामोहोल स्टेशनों पर रुकेगी।

जयपुर-उदयपुर सुपरफास्ट विशेष ट्रेन

ट्रेन सं. 09721 जयपुर-उदयपुर सुपरफास्ट विशेष ट्रेन1 अप्रैल, 2013 से 30 जून, 2013 तक जयपुर से 06.45 बजे प्रस्थान करेगी और 11.30 बजे चंदेरिया होते हुए उसी दिन13.45 बजे उदयपुर पहुँचेगी। इसी प्रकार,वापसी में ट्रेन सं. 09722 उदयपुर-जयपुरसुपरफास्ट विशेष ट्रेन 1 अप्रैल, 2013 से 30 जून, 2013 तक उदयपुर से 14.15 बजे प्रस्थान करेगीऔर 21.15 बजे चंदेरिया होते हुए उसी दिन21.15 बजे जयपुरप हुँचेगी।

इस गाड़ीमें वातानुकूलित कुर्सीयान, द्वितीय श्रेणी कुर्सीयान तथा सामान्य डिब्बे होंगे।

यह ट्रेन यात्रा के दौरान दोनों दिशाओं में किशनगढ़, अजमेर, नसीराबाद, बिजयनगर, भीलवाड़ा, चंदेरिया, मावलीजं. तथा राणाप्रतापनगर स्टेशनों पर रुकेगी।

NEW STOPPAGE AT MALERKOTLA STATION TO JAIPUR-AMRITSAR EXPRESS

For the convenience of rail passengers, Northern Railway is providing a new stoppage of two minutes each in both directions to the 19781/19782 Jaipur – Amritsar Express train at Malerkotla from 24.02.2013 as per the under-mentioned programme on experimental basis for 6 months:-



The 19781 Jaipur – Amritsar Express will reach Malerkotla at 06.12 a.m. and depart from there at 06.14 a.m. In the return direction the 19782 Amritsar- Jaipur Express will reach Malerkotla at 09.13 p.m. and depart from there at 09.15 p.m.



Other features viz. composition, route etc. of the train will remain unchanged.

Special Trains between Tirupati and Karimnagar

South Central Railway will run two special trains between Tirupati and Karimnagar in order to clear extra rush of passengers as per the following schedule:-

 Train No. 02761 Tirupati-Karimnagar Special Train will depart Tirupati at 22 40 hrs o­n 27th February, 2013 (Wednesday) and arrive Karimnagar at 11 25 hrs o­n the next day.

 In the opposite direction, Train No.02762 Karimnagar-Tirupati Special train will depart Karimnagar at 19 10 hrs o­n 28th February, 2013 (Thursday) and arrive Tirupati at 07 55 hrs o­n the next day.

 Enroute, these trains will stop at Renigunta, Srikalahasti, Gudur, Vijayawada, Madhira, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Jamikunta and Peddapalli stations in both directions.

 These trains will consist of o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches, totaling to eighteen coaches.

The temporary stoppage provided for T.No.16723/16724 Chennai Egmore – Thiruvananthapuram – Chennai Egmore Ananthapuri Express trains at North Panakudi  upto 10.4.2013 has been extended upto 30.6.2013..

Bandra Terminus – Bhavnagar Weekly Special Train

For the convenience of the passengers and to clear the extra rush Western Railway has decided to run special train between Bandra Tr- and Bhavnagar.


Train No.09231 Bandra (T)-Bhvnagar Weekly Special will leave Bandra (T) o­n every Mondayat 12.55 hrs to reach Bhavnagar , the next day at 04.10 hrs from 25th Februarary to 1st April, 2013. Similarly, in return direction, Train No.09232 Bhavnagar -Bandra (T) weekly special will depart from Bhavnagar o­n everySundayat 17.05 hrs and arrive Bandra Terminusat07.35 hrs , thenext dayfrom 24th February to 31st March, 2013 .



The train will have AC II, Sleeper class and II class general coaches.



This train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch,

Vadodara, anand, Nadiad, Maninagar, Ahmedabad, Sabarmati, Viramgam, Joravarnagar, Botad, DholaandSongarh, stations in both directions.



The booking of train no. 09231/09232 will open from 22nd February, 2013

NORTHERN RAILWAY AUGMENTS

To clear the extra rush of passengers, Northern Railway has decided to enhance the passenger carrying capacity of the TrainNo. 12986/12985 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Double Decker Train on temporary basis from both directions with immediate effect upto 15.03.2013 by providing two additional air-conditioned chair car coaches.

Temporary Halt at Kundapura in Mangala Express

Mangala Lakshadweep Express train will stop for two minutes at Kundapura station in Udupi district on an experimental basis.

A press release by the Palakkad division of Southern Railway said here that train No. 12617/12618 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangala Lakshadweep Express will stop for two minutes at Kundapura station on Konkan Railway on an experimental basis for six months with effect from February 20 to August 19.

Train No. 12617 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Express will reach Kundapura station at 11.36 p.m. and will leave at 11.38 p.m. Train No. 12618 Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Express will reach Kundapura station at 10.38 p.m. and will leave at 10.40 p.m.
