Mumbai-Lucknow Weekly Summer Special to Run As Bi-Weekly

Railways have decided to run the Weekly special between Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and Lucknow as BI-WEEKLY.  Thus the total number of summer special trains between Mumbai and Lucknow will be 48 instead of 24.  There is no change in timings, halts and composition of this special train. The details are as under:

01019 Special will leave Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus every Sunday & Tuesday from 7.4.2013 to 25.6.2013 at 12.25 hrs and arrive Lucknow at 18.45 hrs next day.

01020 Special will leave Lucknow every Monday and Wednesday from 8.4.2013 to 24.6.2013 at 19.55 hrs o­n and will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 01.00 hrs o­n the third day.

HALTS: Dadar, Thane, Kalyan, Igatpuri, Nasik Road, Manmad, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Maihar, Satna, Chitrakot, Atarra, Banda, Bharwa Sumerpur, Hamirpur Road, Kanpur.

COMPOSITION: o­ne AC-2 Tier, Two AC-3 Tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class and 2 General Second Class cum guard’s brake vans.

RESERVATION: Bookings for 01019 for the extended days of service will begin from 7.4.2013

Special Trains between Tirupati and Karimnagar

South Central Railway will run two special trains between Tirupati and Karimnagar in order to clear extra rush of passengers as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 02761 Tirupati - Karimnagar Special Train will depart Tirupati at 22 40 hrs o­n 10th April, 2013 (Wednesday) and arrive Karimnagar at 11 25 hrs o­n the next day.

 In the return direction, Train No.02762 Karimnagar - Tirupati Special train will depart Karimnagar at 19 10 hrs o­n 11th April, 2013 (Thursday) and arrive Tirupati at 07 55 hrs o­n the next day.

 Enroute, these trains will stop at Renigunta, Srikalahasti, Gudur, Vijayawada, Madhira, Khammam, Mahabubabad, Warangal, Jamikunta and Peddapalli stations in both directions.

 These trains will consist of o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches, totaling to eighteen coaches.

INCREASE IN FREQUENCY OF TRAINS

As announced in the Railway Budget – 2012, the frequency of the following express trains will be increased from Weekly to Bi-weekly.

WR INTRODUCES NEW CHOTA UDEPUR-VADODARA DEMU SERVICE

Western Railway will introduce new 79456/79455 Chota Udepur – Vadodara DEMU train from 8th April, 2013 Ex Chota Udepur and from 9th April, 2013 Ex Vadodara.

            The inaugural service will be run as Train No.79456 Ex Chota Udepur at 15.30 hrs o­n 8th April, 2013. It will reach Vadodara at 18.45 hrs the same day.

            In its regular run, Train No. 79456 Chota Udepur - Vadodara DEMU will depart from Chota Udepur at 15.30 hrs every day from 8th April, 2013 to reach Vadodara at 18.45 hrs the same day.

            In its return direction, Train No. 79455 Vadodara – Chota Udepur DEMU will depart from Vadodara at 11.45 hrs every day from 9th April, 2013 to reach Chota Udepur at 14.55 hrs the same day.

            The train will halt at Pratapnagar, Kelanpur, Khundela, Bhilupur, Thuwavi, Dabhoi Jn, Vadhvana, Amalpur, Sankheda Bahadurpur, Chuchapura, Jojwa, Bodeli, Jabugam, Suskal, Pavi, Tejgadh and Puniyavat stations in both the directions.

            It will consist of II class general coaches.

Summer Special Trains between Hyderabad and Kota

South Central Railway will run 12 summer special trains between Hyderabad and Kota in order to clear extra rush of passengers as per the following schedule:-

 Train No. 07003 Hyderabad - Kota Summer Special Train will depart Hyderabad at 10 15 hrs o­n 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th April and 7th, & 28th May, 2013 and arrive Kota at 13 30 hrs o­n the next day.

 In the return direction, Train No.07004 Kota – Hyderabad Summer Special train will depart Kota at 17 10 hrs o­n 10th, 17th, 24th April and 1st, 8th, 29th May 2013 and arrive Hyderabad at 18 45 hrs o­n the next day.

 Enroute, these trains will stop at Secunderabad, Jangaon, Kazipet, Jammikunta, Ramgundam, Sirpurkagaznagar, Balharsha, Chandrapur, Sevagram, Nagpur, Itarsi, Habibganj, Bhopal, Bairagarh, Seahore, Shujalpur, Bercha, Ujjain, Nagda, Chaumehla, Shamgarh, Bhawanimandi and Ramganjmandi stations in both directions.

 These trains will consist of o­ne First AC cum AC II Tier, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches, totaling to Seventeen coaches.
