SUPERFAST SUMMER SPECIAL EXPRESS TRAIN BETWEEN NEW DELHI- PATNA

For the convenience of rail passengers during Summer season, Northern Railway has decided to run A.C. Superfast Express Summer Special train no. 04040/04039 between New Delhi and Patna as per the  following programme:-

The 04040 New Delhi- Patna A.C. Superfast Express Summer Special train will depart from New Delhiat 03.35 p.m. o­n 18, 19, 21, 22, 24, 25, 27 & 28.05.2013 (08 trips) to reach Patna at 05.00 a.m. the next day.  In the return direction, the 04039 Patna- New Delhi A.C. Superfast Express Summer Special train will depart from Patna at 12.15 noon o­n19, 20, 22, 23, 25, 26, 28 & 29.05.2013 (08 trips) to reach New Delhi at 04.00 a.m. the next day.

Consisting of o­ne A.C. First Class, Four A.C.2 Tier & Seven A.C. 3 Tier coaches, the 04040/04039 New Delhi- Patna- New Delhi A.C. Superfast Express Summer Special train will stop at Ghaziabad, Kanpur Central, Allahabad, Mughalsarai, Buxar, Ara, & Danapur stations enroute in both the directions.

SUMMER SPECIAL EXPRESS TRAIN BETWEEN HARIDWAR- MUZAFFARPUR

For the convenience of rail passengers during Summer season, Northern Railway has decided to run Bi- Weekly Express Summer Special train no. 04316/04315 between Haridwar & Muzaffarpur as per the  following programme:-

The 04316 Haridwar- Muzaffarpur (Bi- Weekly) Express Summer Special train will depart from Haridwar at 03.15 p.m. (12 trips) to reach Muzaffarpur at 02.15 p.m. the next day.In the return direction, the 04315 Muzaffarpur- Haridwar (Bi- Weekly) Express Summer Special train will depart from Muzaffarpur at 04.30 p.m. (12 trips) to reach Haridwar at 05.00 p.m. the next day.

Consisting of Six Sleeper Class, Four General Class and Two Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches, the 04316/04315 Haridwar- Muzaffarpur- Haridwar (Bi- Weekly) Express Summer Special train will stop at Laksar, Nazibabad, Moradabad, Bareilly, Sitapur Cantt., Gonda, Basti, Gorakhpur, Siwan, Chhapra, Sonepur & Hajipur stations enroute in both the directions.

Summer Special Trains Between Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad-Nagarsol

South Central Railway will run Eight Summer Special Trains between Secunderabad- Visakhapatnam and Secunderabad - Nagarsol in order to clear extra rush of passengers as per the following schedule:-

1)Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Summer Special Train (04 Trips):-

Train No. 07104 Secunderabad - Visakhapatnam Summer Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 21 00 hrs o­n 19th & 26th May, 2013 (Sundays) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 08 50 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No.07103 Visakhapatnam - Secunderabad Summer Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19 05 hrs o­n 20th& 27th May, 2013 (Mondays) and arrive Secunderabad at 08 25 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajamandry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both the directions. These trains will have 18 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, Eight Sleeper Class, Six General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

2)Secunderabad-Nagarsol-Secunderabad Summer Special Train (04 Trips):-

Train No. 07119 Secunderabad – Nagarsol Summer Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 20 35 hrs o­n 19th & 26th May, 2013 (Sundays)and arrive Nagarsol at 09 00 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No.07120 Nagarsol - Secunderabad Summer Special Train will depart Nagarsol at 10 30 hrs o­n 20th& 27th May, 2013 (Mondays) and arrive Secunderabad at 23 30 hrs o­n the same day.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Malkajgiri, Kamareddi, Nizambad, Mudkhed, Hazur Sahib Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna and Aurangabad stations in both the directions. These special trains will have 20 coaches viz, Two AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, Twelve Sleeper Class, Three General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

NORTHERN RAILWAY PROVIDES ADDITIONAL STOPPAGE

For the convenience of the rail passengers, Northern Railway has decided to provide additional stoppages to the 14218/14217 Chandigarh- Allahabad- Chandigarh Unchahar Express train at Jalalpur Dhai, Bighapur & Raghuraj Singh stations from 16.05.2013 o­n experimental basis for six months and the Surajkund Halt is being re-opened and provided stoppages of  the 3 pairs of passenger train nos. 54211/54212 Raebareli- Kanpur- Raebareli, 54221/54222 & 54223/54224 Raebareli- Raghuraj Singh- Raebareli as per the under-mentioned  programme:

The 14218 Chandigarh- Allahabad Unchahar Express Train will arrive at Jalalpur Dhai, Bighapur & Raghuraj Singh stations at 08.09 a.m., 06.50 a.m. & 07.21 a.m. respectively while in return direction, the 14217 Allahabad- Chandigarh Unchahar Express Train will arrive at Raghuraj Singh station at 05.30 p.m. with o­ne minute stoppage in both the directions.

The 54211 Raebareli- Kanpur, 54221 & 54223 Raebareli- Raghuraj Singh passenger trains will arrive at Surajkund Halt at 05.31 a.m., 06.26 a.m. & 05.53 p.m., while in the return direction, the 54212 Kanpur- Raebareli, 54222 & 54224 Raghuraj Singh- Raebareli passenger trains will arrive at Surajkund Halt at 09.39 a.m., 06.18 p.m. & 09.50 p.m. with o­ne minute stoppage in both the directions.

INTRODUCTION OF NEW INTERCITY EXPRESS TRAIN BETWEEN VARANASI- LUCKNOW

For the convenience of rail passengers, a new Express Train No. 14219/14220 will be introduced to run six days a week except Sunday between Varanasi and Lucknow from 17.05.2013 as per the following programme:-

The 14219 Varanasi- Lucknow (Six Days A Week) Express train will depart from Varanasi at 05.00 a.m. (except Sunday) to reach Lucknow at 11.45 a.m. the same day.  In the return direction, the 14220 Lucknow- Varanasi (Six Days A Week) Express train will depart from Lucknow at 01.00 p.m. (except Sunday) to reach Varanasi at 07.45 p.m. the same day.

Consisting of o­ne A.C. Chai Car, Twelve General class and Two Disabled Friendly Second Class cum luggage van coaches, the 14219/14220 Varanasi- Lucknow- Varanasi (Six Days A Week) Express train will stop at  Bhadohi, Janghai, Pratapgarh, Amethi and Raebareli stations enroute in both the directions.

The new train will be flagged off from Lucknow o­n 16.05.2013 at 10.15 a.m. and reach Varanasi at 04.25 p.m. the same day.

URS SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN AJMER- BAREILLY

For the facility of pilgrims attending Saalana Urs(801ST)  of  Khwaja Garib Nawaz at Ajmer Shareef, Railways have decided to run o­ne pair of special train no. 09631/09632 Ajmer- Bareilly- Ajmer Urs special  train as per the following programme:-

The 09631 Ajmer- Bareilly Urs special train will depart from Ajmer o­n 15.5.2013 at 05.30 a.m.(01  Trip) to arrive Bareilly at 05.50 p.m. the same day. In the return direction, the 09632 Bareilly- Ajmer Urs special train will depart from Bareilly o­n 15.05.2013 at 09.00 p.m. (01 Trip) to reach Ajmer at 09.40 a.m. the next day.

Consisting of  One A.C. 2 Tier, o­ne A.C. 3 Tier, Ten Sleeper Class, Four General Class and Two Second Class cum Luggage Van coaches, the 09631/09632 Ajmer- Bareilly- Ajmer  Urs special  train will stop at Phulera, Jaipur, Alwar, Rewari, Delhi Jn. , Ghaziabad & Mordabad stations enroute in both the directions.

AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

South Western Railway(SWR) has decided to augment with two additional Second Class Sleeper coaches temporarily for Train Nos. 17415/17416 TIRUPATI-KOLHAPUR-TIRUPATI HARIPRIYA EXPRESS with effect from 01st to 15th May, 2013 from TIRUPATI end and from 03rd to 17th May ,2013 from KOLHAPUR end & one additional 3-tier AC coach is attached for Train Nos. 17210/17209 KAKINADA-BANGALORE CITY-KAKINADAEXPRESS with effect from 05th to 14th May,2013 from KAKINADA end and from BANGALORE CITY end from 06th to 15th May, 2013, to clear extra rush of waitlisted Passengers.



It has also been decided to augment Train Nos.22681/22682 MYSORE-CHENNAI-MYSORE WEEKLY EXPRESS are attached with One additional 2-tier AC coach and one additional Second Class Sleeper coach on Permanent basis, with immediate effect from both the directions.

Extension of Sainagar Shirdi-Hazrat Nizamuddin Special Trains

Railways have decided to extend weekly special trains between Sainagar Shirdi – Hazrat Nizamuddin to clear the extra rush of passengers during summer rush.  The details are as under:

04011 weekly special will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 08.25 hrs o­n every Saturday from 8.6.2013 to 29.6.2013 (4 trips) and arrive Hazrat Nizamuddin at 12.50 hrs next day. 04012 weekly special will leave Hazrat Nizamuddin at 23.30 hrs o­n every Thursday from 6.6.2013 to 27.6.2013 (4 trips) and arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 22.30 hrs next day.

HALTS – Puntamba, Kopargaon, Manmad, Bhusawal, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cantt. and Mathura Jn.

COMPOSITION – o­ne AC First class, o­ne AC 2-tier, Two AC 3-tier, 8 Sleeper class, 4 General second class and 2 General second class cum Guard’s Brake vans.

RESERVATION: Bookings for 04011 will open from 16.5.2013.

URS Mela Special Train between Howrah and Ajmer

WR TO RUN URS SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN MUMBAI AND AJMER

For the convenience of passengers and to clear extra rush, Western Railway will run two trips of Urs special train from Mumbai  to Ajmer and back.

Train No.09618 Bandra Terminus –Ajmer Urs Special will leave Bandra Terminus  at 16.15 hrs o­n 16th  May 2013  and reach Ajmer  at 14.45 hrs  the next day. This train will be run Ex. Ajmer as 09617 Ajmer- Bandra Terminus Urs Special o­n 15th May,2013 at 20.00 hrs to reach Bandra Terminus at 15.15 Hrs the next day.

Enroute, the train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand,  Ahmedabad, Mahesana, Sidhpur, Chhapi, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna, Marwar Jn, Beawar and Dorai stations in both directions.

The train will have AC 2-Tier, AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and second class general coaches.

Booking for Train No. 09618 will be open from 15th  May, 2013.    

SCR to Introduce H.S. Nanded-Amritsar Weekly Super Fast Express

As announced in the Railway Budget 2012-13, South Central Railway will introduce Train no. 12421 / 12422 H.S.Nanded – Amritsar - H.S.Nanded Weekly Super Fast Express with effect from 15th May, 2013. The inaugural run Train No.12421 H.S. Nanded-Amritsar Weekly Super Fast will be flagged off by Shri Bhaskarrao Patil Khatgaonkar, Hon’ble Member of Parliament at 11 00 hrs o­n 15th May, 2013 to arrive Amritsar at 22 00 hrs o­n the next day. This train will depart H.S. Nanded o­n Wednesdays o­n its regular run.

In the return direction Train No. 12422 Amritsar-H.S. Nanded Weekly Super Fast Express will depart Amritsar o­n Mondays at 14 30 hrs and will arrive H.S. Nanded at 23 45 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute these train will stop at Purna, Hingoli, Washim, Akola, Malkapur, Khandwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Bina, Jhansi, Gwalior, Agra Cannt., New Delhi, Rohatak, Jakhal, Sangrur, Dhuri, Ludhiana, Phagwara, Jalandhar City and Beas. These trains will have 16 coaches viz, o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van coaches.

Schedule revised

South Western Railway has revised the schedule of Yeshwantpur-Solapur-Yeshwantpur Golgumbaz Express with effect from July 1. Yeshwantpur-Solapur Golgumbaz Express will leave Yeshwantpur at 7.30 p.m. and reach Solapur at 1.30 p.m. the next day. In the return direction, It will leave Solapur at 2.40 p.m. and arrive at Yeshwantpur at 7.35 a.m. the next day.

12688/22688 Express extended up to Madurai

Southern Railway has informed that Train No. 12688/22688 Dehradun/Chandigarh-Chennai Central weekly express train will be extended up to Madurai and Train No. 12687/22687 Chennai Central-Dehradun/Chandigarh weekly express train will originate from Madurai.

Accordingly, the Dehradun/Chandigarh-Chennai Central weekly express train leaving Dehradun/Chandigarh on May 13 and arriving at Chennai Central on May 15 would run up to Madurai. In the return direction, the weekly express train would commence its services from Madurai on May 15.

The trains would stop have stoppages at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Ambur, Vaniyambadi, Jolarpet, Salem, Erode, Karur and Dindigul. There will be no change in the existing timings and stoppages between Chennai Central and Dehradun/Chandigarh.
