In view to avoid extra rush in regular trains, East Coast Railway (ECoR) has decided to run one weekly Special Train betweem Bhubaneswar and Tirupaty.
0871 Bhubaneswar-Tirupaty Weekly Special Train will leave Bhubaneswar at 11.45 a.m. on every Saturday from 14th August to 25th September 2010. This train will arrive at Tirupaty at 09.45 a.m on the next day. In the return direction, 0872 Tirupaty-Bhubaneswar weekly special train will leave Tirupaty at 02.00p.m on every Sunday from 15th August to 26th September 2010 and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 02.00p.m on the following day.
This train will have stoppages at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Brahmapur, Palasa, Vizianagram, Visakhapatnam and Duvvada between Bhubaneswar and Tirupaty under ECoR’s jurisdiction. This train will have one AC-2 tier, two AC-3 tier, seven Sleeper Class coaches, four General Second Class coaches and two Guard cum Luggage van coaches in its composition.
