With a view to provide comfort to the commuters and also to clear the huge waitlist of passengers during Durga Puja period, Railways have taken steps to run three more special trains between Puri and Santragachhi (Kolkata).
08009 Santragachhi-Puri Special train will leave Santragachhi at 1900 hrs on 10th October 2013 (Thursday) and will arrive at Puri at 0415 hrs on Friday. In the return direction, 08010 Puri-Santragachhi Special train will leave Puri at 1820 hrs on 11th October 2013 (Saturday) and will arrive at Santragachhi at 0310 hrs on Saturday.
The second pair special train 08011 Santragachhi-Puri Special train will leave Santragachhi at 0830 hrs on 13th October 2013 (Sunday) and will arrive at Puri at 1710 hrs on the same day. In the return direction, 08012 Puri-Santragachhi Special train will leave Puri at 2300 hrs on 13th October 2013 (Sunday) and will arrive at Santragachhi at 0805 hrs on the next day.
The third pair special train 08013 Santragachhi-Puri Special train will leave Santragachhi at 1900 hrs on 17th October 2013 (Thursday) and will arrive at Puri at 0415 hrs on Friday. In the return direction, 08014 Puri-Santragachhi Special train will leave Puri at 0530 hrs on 18th October 2013 (Friday) and will arrive at Santragachhi at 1430 hrs on the same day.
These trains have Two AC-3 tiers, 08 Sleeper Classes, 04 General Second Class and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore and Kharagpur between Puri and Santragachhi.
