In order to clear extra rush of passengers during festival season, South Central Railway will run Ten Sankranthi Special Trains between Aurangabad and Tirupati & Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam as per the following schedule:-
1.Aurangabad-Tirupati Sankranthi Special Train: (8 Services)
Train No. 07405 Aurangabad-Tirupati Special Train will depart Aurangabad at 18 40 hrs on 10th, 17th, 24th and 31st January, 2014 (Fridays) and arrive Tirupati at 19 00 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No.07406 Tirupati-Aurangabad Special train will depart Tirupati at 21 15 hrs on 11th, 18th, 25th January and 1st February, 2014 (Saturdays) and arrive Aurangabad at 20 30 hrs on the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Jalna, Parbhani, Purna, Nanded, Mudhked, Basar, Nizambad, Kamareddi, Secunderabad, Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Venkatagiri, Srikalahasti and Renigunta Stations in both directions.
These trains will consist of 15 Coaches viz., one AC Three Tier, six Sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.
2.Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam AC Superfast Sankranthi Special Train (via Warangal, Vijayawada): (2 Services)
Train No. 02740 Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 22 10 hrs on 12th January 2014 (Sunday) and arrive Visakhapatnam at 10 35 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 02739 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 19 05 hrs on 13th January 2014 (Monday) and arrive Secunderabad at 07 50 hrs on the next day.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajamundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Anakapalli and Duvvada stations in both directions.
These special trains will have 16 coaches viz, one Ist AC, two AC II Tier, eleven AC III Tier and two Power Car Coaches.
Advance reservation for these trains will open on 3rd January, 2014.
