In order to clear extra rush of passengers during festival season, Indian Railways has decided to one run special train no.5209A/5210A Saharsa- Amritsar-Saharsa special Weekly Express train as per the programme :
The 5209A Saharsa- Amritsar special Weekly train will depart from Saharsa on every Tuesday on 12/10, 19/10, 26/10, 2/11, 9/11, 16/11 and 23/11/10 (7 trips) at 4.20 p.m to reach Amritsar at 2.50 a.m. the third day. While in the return direction the 5210A Amritsar-Saharsa special weekly will depart from Amritsar on every Thursday on 14/10, 21/10, 28/10, 4/11, 11/11, 18/11 and 25/11/10 (7 trips) at 1.10 p.m.(noon) to reach Saharsa at 10.45 p.m. the next day.
Consisting of Fourteen General class and Two second cum luggage and brake van coaches, the train no. 5209A/5210A Saharsa- Amritsar -Saharsa special Weekly train will stop at Simri, Bakhtiyarpur, Dhamara ghat, Mansi, Khagaria, Salauna, Hasanpur Road, Rusera Ghat, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, Sonpur, Chhapra, Siwan, Deoria Sadar, Gorakhpur, Khalilabad, Basti, Mankapur, Gonda, Burhwal, Sitapur Cantt., Shahjahanpur, Bareilly, Moradabad, Nazibabad, Saharanpur, Ambala Cantt., Sirhind, Ludhiana, Jalandhar City and Beas stations enroute in both the directions.
