Special train services have been introduced between Mysore and other cities to clear the extra rush of passengers during Dasara.
Train number BM-1/MB-1, Mysore-Bangalore city-Mysore, will run daily from October 11 till October 17. The train will stop at Mandya, Maddur, Channapattana, Ramanagaram and Kengeri. The train will leave Bangalore at 11.15 a.m. and reach Mysore at 2 p.m. and depart from Mysore at 2.30 p.m. to reach Bangalore at 5.30 p.m.
Similarly, train number BM-2/MB-2, Mysore-Bangalore city-Mysore, will operate till October 17 and the train will depart from Bangalore at 1 a.m. and reach Mysore at 4 a.m., and in the return direction it will leave Mysore at 9.15 p.m. and reach Bangalore at 12.15 a.m.
Similarly, Mysore-Chamarajanagar-Mysore special service will be in operation till October 17. It will depart from Mysore at 8.40 p.m. and reach Chamarajanagar at 10.20 p.m. from where it will depart at 11.35 p.m. and arrive at Mysore at 12.15 a.m.
