To clear the extra rush of passengers during the ensuing festive season, South Eastern Railway has decided to run DEMU special trains between Santragachi-Digha-Santragachi from September 28 to October 15.
The DEMU Special-08019 would leave Santragachi at 0945 hours and reach Digha at 1325 hours. In the return direction, the special train-08020 would leave Digha at 1350 hours and arrive at Santragachi at 1735 hours.The trains will ply daily except Sundays. The special trains will have stoppages at Mecheda, Tamluk and at all stations between Tamluk and Digha.
