For the convenience of travelling passengers and in view of demands from the passengers of major stations, Railways have decided to change the service pattern of Puri-Howrah-Puri Duronto Express to Shatabdi Express w.e.f. 8th February 2013 and will stop at major stations between Puri and Howrah and will run daily except Wednesday.
As a result, 12278 Puri-Howrah Shatabdi Express will leave Puri at 06.00hrs and will arrive at Howrah at 13.45hrs. In the return direction, 12277 Howrah Puri Shatabdi Express will leave Howrah at 14.25hrs and will arrive at Puri at 22.10hrs.
12278/12277 Puri-Howrah-Puri Shatabdi Express will stop at Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, and Kharagpur between Puri and Howrah having one First Class AC Chair Car, 11 Second Class Chair Car and two Power Generator and Guard Van in its composition.
