The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of passengers during Onam Festival season.
1) Ernakulam - Chennai Central - Ernakulam Superfast specials:
T.No.06346 Ernakulam Junction - Chennai Central Superfast Special will leave Ernakulam Junction at 19.00 hrs. on 05.09.2013 & 12.09.2013 and arrive Chennai Central at 07.45 hrs. the next day. T.No.06345 Chennai Central – Ernakulam Junction Superfast Special will leave Chennai Central at 21.00 hrs. on 06.09.2013 & 13.09.2013 and arrive Ernakulam Junction at 08.30 hrs. the next day.The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 11 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Aluva, Thrisur, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tirupur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Vaniyambadi, Gudiyattam, Katpadi and Arakkonam. Train No.06346 will stop at Perambur also; Train No.06345 will stop at Ernakulam Town also.
2) Tirunelveli – Chennai Central Special (via. Dindigul, Karur, Namakkal):
T.No.06746 Tirunelveli – Chennai Central special will leave Tirunelveli at 18.00 hrs. on 12.09.2013 and arrive Chennai Central at 08.30 hrs. the next day.The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Vanchi Maniyachchi, Kovilpatti, Sattur, Virudhunagar, Madurai, Dindigul, Karur, Mohanur, Namakkal, Rasipuram, Jolarpettai, Vaniyambadi, Gudiyattam, Katpadi, Arakkonam and Perambur.
3) Chennai Central – Tirunelveli Special (via. Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thiruvananthapuram, Nagercoil):
T.No.06745 Chennai Central – Tirunelveli special will leave Chennai Central at 15.15 hrs. on 13.09.2013 and arrive Tirunelveli at 11.00 hrs. the next day.The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Gudiyattam, Vaniyambadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur, Kayankulam, Kollam, Thiruvananthapuram, Neyyattinkara, Kulitturai, Eraniel, Nagercoil Town and Valliyur.
