To clear the extra rush of holiday makers during Puja holidays 2014, Eastern Railway will run one Premium (weekly) Special train between Sealdah and Guwahati leaving both from Sealdah and Guwahati stations on every Saturday between 27 September and 11 October, 2014 (.i.e. on 27/9/2014, 4/10/2014 & 11/10/2014 ; total 3 trips).
02261 Up Sealdah – Guwahati Premium Special train will leave Sealdah at 12.30 a.m. (midnight) and will reach Guwahati at 4:50 p.m. on the same day.
In return journey, 02262 Dn Guwahati – Sealdah Premium Special train will leave Guwahati at 8:15 p.m. and will reach Sealdah at 12:30 p.m. (noon) on the next day.
This train will have AC 2-Tier and AC 3-Tier accommodations and will stop at Malda Town, New Jalpaiguri, New Cooch Bihar & New Bongaigaon stations enroute in both directions.
