For the convenience of passengers during Ganesh Festival, 12 trips of Ganpati Special trains have been scheduled to run between Vasai Road and Ratnagiristations.


00117/00118 Vasai  Road – Ratnagiri  Special Train (12 Trips)

Train No.00117 Vasai Road-Ratnagiri Special Train will leave Vasai Road at 13.45 hrs and reach Ratnagiri at 21.50 hrs, o­n same day. Similarly, in return direction Train No.00118 Ratnagiri- Vasai Road Special Train will leave Ratnagiri at 05.15 hrs and will arrive Vasai Road at 13.00 hrs, the same day.

Train Nos. 00117/00118 will run o­n 26th, 27th & 29thAugust and o­n 2nd, 5th & 9th September, 2014 from Vasai Road & Ratnagiri respectively.

These special trains will halt at Panvel ,Roha, Mangaon, Veer, Khed, Chiplun, Savarda & Sangameshwar stations in both the directions.

The train will have II Seating reserved Coaches and Second Class General Coaches.

Central Railway will augment following trains to clear the wait listed passengers and extra rush of passengers during Ganapati Festival. This is in addition to running 126 specials already announced to be run during the festival. The augmentation of existing trains will generate 1089 reserved and 6480 unreserved accommodation, the details of which are as under-

Train No.09009 Bandra(T)– Madgaon Special Train will leave Bandra(T) at 00.15 hrs o­n every Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday from 2nd September to 21st September , 2013. It will reach Madgaon at 16.30 hrs, on same day.

Similarly, in return direction train No.09010 Madgaon – Bandra(T) Special Train will leave Madgaon at 20.00 hrs o­n every Monday, Wednesday, Friday & Saturday from 2nd September to 21st September, 2013. It will arrive at Bandra(T) at 13.20 hrs, the next day.

Train No. 00113 will leave Diva at 4.10 p.m. o­n 17.9, 19.9, 21.9, 23.09, 25.09, 27.09, 29.09 & 01.10.2012 and will reach Madgaon at 5.00 a.m. next day.

Train No.00114 will leave Madgaon at 1.00 a.m. o­n 17.9, 19.9, 21.9, 23.09, 25.09, 27.09, 29.09 & 1.10.2012 and will reach Diva at 3.30 p.m. same day.
