One Full AC First class coach to be attached in Devgiri Express

Railways have decided to attach o­ne full AC first class coach in place of First AC cum AC 2-tier coach in Train No. 17057/17058 Mumbai-Secunderabad Devgiri Express o­n permanent basis for the convenience of passengers.  The details of replacement of coach as under: -

 The full AC first class coach will be attached to Train No. 17057 Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus - Secunderabad Devgiri Express w.e.f. 26.7.2016 and Train No. 17058 Secunderabad – Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Devgiri Express w.e.f. 25.7.2016 in lieu of o­ne First AC cum AC 2-tier.

The following trains will be permanently augmented as explained below.

Train No.12647/12648 Coimbatore – Hazrat Nizamuddin – Coimbatore Kongu weekly express trains will be permanently augmented by 1 second class sleeper coach ex. Coimbatore from 22.03.2015 and ex. Hazrat Nizamuddin from 25.03.2015.

Train No.12664/12663 Tiruchchirappalli – Howrah – Tiruchchirappalli bi-weekly express trains will be permanently augmented by 1 AC 3-tier coach ex. Tiruchchirappalli from 20.03.2015 and ex. Howrah from 22.03.2015.

Train No.12682/12681 Coimbatore – Chennai Central – Coimbatore weekly express trains will be permanently augmented by 1 second class sleeper coach ex. Coimbatore from 20.03.2015 and ex. Chennai Central from 21.03.2015.

AUGMENTATION OF EXPRESS TRAINS

In order to cater to the extra rush of rail passengers and to enhance the passenger carrying capacity, Railway has decided to augment the train no. 11071/11072 Lokmanya Tilak T.- Varanasi- Lokmanya Tilak T. Kamayani Express o­nPermanent basis & 12501/12502 Guwahati- New Delhi- Guwahati Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express o­n Temporary basis as under:

Permanent Augmentation:

The 11071/11072 Lokmanya Tilak T.- Varanasi- Lokmanya Tilak T. Kamayani Express Train will be augmented by one additional AC 3 Tier Coach from 17.03.2015 when departing from Lokmanya Tilak T.  and from 19.03.2015 when departing from  Varanasi.

Temporary Augmentation:

The 12501/12502 Guwahati- New Delhi- Guwahati Poorvottar Sampark Kranti Express Train will be augmented by one additional First AC cum AC 2 Tier Coach upto 31.03.2015 when departing from Guwahati  and upto 01.04.2015 when departing from  New Delhi with immediate effect.

Other features like route, timings, stoppages etc. will remain unchanged.

PERMANENT AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

Train No.12632/12631 Tirunelveli – Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli Nellai express trains have been permanently augmented by 1 AC 3-tier coach ex. Tirunelveli from 12.03.2015 and ex. Chennai Egmore from 15.03.2015.

Train No.12661/12662 Chennai Egmore – Sengottai – Chennai Egmore Podhigai express trains have been permanently augmented by 1 AC 3-tier coach ex. Chennai Egmore from 13.03.2015 and ex. Sengottai from 14.03.2015.

PERMANENT AUGMENTATION

Central Railway will augment following express trains by o­ne additional AC-3 tier / Sleeper coach o­n permanent basis with effect from the date mentioned, for the benefit of passengers. The details are as under-

c) 22113 / 22114 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus - Kochuveli Express - o­ne 3AC  coach with effect from 17.3.2015
d) 11023 / 11024 Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus Mumbai - Shri Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Terminus ( Kolhapur ) Sahyadri Express - o­ne sleeper class coach with effect from 14.3.2015.

AC coach added in the Guwahati – Secunderabad Express train

To ease the rush of passengers, o­ne additional AC 3 tier coach will be added in the 12514 / 12513 Guwahati - Secunderabad weekly express train o­n permanent basis. The additional coach will be attached from Guwahati w.e.f. 25th September and from Secunderabad w.e.f. 28th September, 2014.

Permanent Augmentation of Ten Express Trains

  South Central Railway will augment the following ten express trains with additional Coaches o­n permanent basis as per the details mentioned below:-

1.Train No. 17211 Machilipatnam - Yesvantpur Tri-weekly Kondaveedu Express will be augmented with two additional Sleeper Class Coach with effect from 18th July, 2014.

2.Train No. 17212 Yesvantpur - Machilipatnam Tri-weekly Kondaveedu Express will be augmented with two additional Sleeper Class Coach with effect from 19th July, 2014.

3.Train No. 17010 Secunderabad - Bidar Intercity Express will be augmented with o­ne additional General Second Class Coach with effect from 18th July, 2014.

4.Train No. 17009 Bidar - Hyderabad Intercity Express will be augmented with o­ne additional General Second Class Coach with effect from 19th July, 2014.

5.Train No. 17011 Hyderabad - Sirpurkaghaznagar Intercity Express will be augmented with o­ne additional General Second Class Coach with effect from 18th July, 2014.

6.Train No. 17012 Sirpurkaghaznagar - Secunderabad Intercity Express will be augmented with o­ne additional General Second Class Coach with effect from 18th July, 2014.

7.Train No. 12764 Secunderabad - Tirupati Padmavathi Express will be augmented with one additional AC III Tier Coach with effect from 17th July, 2014.

8.Train No. 12763 Tirupati - Secunderabad Padmavathi Express will be augmented with one additional AC III Tier Coach with effect from 18th July, 2014.

9.Train No. 12732 Secunderabad - Tirupati Bi-weekly SF Express will be augmented with one additional AC III Tier Coach with effect from 22nd July, 2014.

10.Train No. 12731 Tirupati - Secunderabad Bi-weekly SF Express will be augmented with one additional AC III Tier Coach with effect from 23rd July, 2014.

PERMANENT AUGMENTS FOR GORAKHPUR-YESVANTPUR-GORAKHPUR WEEKLY EXPRESS

North Eastern Railway(NER) has advised to augment permanently with one additional 3-tier AC coach and one additional Second Class Sleeper Coach for Train Nos.15015/15016 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur Express.Similarly, Two additional Second Class Sleeper coaches will be attached by Train No.15023/15024 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur Weekly Express, as per the dates mentioned against each below:--

Accordingly, Train No.15015 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur Weekly Express will be attached with One additional AC 3-tier coach and one additional Second Class Sleeper Coach permanently, from GORAKHPUR end, from 01st September, 2014 (Total coaches after augmentation : 23 coaches ).



In the return direction, Tr. No.15016 Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur Weekly Express will be attached with one additional AC 3-tier coach and one additional Second Class Sleeper Coach permanently, from YESVANTPUR end, from 03rd September, 2014 ( Total coaches after augmentation : 23 coaches).



Similarly, Train No.15023 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur Weekly Express will be attached with Two additional Second Class Sleeper Coaches permanently, from GORAKHPUR end, from 01st July, 2014 (Total coaches after augmentation : 23 coaches instead of 21 coaches earlier).



In the return direction, Tr. No.15024 Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur Weekly Express will be attached with Two additional Second Class Sleeper Coaches permanently, from YESVANTPUR end, from 03rd July, 2014 ( Total coaches after augmentation : 23 coaches instead of 21 coaches earlier).



The revised composition after augmentation of above trains,will have total 23 coaches, consisting of One AC 2-tier coach, Three AC 3-tier coaches, Eleven Second Class Sleeper coaches, Six General Second Class coaches, One Second Class cum Luggage cum Brake Van, One Second Class luggage-cum-brake van-cum-disabled coach.

AUGMENTS TRAIN NO. 16227/16228 BANGALORE CITY –TALAGUPPA –BANGALORE CITY EXPRESS

South Western Railway has decided to augment Train No. 16227/16228 BANGALORE CITY –TALAGUPPA –BANGALORE CITY EXPRESS with One additional AC 3-Tier coach and One additional First Class AC Coach duly replacing One AC First Class- cum- 3-tier AC Coach and One General Second Class Coach, with effect from 01st July,2014 from Bangalore City end and from 02nd July, 2014 from Talaguppa end.

Accordingly, the composition of T.No. 16227 Bangalore City-Talaguppa Express will have total 19 coaches comprising of ONE First Class AC coach, TWO AC-3 tier Coaches, ONE First Class Coach,SEVEN Second Class Sleeper Coaches,SIX General Second Class Coaches, ONE Second Class Luggage- cum- Brake Van and ONE Second Class Luggage- Cum- Brake Van - Cum -Disabled Coach, with effect from 01st July, 2014, from BANGALORE CITY end.

In the return direction, the composition of T.No. 16228 Talaguppa- Bangalore City Express will have total 19 coaches comprising of ONE First Class AC coach, TWO AC-3 tier Coaches, ONE First Class Coach,SEVEN Second Class Sleeper Coaches,SIX General Second Class Coaches, ONE Second Class Luggage –cum- Brake Van and ONE Second Class Luggage- Cum- Brake Van – Cum- Disabled Coach, with effect from 02nd July, 2014, from TALGUPPA end.

As a result, the composition of following trains will have total 16 Coaches instead of 17, comprising of ONE First Class Coach, SEVEN Second Class Sleeper Coaches, SIX General Second Class Coaches, ONE Second Class Luggage- Cum- Brake Van and ONE Second Class Luggage- Cum- Brake Van- Cum- Disabled Coach with effect from the dates mentioned against each below:

Accordingly, the Train No. 56234, Mysore-Bangalore City Passenger will run with a total composition of 16 coaches as mentioned above,(with effect from 01st July, 2014);Train No. 56217/56218 Talaguppa-Shimoga Town-Talaguppa Passenger(from 02nd July,2014); Train No. 56233 Bangalore City-Mysore Passenger train, T.No. 56210 Mysore- Chamarajanagar Passenger, T.No. 56213 Chamarajnagar- Tirupati Fast Passengers (from 03rd July, 2014);T.No. 16204/16203 Tirupati-Chennai-Tirupati Express, T.No. 56214 Tirupati-Chamarajnagar Fast Passenger (from 04th July, 2014) and T.No. 56209 Chamarajnagar-Mysore Passenger (with effect from 05th July, 2014).

Augmentation of First AC Accommodation

Railways will augment the following trains by attaching o­ne First class air-conditioned coach.

Train no 22866 Puri–Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express from 03/06/2014.

Train no 22865 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus–Puri Express from 05/06/2014.  

Train no 18407 Puri–Sainagar Shirdi Express from 06/06/2014.

Train no 18406 Sainagar Shirdi–Puri Express from 08/06/2014.

REVISED COMPOSITION OF THE ABOVE TRAINS:

One First AC, o­ne AC-2 Tier, Four AC-3 Tier, Pantry car, Nine Sleeper class,4 General Second class and 2 General Second class cum Guard’s Brake vans. Train no 22866/22865 Express will have a Parcel Van in addition to the above coaches.

RESERVATION: Bookings for First AC accommodation in 22865 and 18406 will open from 1.6.2014.

PERMANENT AUGMENTATION

In order to cater to the extra rush of rail passengers and to enhance the passenger carrying capacity of trains ,the Railway has decided to augment the train nos. 12259/12260 Sealdah – New Delhi Duronto Express by one additional A.C. 3 tier coach on permanent basis as under :-

The 12259/12260 Sealdah – New Delhi Duronto Express will be augmented by one additional A.C. 3 Tier coach from 11/05/2014 when departing from Sealdah and from 12/05/2014 when departing from New Delhi.

Increase in frequency of running of train no. 09417/09418 Ahmedabad –Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Ahmedabad “Premium” A.C. “Super Fast” special train from bi-weekly to tri-weekly

  In order to clear extra rush, Railway has decided to increase in frequency of running of train no. 09417/09418 Ahmedabad –Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Ahmedabad “Premium” A.C. “Super Fast” special train from bi-weekly to tri-weekly  from 02.05.2014 upto 31.05.2014. and augmentation of the same train as per the following programme-

Increase In Frequency

The 09417 Ahmedabad-Delhi Sarai Rohilla “Premium” A.C. “Super Fast” special trainwill run o­n every Sunday,Tuesday &Friday on 2, 4, 6, 9, 11, 13, 16, 18, 20, 23, 25, 27&30 May 2014 from Ahmedabad.(Total 13 trips)

In the return direction, the 09418 Delhi Sarai Rohilla - Ahmedabad“Premium” A.C. “Super Fast” special train will run on every Monday ,Wednesday& Saturday o­n 3, 5, 7, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 24, 26, 28 & 31 May 2014 from Delhi Sarai Rohilla. (Total 13 trips).

Augmentation

The 09417/09418 Ahmedabad –Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Ahmedabad “Premium” A.C. “Super Fast” special train will also be augmented by o­ne additional A.C. 2 Tier Coach from both the directions.

The other features viz. timings, stoppages &route etc. will remain unchanged.

EXTRA COACHES BY WESTERN RAILWAYS

To clear waiting list, 4 pairs of trains i.e. 11095/96 Ahmedabad – Pune Ahimsha Express, 11091/92  Bhuj – Pune Express, 11087/88 Veraval – Pune Express, 11089/90 Jodhpur – Pune  Express have been augmented by o­ne coach each o­n permanent basis.

One III AC coach is added extra in 11095/96 Ahmedabad – Pune Ahimsha Express w.e.f 03rd April, 2014 Ex Ahmedabad. After augmentation, now Ahmedabad – Pune Ahimsha Express will run with 19 coaches.

One III AC coach is added extra in 11091/92 Bhuj – Pune Express w.e.f 02nd April, 2014 Ex Bhuj. After augmentation, now Bhuj – Pune Express will run with 19 coaches.

One III AC coach is added extra in 11087/88 Veraval – Pune Express w.e.f. 29th March, 2014 Ex Veraval. After augmentation, now Veraval – Pune Express will run with 19 coaches.

Similarly, o­ne III AC coaches is added extra in 11089/90 Jodhpur – Pune Express w.e.f 01st April, 2014 Ex Jodhpur. After augmentation, now Jodhpur – Pune Express will run with 19 coaches.

These trains run via Vasai Road.    

ADDITIONAL AC 3-TIER COACH FOR BHUBANESWAR-BANGALORE CITY EXPRESS

East coast Railway(ECOR) has decided to augment permanently with o­ne additional A.C. 3-tier Coach for Train Nos.18463/18464 BHUBANESWAR-BANGALORE CITY-YESVANTPUR EXPRESS, as per the following details:--

Accordingly, Train No.18463 BHUBANESWAR-YESVANTPUR EXPRESS will be attached with one additional A.C. 3-tier coach permanently, from BHUBANESWAR end, from 15th April, 2014 ­onwards (Total coaches after augmentation : 23 coaches instead of 22 as at present).

             In the return direction, Tr. No.18464 YESVANTPUR-BHUBANESWAR EXPRESSwill be attached with one additional A.C. 3-tier coach permanently from YESVANTPUR end, from 16th April, 2014 onwards.( Total coaches after augmentation : 23 coaches instead of 22 as at present).

The revised composition after augmentation with o­ne additional AC 3-tier coach for the above Express,will have total 23 coaches, consisting of One AC 2-tier coach, Four AC 3-tier coaches, Eleven Second Class Sleeper coaches, Four General Second Class coaches, o­ne Second Class cum Luggage cum Brake Van, One Second Class luggage-cum-brake van-cum-disabled coach and a Pantry Car.

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during summer season, South Central Railway will temporarily augment the following Express Trains with additional coaches:-

1.Train No. 12220 Secunderabad-Mumbai LTT Bi-weekly Express  will be augmented with o­ne AC II Tier and o­ne AC III tier coach from 1st to 29th April, 2014

2.Train No. 12219 Mumbai LTT - Secunderabad Bi-weekly Express will be augmented with o­ne AC II Tier and o­ne AC III tier coach from 2nd to 30th April, 2014

3.Train No. 12774 Secunderabad-Shalimar AC Weekly Express will be augmented with o­ne AC III Tier coach from 1st to 29th April, 2014

4.Train No. 12773 Shalimar- Secunderabad AC Weekly Express will be augmented with o­ne AC III Tier coach from 2nd to 30th April, 2014

5.Train No. 12885 Secunderabad-Nizamuddin Bi-weekly Duronto Express will be augmented with o­ne AC III Tier coach from 3rdto 27th April, 2014
