Special Trains for Velankanni Festival


Central Railway will run 6 Specials between Mumbai - Velankanni to clear the extra rush of Passengers during Velankanni Festival. The details are as under -

(A) LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS-VELANKANNI-LOKMANYA TILAK TERMINUS SPECIAL TRAINS -

1. Train No. 01041 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.20 hrs o­n 25.8.2012 and will reach Velankanni at 21.45 hrs next day.

Train No. 01042 Special will leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs o­n 27.8.2012 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10.15 hrs o­n third day.

2. Train No. 01043 Special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.20 hrs o­n 26.8.2012 and will reach Velankanni at 21.45 hrs next day.

Train No. 01044 Special will leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs o­n 28.8.2012 and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 10.15 hrs o­n third day.

Composition:       o­ne AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, 12 sleeper class, 2 General Second class and 2 General second class cum guard's brake vans.

(B) DADAR (T) - VELANKANNI - DADAR (T) SPECIAL TRAINS -

3. Train No. 01045 Special will leave Dadar (T) at 11.15 hrs o­n 27.8.2012 and will reach Velankanni at 21.45 hrs next day.

Train No. 01046 Special will leave Velankanni at 20.30 hrs o­n 29.8.2012 and will arrive Dadar (T) at 10.00 hrs o­n third day.

Composition:       o­ne AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, 12 sleeper class, 5 General Second class and 2 General second class cum guard's brake vans.

Halts -   Kalyan, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Yerraguntla, Cudappah, Razampet, Kaduru, Renigunta, Puttur, Tiruttani, Katpadi, Vellore Cantt.,, Tiruvannamalai, Villupuram, Tirupadaripulliyur, Chidambaram, Sirkazhi, Mayiladuthurai, Tiruvarur and Nagapattinam.

SPECIAL TRAINS FOR VELANKANNI FESTIVAL

The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush in connection with the Velankanni Festival.

1.Chennai Egmore – Nagapattinam Special. Train No. 0613 Chennai Egmore – Nagapattinam Special will leave Chennai Egmore on 06.09.2010 (Monday) at 22.45 hrs. and arrive Nagapattinam at 07.45 hrs. the next day.    The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 8 Sleeper Class,  3 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van  coaches. The train will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tiruppadiripuliyur, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur and Tiruvarur. 

2.Nagapattinam – Dadar Special.         Train No. 0614 Nagapattinam – Dadar Special will leave Nagapattinam on 08.09.2010 (Wednesday) at 23.30 hrs. and arrive Dadar at 14.00 hrs on 10.09.2010.    The  composition   of   the  train will be 1  AC  2-tier,  1  AC 3-tier,  8   Sleeper   Class,   3   General   Second   Class  and 2 luggage-cum-brake van  coaches.  The train will stop at Tiruvarur, Thanjavur, Mayiladuthurai, Villupuram, Chengalpattu, Arakkonam, Renigunta, Cudappah, Gooty, Guntakal, Manthralayam Road, Raichur, Wadi, Gulbarga, Solapur, Pune, Lonavala and Kalyan.

Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on 08.08.2010

SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN CHENNAI EGMORE AND NAGAPATTINAM

Southern Railway will run the following special trains in order to clear the extra rush in connection with the Velankanni Festival.

Chennai Egmore – Nagapattinam – Chennai Egmore Specials: T.No.0619 Chennai Egmore – Nagapattinam special will leave Chennai Egmore at 22.45 hrs. on 28.8.2010, 30.8.2010, 2.9.2010 & 4.9.2010 and arrive Nagapattinam at 06.55 hrs. the next day.  T.No.0620 Nagapattinam – Chennai Egmore Special will leave Nagapattinam at 22.30 hrs. on 29.8.2010, 31.8.2010, 3.9.2010 & 5.9.2010 and arrive Chennai Egmore at 07.20 hrs. the next day.  The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 8 Sleeper Class, 3 General Second Class & 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Tiruppadiripuliyur, Chidambaram, Mayiladuthurai, Kumbakonam, Thanjavur and Tiruvarur.  T.No.0620 will stop at Mambalam also.

Advance reservation for the above trains will commence on 30.7.2010.
