North Eastern Railway(NER) has advised to augment permanently with one additional 3-tier AC coach and one additional Second Class Sleeper Coach for Train Nos.15015/15016 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur Express.Similarly, Two additional Second Class Sleeper coaches will be attached by Train No.15023/15024 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur Weekly Express, as per the dates mentioned against each below:--

Accordingly, Train No.15015 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur Weekly Express will be attached with One additional AC 3-tier coach and one additional Second Class Sleeper Coach permanently, from GORAKHPUR end, from 01st September, 2014 (Total coaches after augmentation : 23 coaches ).



In the return direction, Tr. No.15016 Yesvantpur-Gorakhpur Weekly Express will be attached with one additional AC 3-tier coach and one additional Second Class Sleeper Coach permanently, from YESVANTPUR end, from 03rd September, 2014 ( Total coaches after augmentation : 23 coaches).



Similarly, Train No.15023 Gorakhpur-Yesvantpur Weekly Express will be attached with Two additional Second Class Sleeper Coaches permanently, from GORAKHPUR end, from 01st July, 2014 (Total coaches after augmentation : 23 coaches instead of 21 coaches earlier).

South Western Railway has decided to augment Train No. 16227/16228 BANGALORE CITY –TALAGUPPA –BANGALORE CITY EXPRESS with One additional AC 3-Tier coach and One additional First Class AC Coach duly replacing One AC First Class- cum- 3-tier AC Coach and One General Second Class Coach, with effect from 01st July,2014 from Bangalore City end and from 02nd July, 2014 from Talaguppa end.

Accordingly, the composition of T.No. 16227 Bangalore City-Talaguppa Express will have total 19 coaches comprising of ONE First Class AC coach, TWO AC-3 tier Coaches, ONE First Class Coach,SEVEN Second Class Sleeper Coaches,SIX General Second Class Coaches, ONE Second Class Luggage- cum- Brake Van and ONE Second Class Luggage- Cum- Brake Van - Cum -Disabled Coach, with effect from 01st July, 2014, from BANGALORE CITY end.

In the return direction, the composition of T.No. 16228 Talaguppa- Bangalore City Express will have total 19 coaches comprising of ONE First Class AC coach, TWO AC-3 tier Coaches, ONE First Class Coach,SEVEN Second Class Sleeper Coaches,SIX General Second Class Coaches, ONE Second Class Luggage –cum- Brake Van and ONE Second Class Luggage- Cum- Brake Van – Cum- Disabled Coach, with effect from 02nd July, 2014, from TALGUPPA end.

TEMPORARY STOPPAGE AT NERLAKATTE STATION

South Western Railway has decided to provide one minute stoppage at NERLAKATTE station situated between Kabakaputtur-Bantawal stations on Mysore Division for Train Nos.56642/56643 Kabakaputtur-Mangalore-Kabakaputtur Passengers; Train Nos. 56644/56645 Mangalore-Kabakaputtur-Mangalore Passengers & Train Nos.56646/56647 Subrahmanya Road-Mangalore-Subrahmanya Road Passengers on experimental basis with effect from 30th May, 2014 to 30th September, 2014.

Premium Special trains

The Southern Railway has introduced weekly special premium trains through Chennai to the Bangalore-Patna and Bhubaneswar-Yeswantpur segments.

The Patna – Bangalore Cantonment weekly special (02353) will leave Patna at 11.30 p.m. on Thursdays, leave Chennai Central at 1.30 p.m. on Saturdays and reach Bangalore Cantonment at 6.55 p.m. on Saturdays. The service that began on April 17 will last till June 26. The Bangalore Cantonment – Patna special (02354) will leave Bangalore Cantonment at 3.30 p.m. on Sundays, leave Chennai Central at 9.10 p.m. on Sundays and reach Patna at 9.45 a.m. on Tuesdays from April 20 to June 29.

The trains will stop at Mughalsarai, Jabalpur, Nagpur, Vijayawada and Chennai Central. The Bhubaneswar – Yesvantpur special (00851) will leave Bhubaneswar at noon on Wednesdays, leave Jolarpettai at 9.32 a.m. on Thursdays and reach Yesvantpur at 11 a.m. on Thursdays. The service that began on April 16 will end on June 25.

The Yesvantpur – Bhubaneswar special (00852) will leave Yesvantpur at 11.30 p.m. on Thursdays, leave Jolarpettai at 2.25 a.m. on Fridays and reach Bhubaneswar at 10.45 p.m. on Fridays. The service began on April 17 and last till June 26. The trains will stop at Brahmapur, Visakhapatinam, Vijayawada, Renigunta and Jolarpettai.

Temporary halt

South Western Railway has decided to continue the temporary halt provided for one minute at Hanakere station, situated between Maddur and Mandya stations on Mysore Division, for Train Nos. 56213/56214 Chamarajanagar- Tirupati- Chamarajanagar Passenger till June 30, a release said. Accordingly, Train No. 56213 Chamarajnagar-Tirupati Passenger will arrive at and depart from Hanakere station at 6.03/6.04 p.m. In the return direction, Train No.56214 Tirupati-Chamarajnagar Passenger will arrive at and depart from Hanakere station at 9.03/9.04 a.m. till June 30.

REVISES COMPOSITION OF TRAIN YESVANTPUR-JAIPUR-YESVANTPUR WEEKLY EXPRESS

As per the directives of Railway Board, the composition of Train Nos.06511/06512 YESVANTPUR-JAIPUR-YESVANTPUR WEEKLY EXPRESS will be revised and run with conventional rake instead of Garibrath rake, since the existing Garibrath rake is being transferred to South Eastern Railway.The existing and REVISEDComposition are as follows:-

SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN YESVANTPUR-VASCO-DA-GAMA

South Western Railway has decided to run Weekly Superfast Express Special Trains between YESVANTPUR-HUBLI-VASCO-DA-GAMA-HUBLI-YESVANTPUR (Train Nos.02683/02684),for 12 Specials in each direction, with effect from YESVANTPUR end o­n Saturdays, with effect from 12th April, 2014 to 28th June, 2014 and from VASCO-DA-GAMA end o­n Sundays (via HUBLI), with effect from 13th April, 2014 to 29th June, 2014, to clear extra rush in ensuing Summer season.

 The timings, stoppages at en route stations and composition of Weekly Superfast Express Special services are as follows:-

 Accordingly, Train No. 02683 YESVANTPUR-VASCO-DA-GAMA (Via Hubli)WEEKLY SUPERFAST EXPRESS SPECIAL will depart from YESVANTPUR at 22-30 hrs., on Saturdays, with effect from 12th April, 2014 to 28th June 2014(Total : 12 services) and arrive/depart at HUBLI o­n Sundays at 06-40/06-45 hrs. and arrive at VASCO-DA-GAMA station at 13-00 hrs., o­n Sundays.

En route, the Superfast Weekly Express Special will arrive/depart at Tumkur at 23-40/23-42 hrs.; Arsikere at 01-20/01-25 hrs.(Sundays); Kadur at 01-58/02-00 hrs; Birur at 02-07/02-09 hrs; Davangere at 03-53/03-55 hrs.; Ranibennur at 04-48/04-50 hrs; Haveri at 05-18/05-20 hrs; HUBLI at 06-40/06-45 hrs.; DHARWAD at 07-10/07-12 hrs.; Londa at 08-33/08-35 hrs; Castle Rck at 09-20/09-30 hrs.; Kulem at 11-00/11-05 hrs; Sanvordem Curuchorem at 11-33/11-35 hrs; and arrive/depart at MADGAON at 11-55/12-00 hrs.

 In the return direction,Train No. 02684 VASCO-DA-GAMA-YESVANTPUR WEEKLY SUPERFAST EXPRESS SPECIAL will departfrom VASCO-DA-GAMAat14-30 hrs. , on Sundays, with effectfrom13th Apirl, 2014to 29th June, 2014 (Total : 12 services) and arrive at YESVANTPUR station at 04-45 hrs., o­n Mondays.

En route, the Weekly Superfast Express Special will arrive/depart at Madgoan at 15-15/15-20 hrs; Sanvordem Curuchorem at 15-28/15-30 hrs; Kulem at 16-05/16-10 hrs; Castlerock at 17-05/17-10 hrs; LONDA at 17-48/17-50 hrs; Dharwad at 19-18/19-20 hrs; HUBLI at 20-05/20-25 hrs; Haveri at 21-26/21-28 hrs; Ranebennur at 22-00/22-02 hrs; Davangere at 22-51/22-53 hrs.; Birur at 00-40/00-42 hrs; Kadur at 00-50/00-52 hrs;Arsikere at 01-30/01-35 hrs.; and arrive/depart at Tumkur at 03-28/03-30 hrs., o­n Mondays.

 The Super Fast Weekly Special Train will have total 16 coaches, consisting ofOneAC 2-tier coach, One AC 3-tier coach, Six Second Class Sleeper coaches, Six General Second Class coaches and Two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Vans.

Special trains extended

The South Central Railway has extended the run of Vijayawada-Secunderabad-Vijayawada weekly special trains via Guntur and Nalgonda during the months of April and May as per the following timings. Train no. 07207 Vijayawada-Secunderabad will depart at Vijayawada at 11 p.m. on Thursdays i.e. April 17 and 24 and May 1, 8, 15, 22 and 29 and reach Secunderabad at 5.40 a.m. the next days. Train no. 07208 Secunderabad-Vijayawada will depart at Secunderabad at 11.15 p.m. on Fridays i.e. April 18 and 25 and May 2, 9, 16, 23 and 30 and reach Vijayawada at 5.45 a.m. the next days.

South Western Railway (SWR) has decided to continue the service of the biweekly express special between Yeshwantpur and Miraj for 28 more trips in each direction.

Train no. 06517 Yeshwantpur–Miraj Biweekly Express Special will depart from Yeshwantpur at 8.40 p.m. on Mondays and Thursdays and arrive at Miraj at 10.15 a.m. the next day. The service will commence on March 31 and will operate till June 30. Train no. 06518 Miraj–Yeshwantpur Biweekly Express Special will depart from Miraj at 4.45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Fridays and reach Yeshwantpur at 6.20 a.m. the next day. The service will commence on April 1.

REVISE TIMINGS OF TRAIN HUBLI-SECUNDERABAD-HUBLI TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS SPECIAL

South Western Railway has decided to revise the timings of Train Nos. 17319/17320 HUBLI-SECUNDERABAD-HUBLI TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS with effect from 01st March, 2014, duly providing 10 minutes for watering for the trains at BIJAPUR, the details of station-wise revision of timings are as follows.The present timings are indicated in brackets.

Accordingly, Train No.17319 HUBLI-SECUNDERABAD TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS will depart at HUBLI on Wednesday, Friday & Sundays at 20-50 hrs.,(no change in the present timings), with effect from 01st March, 2014 and arrive at SECUNDERABAD at 11-45 hrs., (no change in present arrival timing), the next day.

En route, the Tri-Weekly Express will arrive/depart at Annigeri at 21-23/21-25 hrs. (21-08/21-10); GADAG at 22-00/22-10 hrs(21-45/21-55); Hole Alur at 22-58/23-00 hrs.(22-48/22-50 hrs; Badami at 23-18/23-20 hrs(23-09/23-11); Bagalkot at 23-55/23-57 hrs(23-46/23-48 ); Almatti at 00-42/00-44 hrs(00-33/00-35); Basavana bagewadi Road at 0105/01-07 hrs.(00-55/00-57); BIJAPUR at 02-00/02-10 hrs.(01-50/01-55); Indi Road at 02-58/03-00 hrs.(02-50/02-52) and arrive/depart at HOTGI at 04-10/04-20 hrs. instead of 04-10/04-15 hrs., with effect from 01st March, 2014.

There is no change in the existing timings at stations beyond HOTGI and SECUNDERABAD.

In the return direction, Train No.17320 SECUNDERABAD-HUBLI TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS will depart at SECUNDERABAD on Monday, Thursday & Saturdays at 16-00 hrs.( no change in the present departure timing), with effect from 01st March, 2014 and arrive at HUBLI station at 07-50 hrs.(no change in present arrival timing), the next day.

There is no change in the existing timings at stations between Secunderabad and Hotgi.

En route, the Tri-Weekly Express will arrive/depart at Hotgi at 23-05/23-10 hrs.(no change in present timings); Indi Road at 23-58/00-00 hrs. instead of 00-05/00-07 hrs; BIJAPUR at 01-15/01-25 hrs.(01-15/01-20); Basavanabagewadi Road at 02-15/02-17 hrs.(no change in timing); Almatti at 02-40/02-42 hrs.(02-46/02-48); Bagalkot at 03-38//03-40 hrs.(03-40/03-42); Badami at 04-15/04-17 hrs.(no change); Hole Alur at 04-40/04-42 hrs.(04-47/04-49); GADAGat 06-10/06-20 hrs(05-43/06-20); an arrive/depart at Annigeri at 06-45/06-47 hrs. instead of 07-00/07-02 hrs., with effect from 01st March, 2014.
