As announced in the last Railway Budget and with the initiative of Minister for Railways, East Coast Railway has decided to extend the services of Bhubaneswar-Hatia-Bhubaneswar Garib Rath Express up to Dhanbad w.e.f. 8th January 2011.
On its inaugural run i.e. on 8th January 2011, this train will run as a special train between Hatia & Dhanbad on open fast timings. But the regular service for this train will commence from Bhubaneswar w.e.f. 9th January 2011 and from Dhanbad w.e.f. 10th January 2011.
12832 Bhubaneswar-Hatia-Dhanbad Garib Rath tri-weekly express leaving Bhubaneswar on every Sunday, Tuesday & Friday at 08.10p.m will arrive Dhanbad at 11.00a.m on the next days.
In the return direction, 12831 Dhanbad-Bhubaneswar tri-weekly Garib Rath Express will leave Dhanbad at 04.00p.m on every Monday, Wednesday & Saturdays and will arrive Bhubaneswar at 08.15a.m on the next days.
This train has 08 Garib Rath AC-3 tier coaches and two Guard cum Generator Car Vans in its composition having stoppages at Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Talcher Road, Angul, Sambalpur City, Jharsuguda, Rourkela, Hatia, Ranchi, Muri and Bokaro Steel City between Bhubaneswar & Dhanbad.
