THE NEW RAILWAY TIME TABLE WILL BE IMPLEMENTED FROM 1ST JULY 2011. CHANGES IN THE TIMINGS OF THE TRAINS, EXTENSION OF TRAINS, INCREASE IN FREQUENCY AND CHANGE IN DAYS OF SERVICE WILL BE EFFECTIVE FROM 1ST JULY 2011.
MAJOR CHANGES IN TIMINGS with effect from 1st July 2011:
The timings of eleven numbers of trains have been changed and differed from the earlier scheduled time at different stations in East Coast Railway jurisdiction WITH EFFECT FROM 1st July 2011.
01.12278 Puri-Howrah Duronto Express will leave Puri at 06.30hrs instead of its existing scheduled departureat 06.45hrs.
02.12281 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Duronto Express will leave Bhubaneswar at 08.10hrs instead of its existingscheduled departure at 08.15hrs.
03.18477 Puri-Haridwar Utkal Express will leave Puri at 21.00hrs instead of its existing scheduled departure at 21.10hrs.
04.18473 Puri-Jodhpur Express will leave Puri at 13.30hrs instead of its existing scheduled departure at 14.30hrs.Similarly, the timings of this train at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Dhenkanal, Talcher Road, Angul and Sambalpur has been changed.
05.12146 Bhubaneswar-LTT Express will leave Bhubaneswar at 23.05hrs instead of its existing scheduled departure at 23.15hrs. Similarly, the timings of this train at Cuttack, Dhenkanal & Talcher has been changed.
06.The timings of 18415 Barbil-Puri Express has been changed from the existing scheduled timings between Nayagarh and Puri.This train will leave Nayagarh at 14.47 hrs instead of its existing scheduled time at 11.51 hrs.The timings of this train at different stations between the above two stations have been changed.
07.12749 Visakhapatnam-LTT Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 08.45 hrs instead of its existingscheduled departure at09.00hrs.
08.58132 Puri-Rourkela Passenger will leave Puri at 03.30hrs instead of its existingscheduled departure at 04.00hrs. The timings of this train at some stations have also been changed.
09.18518 Visakhapatnam-Korba Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 20.00hrs instead of its existing scheduled departure at 19.15hrs.
10.12840 Chennai-Howrah Mail will leave Bhadrak at 23.30hrs instead of its existing scheduled departure at 23.20hrs.
11.18646 Hyderabad-Howrah East Coast Express will leave Bhadrak at 10.40hrs instead of its existing scheduled departure at 10.30hrs.
EXTENSION OF TRAINS:
01.18509/18510 Visakhapatnam-Nizamabad Express has been extended to Nandedw.e.f. 2ndJuly 2011. This train will leave Visakhapatnam at 19.30hrs and will arrive at Nanded at 14.35hrs on the next day. In the return direction, this train will leave Nanded at 16.15hrs w.e.f 3rd July-2011 and will arrive Visakhapatnam at 10.15hrs on the next days.
02.18309/18310 Sambalpur-Nizamabad Express has been extended to Nanded w.e.f. 1st July 2011. This train will leave Sambalpur at 09.00hrs and will arrive at Nanded at 14.35hrs on the next day. In the return direction, this train will leave Nanded at 16.15hrs w.e.f 2nd July-2011 and will arrive Sambalpur at 20.15hrs on the next days. Both these trains will stop at Basar & Mudkhed between Nizamabad & Nanded.
INCREASE IN FREQUENCY:
18105/18106 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Express will run daily w.e.f 1st July -2011 instead ofits existingscheduledof six days in a week.
CHANGE IN THE DAYS OF SERVICE:
18411/18412 Bhubaneswar-Visakhapatnam-Bhubaneswar Intercity express which was running six days in a week except Sundaywill run six days in a weekexcept Thursday w.e.f. 1stJuly 2011.
The change in timings of the above trains, extension of trains, increase in frequency and change in the days of service will commence from 1st July 2011.
CHANGE OF TRAIN NUMBERS
01.12421/12422 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express via Adra will run with new number as 22811/22812 w.e.f. 2nd September from New Delhi and w.e.f. 3rd September 2011 from Bhubaneswar.
02.Similarly, 12443/12444 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express via Tata will run with its new number 22823/22824 w.e.f. 1st September from both the directions.
CHANGE IN THE DAYS & TIMINGS OF THE TRAIN
01.18507 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 23.50hrs on every Monday, Thursday and Friday instead of 00.10hrs on every Tuesday, Friday and Saturday w.e.f. 02.09.2011.
NEW TRAINS:
01.It has been decided to introduce Puri-Shalimar-Puri weekly superfast w.e.f. 5th July2011 from Puri and w.e.f. 6th July from Shalimar. 22836 Puri-Shalimar weekly superfast express will leave Puri at 22.15hrs on every Tuesday and will arrive Shalimar at 07.20hrs on the next day. In the return direction, 22835 Shalimar-Puri Express will leave Shalimar at 21.00hrs on every Wednesday and will arrive Puri at 05.55hrs on the following day. This trainwill stop at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Belda, Kharagpur and Santragachi between Puri & Shalimar having One AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, Nine Sleeper Classes, Six General Second Class coaches and two Guard cum luggage vans in its composition.
02.It has also been decided to introduce Shalimar-Visakhapatnam-Shalimar weekly superfast w.e.f. 5th July from Shalimar and w.e.f. 6th July from Visakhapatnam. 22853 Shalimar-Visakhapatnam weekly superfast express will leave Shalimar at 18.15hrs on every Tuesday and will arrive Visakhapatnam at 08.20hrs on the next day. In the return direction, 22854 Visakhapatnam-Shalimari Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 13.45hrs on every Wednesday and will arrive Shalimar at 03.30hrs on the following day. This train will stop at Simhachalam, Vizianagaram, Srikakulam Road, Palasa, Sompeta, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Kharagpur and Santragachi between Visakhapatnam & Shalimar having Two AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, Ten Sleeper Classes, Two General Second Class coaches and two Guard cum luggage vans in its composition.
Apart from this, One new Tri-weekly non-AC Duronto Express between Puri & Sealdah, One new tri-weekly AC Duronto Express between Visakhapatnam & Secunderabad, One new tri-weekly Rajya Rani Express train between Bhubaneswar & Jharsuguda, One new weekly superfast train between Puri & Digha, One new weekly superfast train between Visakhapatnam & Digha, One new train between Koraput & Visakhapatnam, One weekly new super fast train between Villuparam & Purulia, One weekly new superfast train between Villupuram & Kharagpur, One weekly new super fast train between Gandhidham & Puri, One weekly new superfast train between Howrah & Mysore, One weekly new superfast train between Shalimar & Secunderabad, One weekly new superfast Vivek train between Santragachhi & Mangalore, One weekly new Vivek train between Dibrugarh & Kanyakumari have been included in the new time-table. Similarly, One Daily Passenger train between Sambalpur & Koraput, one new Fast Passenger train between Bhubaneswar & Kendujhargarh via Naraj have also been included in the new Time Table.
