The following special trains will be run to clear the extra rush of passengers during Ramzan, Vinayaga Chathurthi & Onam Festival seasons.

1)Madurai – Yesvantpur – Madurai Specials. T.No.06702 Madurai – Yesvantpur Special will leave Madurai at 21.10 hrs. on 29.8.2011 and arrive Yesvantpur at 11.10 hrs. the next day. T.No.06701 Yesvantpur – Madurai Special will leave Yesvantpur at 22.45 hrs. on 30.8.2011 and arrive Madurai at 12.30 hrs. the next day. The composition of the trains will be 1 First Class, 1 AC 3-tier, 5 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.The trains will stop at Kodaikanal Road, Dindigul, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Chinna Salem, Attur, Salem Town, Salem, Dharmapuri, Hosur and Banaswadi.

2)Ernakulam – Bangalore – Ernakulam Super Fast Specials (Via Jolarpettai):T.No.06346 Ernakulam – Bangalore Super Fast Special will leave Ernakulam Jn. at 17.00 hrs. on 08.09.2011 and arrive Bangalore at 04.20 hrs. next day.T.No. 06345 Bangalore – Ernakulam Super Fast Special will leave Bangalore at 18.50 hrs. on 09.09.2011 and arrive Ernakulam Jn. at 06.30 hrs. next day.The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 7 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.The trains will stop at Aluva, Thrisur, Ottapalam, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Bangarapet, Krishnarajapuram and Bangalore Cantt.
