A pair of special weekly trains will be running between Visakhapattinam and Kollam via Kottayam to clear extra rush of passengers with immediate effect, till 26th October 2012.
Train No. 08570, will leave Kollam junction at 21: 10 hrs on all Fridays between 14th September to 26th October 2012 and will reach Visakhapattinam at 01:25 hrs on Sundays. Train No 08569, will leave Visakhapattinam at 09: 00 hrs on all Thursdays between 20th Sep to 25thOctober 2012 to reach Kollam at 16 : 00 hrs on Fridays.
With a composition of one 2AC, one 3AC, 8 sleeper, 4 General, and 2 luggage cum break vans, the Trains will have stoppages at Kayankulam, Chengannur, Thiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrisur, Ottappalam, Palakkad, Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Salem, Jolarpettai, Katpady, Thirupathy, Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, ongole, Chirala, Tenali, Vijayawada, Eluru, Thadepalligudem, Rajamundry, Samalkot, Annavaram, Tuni, Annakapalli and Duvvada stations.
