Railways extends 3 DEMU trains to Katra
The new rail section between Udhampur – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra has been opened for people from Friday.
The following DEMU trains presently running between Pathankot – Jammu Tawi to Udhampur will be extended to run to and fro Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra.
The 74909 Pathankot – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Daily DEMU train will depart from Jammu Tawi daily at 7:45 AM to reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 9:55 AM the same day, while in the return direction, the 74910 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra- Pathankot Daily DEMU train will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 2:50 PM to reach Jammu Tawi at 4:55 PM the same day.
The 74905 Pathankot – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Daily DEMU train will depart from Jammu Tawi daily at 12:10 Noon to reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 2:10 PM the same day, while in the return direction, the 74908 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra- Pathankot Daily DEMU train will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 9:45 AM to reach Jammu Tawi at 11:55 Noon the same day.
The 74907 Pathankot – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra (5 days a week except Saturday and Sunday) DEMU train will depart from Jammu Tawi at 5:20 PM to reach Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 7:35 PM the same day, while in the return direction, the 74906 Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra- Pathankot (5 days a week except Saturday and Sunday) DEMU train will depart from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra at 7:30 AM to reach Jammu Tawi at 9:25 AM the same day.
The 74909/74910 Pathankot – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Daily DEMU, 74905/74908 Pathankot – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra Daily DEMU and 74907/74906 Pathankot – Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra DEMU trains will stop at Udhampur and Chak Rakhwal stations enroute on extended portion in both the directions from 4th July 2014.

INTRODUCTION OF NEW DEMU TRAIN BETWEEN DELHI SARAI ROHILLA- FARUKH NAGAR (SIX DAYS A WEEK)
The new DEMU train as announced in the rail budget 2012-13 will be introduced to run between Delhi Sarai Rohilla/Garhi Harsaru-Farukh Nagar-Delhi Sarai Rohilla from 06.06.2013. with the introduction of the new train No. 74032/74033 passengerswill get following trains services to commute between Delhi Sarai Rohilla -Garhi Harsaru-Farukh Nagar as per the schedule given below:-
The 74032 Farukh Nagar- Delhi Sarai Rohilla DEMU train will depart from Farukh Nagar at 7.00 a.m. to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 8.35 a.m. the same day.The 74032 Farukh Nagar- Delhi Sarai Rohilla DEMU train will stop at Sultanpur Kaliwas Halt, Garhi Harsaru, Basai Dhankot Halt, Gurgaon, Bijwasan, Shahbad Mohammadpur Halt, Palam, Delhi Cantt. & Patel Nagar stations enroute.
The 74033 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Farukh Nagar (Six Days a Week) DEMU train will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 08.50 a.m. except Sunday to reach Farukh Nagar at 10.25 a.m. the same day.The 74033 Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Farukh Nagar- Delhi Sarai Rohilla (Six Days a Week) DEMU train will stop at Patel Nagar, Delhi Cantt., Palam, Shahbad Mohammadpur Halt, Bijwasan, Gurgaon,Basai Dhankot Halt, Garhi Harsaru & Sultanpur Kaliwas Haltstations enroute.

WR INTRODUCES NEW CHOTA UDEPUR-VADODARA DEMU SERVICE
Western Railway will introduce new 79456/79455 Chota Udepur – Vadodara DEMU train from 8th April, 2013 Ex Chota Udepur and from 9th April, 2013 Ex Vadodara.
The inaugural service will be run as Train No.79456 Ex Chota Udepur at 15.30 hrs on 8th April, 2013. It will reach Vadodara at 18.45 hrs the same day.
In its regular run, Train No. 79456 Chota Udepur - Vadodara DEMU will depart from Chota Udepur at 15.30 hrs every day from 8th April, 2013 to reach Vadodara at 18.45 hrs the same day.
In its return direction, Train No. 79455 Vadodara – Chota Udepur DEMU will depart from Vadodara at 11.45 hrs every day from 9th April, 2013 to reach Chota Udepur at 14.55 hrs the same day.
The train will halt at Pratapnagar, Kelanpur, Khundela, Bhilupur, Thuwavi, Dabhoi Jn, Vadhvana, Amalpur, Sankheda Bahadurpur, Chuchapura, Jojwa, Bodeli, Jabugam, Suskal, Pavi, Tejgadh and Puniyavat stations in both the directions.
It will consist of II class general coaches.
