WR's Summer Special Trains

  To clear extra rush in regular trains during forthcoming Summer Vacations and to ensure better convenience to the passengers, Western Railway has planned 286 services of 12 Summer Special trains to various destinations w.e.f. 1st April, 2015. Out of these 12 special trains, 6 are from Mumbai, 3 from Ahmedabad, 2 from Surat and o­ne from Indore. Destinations of these trains are 3 for Patna i.e. o­ne from Ahmedabad, Indore & Surat respectively, 3 for Uttar Pradesh from Mumbai and o­ne from Ahmedabad. o­ne special train is between Mumbai and Delhi and o­ne between Ahmedabad and Delhi. o­ne train is between Mumbai and Gandhidham and other is between Mumbai and Jodhpur. o­ne more train for Bihar is between Surat and Chhapra.

Booking for first few trips of these trains is already opened and for remaining trips, booking will be opened 15 days prior to the date of journey as per Advance Reservation Period o­nly through IRCTC's website.

Mumbai Central- Lucknow Jn (Weekly) Premium AC SuperFast Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09013 Mumbai Central - Lucknow Weekly Premium AC Super Fast Special train will leave Mumbai Central at 20.35 hrs o­n every Thursday and will reach Lucknow at 20.35 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 02nd April to 25th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09014 Lucknow - Mumbai Central Weekly Premium AC Super Fast Special train will leave Lucknow at 22.45 hrs o­n every Friday and reach Mumbai Central at 23.05 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 03rdApril to 26th June, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier & Pantry Car.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Jhansi and Kanpur Central stations in both directions.

Bandra(T)-Jodhpur (Weekly) Super Fast AC Premium Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09043 Bandra (T)- Jodhpur Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Bandra (T) at 23.55 hrs o­n every Monday and will reach Jodhpur at 16.20 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 6th April to 29th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09044 Jodhpur - Bandra (T) Weekly Premium AC Super Fast Special train will leave Jodhpur at 11.20 hrs o­n every Wednesday and reach Bandra (T) at 04.15 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 8th April to 1st July, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier Coaches & Pantry Car.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Ahmedabad, Falna and Pali Marwar stations in both directions.

Bandra(T)-Gorakhpur (Weekly) Premium Super Fast Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09015 Bandra (T)- Gorakhpur Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Bandra (T) at 05.10 hrs o­n every Sunday and will reach Gorakhpur at 14.40 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 5th April to 28th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09016 Gorakhpur - Bandra (T) Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Gorakhpur at 07.00 hrs o­n every Tuesday and reach Bandra (T) at 17.35 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 7th April to 30th June, 2015.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class Coaches & Pantry Car.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Kota, Kanpur Central and Lucknow stations in both directions.

Bandra(T)- Allahabad Weekly Special Train (28 services)

Train No. 09017 Bandra (T)- Allahabad Weekly Special train will leave Bandra (T) at 04.45 hrs o­n every Thursday and reach Allahabad Jn at 08.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 2nd April to 2nd July, 2015.          

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09018 Allahabad - Bandra (T) Weekly Special train will leave Allahabad at 10.25 hrs o­n every Friday and reach Bandra (T) at 16.10 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 3rd April to 3rd July, 2015.          

The train has AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Sleeper class and Second Class General Coaches.

The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Udhna, Nandurbar, Amalner, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Khandwa, Itarsi, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni Jn, Satna and Manikpur stations in both directions.

Bandra(T) – Gandhidham - Bandra(T) Weekly “Premium Super Fast” Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09455 Bandra(T) - Gandhidham Premium Superfast Weekly Special train will depart Bandra(T) at 16:00 hrs o­n every Thursday from 02nd April, 2015 to 25th June, 2015 and reach Gandhidham at 06.00 hrs the next day.

Similarly, Train No. 09456 Gandhidham – Bandra(T)  Premium Superfast Weekly Special train will depart Gandhidham  at 22.05  hrs  o­n every Wednesday from 01st April, 2015 to 24th June, 2015 and will arrive Bandra(T) at 11.15  hrs the next day.

The train will have AC II Tier, AC III Tier, Second Class Sleeper Coaches.

Enroute the train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ahmedabad and Samakhiali stations in both directions.

Mumbai Central-New Delhi (Tri-Weekly) Premium AC Super Fast Special Train(14  services)

Train No. 22913 Mumbai Central – New Delhi Tri-Weekly Premium AC Superfast Special train departing Mumbai Central at 16:00 hrs o­n Wednesday, Friday and Sunday and reaching New Delhi at 08.00 hrs the next day is further extended upto 15th April, 2015. The extended trips are from 1st April, 2015 to 15th April, 2015.

Similarly, Train No. 22914 New Delhi - Mumbai Central Tri-Weekly Premium AC Superfast Special train departing New Delhi at 14.45 hrs o­n Thursday, Saturday and Monday and arriving Mumbai Central at 06.55 hrs the next day is further extended upto 16th April, 2015. The extended trips are from 2nd April, 2015 to 16th April, 2015.

The train has AC II Tier, AC III Tier & Pantry car.

Enroute train halts o­nly at Vadodara and Kota stations.

Surat - Chhapra (Weekly) Premium Super Fast Special Train (26 services)

Train No. 09051 Surat - Chhapra Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Surat at 06.10 hrs o­n every Saturday and will reach Chhapra at 10.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 4th April to 27th June, 2015.

Similarly, in return direction Train No. 09052 Chhapra - Surat Weekly Premium Super Fast Special train will leave Chhapra at 13.25 hrs o­n every Sunday and reach Surat at 16.50 hrs, the next day. This train will run from 5th April to 28th June, 2015.

Similarly, Train No. 09418 Delhi Sarai Rohilla - Ahmedabad (Tri-Weekly) Premium AC   Superfast Special train will depart from Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 16.15 hrs o­n every Wednesday, Saturday & Monday   and reach Ahmedabad at 07.00 hrs o­n its respective next day. This train will run from 4th April to 15th April, 2015.

            Train No.06034 Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram superfast special train will leave Chennai Central at 18.15 hrs. o­n 02.04.2015 & 30.04.2015 and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 11.00 hrs. the next day.

            The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 11 sleeper class,     2 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

6. Superfast special trains between Ernakulam Jn. – Chennai Central

            Train No.06035 Ernakulam Jn. – Chennai Central superfast special train will leave Ernakulam at 19.00 hrs. o­n 09.04.2015 and reach Chennai Central at 07.15 hrs. the next day.

            Train No.06036 Chennai Central – Ernakulam Jn. superfast special train will leave Chennai Central at 22.30 hrs. o­n 10.04.2015 and reach Ernakulam at 10.50 hrs. the next day.

            Train No.06038 Chennai Egmore – Nagercoil superfast special train (via. Chord line) will leave Chennai Egmore at 15.00 hrs. o­n 06.04.2015 and arrive Nagercoil at 04.15 hrs. the next day.

The composition of the train will be 1 AC 2-tier, 2 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 3 general second class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.

            The train will stop at Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Sattur, Kovilpatti, Tirunelveli and Valliyur.

II. PREMIUM SPECIAL TRAINS

            The following PREMIUM superfast special trains will be run from Chennai Egmore to Tirunelveli.

2. PREMIUM superfast special train o­n 02.04.2015

            Train No.00611 Chennai Egmore – Tirunelveli PREMIUM superfast special train (via.Chord line) will leave Chennai Egmore at 21.05 hrs. o­n 02.04.2015 and arrive Tirunelveli at 09.05 hrs. the next day.

In order to cater to the extra rush of passengers during summer season, the Railway has decided to run Premium Special Train No. 09051/09052 Surat-Chhapra-Surat (Weekly) Premium “Super Fast” special train (13 trips in each direction) as per following programme:-

The 09051 Surat-Chhapra (Weekly) Premium “Super Fast” special train will depart from Surat at 06.10 a.m. o­n every Saturday from 04.04.2015 to 27.06.2015 (13 trips) to reach Chhapra at 10.50 a.m. the next day (Sunday). In the return direction, the 09052 Surat-Chhapra (Weekly) Premium “Super Fast” special train will depart from Chhapra at 01.25 p.m. o­n every Sunday from 05.04.2015 to 28.06.2015 (13  trips)  to reach Surat at 04.50 p.m. the next day (Monday).

Having two AC 2 tier, two AC 3 tier and ten sleeper accommodation besides pantry car, the train will stop at Bhusawal , Jabalpur , Chheoki , Varanasi  and Ballia stations enroute in both directions.

To clear extra rush during summer vacations, Western Railway will run three premium superfast special trains between Bandra Tr.- Jodhpur, Surat  - Chhapra and Surat - Patna.

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, during Diwali festival, South Central Railway will run two premium superfast express specials between Secunderabad and Patna as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 02791 Secunderabad – Patna Premium Superfast Express train will depart Secunderabad o­n 20th October, 2014 (Monday) at 06:15 am and arrive Patna at 01:45 pm o­n the next day.

      In the return direction, Train No. 02792 Patna– Secunderabad Premium Superfast Express train will depart Patna o­n 21stOctober, 2014 (Tuesday) at 11:30 pm and arrive Secunderabad at 05:00 am o­n the second day.

Enroute the Patna bound train will stop at Ramagundam, Nagpur, Jabalpur, Chheoki and Mughal Sarai stations while in the return, the train will stop at all these stations except Kazipet.
