12 HOURS BLOCK AT BAGNAN STATION ON 22.12.2013

With a view to facilitate smooth and better movement of train services, South Eastern Railway will undertake a 12 Hour Traffic-cum-Power Block for launching of 3 girders of Road Over Bridge near Bagnan Station on Howrah-Kharagpur Section from 00:45 hours to 12:45 hours on 22/12/2013 (Sunday).

As a result of this massive work being undertaken, the movement of train services over all the 3 lines viz. Up Main Line, Middle Line and Down Main Line will remain suspended. Consequent upon this Traffic-cum-Power Block, the following trains will be cancelled/rescheduled/diverted/short terminated/short originated etc:

CANCELLATION OF EMU/MEMU LOCALS ON 22/12/2013
31 number of Up EMU/MEMU Trains originating from Howrah/Santragachi/Shalimar and 35 number of Down EMU/MEMU Trains originating from various suburban stations will remain cancelled on 22/12/2013.

RUNNING OF SHUTTLE TRAIN SERVICE
To mitigate the hardship of the commuters during the block, 14 pairs of Shuttle EMU Trains will run on 22/12/2013 between Midnapur-Deulti-Midnapur, Kharagpur-Mecheda-Kharagpur & Howrah-Uluberia-Howrah. Besides, the State Government has also been requested to run additional bus services between Uluberia and Mecheda on 22/12/2013.

Barabanki-Gonda.
3)  15653 Guwahati- Jammu Tawi Express leaving Guwahati on 27.11.13 will be diverted to run via
via   Mankapur-Ayodhya-Faizabad-Sultanpur-Lucknow instead   of  its  existing  route  via  Gonda-
Barabanki- Lucknow .
4)  15654 Jammu Tawi-Guwahati Express leaving Jammu Tawi on 29.11.13 will be diverted to run via  Lucknow-Sutanpur-Faizabad-Ayodhya-Mankapur instead of  existing route via  Lucknow- Barabanki-Gonda.

Cancellation/Short Termination/Diversion at Barabanki.

NON-INTERLOCKED WORKING AT SHORANUR

Non-Interlocked(NI) working at Shoranur station in connection with Doubling between Shoranur and Karakkad stations is to start from25-09-2013 to 16-10-2013. As a result of this and with the completion of doubling work, Railway will be in a position to ease out operational constraints in the Shoranur – Mangalore section. The details of the benefits are given below:

During NI working, signals and the interlocking system which ensures safety will be out of use, which will slow down train movements remarkably across Shoranur. Moreover, every day 5 hours of traffic block with track machines will be given for the remodeling work. Hence, regulation/short termination/diversion/cancellation of trains will have to be done in view of overall public safety. Priority has been given not to affect long distance Mail/Express trains, by running lesser number of passenger trains. Goods traffic will also be restricted and diverted during this period.

 Diversion of Trains

The following trains will be diverted via link line without touching Shoranur station duly providing additional stoppage at Wadakkanchery and Ottappalam.

1.  Train Nos.13351/13352 Dhanbad/Tata Nagar – Allapuzha - Dhanbad/Tata Nagar Express will be diverted from 25/09/2013 to 16/10/2013.

2.  Train Nos.17229/17230 Kochuveli – Hyderabad – Kochuveli Sabari Express will be diverted from 25/09/2013 to 16/10/2013.

3.  Train No.12511 Gorakhpur – Thiruvananthapuram Raptisagar Tri-weekly Express will be diverted from28/09/2013 to 15/10/2013. Train No.12512 Thiruvananthapuram – Gorakhpur tri-weekly Raptisagar Express will be diverted from25/09/2013 to 16/10/2013.

4.  Train No.16327 Korba – Thiruvananthapuram Bi-weekly Express will be diverted from 27/09/2013 to 14/10/2013. Train No.16328 Thiruvananthapuram – Korba bi-weekly Express will be diverted from26/09/2013 to 14/10/2013.

5.Train No.16325 Indore – Thiruvananthapuram Ahalyanagari weekly Express will be diverted from 25/09/2013 to 16/10/2013. Train No.16326 Thiruvananthapuram – Indore Ahalyanagari weekly Express will be diverted from28/09/2013 to 12/10/2013.

6.Train No.12521 Barouni – Eranakulam Jn Raptisagar weekly Express will be diverted from26/09/2013 to 10/10/2013. Train No.12522 Eranakulam Jn– Barouni Raptisagar weekly Express will be diverted from28/09/2013 to12/10/2013.

7.Train Nos.16343/16344 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Palakkad Town – Thiruvananthapuram Central Amritha Express will be diverted from06/10/2013 to 16/10/2013.

 

Partial cancellation/ short termination of Mail/ Express and Passenger trains.

1.Train Nos.16605/16606 Mangalore Central – Nagarcoil Jn– Mangalore Central Eranad Express will be cancelled between Thrissur and Kuttipuram stations from25/09/2013 to 16/10/2013. These trains will run between Nagarcoil Jn. & Thrissur and between Kuttipuram & Mangalore Central only, during this period. Train No.16606 will run as a passenger special between Kuttipuram and Mangalore Central. This special willleave kuttipuram at 14.00 hrs and will reach mangalore Central at 20.25 hrs.

2.Train Nos.16302/16301 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Shoranur Jn – Thiruvananthapuram Central Venad Express will be cancelled between Eranakulam Jn and Shoranur Jn from25/09/2013 to 16/10/2013. These trains will run between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Ernakulam Jn only during this period.

3.  Train Nos.12076/12075 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Kozhikode – Thiruvananthapuram Central Janshatabdi Express will be cancelled between Thrissur and Kozhikode stations from 25/09/2013 to 16/10/2013. These trains will run between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Thrissur only during this period.

 4. Train No.16859 Chennai Egmore – Mangalore Central Express will be cancelled between Palakkad Jn and Mangalore Central from 02/10/2013 to 15/10/2013. Train No16860 Mangalore Central – Chennai Egmore Express will be cancelled between Mangalore Central and Palakkad Jn from03/10/2013 to 16/10/2013. These trains will run between Palakkad Jn and Chennai Egmore only during the above period.

5. Train No.16349/16350 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Nilambur Road - Thiruvananthapuram Central Rajya Rani Express will be cancelled between Shoranur Jn and Nilambur Road stations from 05/10/2013 to 16/10/2013. The full rake of Rajya Rani Express, linked with that of Amritha Express, will be brought upto Palakkad Jn during this period. These trains, which will not touch Shoranur Jn., have been provided with an additional stoppage at Wadakancherry station. Passengers from Nilambur Road area can board/alight at either Wadakancherry or Ottapalam stations during this period.

Connection bus service will be arranged for reserved passengers of Train No. 16605/16606 Mangalore Central –Nagarcoil Jn Ernad Express between Kuttipuram and Thrissur. Similar arrangement will also be made available for the reserved passengers of Train No.13351 Dhanbad /Tata Nagar – Alapuzha Express, 17230 Hyderabad – Kochuveli Sabari Express, Train No.12511 Gorakhpur – Thiruvananthapuram Central Raptisagar Express, 16327 Korba-Thiruvananthapuram Central Express, 12521 Barouni – Ernakulam Jn Express and Train No.16325 Indore – Thiruvananthapuram Central Express between Ottappalam/Wadakkanchery and Shoranur. 

Apart from the above, trains may be regulated / detained enroute as required.All efforts should be taken to ensure punctuality of trains by close monitoring.

SHORT TERMINATION OF ROCKFORT EXPRESS

  Consequent to the introduction of Train No.16183/16184 Chennai Egmore – Thanjavur – Chennai Egmore Daily express trains, Train No.16177/16178 Chennai Egmore – Kumbakonam – Chennai Egmore Rockfort express trains will run only between Chennai Egmore – Tiruchchirappalli with effect from 01.09.2013.

Train No.16177 Rockfort express leaving Chennai Egmore on 31.08.2013 will run upto Kumbakonam. Train No.16177 Rockfort express leaving Chennai Egmore on 01.09.2013 will run upto Tiruchchirappalli only.Train No.16178 Rockfort express will start from Tiruchchirappalli on 01.09.2013. 

Short Termination of Gorakhpur Trains due to Non-interlocking work at Gorakhpur

Railways have decided to short terminate the following trains arriving Gorakhpur at Deoriya Sadar/ Basti/ Mau between 30.9.2013 to 5.10.2013 on Temporary Basis due to Pre Non-interlocking and Non-interlocking work in connection with Gorakhpur Yard re modelling on Northeast Railway.

   

1. Train No. 11055 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Gorakhpur Godan Express leaving LTT on 30.9.2013, 2.10.2013 and 4.10.2013 will be terminated at Deoria Sadar instead of Gorakhpur.

2. Train No. 11015 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Gorakhpur Kushinagar Express leaving LTT from 2.10.2013 to 5.10.2013 will be terminated at Basti instead of Gorakhpur.

3. Train No.11037 Pune – Gorakhpur Express leaving Pune on 3.10.2013 will be terminated at Mau instead of Gorakhpur.

    1. Train.No.17009 Bidar-Hyderabad Inter City Express will be short terminated at     Lingampalli

       and is Partially cancelled between Lingampalli and Hyderabad

2. Train.No.57564 Nanded- Hyderabad Passenger will be short terminated at Bollarum and      is

    partially cancelled between Bollarum and Hyderabad


E) Train Regulated:-
    1. Train No.12724 New Delhi-Hyderabad AP Express will be regulated for 40 minutes at

        Secunderabad


F) Change in platform:-
   1. Train No.17032 Hyderabad-Mumbai CSTM Express will depart from Platform No.4.

Regulation of Train Services Due to Non-Interlocking work at Satntragachi

REGULATION AND SHORT TERMINATION OF TRAINS DUE TO MAOIST BANDH

In view of Bandh called by Maoist on 7th and 8th July 2010, Railways have canceled and short terminated some of the trains in East Coast Railway’s jurisdiction.

SHORT TERMINATION

8447 Bhubaneswar-Koraput Hirakhand Express left Bhubaneswar on 6th July will go to Koraput, but in return this train will back to Rayagada as empty rake in convenient time. This train will not take any passenger from Koraput to Rayagada. 8448 Koraput-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express scheduled to leave Koraput on 7th July will run from Rayagada to Bhubaneswar and will be cancelled between Rayagada and Koraput.

8447/8448 Bhubaneswar-Koraput-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express leaving Bhubaneswar on 7th July will be short-terminated at Rayagada and will be cancelled between Rayagada and Koraput on 8th July 2010.

8005/8006 Howrah-Koraput-Howrah Samaleswari Express leaving Howrah on 6th and 7th July 2010 and arriving Rayagada on 7th and 8th July will be short terminated at Rayagada. This train will return back to Howrah on 8th and 9th July 2010.

The services of 8447/8448 Howrah-Koraput-Howrah Samaleswari Express will remain cancelled between Rayagada and Koraput.

8107 Rourkela-Koraput Express arriving Koraput on 7th July will return to Rayagada with empty rake in convenient time and will run as 8108 Koraput-Rourkela Express from Rayagada instead of Koraput. This train will be cancelled between Koraput and Rayagada.

8107 Rourkela-Koraput Express leaving Rourkela on 7th and 8th July will be short terminated at Rayagada and will return back as 8108 Koraput-Rourkela Express from Rayagada to Rourkela. This train will remain cancelled between Koraput and Rayagada.

RESCHEDULING AND REGULATION

2815 Puri-New Delhi Neelachal Express, in case of marginal later running, will be regulated at Kharagpur till the 5.00 am of the next day.
