Train No. 12519 leaving Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on and from 31.7.2016 and Train No. 12520 leaving Kamakhya on and from 4.8.2016 will run via diverted route.

Railways decided to divert 12149 / 12150 Pune – Patliputra Express via Mughalsarai – Chheoki – Manikpur avoiding Allahabad with effect from 01.04.2016. The details are as under:
Train No. 12149 Pune – Patliputra Express leaving Pune at 20.55 hrs on & from 1.4.2016 will divert and arrive Chheoki at 20.45 hrs and depart at 20.55 hrs and will reach Patliputra at 03.40 hrs on third day.

Railways decided to divert 12321 / 12322 Mumbai CST – Howrah Express via Mughalsarai – Chheoki – Manikpur avoiding Naini and Allahabad with effect from 01.04.2016. The details are as under:
Train No. 12322 CST - Howrah Express leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai at 21.30 hrs on & from 1.4.2016 will run upto Manikpur as per existing schedule. Thereafter, will divert and arrive Chheoki at 20.00 hrs and depart at 20.10 hrs and will reach Howrah as per existing schedule at 11.45 hrs on third day.
Train No. 12321 Howrah – CST Express leaving Howrah on & from 01.04.2016 at 22.00 hrs will have new halt at Chheoki at 11.50 hrs and will arrive destination Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai as per existing schedule at 11.25 hrs on third day avoiding Allahabad and Naini.

DIVERSION OF 14005/14006 SITAMARHI-ANAND VIHAR (T)- SITAMARHI LICHCHVI EXPRESS VIA MUZAFFARPUR – RUNNISAIDPUR – SITAMARHI
Due to operational reasons, the Train no. 14005/14006 Sitamarhi-Anand Vihar (T)- Sitamarhi Lichchvi Express will be diverted to run via Muzaffarpur – Runnisaidpur - Sitamarhi instead of via Samastipur-Darbhanga - Sitamarhi. The 14006 Anand Vihar (T)- Sitamarhi Lichchvi Express, leaving Anand Vihar on 12.07.2014, will be diverted to run via Runisaidpur & 14005 Sitamarhi-Anand Vihar (T) Lichchvi Express, leaving Sitamarhi on 14.07.2014, will run via diverted route. There will be no service of 14005 from Sitamarhi on 13.07.2014.
The revised timing between Chhapra & Sitamarhi will be as under: -
The 14005 Sitamarhi-Anand Vihar (T) Lichchvi Express train will depart from Sitamarhi at 02.35 a.m. to reach Chhapra at 08.10 a.m. the same day. In the return direction, the 14006 Anand Vihar (T)- Sitamarhi Lichchvi Expresstrain will depart from Chhapra at 01.53 p.m. to reach Sitamarhi at 08.30 p.m. the same day.

A few trains will remain fully or partly cancelled, diverted or detained till April 29 following works on track and signal systems at Ernakulam Town railway station and on tracks leading in the Kottayam direction from the station.

TRAIN SERVICES TO SOUTH INDIA AGAIN DISRUPTED
Train services towards South India which had normalised after the improvement in flood situation in Odisha from the evening of 26.10.13 has AGAIN DETERIORATED AFFECTING TRAIN RUNNING TOWARDS VISAKHAPATANAM AND BEYOND. There has been a major breach in track between Bayyavaram & Narsinghapalli in South Central Railway early this morning (27.10.13). Water is flowing over the track due to which it will not be possible to run South bound trains by the normal route i.e via Bhubaneswar- Visakhapatanam. Due to this fresh natural calamity, the following steps will be taken by South Eastern Railway :-

CANCELLATION, RESCHEDULING, DIVERSION OF SOUTH BOUND TRAINS
Due to heavy rains and floods in coastal Odisha and Andhra Pradesh, water is flowing over the tracks at several places between Khurda Road and Visakhapatnam Stations of East Coast Railway. Train running to South India through normal route from Howrah area via Bhubaneswar-Khurda Road-Visakhapatnam is suspended since the evening of 23.10.2013.All the South bound trains are being diverted via Jharsuguda-Bilaspur-Nagpur route or via Jharsuguda-Sambalpur-Titlagarh route.Similarly, all the Howrah bound trains comingfrom South India(destinations such as Chennai, Hyderabad, Ernakulam, Yesvantpur, Kochuveli, Thiruvananthpuram etc.) are running via diverted route via Nagpur. Since the diverted route is much longer and already congested, these diverted trains are getting late.Consequently, SER is being forced to cancel some long distance Mail/Express trains

MEASURES ADOPTED BY SOUTH EASTERN RAILWAY IN VIEW OF HEAVY RAIN FALL IN WEST BENGAL
Since there has been heavy rain fall all over West Bengal since 25.10.2013 night, safety measures in train running have been tightened.
·Emergency Controls havebeen opened in all the four Divisions viz., Kharagpur, Adra, Chakradharpur and Ranchi.
·Special Patrol Teams are inspecting sensitive locations viz., bridges, cuttings etc. and are on the look out for rising water levels or any other issue involving train safety.
·Strict vigil is being kept by the Railway personnel at sensitive places wherethere are water bodies near theRailway Track and watch is being kept at rising water levels.

NON-INTERLOCKED WORKING AT SHORANUR
Non-Interlocked(NI) working at Shoranur station in connection with Doubling between Shoranur and Karakkad stations is to start from25-09-2013 to 16-10-2013. As a result of this and with the completion of doubling work, Railway will be in a position to ease out operational constraints in the Shoranur – Mangalore section. The details of the benefits are given below:
During NI working, signals and the interlocking system which ensures safety will be out of use, which will slow down train movements remarkably across Shoranur. Moreover, every day 5 hours of traffic block with track machines will be given for the remodeling work. Hence, regulation/short termination/diversion/cancellation of trains will have to be done in view of overall public safety. Priority has been given not to affect long distance Mail/Express trains, by running lesser number of passenger trains. Goods traffic will also be restricted and diverted during this period.
Diversion of Trains
The following trains will be diverted via link line without touching Shoranur station duly providing additional stoppage at Wadakkanchery and Ottappalam.
1. Train Nos.13351/13352 Dhanbad/Tata Nagar – Allapuzha - Dhanbad/Tata Nagar Express will be diverted from 25/09/2013 to 16/10/2013.
2. Train Nos.17229/17230 Kochuveli – Hyderabad – Kochuveli Sabari Express will be diverted from 25/09/2013 to 16/10/2013.
3. Train No.12511 Gorakhpur – Thiruvananthapuram Raptisagar Tri-weekly Express will be diverted from28/09/2013 to 15/10/2013. Train No.12512 Thiruvananthapuram – Gorakhpur tri-weekly Raptisagar Express will be diverted from25/09/2013 to 16/10/2013.

These trains will run between Nagarcoil Jn. & Thrissur and between Kuttipuram & Mangalore Central only, during this period. Train No.16606 will run as a passenger special between Kuttipuram and Mangalore Central. This special willleave kuttipuram at 14.00 hrs and will reach mangalore Central at 20.25 hrs.
2.Train Nos.16302/16301 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Shoranur Jn – Thiruvananthapuram Central Venad Express will be cancelled between Eranakulam Jn and Shoranur Jn from25/09/2013 to 16/10/2013. These trains will run between Thiruvananthapuram Central and Ernakulam Jn only during this period.

Train No16860 Mangalore Central – Chennai Egmore Express will be cancelled between Mangalore Central and Palakkad Jn from03/10/2013 to 16/10/2013. These trains will run between Palakkad Jn and Chennai Egmore only during the above period.
5. Train No.16349/16350 Thiruvananthapuram Central – Nilambur Road Nilambur Road Nilambur Road
Connection bus service will be arranged for reserved passengers of Train No. 16605/16606 Mangalore Central –Nagarcoil Jn Ernad Express between Kuttipuram and Thrissur. Similar arrangement will also be made available for the reserved passengers of Train No.13351 Dhanbad /Tata Nagar – Alapuzha Express, 17230 Hyderabad – Kochuveli Sabari Express, Train No.12511 Gorakhpur – Thiruvananthapuram Central Raptisagar Express, 16327 Korba-Thiruvananthapuram Central Express, 12521 Barouni – Ernakulam Jn Express and Train No.16325 Indore – Thiruvananthapuram Central Express between Ottappalam/Wadakkanchery and Shoranur.
Apart from the above, trains may be regulated / detained enroute as required.All efforts should be taken to ensure punctuality of trains by close monitoring.
