SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN MUMBAI CENTRAL – PURI on 22nd November, 2013

For the convenience of passengers and to clear extra rush during the festive season, one trip of special train will be run for the benefit of passengers between Mumbai Central & Puri.

Train No. 09009 Mumbai Central – Puri Express Special train will depart from Mumbai Central at 23.55 hrs o­n 22nd November, 2013 (Friday) and reach Puri at 18.45 hrs. o­n 24th Nov, 2013. This train will run o­nly for o­ne day i.e o­n 22nd November, 2013.

The train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Nandurbar, Amalner, Jalgaon, Bhusaval, Malkapur, Akola, Badnera, Wardha, Nagpur, Gondia, Durg, Raipur, Maha Samund, Khariar Road, Katabanji, Titlagarh, Balangir, Burgarh Road, Sambalpur, Rairakhol, Angul, Talcher, Dhenkanal, Mancheswar, Bhubaneshwar and Kurda Road stations.

The train will have Sleeper class coaches.

Booking for train no. 09009 will be open from 22nd November, 2013.

SPECIAL TRAINS BY SOUTHERN RAILWAYS

Southern Railway will run the following 124 special trains to clear the extra rush of traffic during Christmas, New Year, Irumudi, Thaipoosam and Pongal festivals.

1)Coimbatore – Chengalpattu – Coimbatore bi-weekly Specials (via. Erode, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram):
T.No.06628 Coimbatore - Chengalpattu bi-weekly Special will leave Coimbatore at 15.40 hrs. on Sundays & Tuesdays on 24th, 26th November 2013, 1st, 3rd, 8th, 10th, 15th, 17th, 22nd, 24th, 29th, 31st  December 2013 and 5th, 7th, 12th, 14th, 19th, 21st January 2014 and arrive Chengalpattu at 03.05 hrs. the next day.  T.No.06627 Chengalpattu – Coimbatore bi-weekly Special will leave Chengalpattu at 14.45 hrs. o­n Mondays & Wednesdays o­n 25th, 27th November 2013, 2nd, 4th, 9th, 11th, 16th, 18th, 23rd, 25th, 30th December 2013 and 1st, 6th, 8th, 13th, 15th, 20th, 22nd January 2014 and arrive Coimbatore at 03.00 hrs. the next day.

The composition of the trains will be 13 Second Class Sleeper, 5 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.  The trains will stop at Tiruppur, Erode, Karur, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram and Melmaruvathur.  T.No.06627 will stop at Coimbatore North also.

2)Coimbatore – Chengalpattu – Coimbatore bi-weekly Specials (via. Erode, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram):

3)Coimbatore – Chengalpattu – Coimbatore weekly Specials (via. Erode, Tiruchchirappalli, Vriddhachalam, Villupuram):
T.No.06632 Coimbatore - Chengalpattu weekly Special will leave Coimbatore at 13.15 hrs. on Saturdays on 30th November 2013, 7th, 14th, 21st, 28th December 2013 and 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th January 2014 and arrive Chengalpattu at 01.30 hrs. the next day.  T.No.06631 Chengalpattu – Coimbatore weekly Special will leave Chengalpattu at 14.45 hrs. on Sundays on 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th December 2013 and 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th January 2014 and arrive Coimbatore at 03.00 hrs. the next day.

T.No.06634 Tiruchchirappalli - Coimbatore weekly Special will leave Tiruchchirappalli at 09.15 hrs. on Thursdays on 28th November 2013, 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th December 2013 and 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd January 2014 and arrive Coimbatore at 14.15 hrs. the same day.  T.No.06633 Coimbatore – Tiruchchirappalli weekly Special will leave Coimbatore at 04.00 hrs.on Wednesdays on 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th December 2013 and 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th, January 2014 and arrive Tiruchchirappalli at 08.15 hrs. the same day.

The composition of the trains will be 1 Second Class Sleeper, 3 Second Class Chair Car, 14 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Kulitalai, Karur, Pugalur, Kodumudi, Erode and Tiruppur.  T.No.06634 will stop at Coimbatore North also.

5)Tiruchchirappalli – Coimbatore – Tiruchchirappalli weekly Specials: 
T.No.06636 Tiruchchirappalli - Coimbatore weekly Special will leave Tiruchchirappalli at 09.15 hrs. on Sundays on 24th November 2013, 1st, 8th, 15th, 22nd, 29th December 2013 and 5th, 12th, 19th January 2014 and arrive Coimbatore at 14.15 hrs. the same day.  T.No.06635 Coimbatore – Tiruchchirappalli weekly Special will leave Coimbatore at 04.00 hrs. on Thursdays on 28th November 2013, 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th December 2013 and 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd January 2014 and arrive Tiruchchirappalli at 08.15 hrs. the same day.

The composition of the trains will be 13 Second Class Sleeper, 5 General Second Class and 2 luggage-cum-brake van coaches.  The trains will stop at Kulitalai, Karur, Pugalur, Kodumudi, Erode and Tiruppur.  T.No.06636 will stop at Coimbatore North also.

SCR to run 128 Sabarimalai Special Trains

South Central Railway will run 128 special trains from Hyderabad, Kakinada Town, Nizamabad, Vijayawada, Machilipatnam, Narasapur, Sirpurkagaznagar,  Karimnagar, Aurangabad, Adilabad, and Akola to Kollam, and back from 6th December, 2013 to 18th January, 2014 to clear the extra rush of  passengers and pilgrims heading  to  Sabarimalai.

Advance Reservations for these special trains will commence from ­08:00 hrs of Monday, the 25th November 2013.

The details of the special trains are as follows:-

1)Train No.07109/07110 Hyderabad-Kollam-Hyderabad Sabarimalai Special (via. Kazipet, Vijayawada, Renigunta, Salem) (36 services):

An additional stoppage will be provided for Tr No. 12841/12842 Howrah-Chennai-Howrah Coromandel Express at Tadepalligudem o­n Rajahmundry-Vijayawada Section on experimental basis for a period of six months with effect from 25th November 2013.
