In order to clear extra rush of passengers during festival season, Northern Railway has decided to increase the passenger carrying capacity of following trains as per the programme:-
The 2301/2302 Howrah-New Delhi-Howrah Rajdhani express and 2305/2306 Howrah-New Delhi-Howrah Rajdhani Express trains will be augmented by one additional A.C. 3 Tier coach each with immediate effect upto 20.11.2010 when departing from Howrah and from 2.11.2010 to 21.11.2010 when departing from New Delhi.
The 2313/2414 Sealdah-New Delhi-Sealdah Rajdhani Express train will be augmented by one additional A.C. 3 Tier coach with immediate effect upto 20.11.2010 when departing from Sealdah and with immediate effect upto 21.11.2010 when departing from New Delhi.
The 2329/2330 Sealdah-Delhi Jn.-Sealdah West Bengal Sampark Kranti Express train will be augmented by one additional sleeper coach from 2.11.2010 to 16.11.2010 when departing from Sealdah and from 3.11.2010 to 17.11.2010 when departing from Delhi Jn.
The 2004/2003 New Delhi-Lucknow-New Delhi Shatabdi Express train has been augmented by two additional chair car coaches with immediate effect upto 21.11.2010.
The 2205/2206 New Delhi-Dehradun-New Delhi A.C. Express train will be augmented by one additional A.C. 2 Tier and one A.C. 3 Tier coach each from 4.11.2010 to 3.2.2011 when departing from New Delhi & from 5.11.2010 to 4.2.2011 when departing from Dehradun.
The 2391/2392 Secunderabad-Patna-Secunderabad Express train will be augmented by one additional A.C. 3 Tier coach on permanent basis from 3.11.2010 when departing from Secunderabad and from 5.11.2010 when departing from Patna. After augmentation, the total composition of 2791/2792 Express train on permanent basis will be One A.C. 2 Tier, Two A.C. 3 Tier, Ten sleeper class, Two general class , One Pantry car and Two second class cum luggage and brake van coaches.
The 2963/2964 Udaipur-Hazrat Nizamuddin-Udaipur Intercity Express train has been augmented by one additional sleeper coach with immediate effect upto 10.11.2010 when departing from Udaipur & upto 10.11.2010 when departing from Hazrat Nizamuddin
The 4888A/4887A Barmer-Haridwar-Barmer link Express will be augmented by one additional sleeper coach with immediate effect upto 10.11.2010 when departing from Barmer & from 2.11.2010 to 11.11.2010 when departing from Haridwar.
2823/2824 Durg-H.Nizamuddin-Durg Chattisgarh Express by one additional AC 2 Tier coach with immediate effect upto 15.11.2010 when departing from Durg & upto 16.11.2010 when departing from Hazrat Nizamuddin
8237/8238 Bilaspur-Amritsar -Bilaspur Chattisgarh Express train by one additional Sleeper class coach from 3.11.2010 to 13.11.2010 when departing from Bilaspur & from 5.11.2010 to 15.11.2010 when departing from Varanasi
2309/2310 Rajender Nagar-New Delhi-Rajender Nagar Rajdhani Express by one additional AC 3 Tier coach from 3.11.2010 to 20.11.2010 when departing from Rajender Nagar & from 4.11.2010 to 21.11.2010 when departing from New Delhi.
