Coimbatore, Kottayam) : T.No.06009 Chennai Central – Kollam Weekly Special will leave Chennai Central at 23.30 hrs. on Wednesdays from 23.11.2011 to 18.1.2012 and arrive Kollam at 15.30 hrs. the next day. T.No.06010 Kollam – Chennai Central Weekly Superfast Special will leave Kollam at 21.10 hrs. on Thursdays from 24.11.2011 to 19.1.2012 and arrive Chennai Central at 12.40 hrs. the next day. The composition of the trains will be 3 AC 2-tier, 3 AC 3-tier, 12 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam. T.No.06010 will stop at Perambur also.

2) 06011 Chennai Central – Kollam Superfast Weekly Special and 06012 Kollam – Chennai Central Weekly Special (via. Coimbatore, Kottayam) : T.No.06011 Chennai Central – Kollam Weekly Superfast Special will leave Chennai Central at 15.15 hrs. on Fridays from 25.11.2011 to 20.1.2012 and arrive Kollam at 05.45 hrs. the next day. T.No.06012 Kollam – Chennai Central Weekly Special will leave Kollam at 11.30 hrs. on Saturdays from 26.11.2011 to 21.1.2012 and arrive Chennai Central at 03.40 hrs. the next day. The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 2-tier, 1 AC 3-tier, 10 Sleeper Class, 7 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Arakkonam, Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Tiruppur, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrisur, Aluva, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Tiruvalla, Chengannur and Kayankulam. T.No.06012 will stop at Perambur also.

Sabarimalai Special train between Visakhapatnam-Kollam

To clear the extra rush of passengers during Sabarimalai season, a bi-weekly Special Train will be run between Visakhapatnam and Kollam from 15.12.2011 to 16.01.2012 as per the following schedule:-
Train No. 08569 Visakhapatnam-Kollam bi-weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 09 00 hrson Thursdays and Sundays ie. o­n 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th, 29th December, 2011and 1st, 5th, 8th, 12th, 15thJanuary, 2012and arrive Kollamat 15 30 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 08570 Kollam-Visakhapatnam bi-weekly Special Train will depart Kollam at 19 20 hrs o­n Fridays and Mondays ie., o­n 16th , 19th , 23rd. 26th , 30th December,2011 and2nd , 6th, 9th, 13th, 16th January,2012 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 01 25 o­n the second day.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta,Tirupati, Katpadi,Jolarpattai, Salem, Erode, Coimbator, Palakkad, Thrisur, Ernakulam Town and Kottayam.

These trains will have o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper class, four General Second classand two Luggage cum break van coaches.

Southern Railway will run the following special trains to clear the extra rush of passengers during the ensuing Sabari/Winter season.

Kottayam) : T.No.06001 Chennai Central – Kollam weekly Superfast Special will leave Chennai Central at 15.15 hrs. on Thursdays from 22.11.2011 to 19.1.2012 and arrive Kollam at 05.35 hrs. the next day.T.No.06002 Kollam – Chennai Central weekly Special will leave Kollam at 11.30 hrs. on Fridays from 23.11.2011 to 20.1.2012 and arrive Chennai Central at 03.40 hrs. the next day. Weekly Superfast Special will leave Bangalore at 18.50 hrs. on Fridays from 18.11.2011 to 20.1.2012 and arrive Ernakulam Jn. at 06.30 hrs. the next day.
