To clear the extra rush of passengers during Sabarimalai season, a bi-weekly Special Train will be run between Visakhapatnam and Kollam from 15.12.2011 to 16.01.2012 as per the following schedule:-
Train No. 08569 Visakhapatnam-Kollam bi-weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 09 00 hrson Thursdays and Sundays ie. on 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th, 29th December, 2011and 1st, 5th, 8th, 12th, 15thJanuary, 2012and arrive Kollamat 15 30 hrs on the next day.
In the return direction, Train No. 08570 Kollam-Visakhapatnam bi-weekly Special Train will depart Kollam at 19 20 hrs on Fridays and Mondays ie., on 16th , 19th , 23rd. 26th , 30th December,2011 and2nd , 6th, 9th, 13th, 16th January,2012 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 01 25 on the second day.
Enroute, these trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, ongole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta,Tirupati, Katpadi,Jolarpattai, Salem, Erode, Coimbator, Palakkad, Thrisur, Ernakulam Town and Kottayam.
These trains will have one AC II Tier, one AC III Tier, eight Sleeper class, four General Second classand two Luggage cum break van coaches.
