SCR Introduces “Book Your Meal” Scheme in Trains

South Central Railway has introduced “Book Your Meal Scheme” for the benefit of passengers for the trains having train side vending facility.

The passengers can now order for meals / breakfast by Phone / SMS and the food will besupplied to passengers at their berths / seats.

The facility is available o­n the following fourteen trains and the passengers can contact by phone / SMS o­n the phone numbers cited against each train.

SCR Extends Hyderabad-Ajmer Weekly Special Train

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will extend Train No.07106/07105 Hyderabad-Ajmer-Hyderabad Weekly Special Train to run till 1st January, 2012 as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 07106Hyderabad-Ajmer Weekly Special train will depart Hyderabad at 21.35 hrs, arrive/depart Secunderabad at 22.00/22.05 hrs, Malkajgiri at 22.15/22.17 hrs o­n Fridays i.e o­n 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30thDecember,2011and arrive Ajmer at 14 30 hrs o­n the second day (Sunday). In the return direction, Train No. 07105 Ajmer-Hyderabad Weekly special train will depart Ajmerat22.45 hrs o­n Sundays ie., o­n11th , 18th, 25th December, 2011 and 1stJanuary 2012., arrive/depart Malkajgiri at 12.30/12.32 hrs, Secunderabad at 13.00/1310 hrs and arrive Hyderabad at 14 00 hrs o­n the second day (Tuesday). Enroute, these special trains will also stop atKamareddi, Nizamabad, Basar, Dharmabad, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Manmad, Bhusaval, Khadwa, Itarsi, Bhopal, Sehore, Shujalpur, Berchha, Ujjain, Nagda, Kota, Bundi, Mandalgarh, Chitorgarh, Bhilwara, Bijaynagar, and Nasirabad, in both the directions.

These trains will have18 coaches viz. o­ne AC II Tier, Two AC III Tier, seven Sleeper class and sixGeneral SecondClass and Two Second Class Luggage Cum Break VanCoaches

Additional stoppages for Express Trains

Train No 12163/12164 Dadar-Chennai Egmore-Dadar Express; Train No 19567/19568 Tuticorin-Dwaraka-Tuticorin Vivek Express and Train No. 11019/11020 Mumbai-Bhubaneshwar-Mumbai Konark Express are provided with additional stoppages at enroute stations as detailed below:-

1)Train No. 11019/11020 Mumbai-Bhubaneshwar-Mumbai Konark Express is provided with o­ne minute stoppage at MAHABUBABADadditionallyon a trial basis for a period of six months with effect from 1stDecember 2011. Accordingly, Train No. 11019 Mumbai-Bhubaneshwar Konark Express will arriveMahabubabad at 11 12 hrs and depart at 11 13hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 11020 Bhubaneshwar- MumbaiKonark Express will arrive Mahabubabad at 07 20hrs and depart at07 23 hrs.

2)Train No 12163/12164 Dadar-Chennai Egmore-Dadar Express is provided with additional stoppage at GOOTY for a period of six months o­n an experimental basis, with effect from 5thDecember 2011 . Accordingly Train No 12163 Dadar-Chennai Egmore Expresswill depart Gooty at 11 48 hrs. In the return direction, Train No.12164 Chennai Egmore-Dadar Express will depart Gooty at 14 10 hrs.

3)Train No 19567/19568 Tuticorin-Dwaraka-Tuticorin Vivek Express is provided with additional stoppage at ANANTAPURfor a period of six months o­n an experimental basis from 5thDecember 2011. Accordingly, Train No. 19567Tuticorin-Dwaraka Vivek Expresswill arrive Anantapur at 15 20 hrs and depart at 15 22 hrs. In the return direction, Train No. 19568 Dwaraka-Tuticorin Vivek Express will arrive Anantapur at 11 48 hrs and depart at 11 50 hrs.

Special Trains Extended

In order to clear the extra rush of traffic, the services of Train No.08056/08055 Tirupati – Shalimar – Tirupati and Train No.08004/08003 Howrah – Mysore – Howrah Weekly Special Trains have been extended to run up to 16th January, 2012 to the existing timings and stoppages.

1. Train No.08056/08055 Tirupati – Shalimar – TirupatiWeekly Special (16 services)
Train No. 08056 Tirupati –Shalimar Weekly Special will depart Tirupati o­n Fridays, i.e., 25thNovember, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30thDecember, 2011, 6th and 13th January, 2011.

2. Train No.08004/08003 Howrah – Mysore – Howrah Weekly Special (16 services)
Train No. 08003 Howrah - Mysore Weekly Special will depart Howrah o­n Fridays, i.e., 25thNovember, 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30thDecember, 2011, 6th and 13th January, 2011.
In the opposite direction, Train No.08004 Mysore – Howrah Weekly Special will depart Mysore o­n Mondays, i.e., 28th November, 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th December, 2011, 2nd, 9th and 16thJanuary, 2012.

SCR Extends Special Train between Secunderabad-Mancherial-Secunderabad

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway has extended the Special Train running betweenSecunderabad-Mancherialas detailed below :-

SCR to Run Special trains between Hyderabad and Korba & Secunderabad and Vijayawada

In order to clear the extra rush of Passengers, South Central Railway will runtwoSpecial Trains between Hyderabad and Korba & two special trains between Secunderabad and Vijayawada as per the following schedule:-

1)Special trains between Hyderabad and Korba:
Train No 07003 Hyderabad-Korba Special Train will depart Hyderabad at 10 45 hrs onTuesdays ie, o­n 22nd , 29th November and 6th , 13th and 20th December, 2011 and arrive Korba at 05 45 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No 07004 Korba-Hyderabad Special Train will depart Korba at 08 00 hrs o­n Wednesdays ie., o­n 23rd ,30thNovember and 7th, 14thand 21st December 2011 arrive Hyderabad at 04 45 hrson the next day.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Secunderabad, Kazipet, Ramagundam, Manchiryal, Bellampally, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Ballarshah, Chandafort, Nagohir, Wadea, Dongargarh, Rajnandgaon, Durg, Raipur, Bilaspur, Akaltara and Champa. These trains will have 19 Coaches Viz., o­ne AC II tier, two AC III tier, eight sleeper Class, six General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

2) Special trains between Secunderabad and Vijayawada:
Train No 07104 Secunderabad- Vijayawada Special Train will depart Secunderabad at 23 15 hrson 19thNovember,2011 and arrive Vijayawada at 04 45 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No 07103 Vijayawada-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Vijayawada at 23 15 hrs o­n 19th November, 2011 and arrive Secunderabad at 05 00 hrs on the next day.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Kazipet,Warangal and Khammam. These trains will have o­ne AC Chair Car, fifteen Second Class Sitting, two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches.

SCR Extends Hyderabad-Ajmer Weekly Special Train

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will extend Train No.07106/07105 Hyderabad-Ajmer-Hyderabad Weekly Special Train till 4th December, 2011 as per the following schedule:-

Accordingly Train No. 07106 Hyderabad-Ajmer Weekly Special train will depart Hyderabad at 21 35 hrs on Fridays i.e o­n 18th , 25th November and 2nd December 2011and arrive Ajmer at 14 30 hrs o­n Sundays.

In the return direction, Train No. 07105 Ajmer-Hyderabad Weekly special train will depart Ajmer at 22 45 hrs o­n Sundays ie., o­n 20th , 27thNovember and 4th December , 2011 and arrive Hyderabad at 14 00 hrs o­n Tuesdays.

To clear the extra rush of passengers during Sabarimalai season, a bi-weekly Special Train will be run between Visakhapatnam and Kollam from 15.12.2011 to 16.01.2012 as per the following schedule:-
Train No. 08569 Visakhapatnam-Kollam bi-weekly Special Train will depart Visakhapatnam at 09 00 hrson Thursdays and Sundays ie. o­n 15th, 18th, 22nd, 25th, 29th December, 2011and 1st, 5th, 8th, 12th, 15thJanuary, 2012and arrive Kollamat 15 30 hrs o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 08570 Kollam-Visakhapatnam bi-weekly Special Train will depart Kollam at 19 20 hrs o­n Fridays and Mondays ie., o­n 16th , 19th , 23rd. 26th , 30th December,2011 and2nd , 6th, 9th, 13th, 16th January,2012 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 01 25 o­n the second day.

Enroute, these trains will stop at Duvvada, Anakapalli, Tuni, Annavaram, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Tadepalligudem, Eluru, Vijayawada, Tenali, Chirala, o­ngole, Nellore, Gudur, Renigunta,Tirupati, Katpadi,Jolarpattai, Salem, Erode, Coimbator, Palakkad, Thrisur, Ernakulam Town and Kottayam.

These trains will have o­ne AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier, eight Sleeper class, four General Second classand two Luggage cum break van coaches.

Secunderabad - Pune – Secunderabad Shatabdi intrdouced

As announced in the Railway Budget 2011, South Central Railway will introduce the following new trains from the days as mentioned below :

1. Train No.12026/12025 Secunderabad - Pune – Secunderabad Shatabdi Express 
(six days in a week – except o­n Tuesdays) will be introduced o­n 13^th November, 2011 and will depart Secunderabad Railway Station at 14.40 Hrs. The timings of the train are as under:

Miryalaguda-Kacheguda-Miryalaguda DEMU Passenger and Miryalaguda-Nadikudi-Miryalaguda DEMU introduced

South Central Railway will introduce Train No. 77678/77675 Miryalaguda-Kacheguda-Miryalaguda DEMU Passengerand Train No. 77676/77677 Miryalaguda-Nadikudi-Miryalaguda DEMU Passenger with effectfrom 14^th November, 2011 which was announced in the Railway Budget 2011-12.

The inaugural services will be flagged off by Shri G. Sukender Reddy,Hon’ble Member of Parliament, Nalgonda at Miryalaguda Railway Station at 10 00 hrs on 14^th November, 2011. Shri J. Ranga Reddy Hon’ble MLA, Miryalaguda, will be the Guest of Honour.

For the convenience of Pilgrims attending Christian Jathara at Dharur o­n Vikarabad-Tandur section, South Central Railway will provide o­ne minute temporary halt at Dharur for Train No. 16593 / 16594 Nanded-Bangalore-Nanded Express.

Accordingly, These trains will stop for a minute at Dharur from 10^thto 14^th November, 2011.

SCR To Run Special Express Trains between Bidar-Dharur

In order to clear extra rush of passengers attending the Christian Jathara of Methodist Church at Dharur from 11.11.2011 to 13.11.2011, South Central Railway will run two Special Express Trains as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 07001 Bidar-Dharur Special Express Train will depart Bidar at 10 00 hrs o­n 11th November, 2011 and arrive Dharur at 13 20 hrs o­n the same day.

In the return direction, Train No.07002 Dharur-Bidar Special Express Train will depart Dharur at 18 00 hrs o­n 13th November, 2011 and arrive Bidar at 21 00 hrs o­n the same day.

Enroute, these special Express trains will stop at Zahirabad, Kohir, Sadasivpet andVikarabad. These trains will have ten coaches Viz. eight General Second Classand two Second Class Luggage Cum brake van coaches.

Special Trains Between Adilabad and Pandharpur

In order to clear extra rush of passengers attending Kartika Ekadasi Jatra at Pandharpur, Maharashtra, S C Railway will run two special trains between Adilabad and Pandharpur as per the following schedule:-

Train No.07511 Adilabad-Pandharpur Special train will depart Adilabad at 19 00 hrs o­n 03rd November, 2011 and arrive Pandharpur at 09 05 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07512 Pandharpur-Adilabad Special Train will depart Pandharpur at 21 10 hrs o­n 04th November, 2011 and arrive Adilabad at 13 30 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroutre, these trains will stop at Kinwat, Himayatnagar, Bhokar, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Gangakher, Parlivaijnath, Latur Road, Latur, Ausa Road, Doki, Yedshi, Usmanabad, Barsi, Kurduwadi aan Modlimb. These trains will have 12 Coaches Viz. four SleeperClass six General Second classand two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

SCR to Run Special Trains Between-Adilabad-Pandharpur

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Kartika Ekadashi Jatra, S C Railway will run four Special trainsbetweenAdilabad-Pandharipuras per the following schedule;-

Train No.07501 Adilabad-Pandharpur Special Train will depart Adilabad at19 00 hrs o­n 05^t and 09^thNovember,2011 and arrive Pandharpur at 09 05 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 07502 Pandharpur-Adilabad Special Train will depart Pandharpur at 21 10 hrs o­n 06^th and 10^thNovember, 2011 will arrive Adilabad at 13 30 hrs o­n the next day

Enroute thesetrains will stop at Kinwat, Himayatnagar, Bhokar, Mudkhed, Nanded, Purna, Prabhani, Gangakher, Parli Vaijanath, Latur Road, Latur, Ausa Road, Doki, Yedshi, Usmanabad, Barsi, Kurduwad and Modlimb.

This train will have 12 Coaches Viz. 6 General SecondClass, 4 SleeperClass and 2 Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

Cancellation of confirmed e-tickets in view of proposed Rail Roko in Telangana

In view of the cancellation / partial cancellation of some of the trains due to proposed Rail Roko from 15^thOctober, 2011 to 17^th October, 2011,passengers holding a confirmed e-ticket are advised to apply for refund o­n the IRCTC website.

The refund for the confirmed tickets will not be automatically done o­n the website. The refund will be done o­nly o­n specifically applying o­n the IRCTC website www.irctc.co.in.
