SPECIAL TRAINS TO FIROZPUR & GUWAHATI

For the convenience of Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab ,Bihar and Assam bound passengers and to clear extra rush during the festive season, special trains will be run for the benefit of passengers between Surat – Firozpur & Valsad- Guwahati o­n 19th November, 2012.


Surat – Firozpur Special Train 

Train No. 09037 Surat - Firozpur Special train will depart from Suratat 08.40 hrs o­n 19th November, 2012 ( Monday) and reach Firozpur at 12.30 hrs. o­n next day. This train will run o­nly for o­ne day i.e o­n 19th November, 2012.

The train will halt at Bharuch, Vadodara, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bayana, Bharatpur, Mathura, Delhi Safdargunj, Sakurbasti, Rohtak, Jind, Jakhal, Bhatinda & Faridkot stations.

The train will have AC III Tier , Sleeper Class & Second class general coaches.

Valsad – Guwahati Special Train

Similarly, Train No. 09039 Valsad – Guwahati Special train will depart from Valsad at 17.25 hrs o­n 19th November, 2012 (Monday) and reach Guwahati at 03.00 hrs o­n Thursday. This train will run o­nly for o­ne day i.e o­n 19th November, 2012.

The train will halt at Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Dahod, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Gangapur City, Bayana, Agra Fort, Tundala, Kanpur, Mugalsarai, Patna, Mokameh Jn, Khagaria Jn, Katihar Jn, Barsoi Jn, Kishanganj, New Cooch Behar, New Alipurdaur, New Bongaigaon & Rangiya Jn. stations.

The train will have AC III Tier, Second Class sitting & Second class general coaches.

Booking for 09037 will open from 18.11.2012 & booking of 09039 will open from 19.11.12.

SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN CHENNAI CENTRAL AND PATNA

In order to clear extra rush of passengers two special trains between Chennai Central and Patna Jn as per the following schedule:-

 Train No. 06031 Chennai Central-Patna Special Train will depart Chennai Central at 11 00 hrs o­n Friday i.e., 16thNovember 2012 and arrive Patna Jn at 05 00 hrs o­n Sunday.

 In the return direction, Train No. 06032 Patna-Chennai Central Special Train will depart Patna Jn at 20 55 hrs o­n Sunday i.e.,18th November 2012and arrive Chennai Central at 15 00 hrs o­n the Tuesday.

Correction to Press Release:

Kindly refer this office Press Release no.133/2012-2013 dt. 14.11.2012 regarding  running of special trains between Chennai Central & Patna for “Chat” festival. 


            T.No.06031/06032 Chennai Central – Patna – Chennai Central Specials will run via. Manikpur & Chheoki and not via. Allahabad as announced vide Press Release referred above. Hence, T.No.06031 leaving Chennai Central at 11.00 hrs. o­n 16.11.2012 will arrive Patna at 03.00 hrs. instead of 05.00 hrs. o­n 18.11.2012.  


            Consequently, T.No.06032 Patna – Chennai Central Special will leave Patna at 15.00 hrs. o­n 18.11.2012 instead of 20.55 hrs.



 Enroute, these special trains will stop at Gudur, o­ngole, Vijayawada, Warangal, Ramagundam, Sirpur Kagaznagar, Balharshah, Chandrapur, Sevagram, Nagpur, Pandhurna, Betul, Ghoradongri, Itarsi Jn, Pipariya, Narsinghpur, Jabalpur, Katni, Satna, Allahabad Jn, Mirzapur, Mughal Sarai Jn, Buxar, Ara and Danapur in both the directions.

These special trains will comprise of six Second Class Seating (Reserved), fourteen General Second Class, two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to twenty two Coaches.

AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS

T.No.16031/16032 Chennai Central – Jammu Tawi Andaman Expresses will be temporarily augmented with 1 AC 3-tier coach (reserved) and 1 General Second Class (unreserved) coach as follows.

Special Train Between Kurnool Town and Bhopal

In order to clear extra rush of pilgrims attending “ Izthema” congregation at Bhopal o­n 23rd November 2012, South Central Railway will run a Special Train between Kurnool Town and Bhopal via Kachegudaand Kazipet as per the following schedule:-

Train No: 07619, Kurnool Town – Bhopal Special Train will depart Kurnool Town at 22. 00 hrs o­n 22ndNovember 2012,arrive / depart Kacheguda at 03.40 / 03.45 hrs., Malkajgiri at 04.09 / 04.10 hrs. and arrive Bhopal at 22.50 hrs. the next day.

In the return direction, Train No: 07620 Bhopal – Kurnool Town, Special Train will depart Bhopal at 19.30 hrs on 26th November 2012, arrive / depart Malkajgiri at 16.25 / 16.26 hrs, Kacheguda at 16.50 / 17.00 hrs., and arrive Kurnool Town at 21.50 hrs. the next day.

Enroute, the Special Train will also stop at Mahabubnagar, Aler, Jangoan, Kazipet, Jammikunta, Ramagundam, Sirpurkagaznagar, Balharshah, Nagpur and Itarsi in both the directions.    

The Train will comprise of 18 Sleeper Class and 2 Second Class Luggage cum Brake van Coaches totaling to 20 Coaches.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF CHENNAI – MYSORE SHATABDI EXPRESS

T.No.12007/12008 Chennai Central – Mysore – Chennai Central Shatabdi Express trains will be temporarily augmented with o­ne AC Chair Car Coach for o­ne more month w.e.f. 16.11.2012 to 16.12.2012.

Special unreserved train between Bangalore and Patna

To clear extra rush, the railways will run an unreserved special train between Bangalore City and Patna. According to a press release, Bangalore City – Patna unreserved Express special (06529) will leave Bangalore city at 10.10 a.m. on Wednesday and reach Patna at 9.50 a.m. on Friday. Patna-Bangalore City unreserved Express special (06530) will leave Patna at 8.10 p.m. on Friday and reach Bangalore City at 9 p.m. on Sunday. The train will run via Jolarpet, Katpadi, Gudur, Balharshah and Itarsi.

DIWALI SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN BANDRA (T) & JODHPUR VIA AHMEDABAD

To clear extra rush during the festive season and facilitate Rajasthan & Gujaratbound passengers in view of ensuing Diwali festival, special trains will be run for the benefit of passengers between Bandra (T) and Jodhpur via Ahmedabad..

Train No. 09019 Bandra (T)-Jodhpur Special train will depart from Bandra (T) at 19.50 hrs on 12th November 2012 and reach Jodhpur at 14.45 hrs. the next day. In return direction, Train No. 09020 Jodhpur-Bandra (T) Special train will depart from Jodhpur at 16.30 hrs on 13th November 2012 and arrive at Bandra (T) at 12.45 hrs. the next day.

To clear extra rush during the festive season and facilitate Rajasthan & Gujarat  bound passengers in view of ensuing Diwali festival, special train will be run for the benefit of passengers between Bandra (T) and Jaipur.

 Bandra (T)-Jaipur Superfast Special Train

Train No. 09023 Bandra (T)-Jaipur Superfast Special train will depart from Bandra (T) at 23.25 hrs on 12th November 2012 and reach Jaipur at 17.15 hrs. the next day.In return direction, Train No. 09024 Jaipur-Bandra (T) Superfast Special train will depart from Jaipur at 18.15 hrs on 13th November 2012 and arrive at Bandra (T) at 13.40 hrs. the next day.

The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ratlam, Nagda, Kota and Sawai Madhopur stations in both directions.
