In order to clear extra rush of passengers, Railways has decided to run one tri-weekly special train no. 09640/09639 between Ajmer and Haridwar as per the programme :
The 09640 Ajmer-Haridwar Tri –Weekly Special train will run on every Saturday, Monday and Thursday from 3.2.2011 to 28.3.2011 and it will depart from Ajmer at 6.50 p.m. to arrive at Haridwar at 10.25 a.m. the next day.While in the return direction the 09639 Haridwar – Ajmer Tri-Weekly Special train will run on every Sunday, Tuesday & Friday from 4.2.2011 to 29.3.2011 and it will depart from Haridwar at 8.00 p.m. to arrive at Ajmer at 11.30 a.m. the next day.
The 09649/09639 Ajmer – Haridwar – Ajmer Express Tri-Weekly special train consisting of One AC 3 Tier, Six Second Class Sleeper, Six General Second Class, one Second – cum- Luggage Van and One Second Class – cum – Brake Van with disabled friendly compartment coaches, will stop at Kishangarh, Fulera, Aslam Jobner, Jaipur, Gandhi Nagar Jaipur, Dausa, Bandiqui, Alwar, Rewari, Delhi Jn., Shamli and Tapri stations enroute in both the direction.
