As already announced by South Central Railway, Train No. 17429/17430 Rayalaseema Express and Train No.17415/17416 Haripriya Express are delinked to run as independent trains with effect from 15th February, 2011. In view of the introduction of the new Train No. 17415/17416 Tirupati – Kolhapur Haripriya Express the following changes will come into effect with regard to train services between Tirupati – Kolhapur:
1.The present slip coach service between Tirupati – Kolhapur running by Train No. Train No. 17430/17415and 17416/17429 will be withdrawn and a separate train i.e.Train No. 17415/17416 Tirupati – Kolhapur Haripriya Express will be introduced from 15th February, 2011.
The new train will comprise of one 2 Tier AC, one 3 Tier AC, eight Sleeper Class, three General Second Class and two Second Class cum Brake Van Coaches, totaling to fifteen.
Passengers who have already booked their journey on Tirupati – Kolhapur sector by the present slip coach services by Train No.17430/17415 and Train No.17416/17429 are already transferred to the new train No. 17415/17416 respectively.Such passengers who have booked their tickets may kindly note the change in the Train numbers.
2.Train No.17415 Tirupati – Kolhapur Haripriya Express will depart Tirupati at 20.30 hrs. with effect from 15th February, 2011 instead of 19.15 hrs. as at present.The train would however arrive Kolhapur at 16.35 hrs. as at present. Passengers are requested to note the revised departure timings at Tirupati.
