Run of 04043/04044 Delhi – Ratangarh Daily Special Express extended

For the convenience of the passengers, the 04043 Delhi – Ratangarh Daily Special Train scheduled to run upto 15.01.2011, nowhas been extended to run upto 31.01.2011. The 04044 Ratangarh -Delhi Daily Special Train will depart from Ratangarh station at 4.00 p.m. to reach Delhi at 10.00 p.m. the same day while the 04043 Delhi-Ratangarh special train will depart from Delhi Jn. at 04.50 a.m. to arrive at Ratangarh at 11.00 a.m. the same day. The 04043/04044 Delhi-Ratangarh-Delhi Daily special train will halt at Churu, Sadulpur, Loharu, Mahendergarh, Rewari, Gurgaon, Delhi Cantt. and Delhi Sarai Rohilla stations enroute in both the directions.

PURI-BANGALORE WEEKLY GARIB RATH SPECIAL TRAIN EXTENDED

In view of demands and to clear extra rush of passengers in regular trains towards Bangalore, East Coast Railway has decided to extended the services of 08469/08470 Puri-Bangalore-Puri weekly Garib Rath Special train up to 25th March from Puri and up to 26th March from Bangalore.

08469 Puri-Bangalore Garib Rath weekly special train leaving Puri on every Friday at 02.30p.m and arriving at Bangalore at 10.45p.m on the next day has been extended to run up to 25th March 2011 from Bhubaneswar. In the return direction, 08470 Bangalore-Puri Garib Rath weekly special train leaving Bangalore on every Saturday at 11.55p.m and arriving at Bhubaneswar at 05.50a.m on every Monday has been extended to run up to 26th March 2011 from Bangalore.

This train has 15 Garib Rath AC-3 tiers and two Guard cum Generator Car Vans in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Brahmapur, Palasa, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Vijayawada, Guntur, Donakonda, Markapur, Nandyal, Dronachalam, Dharmavaram, SSP Nilayam, Hindupur, Yelahanka and Bangalore Cantonment between Puri and Bangalore.

Secunderabad-Manchiryal Special Train Extended

In order to clear extra rush of passengers, South Central Railway will extend the run of  Secunderabad-Manchiryal Special Train will continue to run up to 31st March 2011 as per the schedule below:

Train No.0752 Secunderabad-Manchiryal Special Train will depart Secunderabad on all days of the week except on Saturdays at 05 30 hrs and arrive Manchiryal at 09.35 hrs on the same day. In the return direction Train No.0751 Manchiryal-Secunderabad Special Train will depart Manchiryal on all days of the week except on Saturdays at 10 30 hrs and arrive Secunderabad at 14 30 hrs on the same day.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Bhongir, Aler, Jangaon, Kazipet, Uppal, Jammikunta, Potkapalli, Odela, Kolnur, Peddapalli and Ramagundam in both the directions. These trains will have ten General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to twelve Coaches.

04043/04044 Delhi Ratangarh Daily Special Express extended

The 04044 Ratangarh -Delhi Daily Special Train will depart from Ratangarh station at 4.00 p.m. to reach Delhi at 10.00 p.m. the same day while the 04043 Delhi-Ratangarh special train will depart from Delhi Jn. at 04.50 a.m. to arrive at Ratangarh at 11.00 a.m. the same day. ECoR WEEKLY NEWS

In view of rush in different trains during winter and to clear waitlisted passengers, East Coast Railway has decided to augment additional coaches in some of the important trains originating from its jurisdiction and also running special trains to different directions.

New Delhi bound Purusottam Express, Neelachal Express trains, Puri-Jodhpur, Bhubaneswar-Pondichery, Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad Visakha Express, Visakhapatnam-LTT and Puri-Durg Express trains will be augmented with additional coaches to clear extra rush and wait listed passengers.


SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN VISAKHAPATNAM & KOLLAM

In view of the demands, ECoR is running special train between Visakhapatnam and Kollam. 08577/08578 Visakhapatnam-Kollam-Visakhapatnam Special train is leaving Visakhapatnam on every Sunday at 09.00a.m and will run upto 23rd January 2011. In the return direction, this train is leaving Kollam on every Monday at 07.15p.m and will run upto 24th January 2011.

This train has one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 04 Sleeper Class, 06 General Second Class, 02 First Class & 02 Guard-Cum-Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at major stations between Visakhapatnam & Kollam.

SAMBALPUR-VISAKHAPATNAM-NIZAMABAD BI-WEEKLIES TO RUN WITH REVISED TIMINGS AT SECUNDERABAD & KAMAREDDI.


The timings of Sambalpur-Visakhapatnam-Nizamabad-Sambalpur bi-weekly express trains at Secunderabad & Kamareddi have been revised. 18309/18509 Sambalpur-Visakhapatnam-Nizamabad bi-weekly express trains arriving at Secunderabad at 09.05a.m and leaving at 09.40a.m and arriving Kamareddi at 11.05a.m and leaving at 11.06a.m towards Nizamabad instead of its earlier timings. In the return direction, 18310/18510 Nizamabad-Visakhapatnam-Sambalpur bi-weekly express trains arriving Kamareddi at 10.50a.m and leaving at 11.00a.m towards Visakhapatnam and Sambalpur respectively instead of their earlier timings.


ECoR TO EXTEND THE SERVICES OF SPECIAL TRAINS


In view of the demands from the passengers and to avoid rush in regular trains during winter, East Coast Railway has decided to extend the services of special trains towards Pune, Tirupati, Howrah, Siridi and Nizamabad from its jurisdiction.

BHUBANESWAR-PUNE

The services for running of 08482/08481 Bhubaneswar-Pune-Bhubaneswar weekly Special train leaving Bhubaneswar on every Tuesday at 10.15p.m and leaving Pune on every Thursday at 11.15a.m has been extended to run up to 25th January 2011 from Bhubaneswar and upto 27th January 2011 from Pune.

This train has one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 06 Sleeper Class, 06 General Second Class and 02 Guard-Cum-Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Duvvada, Rajahmundry, Vijaywada, Guntur, Nalgonda, Secunderabad, Wadi and Solapur between Bhubnaneswar and Pune.

PURI-HOWRAH

The services of 08461/08462 Puri-Howrah-Puri Special which is leaving from Puri on Tuesdays at 10.15p.m and leaving Howrah on every Wednesdays at 08.55p.m have been extended to run upto 29th March 2011 from Puri & upto 30th March 2011 from Howrah.

This train has 02 AC-3 tier, 01 AC-2 tier, 09 Sleeper Classes, 06 General Second Class coaches and 02 Guard-Cum-Luggage Vans and in its composition having stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road & Sakhigopal between Howrah and Puri.

Similarly, the services for running of 08471/08472 Bhubaneswar-Tirupati-Bhubaneswar weekly special trains leaving Bhubaneswar on every Saturday and leaving Tirupati on every Sunday have been extended to run upto 26th March 2011 from Bhubaneswar & upto 27th March 2011 from Tirupati.

The services for running of 08567/08568 Visakhapatnam-Siridi-Visakhapatnam weekly express leaving Visakhapatnam on every Wednesday and leaving Siridi on every Thursday has been extended to run upto 23rd Feb’2011 from Visakhapatnam & upto 24th Feb’2011 from Siridi.

The services for running of 08565/08566 Visakhapatnam-Nizamabad-Visakhapatnam weekly express has been extended to run upto 29th March 2011 from Visakhapatnam & upto 30th Mar’2011 from Nizamabad.


BHUBANESWAR-TIRUPATI WEEKLY SPECIAL TO STOP AT SRIKAKULAM


East Coast Railway has decided to provide the stoppage of Bhubaneswar-Tirupati-Bhubaneswar weekly special train at Srikakulam Road. 08471 Bhubaneswar-Tirupaty Weekly Special train will arrive at Srikakulam Road at 4.25 pm and will leave at 4.27 pm. In the return direction, 18472 Tirupaty-Bhubaneswar Weekly Special trail will arrive at Srikakulam Road at 7.33 am and will leave at 7.35 am towards Bhubaneswar.


BHUBANESWAR-TIRUPATI WEEKLY SPECIAL TRAIN EXTENDED


08471 Bhubaneswar-Tirupati Weekly Special train, which was leaving Bhubaneswar on every Saturday, has been further extended to run up to 26th March 2011 towards Tirupati. Similarly, in the return direction, 08472 Tirupati-Bhubaneswar Weekly Special train leaving Tirupati on every Sunday towards Bhubaneswar will run up to 27th March 2011.

AC COACH IN BHUBANESWAR-BOLANGIR INTERCITY EXPRESS


East Coast Railway has decided to augment one AC-Chair Car temporarily in 12893/12894 Bhubaneswar-Bolangir-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express from 28th December 2010 to 31st December 2010 to avoid rush.

South Western Railway (SWR) has extended the services of special trains that were to expire on December 31. These are as follows:

Train no.07315/07316 Hubli-Bijapur/Bijapur-Hubli Daily Express Special: January 1, 2011 to June 30, 2011 (181 services).
Train no. 02777 Hubli-Yesvantpur Weekly Special: January 5, 2011 to January 26, 2011 (4 services).
Train no. 02778 Yesvantpur-Hubli Weekly Special: January 7, 2011 to January 28, 2011 (4 services).
Train no. 06539Yesvantpur-Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam Weekly Special: January 4, 2011 to January 22, 2011 (8 services).
Train no.06540 Satya Sai Prashanti Nilayam-Yesvantpur Weekly Special: January 5, 2011 to January 23, 2011 (8 services).
Train no. 06535 Yesvantpur-Bijapur Special (Sundays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays): January 2, 2011 to June 29, 2011 (103 services).
Train no. 06536 Bijapur-Yesvantpur Special (Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays): January 3, 2011 to June 30, 2011 (103 services).

There will be no changes in the timings and stoppages of these trains.

Extension of Dadar – Sawantwadi Daily Special Train

Railways have decided to extend the service of 01013 / 01014 Daily Special  train between Dadar and Sawantwadi to clear the extra rush of Passengers. These extended services will be run from 27.12.2010 to 26.01.2011.The details are as under:-

01013 Dadar – Sawantwadi Daily Special will leave Dadar at 11.55 pm will reach Sawantwadi at 10.55 am on next day.

01014 Sawantwadi - Dadar Daily Special will leave Sawantwadi at 6.10 pm and will arrive Dadar at 6.30 am on next day.

Reservation: Booking for extended services will be open from 24.12.2010.

EXTENSION OF WINTER SPECIAL TRAINS

For the convenience of the passengers, Northern Railway has decided to extend  the run of following trains as per the programme:-

The train no. 0231/0232 Jaipur-Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Jaipur daily winter special train  earlier extended to run upto 20.12.2010 will now run upto 26.12.2010 with revised train no. 09721/09722.

The train no. 0241/0242 Delhi Sarai Rohilla-Rewari  daily winter special train  earlier extended to run upto 20.12.2010 will now run upto 26.12.2010 with revised train no. 09741/09742.

The train no. 0240/0239 Ajmer-Haridwar-Ajmer tri weekly  winter special train  earlier extended to run upto 18.12.2010  from Ajmer and upto  19.12.2010  from Haridwar will now run upto 25.12.2010 from  Ajmer and upto 19.12.2010 from Haridwar with revised train no. 09640/09639.

Secunderabad-Jaipur-Secunderabad Weekly Special Train Extended

The services of Train No.09736/09735 Secunderabad-Jaipur-Secunderabad Weekly Special Train have been extended up to 24th January 2011.

 Accordingly, Train No.09735  Secunderabad-Jaipur Weekly Special  Express will depart Secunderabad at 23.25 hrs on Monday on 20th &27th December 2010 and 3rd, 10th, 17th  and 24th January 2011 and arrive Jaipur at 05.55 hrs on Wednesday.
 Jaipur-Secunderabad Weekly Express (6 services)
 Accordingly, Train No. 09736 Jaipur- Secunderabad Weekly Special Express will depart Jaipur at 21.10 hrs on Saturday on 18th & 25th December 2010 and 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd January 2011 and arrive Secunderabad at 03.55 hrs on Monday.

WR EXTENDS DADAR BIKANER & INDORE JAIPUR HOLIDAY SPECIAL TILL JANUARY , 2011

To clear extra rush during the festive season, Western Railway has decided to extend the services of  train no. 04727/04728 (OLD No. 0288/0287) Dadar- Bikaner and train no 09728/09727(old No. 0228/0227)   holiday special  for benefit of passengers.

Train No. 04728 (0288)  Dadar - Bikaner weekly Superfast Special will leave from Dadar on every Tuesday at 14.35 hrs from 14th December, 2010 to 25th January ,2011 and reach Bikaner at 12.40 hrs the next day. Train No.04727 (0287) Bikaner - Dadar Superfast Special will leave from Bikaner on every Monday at 14.45 hrs from 13th December, 2010 to 24th January, 2011  arrive Dadar at 12.50 hrs the next day. Enroute the train will halt at Borivali, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mahesana Jn, Unjha, Chhapi, Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi Road, Jawaibandh, Falna, Rani, Marwar Jn., Pali Marwar, Luni, Jodhpur, Gotan, Merta Rd, Nagaur, Nokha and Deshnok stations in both the directions.This Train will have AC II tier, AC III tier, II sleeper and general coaches.

Train No.09727 (0227)  Indore-Jaipur weekly Superfast Special will leave from Indore on every Wednesday at 22.30 hrs from 15th December, 2010 to 26th January, 2011 and reach Jaipur at 08.20 hrs the next day. Train No.09728 (0228)  Jaipur- Indore weekly Superfast Special will leave from Jaipur on every Tuesday at 20.40 hrs from 14th December, 2010 to 25th January, 2011 and  arrive Indore at 06.35 hrs the next day. Enroute the train will halt at Dewas, Ujjain, Nagda, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Bansthali Niwai and Durgapura stations in both the directions. This Train will have AC II tier, AC III tier, II sleeper and general coaches.

The Booking of extended trips of 04728 and 09727 will open  from 12/12/2010

SPECIAL TRAIN EXTENDED

The Calcutta-Kamakhya Weekly Superfast Express will make six extra trips in either direction to cater to the rush of passengers during the winter holidays. The additional train will leave Calcutta on Tuesdays from December 7 to January 11. The Down train will leave on Mondays from December 6 to January 10, an Eastern Railway spokesperson said.
