AUGMENTATION

In view to provide passengers comfort to the commuters and also to clear the huge wait list passengers during the peak season, East Coast Railway has taken steps to augment additional coaches in Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express and Bhubaneswar-Balangir-Bhubaneswar Intercity express from 1st June to 30th June 2013.

          22811/22823 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi Rajdhani Express will be augmented with Three AC-3 tier coaches and o­ne AC-2tier coach during the period. Similarly, 12893/12894 Bhubaneswar-Balangir-Bhubaneswar Inter City Express will augmented with o­ne AC Chair Car coach during the period.

ADDITIONAL COACHES


In view to avoid rush in Puri-Haridwar-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express and Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express via Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur, East Coast Railway has decided to augment additional coaches in these two trains o­n permanent basis by creating additional berths for the benefit of the commuters.

18477/18478 Puri-Haridwar-Puri Kalinga Utkal Express will be augmented with Two Sleeper Class Coaches w.e.f. 25th September 2012 from Puri and w.e.f. 28th September 2012 from Haridwar. o­n permanent augmentation, this train will run with 12 Sleeper Class, One AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tiers, Three General Second Class Coaches, Two Guard cum Luggage Vans and One Pantry Car in its composition.

18507/18508 Visakhapatnam-Amritsar-Visakhapatnam Hirakud Express via Bhubaneswar and Sambalpur will be augmented with One Sleeper Class Coach w.e.f. 27th September 2012 from Visakhapatnam and w.e.f. 30th September 2012 from Amritsar. o­n permanent augmentation, this train will run with One AC-2 tier, One AC-3 tier, 10 Sleeper Class, Five General Second Class Coaches, Two Guard cum Luggage Vans, One Pantry Car and One Parcel Van in it’s composition.

augmentation of AC coach by ECoR


In view to clear extra rush of passengers and to provide better comfort to the commuters, East Coast Railway has decided to augment one more AC Coach permanently in four trains leaving from its’ jurisdiction.

12746/12745 Bhubaneswar-LTT-Bhubaneswar express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier Coach w.e.f. 28th August from Bhubaneswar and w.e.f. 30th August 2012 from LTT. Similarly, 12845/12846 Bhubaneswar-Yesvantpur-Bhubaneswar express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier Coach w.e.f. 26th August from Bhubaneswar and w.e.f. 28th August 2012 from Yesvantpur.

12830/12829 Bhubaneswar-Chennai Central-Bhubaneswar express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier Coach w.e.f. 30th August from Bhubaneswar and w.e.f. 31st August 2012 from Chennai Central. Similarly, 18425/18426 Puri-Durg-Puri express will be augmented with one AC-3 tier Coach w.e.f. 30th August from Puri and w.e.f. 31st August 2012 from Durg.

RAIPUR-KESINGA PASSENGER TO BE EXTENDED TO BHAWANIPATNA


8207/58208Raipur-Kesinga-Raipur passenger will be extended to Bhawanipatna w.e.f. 12th August2012.

58207 Raipur-Bhawanipatna passenger after arrival at Kesinga at 20.00hrs will leave at 20.05hrs towards Bhawanipatna. Similarly, 58208 Bhawanipatna-Raipur passenger will leave Bhawanipatna at 02.15hrs and will arrive at Kesinga at 04.25hrs. The timings and stoppages for this train between Kesinga and Raipur will remain unchanged. This train will provide stoppages at Kundal Road, Rupra Road, Narla Road, Lanjigarh Road, Ramchandrapur PH and De-Pur between Kesinga and Bhawanipatna.

SPECIAL TRAINS FOR RATH YATRA FESTIVAL-2012


For the convenience of pilgrims and passengers and to cater to extra rush of passengers during Rath Yatra Festival at Puri, East Coast Railway has decided to run 60 special trains from different parts of Orissa and AndhraPradesh excluding the existing trains coming to Puri. Special trains will also run to and from Puri to clear extra rush on the occasion of Sandhya Darshan, Bahuda Yatra and Sunabesa. Apart from this, eight trains will be rescheduled.

Special Trains from Andhra Pradesh (VISAKHAPATNAM &PALASA):

           One special train will leave Visakhapatnam  at 18.00hrs  on 20th  June 2012 and will arrive Puri at 07.45 hrs on  21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra Day. In the return direction, this Passenger Special will leave Puri at 00.15hrs on 22nd June 2012 and will arrive Visakhapatnam at 10.00hrs on the following day.

           Similarly, two passenger trains will leave Palasa on 21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra Day towards Puri. The Palasa-Puri Special trains will leave Palasa at 04.25hrs, and 04.45hrs towards Puri and will arrive Puri at 10.30 hrs & 14.00hrs respectively. In the return direction one special train towards Palasa will leave Puri at 18.15 hrs on Rath Yatra Day and will arrive Palasa at 00.20hrs (Mid Night). The another special train from Puri will leave at 19.15hrs on RathYatra Day and will arrive Palasa at 01.05hrs in the night.

Trains from Sambalpur:
           One passenger special train will leave Sambalpur at 19.00hrs on 20th  June 2012 and will arrive Puri at 03.30 hrs on 21st  June 2012 i.e. on RathYatra Day. In the return direction this passenger special train will leave Puri at 23.05hrs on 21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra Day and will arrive at Sambalpur at 07.30hrs on the following day.

Trains from Bhadrak:
           One passenger special train will leave Bhadrak at 06.15 hrs on 21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra day and will arrive Puri at 12.15 hrs. In the return direction, this passenger special train will leave Puri at 16.00 hrs on 21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra day and will arrive Bhadrak at 21.05 hrs on the same day.

Trains from Kendujhargarh:
         One passenger special train will leave Kendujhargarh at 05.30 hrs and will arrive Puri at 13.45 hrs on 21st June i.e. on Rath Yatra Day. In the return direction this passenger special train will leave Puri at 20.20hrs on 21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra Day and will arrive at Kendujhargarh at 03.00hrs on the following day.

Trains from Gunupur:
           One passenger special train will leave from Gunupur at 20.45hrs. on 20th June 2012 and will arrive Puri at 10.05 hrs i.e. on Rath Yatra Day.

Trains from Paradeep:
           One passenger special train will leave Paradeep at 04.00 hrs on 21st June 2012 i.e. on the Rath Yatra day and will arrive Puri at 09.45 hrs on the same day. In the return direction, this passenger special train will leave Puriat 18.45hrs on on 21st June 2012 i.e. on the Rath Yatra day and will arrive Paradeep at 00.30hrs.

Trains from Brahmapur:
           One passenger special train will leave Brahmapur at 07.20hrs. on 21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra day and will arrive Puri at 11.20 hrs.

Trains from Bangiriposi:
           One passenger special train will leave Bangiriposi at 05.00hrs. on 21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra day and will arrive Puri at 13.10 hrs.  In the return direction this passenger special train will leave Puri at 15.00 hrs on 21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra Day and will arrive at Bangiriposi at 23.30hrs.
 
Specials Trains from Cuttack:
           One passenger special train will leave Cuttack at 06.15 hrs on 21st June 2012 i.e. on the Rath Yatra day and will arrive Puri at 09.15hrs. In the return direction this passenger special train will leave Puri at 21.20hrs (Mid Night) on 21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra Day and will arrive Cuttack at 01.45hrs.

Specials Trains from Khurda Road:
One passenger train will leave Puri at 15.15hrs and arrive at Khurda Road at 16.40hrs on 21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra Day.  Similarly another passenger train will leave Puri at 4.00hrs on 22nd June 2012 and arrive at Khurda Road at 05.30hrs.

Specials Trains from Bhubaneswar:
            One passenger special train will also leave Puri at 23.45hrs on 21st June 2012 i.e. on Rath Yatra Day and will arrive Bhubaneswar at 01.45hrs in the night.

     In view of the above arrangements some short distance passenger trains will be rescheduled and cancelled during the Rath Yatra period.

PRASHANTI EXPRESS TO STOP AT SOMPETA


With an aim to provide better Passenger Amenities for the convenient of passengers, Railways have decided to provide additional stoppage of 18463/18464 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Prashanti Express at Sompeta with effect from 1st June 2012 o­n an experimental basis for a period of six months.

          18463 Bhubaneswar-Bangalore Prashanti Express will arrive at Sompeta at 08.47hrs and will leave at 08.49hrs towards Bangalore. In the return direction, 18464 Bangalore-Bhubaneswar Prashanti Express will arrive at Sompeta at 17.12hrs and will leave at 17.14hrs towards Bhubaneswar.

          The timings and stoppages for this trains scheduled at different stations will remain unchanged from both the side.

BHUBANESWAR-BANGIRIPOSI EXPRESS TO STOP AT HALDIPADA


With an aim to provide better Passenger Amenities for the convenient of passengers, Railways have decided to provide additional stoppage of 12891/12892 Bhubaneswar-Bangiriposi-Bhubaneswar Express at Haldipada with effect from 1stJune 2012 o­n an experimental basis for a period of six months.

          12891 Bhubaneswar- Bangiriposi Express will arrive at Rupsa at 06.22hrs & will leave at 06.24hrs and will arrive at Haldipada at 06.33hrs & will leave at 06.34hrs. Similarly, this train will arrive at Balasore at 06.42hrs & will leave at 06.44hrs towards Bangiriposi. In the return direction, 12892 Bangiriposi -Bhubaneswar Express will arrive at Balasore at 20.17hrs & will leave at 20.19hrs and will arrive at Haldiapada at 20.30hrs & will leave at 20.31hrs. Similarly, this train will arrive at Rupsa at 20.40hrs and will leave at 20.42hrs towards Bhubaneswar.

          The timings and stoppages for this trains scheduled at different stations will remain unchanged from both the side.

TRAINS RENUMBERED


Consequent to the new railway timetable coming into effect from 1st July 2012 and in view of smooth operational system, the numbers of the some of trains originating from East Coast Railway jurisdiction will be changed.


12579/12580 Digha-Puri-Digha Express will be re-numbered as 22889/22890 Digha-Puri-Digha Express.

12581/12582 Pune-Bhubaneswar-Pune Express will be re-numbered as 22881/22882 Pune-Bhubaneswar-Pune Express.

12585/12586 Howrah-Sambalpur-Howrah Express as 22803/22804 Howrah-Sambalpur-Howrah Express.

12743/12744 Puri-Surat-Puri Express as 22827/22828 Puri-Surat-Puri Express.

12745/12746 LTT-Puri-LTT Express as 22865/22866 LTT-Puri-LTT Express.

12749/12750 Visakhapatnam-LTT-Visakhapatnam Express will be re-numbered as 22819/22820 Visakhapatnam-LTT-Visakhapatnam Express

All the above trains will be renumbered  effect from 1st October 2012.

12583/12584 Valsad-Puri-Valsad Expresswill be re-numbered as 22909/22910 Valsad-Puri-Valsad Express with effect from 27th Sept 2012.

Special Trains between Hyderabad – Visakhapatnam & Tirupati - Visakhapatnam


In order to clear the extra rush of traffic during the summer season, Special Trains will be operated between Hyderabad–Visakhapatnam & Tirupati– Visakhapatnam from 27th May till 2nd July 2012 as per the following schedule.

Train No. 08564/08563 Hyderabad–Visakhapatnam–Hyderabad Weekly Special Train
(10 Services)
Train No. 08564 Hyderabad–Visakhapatnam Special will depart Hyderabad o­n Tuesdays i.e.
29th May, 5th, 12th, 19th & 26thJune 2012 at 23.05 hrs, Arrive/Depart Secunderabad at 23.20/23.30 hrs and arrive Visakhapatnam at 12.15 hrs the next day.
In the opposite direction, Train No. 08563 Visakhapatnam–Hyderabad Special will depart Visakhapatnam o­n Mondays i.e. 28th May, 4th, 11th, 18th& 25th June 2012 at 19.05 hrs, Arrive/Depart Secunderabad at 08.15/08.25 hrs and arrive Hyderabad 08.45 hrs the next day.
Enroute, the Train will also stop at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Madhira, Vijayawada, Rajahamundry, Samalkot and Duvvada in both the directions.
The Train will comprise of o­ne AC-2Tier, o­ne AC-3Tier, Six Sleeper Class, Six General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van Coaches totaling to 16.

Train No. 08562/08561 Tirupati–Visakhapatnam– Tirupati Weekly Special Train
(12 Services)
Train No. 08562 Tirupati–Visakhapatnam Special will depart Tirupati o­n Mondays i.e. 28th May, 4th, 11th, 18th & 25th June and 2nd July 2012 at 14.00 hrs and arrive Visakhapatnam at 05.00 hrs the next day.
In the opposite direction, Train No.08561 Visakhapatnam–Tirupati Special will depart Visakhapatnam o­n Sundays i.e. 27th May, 3rd, 10th, 17th& 24th June and 1st July 2012 at 18.45 hrs and arrive Tirupati 09.45 hrs the next day.
Enroute, the Train will stop at Renigunta, Gudur, Nellore, o­ngole, Tenali, Guntur, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Rajahamundry, Samalkot and Duvvada in both the directions.
The Train will comprise of o­ne AC-2Tier, o­ne AC-3Tier, Nine Sleeper Class, Four General Second Class and Two Second Class Luggage-cum-Brake Van Coaches totaling to 17.

KORAPUT-VISAKHAPATNAM INTERCITY TO BE INTRODUCED


A new bi-weekly Inter City Express Train between Koraput & Visakhapatnam will run with effect from 24thMarch 2012.

Shri Jayaram Pangi, Hon’ble Member of Parliament (Lok Sabha), Koraput will flag off the inaugural run of the Koraput-Visakhapatnam” Express at 11.00 a.m. o­n 24th March, 2012 at Koraput Railway station in presence of Shri Raghuram Padal, Hon’ble M.L.A., Koraput.

On the day of inaugural run, this train will run in the open path timings from Koraput to Visakhapatnam. However, the regular service of Train will be commenced from Visakhapatnam w.e.f. 26th March 2012 & w.e.f. 27th March 2012 from Koraput.

18511 Koraput-Visakhapatnam Inter City Express will leave Koraput at 05.00hrs o­n every Saturday & Tuesday and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 12.30hrs. In the return direction, 18512 Visakhapatnam-Koraput Inter City Express will leave Visakhapatnam o­n every Monday & Friday and will arrive Koraput at 21.50hrs.

This train has Eight Second Class Chair Car, o­ne AC Chair Car and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Damanjodi, Laxmipur Road, Tikiri, Singapur Road, Rayagada, Parvatipuram, Bobbili & Vizianagaram between Koraput and Visakhapatnam.

SANTRAGACHHI- KOCHUVELI SPECIAL TRAIN


In view to clear wait listed passengers during summer and to provide better passenger comforts to the commuters, East Coast Railway has decided to run o­ne pair of weekly summer special train between Satntagachhi & Kochuveli (Thiruvanantpuram) through East Coast Railway jurisdiction.

028517/02852 Santragachhi-Kochuveli-Santragachhi weekly special train will leave Santragachhi at 16.05hrs o­n every Saturday between 5th May to 16th June 2012 and will arrive Kochuveli at 13.45hrs o­n Monday. In the return direction, this train will leave Kochuveli at 14.15hrson every Tuesday between 8th May to 19th June 2012 and will arrive Santragachhi at 03.00hrs o­n Thursday. This train will stop at Bhadrak, JHajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and Duvvada between Santragachhi & Kochuveli having Two AC-3 tier, Seven Sleeper Class Coaches, Three General Second Class and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition.

HOWRAH-MYSORE NEW TRAIN INTRODUCED


As announced in last Railway Budget for running of a weekly Superfast express train between Howrah & Mysore and to provide better facilities to the commuters, Railways have introduced a new weekly Superfast express train between the two cities.
 The regular service of 22817/22818 Howrah-Mysore-Howrah Weekly Superfast Express will commence from Howrah w.e.f. 24th Feb’12 & from Mysore w.e.f. 27thFeb’2012.
 22817/22818 Howrah-Mysore-Howrah Weekly Superfast Express will leave Howrahat 16.10hrs o­n every Friday w.e.f. 24th Feb’2012 and will arrive at Mysore at 05.00hrs o­n Sundays. In the return direction, this train will leave Mysore at 00.30hrs o­n every Monday w.e.f. 27thFeb’2012 (mid night of Sunday) and will arrive at Howrah at 14.50hrs o­n Tuesdays.
 This train has o­ne AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, Seven Sleeper Class Coaches, Six General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Palasa, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Katpadi  between Howrah & Mysore.

SHALIMAR-SECUNDERABAD EXPRESS TO BE INTRODUCED


As announced in last Railway Budget and with an aim to provide more passengers comfort to the commuters, Railways have decided to introduce a new weekly express between Shalimar and Secunderabad w.e.f. 24thFebruary 2012 from Shalimar& w.e.f. 26th Feb’2012from Secunderabad.
22849 Shalimar-Secunderabad weekly Express will leave Shalimar o­n every Friday at 12.20hrs and will arrive at Secunderabad at 15.00hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, 22850 Secunderabad-Shalimar weekly Express will leave Secunderabad o­n every Sundayat 5.30hrs and will arrive at Shalimar  at 09.20hrs o­n the next day.
This train has o­ne AC-2 tier, 02 AC-3 tiers, 07 Sleeper Classes, 06 General Second Class Coaches and 02 Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppage at Kharagpur, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Palasa, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam and Vijayawada between Shalimar & Secunderabad.

As announced in last Railway Budget for running of a weekly Superfast express train between Santragachhi & Mangaluru and to provide better facilities to the commuters, Railways have introduced a new Super Fast train between the two cities.
 The regular service of 22851/22852 Santragachhi-Mangaluru-SantragachhiWeekly Superfast Express will commence from Mangaluru w.e.f. 25thFeb’12 & from Santragachhi w.e.f. 1st March’2012.
 22851/22852 Santragachhi-Mangaluru-SantragachhiWeekly Superfast Express will leave Santragachhiat 16.05hrs o­n every Thursday w.e.f. 1st March’2012 and will arrive at Mangaluru at 09.45hrs o­n Saturdays. In the return direction, this train will leave Mangaluru at 22.45hrs o­n every Saturday w.e.f. 25thFeb’2012and will arrive at Santragachhi at 17.50hrs o­n Mondays.
 This train has o­ne AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, Seven Sleeper Class Coaches, Six General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Kharagpur, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Srikakulam, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Vijayawada and Katpadi  between Santragachhi & Mangaluru.

SUMMER SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN VISAKHAPATNAM & HYDERABAD


In view to clear wait listed passengers during summer and to provide better passenger comforts to the commuters, East Coast Railway has decided to run o­ne pair of bi-weekly summer special train between Visakhapatnam & Hyderabad.
07147/07148 Visakhapatnam-Hyderabad-Visakhapatnam bi-weekly special train will leave Visakhapatnam at 19.05hrs o­n every Saturday & Sunday between 7th April to 30th June 2012 and will arrive Hyderabad at 08.50hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, this train will leave Hyderabad at 19.30hrs o­n every Friday & Saturday between 5th April to 29th June 2012 and will arrive Visakhapatnam at 08.30hrs o­n the following days.

NEW TRAIN BETWEEN KHARAGPUR & VILLUPURAM TO BE INTRODUCED FROM 17TH FEBRUARY


As announced in last Railway Budget for running of a weekly express train between Kharagpur & Villupuram and to provide better facilities to the commuters, Railways have decided to introduce a new train between Kharagpur & Villupuram w.e.f. from 17thFebruary 2012.

On the inaugural run, Kharagpur-Villupuram-Kharagpurweekly Express will be inaugurated from Kharagpur Station and will run as a special train o­n open fast times towards Villupuram. However, the regular service of 22604/22603 Villupuram-Kharagpur-Villupuram Express will commence from Villupuram  w.e.f. 20th Feb’12 & from Kharagpur w.e.f. 22nd Feb’2012.

22604/22603 Villupuram-Kharagpur-Villupuram Weekly Superfast Express will leave Villupuramat 10.40hrs o­n every Monday w.e.f. 20thFeb’2012 and will arrive at Kharagpur at 19.30hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, this train will leave Kharagpurat 14.10hrs o­n every Wednesday w.e.f. 22ndFeb’2012 and will arrive at Villupuram at 23.00hrs o­n the following days.

          This train has o­ne AC-2 tier, o­ne AC-3 tier, Six Sleeper Class Coaches, Six General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Visakhapatnam, Vizianagaram, Brahmapur, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Balasore and Belda between Villupuram & Kharagpur.

VISAKHAPATNAM-DIGHA NEW TRAIN TO BE INTRODUCED FROM 17TH FEBRUARY


As announced in last Railway Budget for running of a weekly express train between Visakhapatnam & Digha and to provide better facilities to the commuters, Railways have decided to introduce a new train between Visakhapatnam & Digha w.e.f. from 17thFebruary 2012.

On the inaugural run, Digha-Visakhapatnam-Digha weekly Express will be inaugurated from Ramnagar Station and will run as a special train o­n open fast times towards Visakhapatnam. However, the regular service of 22874/22873 Visakhapatnam-Digha-VisakhapatnamExpress will commence from Visakhapatnam w.e.f. 23rd Feb’12 & from Digha w.e.f. 24thFeb’2012.

22874/22873Visakhapatnam-Digha-Visakhapatnam Weekly Superfast Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 17.50hrs o­n every Thursday w.e.f. 23rdFeb’2012 and will arrive at Digha at 09.30hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, this train will leave Digha at 17.15hrs o­n every Friday w.e.f. 24thFeb’2012 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 08.20hrs o­n the following days.

PURI-DIGHA NEW TRAIN TO BE INTRODUCED FROM 17TH FEBRUARY


As announced in last Railway Budget and to provide better facilities to the commuters, Railways have decided to introduce a new train between Puri & Digha w.e.f. from 17thFebruary 2012.

On the inaugural run, Digha-Puri-Digha weekly Express will be inaugurated from Digha Station and will run as a special train o­n open fast times towards Puri. However, the regular serviceof 22878/22877 Puri-Digha-PuriExpress will commence from Puri  w.e.f. 22nd Feb’12 & from Digha w.e.f. 23rd Feb’2012.

22878/22877 Puri-Digha-Puri Weekly Superfast Express will leave Puri at 23.35hrs o­n every Wednesday w.e.f. 22nd Feb’2012 and will arrive at Digha at 09.30hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, this train will leave Digha at 17.15hrs o­n every Thursday w.e.f. 23rd Feb’2012 and will arrive at Puri at 03.20hrs o­n the following days.

          This train has o­ne AC-2 tier, o­ne AC-3 tier, Five Sleeper Class Coaches, Three General Second Class Coaches and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jajpur-Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Balasore, Jaleswar, Kharagpur, Panskura, Tamluk and Kanthi between Puri & Digha.

NANDANKANAN EXPRESS TO STOP AT JALESWAR


With an aim to provide more passenger amenities to train commuters and in order to make it convenient for passengers, Railways have decided to provide additional stoppages of 12815/12816 Puri-New Delhi-Puri Nandankanan Express at Jaleswarwith effect from 15thFebruary 2012 o­n an experimental basis for a period of six months.

12815 Puri-New Delhi Nandankanan Express will arrive at Jaleswar at 16.09hrsand will leave at 16.11hrs towards New Delhi. In the return direction, 12816 New Delhi-Puri Nandankanan Express will arrive Jaleswar at 07.21hrs and will leave at 07.23hrs towards Puri. The timings and stoppages for this train scheduled at different stations will remain unchanged.

SEALDAH-PURI DURONTO TO BE INTRODUCED


As announced in last Railway Budget and with an aim to provide more passengers comfort to the commuters, Railways have decided to introduce a new tri-weekly Duronto Express between Sealdah and Puriw.e.f. 12th February 2012. o­n the inaugural day, this train will run as a special train from Sealdah to Puri o­n open fast timings. However, the regular service of this train will commence w.e.f. 14th February 2012 from Puri and w.e.f. 15thFeb’2012 from Sealdah as per scheduled timings.

 22202 Puri-Sealdah Duronto tri-weekly Express will leave Puri o­n every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday at 19.50hrs and will arrive at Sealdah at 04.00hrs o­n the next day’s w.e.f. 14th February 2012. In the return direction, 22201 Sealdah-Puri tri-weekly Duronto Express will leave Sealdah o­n every Monday, Wednesday and Fridays at 20.00hrs and will arrive at Puri at 04.00hrs o­n the next day’s w.e.f. 15th February 2012.

This train will have o­ne AC-2 tier, 04 AC-3 tiers, 07 Sleeper Classes and 02 Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having no commercial stoppage en-route.
