RAILWAY EXTENDS RUN OF BI-WEEKLY RAJDHANI TYPE SUPERFAST SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN MUMBAI CENTRAL-NEW DELHI


To clear extra rush of rail passengers during winter season, Railways have decided to extend the run of Bi-Weekly Rajdhani Type Superfast Puja/Winter holiday special train no. 09005/09006 Mumbai Central- New Delhi- Mumbai Central in both directions as per the following programme:-



The 09005 Mumbai Central- New Delhi Bi-Weekly Rajdhani Type Superfast Winter holiday special train will be extended from 16.12.2012 to 02.01.2013 (06 trips) from Mumbai Central on every Wednesday & Sunday.



In the return direction, the 09006 New Delhi- Mumbai Central Bi-Weekly Rajdhani Type Superfast Winter holiday special train will be extended from 17.12.2012 to 03.01.2013 (06 trips) from New Delhi on every Thursday & Monday.



The other features like route, timings, stoppages, composition etc. will remain as unchanged.

T. No.02205 Chennai Central – Madurai inaugural Duronto special will leave Chennai Central at 17.00 hrs. o­n 15.12.2012 and reach Madurai at 04.00 hrs. the next day.         T. No.02206 Madurai – Chennai Central inaugural Duronto special will leave Madurai at 22.40 hrs. o­n 16.12.2012 and reach Chennai Central at 07.10 hrs. the next day.

       

T. No.02207 Chennai Central - Thiruvananthapuram inaugural Duronto special will leave Chennai Central at 17.00 hrs. o­n 15.12.2012 and reach Thiruvananthapuram at 05.45 hrs. the next day.  T. No.22206 Madurai - Chennai Central AC Duronto bi-weekly express will leave Madurai at 22.40 hrs. o­n Tuesdays and Thursdays  and arrive  Chennai Central at 07.10 hrs. the next day.

      T. No.22207 Chennai Central – Thiruvananthapuram AC Duronto bi-weekly express will leave Chennai Central at 16.30 hrs. o­n Tuesdays and Fridays and arrive Thiruvananthapuram at 05.15 hrs. the next day.  T. No.22208 Thiruvananthapuram - Chennai Central AC Duronto bi-weekly express will leave Thiruvananthapuram at 21.30 hrs. o­n Wednesdays and Saturdays  and arrive  Chennai Central at 10.15 hrs. the next day.

      The composition of the above trains will be 1 AC First Class, 3 AC 2-tier and 9 AC 3-tier coaches.

Special train between Gorakhpur and Bandra (T)

TWO NEW TRAINS FROM VISAKHAPATNAM

As announced in last Railway Budget for running of weekly super fast trains towards Chennai Central & Sai Nagar Shirdi from Visakhapatnam and to provide better facilities to the commuters, Railways have decided to introduce two new super fast trains w.e.f. from 15th December 2012.

 On the inaugural run, i.e. o­n 15th December 2012 Visakhapatnam-Chennai Central and Visakhapatnam-Sai Nagar Shirdi weekly super fast trains will be inaugurated from Visakhapatnam Station and will run as special trains o­n open fast timings. However, the regular service of Visakhapatnam-Chennai Central weekly super fast express will commence from 17th December and Visakhapatnam-Sai Nagar Shirdi weekly super fast trains will commence from 20th December 2012.

22869 Visakhapatnam-Chennai Central weekly Super Fast Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 19.20hrs on every Monday w.e.f. 17th December 2012 and will arrive at Chennai Central at 08.55hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, 22870 Chennai Central-Visakhapatnam weekly Super Fast Express will leave Chennai Central at 21.10hrs on every Tuesday w.e.f. 18th December 2012 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 10.25hrs o­n every Wednesday.

        This train has  One AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, Seven Sleeper Class, Four General Second Class and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Duvvada, Ankapalli, Narasingapalli, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijaywada, o­ngole, Nellore and Guddur between Visakhapatnam and Chennai Central.

Similarly, 22801 Visakhapatnam-Sai Nagar Shirdi weekly Super Fast Express will leave Visakhapatnam at 09.10hrs on every Thursday w.e.f. 20th December 2012 and will arrive at Sai Nagar Shirdi at 12.55hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, 22802 Sai Nagar Shirdi-Visakhapatnam weekly Super Fast Express will leave Sai Nagar Shirdi at 19.10hrs on every Friday w.e.f. 21st December 2012 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 22.20hrs o­n every Saturday.

        This train has  One AC-2 tier, Two AC-3 tier, Seven Sleeper Class, Four General Second Class and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Duvvada, Ankapalli, Elamanchili, Tuni, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijaywada, Khammam, Warangal, Kazipet, Secunderabad, Kamareddi, Nizamabad, Nanded, Purna, Parbhani, Jalna, Aurangabad, Nagarsol, Manmad, Kopargaon, and Puntamba Visakhapatnam and Sai Nagar Shirdi.

SCR to Introduce one More Express Train (Bi-Weekly) Between Secunderabad and Tirupati

South Central Railway will introduce Train No. 12770 / 12769 Secunderabad-Tirupati-Secunderabad bi-weekly Express Train between Secunderabad and Tirupti at 12 00 Noon (inaugural Train) o­n 8th December, 2012 from Secunderabad Railway Station. This train will run via Kacheguda, Kurnool Town, Dhone, Gooty, Dharmavaram, Piler and Pakala.

Shri N. Kiran Kuamar Reddy, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh will flag off the inaugural run of the train at Secunderabad Railway Station at 12 00 Noon o­n 8th December, 2012. Shri Kotla Jaya Surya Prakash Reddy, Hon’ble Minister of State for Railways will preside over the inaugural function and other public representatives / dignitaries will participate.

The regular service of Train No.12770 Secunderabad – Tirupati Bi-Weekly Express will depart Secunderabad at 17 40 hrs o­n Tuesdays and Saturdays and arrive Tirupati at 06 35 hrs o­n the next day. In the return direction, Train No. 12769 Tirupati-Secunderabad Bi-weekly Express will depart Tirupati at 15 10 hrs o­n Fridays and Sundays and arrive Secunderabad at 04 05 hrs o­n the next day.

Special Train from Dadar to Tirunelveli

Railways has decided to run special train FROM Dadar TO Tirunelveli to clear the extra rush of passengers during winter season. The details of services as under –

06745 Special will leave Dadar at 20.40 hrs. o­n 7.12.2012  and arrive Tirunelveli at 04.00 hrs. o­n 9.12.2012.

Composition: o­ne AC-2 Tier, 6 Sleeper Class, 6 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake vans.

Garibrath Special Trains between Pune and Chennai Central

Railways will run 8 Weekly Specials between Pune and Chennai Central to clear the extra rush of Passengers during Winter season. The details are as under –

Train No. 06028 Special will leave Chennai Central at 16.00 hrs o­n every Wednesday from 5.12.2012 to 26.12.2012 and will arrive Pune at 13.00 hrs next day.

Train No. 06027 Special will leave Pune at 14.15 hrs o­n every Thursday from 6.12.2012 to 27.12.2012 and will arrive Chennai Central at 11.35 hrs next day.

Halts -   Daund, Solapur, Gulbarga, Wadi, Yadgir, Raichur, Mantralayam Road, Adoni, Guntakal, Gooty, Tadipatri, Muddanuru, Yerraguntla, Kadapa, Nandalur, Razampet, Koduru, Renigunta, Arakkonam, Perambur (for 06027 o­nly)

Composition: 14 AC 3-tier and 2 Luggage cum generator vans.

Special Trains between Pune and Hazur Saheb Nanded

Railways will run 4 special trains between Pune and Hazur Saheb Nanded to clear the extra rush of passengers during winter season.  The details are as under:

07629 Special will leave Hazur Saheb Nanded at 21.20 hrs o­n 6.12.2012 & 13.12.2012 (Thursday) and arrive Pune at 11.05 hrs next day.

07630 Special will leave Pune at 22.00 hrs o­n 7.12.2012 & 14.12.2012 (Friday) and arrive Hazur Saheb Nanded at 10.20 hrs next day.

HALTS:      Purna, Parbhani, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Manmad, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahmadnagar, Daund

COMPOSITION:      o­ne AC-2 Tier, o­ne AC-3 Tier, 3 Sleeper Class, 4 General Second Class, 4 General Second Class cum Guard’s Brake Vans.

Special Trains From Secunderabad to Kakinada

In order to clear extra rush of passengers,  South Central Railway will run  Special trains from  Secunderabad to Kakinada Town   as per the following schedule:-

Train No. 07001 Secunderabad-Kakinada Town Special trainwill depart Secunderabad at 23 05 hrs o­n 6th December, 2012  and arrive  Kakinada Town   at 9 30 hrs, o­n the next day.  This train will consist  of ten Sleeper Class,  five General Second Class and two  Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches,  totaling to seventeen coaches.

Train No. 07001 Secunderabad-Kakinada Town Special trainwill depart Secunderabad at 23 05 hrs o­n 8th December, 2012  and arrive  Kakinada Town   at 9 30 hrs, o­n the next day.  This train will consist  of ten Sleeper Class,  two General Second Class , o­ne AC III Tier and two  Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches,  totaling to seventeen coaches.

These trains will stop enroute at Kazipet, Warangal, Khammam, Vijayawada, Eluru, Tadepalligudem, Nidadavolu, Rajahmundry, Anaparti and Samalkot.

Extension of Ahmadabad -Lucknow Weekly Holiday Special Train.

Ahmadabad-Lucknow-Ahmadabad Weekly Holiday Special Train is further extended to run four more trips up to 26-Dec-2012.

WINTER SPECIAL BETWEEN HATIA AND VISAKHAPATNAM

In view to avoid rush in regular trains and to provide better comfort to the commuters in winter season; Railways have decided to run a special train between Hatia and Visakhapatnam through Sambalpur and Titlagarh.


08637/08638 Hatia-Visakhapatnam-Hatia weekly Special train will leave Hatia at 18.20hrs o­n every Monday between 3rd December 2012 to 31st December 2012 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 09.45hrs o­n the next days. In the return direction, this train will leave Visakhapatnam at 14.25hrs o­n every Tuesday between 4th December 2012 to 1st January 2013 and will arrive at Hatia at 04.45hrs o­n the following days.


This train will have Two AC-3 tier, Nine Sleeper Class, Three General Second Class and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sambalpur, Bargarh Road, Bolangir, Titlagarh, Kesinga, Muniguda, Rayagada, Parbatipuram, Bobbili and Vizianagaram between Hatia and Visakhapatnam.

Special Trains Between Nanded and Pune

In order to clear extra rush of passengers,  South Central Railway will run  Special trains between Nanded and Pune   as per the following schedule:-

Train No.07629 Nanded-Pune Special train will depart Nanded at 21 20 hrs o­n 6th and 13th December, 2012 ( Thursdays ) and arrive  Pune  at 11 05 hrs, o­n the next day.

In the return direction, Train No. 07630 Pune -Nanded Special train will depart Pune  at 22 00 hrs o­n 7th and 14th  December, 2012 ( Fridays ) and arrive Nanded at 10 20 hrs o­n the next day.

Enroute, these Trains will stop at Purna, Parbhani, Selu, Partur, Jalna, Aurangabad, Manmad, Kopargaon, Belapur, Ahmadnagar, and Daund  Stations.

These trains will consist of   one AC II Tier, o­ne AC III Tier,  and three Sleeper Class,  four General Second Class and two  Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches,  totaling to eleven coaches.

Inauguration of New Tri Weekly deferred

In view of sad demise of Shri Inder Kumar Gujral, Hon’ble Former Prime Minister of India yesterday i.e., 30th November 2012,  a seven days mourning period is being observed by the Nation.

On account of the same, the inauguration of new TrainNo. 12775 / 12776 Kakinada Town-Secunderabad-Kakinada Town Tri-weekly AC express proposed o­n 2nd   December, 2012 as announced yesterday  (vide SCR PR No.334)  stands postponed.

The new date of commencement of Train No. 12775 /12776 Kakinada Town- Secunderabad - Kakinada Town Tri-weekly AC express train service will be notified later.

Special Trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Secunderabad

Railways have decided to run special trains between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus and Secunderabad to clear the extra rush of passengers. The details are under –

02219 special will leave Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.05 pm o­n every Monday from 3.12.2012 to 31.12.2012 (5 trips) and will reach Secunderabad at 11.05 am next day.

02220 special will leave Secunderabad at 10.00 pm o­n every Sunday from 2.12.2012 to 30.12.2012 (5 trips) and will arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 11.05 am next day.

Halts: Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Solapur, Wadi, Seram, Begumpet.

   

Composition: O­ne First AC, Two AC-2 Tier, 8 AC-3 Tier, One AC Pantry Car and two luggage and generator vans

New Features in eRail new extension 4.1

New Features and a new version of plugin has been updated in eRail.in on 18th Oct.

New Features:

PNR history is saved now with more detail like train number, Date of Journey, Route etc..
PNR history has been moved from right side tab to bottom window of the screen due to space
To get PNR history you need to click in drop menu box of PNR where you type 10 digit PNR number.


Search history also has been moved from right side tab to bottom window of the screen due to space.

View Currant Availability FOR TRAINS DEPARTING IN NEXT 4 HRS AFTER CHARTING:

To view this feature type the from and to station in drop box and now choose the station of From station or To Station for  which you want to see the Current Availability and click on CA next to route link at step number 3.


How to install New Extension for Google Chrome?
Before installation of New Extension ( link is given at the home page of eRail.in) please remove the old extension and check whether you have updated version ( minimum version should be 22)

How to check that I have updated Google chrome version?
Click  on Customize and control Google Chrome ikon ( at the top right side of Google chrome)
once you click you will get a top up and from that top up please click on about Google Chrome and a new tab will open with the detail of version . See whether you have version 22 installaled other wise update your Chrome by clicking on update at the same tab page.

How to remove the old Extension to update new version of Extension?

Click  on Customize and control Google Chrome ikon ( at the top right side of Google chrome)
once you click you will get a top up and from that top up please click on Tools and you will get another top up window and choose Extension and you will get detail of all Extension installed in your system, Now click on remove (a dustbin type ikon) next to eRail.in Extension and the old version will be removed from system.

Now go to home page of eRail.in and click on the new extension link
Chrome web store page will open and now click on ADD to Chrome at the top right side of screen
Once you click on Add to chrome  you will get a pop up window  click ADD in the pop window and the extension will get installed in your system.

Now refresh your page ( press F5) and clear cache of your browser and open eRail .

How to clear Cache of Google Chrome browser?

Click  on Customize and control Google Chrome ikon ( at the top right side of Google chrome)
once you click you will get a top up and from that top up please click on Tools and you will get another top up window and choose Clear browsing Data Now you will get a top up window and from that top up window clear cache of your browser .



How to install New Extension for Mozilla Firefox?
Before installation of New Extension ( link is given at the home page of eRail.in when you click on AV link) please remove the old extension and check whether you have updated version ( minimum version should be 16)

How to check that I have updated Mozilla Firefox version?
Click  on help tab in Mozilla Browser and select  about Firefox.
once you click about Firefox you will get a top up and from that top up please click whether you have version 16 or above  installaled other wise update your Firefox  by clicking on update at the same tab page.

How to remove the old Extension to update new version of Extension?

Click  on Tools tab in Mozilla Browser and select Add-On
once you click on Add on  you will get a page of all extension in your browser now in right side panel choose Extension and check whether you have the latest version of eRail plugin which is 5.0.rev103 if not then choose remove from the bottom of the screen and then close the firefox . Now open Firefox again and go to erail.in and search any two route and after getting the list of train click on AV will show you the link to install click on that link to install the latest version of Extension in your browser

Now refresh your page ( press F5) and clear cache of your browser and open eRail .

How to clear Cache of Firefox browser?

Click  on Tools and Select Clear Recent history and a top up will come and choose Cache from the drop box in the screen and choose Time range to clear as everything and then click on Clear Now at the bottom of top up.
