Augment by East Coast Railways
In view of poor patronization in Durg-Jagadalpur-Durg Express via Rayagada and Titilagarh will be augmented with one composite coach of both AC-2 tier & AC-3 tier coach in place of one AC-2 tier and one AC-3 tier coaches w.e.f 12th November from Durg and w.e.f. 13th November from Jagadalpur.

With a view to provide more comfortable journey to the passengers and to avoid rush, Railways have decided to augment one AC Chair Car coach and one Second Class Chair Car Coach permanently in 12821/12822 Howrah-Puri-Howrah Dhauli Express w.e.f. 9th September from Howrah and w.e.f. 10th September 2013 from Puri. 02837 Santragachhi-Puri special train will leave Santragachhi at 1900 hrs on every Friday between 4th October to 29th November 2013 and will arrive at Puri at 0415 hrs on the following day. In the return direction, 02838 Puri-Santragachhi special train will leave Puri at 1820 hrs on every Saturday between 5th October to 30th November 2013 and will arrive at Santragachhi at 0310 hrs on the next day.
This special train has one AC-2 tier, three AC-3 tiers, Eleven Sleeper Classes and Two Guard cum Luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Kharagpur, Balasore, Bhadrak, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar and Khurda Road between Santragachhi and Puri.
Special train between Hatia and Yesvantpur:
08637 Hatia-Yesvantpur special train will leave Hatia at 1815 hrs on every Saturday between 7th September to 26th October 2013 and will arrive at Yesvantpur at 0500 hrs on every Monday. In the return direction, 08638 Yesvantpur-Hatia special train will leave Yesvantpur at 0030 hrs on every Tuesday (Midnight of Monday) between 10th September to 29th October 2013 and will arrive at Hatia at 1330 hrs on every Wednesday.

In the return direction, 08570 Kollam-Visakhapatnam special train will leave Kollam at 2100 hrs on every Monday & Friday between 9th September to 30th September 2013 and will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 0135 hrs on every Wednesday & Sunday (after midnight of Tuesday & Saturday).

CST Mumbai-Nagercoil Bi-weekly Express will run With out touching Tirupati
Train no. 16352 Nagercoil – CST Mumbai Bi-weekly Express will be diverted to run via Renigunta with out touching Tirupati with effect form 5th September, 2013.

Augmentation of Existing Trains during Ganpati Festival
Central Railway will augment following trains to clear the wait listed passengers and extra rush of passengers during Ganapati Festival. This is in addition to running 126 specials already announced to be run during the festival. The augmentation of existing trains will generate 1089 reserved and 6480 unreserved accommodation, the details of which are as under-
12133 Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus – Mangalor Jn. Express will be augmented by one AC 2-tier cum AC 3-Tier coach Ex CSTM from 5.9.2013 to 8.9.2013.
12051 Dadar Terminus – Madgaon Janshatabdi Express will be augmented by Two Second Class seating Jan-chair cars from 5.9.2013 to 11.9.2013.
01033 Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus – Madgaon special will be augmented by one AC 3-tier coach on 7.9.2013.

Introduction of Bhubaneswar-Tirupati- Bhubaneswar Weekly Superfast Express
As announced in Railway Budget 2013-14 a new weekly train will be introduced between Bhubaneswar and Tirupati as detailed below:-
With effect from 14th September 2013, Train No. 22879 Bhubaneswar - Tirupati weekly superfast Express will depart Bhubaneswar at 12 00 hrs on Saturdays and arrive Tirupati at 09 25 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, with effect from 15th September 2013, Train No. 22880 Tirupati - Bhubaneswar weekly superfast Express will depart Tirupati at 12 45 hrs on Sundays and arrive Bhubaneswar at 10 10 hrs on the next day.
Enroute, this train will stop at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Chatrapur, Brahmapur, Ichchapuram, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Vishakhapatnam, Duvvada, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, ongole, Nellore, Gudur and Renigunta in both the directions.
This train will consist of 22 Coaches viz., one AC II tier, three AC III tier, eleven Sleeper Class, four General Second Class, one Pantry Car and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van coaches.

Frequency of Tirupati-Karimnagar-Tirupati Express Increased from Weekly to Bi-Weekly
The frequency of Tr. No. 12761 / 12762 Tirupati-Karimnagar-Tirupati Express will be increased from Weekly to Bi-Weekly.
Accordingly, with effect from 7th September 2013, the frequency of Train no. 12761 Tirupati-Karimnagar Express, currently departing Tirupati at 22 40 hrs on Wednesdays, will depart on Saturdays also.
With effect from 8th September, 2013, the frequency of Train no. 12762 Karimnagar - Tirupati Express, currently departing Karimnagar at 19 15 hrs on Thursdays, will depart on Sundays also.
Accordingly, with effect from 7th September 2013, the frequency of Train no. 12761 Tirupati-Karimnagar Express, currently departing Tirupati at 22 40 hrs on Wednesdays, will depart on Saturdays also.
With effect from 8th September, 2013, the frequency of Train no. 12762 Karimnagar - Tirupati Express, currently departing Karimnagar at 19 15 hrs on Thursdays, will depart on Sundays also.
