AUGMENTATION (EXTRA COACH)

To clear extra rush of the passengers during summer season , Railways have decided to augment the passenger carrying capacity of the train no. 12963/12964 H.Nizamuddin- Udaipur Intercity Express on temporary basis by One additional AC 3 Tier coach with effect from 29.4.11 to 31.5.11 when departing from Udaipur and from 30.4.11 to 1.6.11 when departing from H.Nizamuddin.

SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN HYDERABAD-NEW DELHI


Due to Air India pilots’ strike, Railways will run a special train between Hyderabad-New Delhi – Hyderabad via Ballarshah, Nagpur as per the following programme:
The 07129 Hyderabad-New Delhi Special train will depart from Hyderabad on 30.4.2011 at 10.15 a.m. to reach New Delhi at 3.40 p.m. the next day. While in the return direction the 07130 New Delhi- Hyderabad Special train will depart from New Delhi on 1.5.2011 at 11.50 p.m. to reach Hyderabadat 5.10 a.m. the third day. Consisting of One A.C. 2 Tier,One AC 3 Tier, Ten sleeper class, Two second class, Two second cum luggage van coaches,the 07129/07130 Hyderabad-New Delhi- Hyderabad Special train will stop at Mathura Jn., Agra Cantt., Gwalior, Jhansi, Lalitpur, Bina, Bhopal, Itarsi, Nagpur, Ballarshah, Kazipet & Secundrabad stations enroute in both directions.

WR to run additional AC special trains between Bandra Terminus & Jaipur


Western Railway has decided to run additional AC holiday special trains  between  Bandra Terminus  &  Jaipur for the convenience of passengers.
Train No.09025 Bandra Terminus  - Jaipur AC Special will leave from Bandra Terminus at 23.45 hrs from 2nd May to 23rd May ,2011 on every Monday  and reach Jaipur at 21.20 hrs the next day. Similarly train No.09026 Jaipur – Bandra Terminus AC Special will leave from Jaipur  at 23.35 hrs from 3rd  May to 24th  May ,2011 on every Tuesday and  arrive Bandra Terminus at 22.55 hrs the next day. Enroute the train will halt at Borivali, , Vapi, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mahesana Jn, Palanpur, Abu Road, Falna , Marwar Jn., Beawar , Ajmer , Kishangarh and Phulera  stations in both the directions. This Train will have AC Chair Car coaches.
The booking for train no 09025 will open on 01/05/2011.

SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN CHENNAI - BANGALORE


Chennai Central – Bangalore City - Chennai Central (Day Time) Superfast Specials: T. No. 06029 Chennai Central – Bangalore City Superfast Special will leave Chennai Central at 08.45 hrs. on 29.04.2011 (Friday), 30.04.2011 (Saturday) & 01.05.2011 (Sunday) and arrive Bangalore City at 14.45 hrs. same day.T. No. 06030 Bangalore City – Chennai Central Superfast Special will leave Bangalore City at 16.10 hrs. on 29.04.2011 (Friday), 30.04.2011 (Saturday) & 01.05.2011 (Sunday) and arrive Chennai Central at 22.30 hrs. same day. The composition of the trains will be 2 AC 3-tier, 3 Sleeper Class, 5 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. Western Railway has decided to run 6 more holiday special trainsbetween Bandra Terminus & Bikaner for the convenience of passengers.
 Train No.09023 Bandra Terminus- Bikaner Special will leave from Bandra Terminus at 23.45 hrs on 01st , 04th & 8th May ,2011and reach Bikaner at 22.15 hrs the next day. Similarly train No.09024 Bikaner – Bandra Terminus Special will leave from Bikanerat 23.45 hrs on 02nd,05th & 09th May , 2011 andarrive Bandra Terminus at 22.55 hrs the next day. Due to Air India pilots’ strike Northern Railway will run two Rajdhani Type “Superfast” special trains between New Delhi – Mumbai Central and New Delhi – Sealdah as per the following programme: The 04092/04091 New Delhi – Mumbai central – New Delhi Rajdhani Type “Superfast” special The 04092 New Delhi – Mumbai Central Rajdhani Type special train will depart from New Delhi at 11.35 p.m. on date (i.e. 28.4.2011) to reach Mumbai Central at 8.55 p.m. the next day. In return direction the 04091 Mumbai Central – New Delhi Rajdhani Type special train will depart from Mumbai Central at 7.45 p.m. on 30.4.2011 to reach New Delhi at 5.10 p.m. the next day. Consisting of Ist AC, 2nd AC and AC 3 Tier coaches, the 04092/04091 will stop at Mathura Jn., Kota, Ratlam, Vadodra, Surat & Borivalli stations enroute in both directions. The 04002/04001 New Delhi – Sealdah – New Delhi Rajdhani Type “Superfast” special The 04002 New Delhi – Sealdah Rajdhani Type special will depart from New Delhi at 8.05 p.m. on date (i.e. 28.4.2011) to reach Sealdah at 12.25 hrs. the next day. In return direction the 04001 Sealdah – New Delhi Rajdhani Type special will depart from Sealdah at 6.40 p.m. on 30-4-2011 to reach New Delhi at 11.00 a.m. the next day. Consisting of Ist AC, 2nd AC, AC 3 Tier coachs, 04002/04001 will stop at Kanpur Central, Mughalsarai & Dhanbad stations enroute in both directions. The tickets to travel by these special trains are available on PRS counters across the country and can also be purchased from Air India Ticket Counters at Connaught Circus and Domestic Airport in Delhi.

Two special trains between Patna and Bangalore


The East Central Railway (ECR) has decided to run two special trains for examinees from Darbhanga and Patna for Bangalore on May 4 and 5 respectively. These special trains are being introduced to clear the rush of examinees who are going to Bangalore to appear at the pre-engineering examinations being conducted in Karnataka.
According to ECR CPRO Dilip Kumar, the Darbhanga-Bangalore special train (05287-05288) will leave Darbhanga at 6.40 am on May 4 (Wednesday). It will reach Patna Junction the same day at 12.15 pm. However, it will reach Yashwantpur (Bangalore) on Friday at 2.30 pm. It will have the load combination of about 22 bogies, including AC-3, sleeper, general and brake vans, he said, adding the train will return from Yashwantpur on Friday night at 11.30 pm for Darbhanga.
The CPRO said that another special train (03285-03286) will leave Patna Junction on May 5 (Thursday) for Yashwantpur. It will have the load combination of about 23 bogies, including AC-2, AC-3, sleeper, general and brake vans. It will leave Patna Junction at 12.15 pm on Thursday reaching Yashwantpur on Saturday. On its return journey, it will leave Yashwantpur on May 9 for Patna Junction, he said, adding the fare will be the same for these two trains as being charged in mail and express trains.
According to sources, railways has started booking of tickets for these two special trains. Efforts are on to provide proper amenities to passengers on running trains including meals and cleanliness, sources said.

Special Traffic Block from 27 to 29.4.2011


Central Railway will operate 3 special traffic blocks after the midnight between 2.00 am to 3.40 am o­n 27.4.2011, 28.4.2011 and 29.4.2011 o­n Kalyan –Thane section for erection of Masts, brackets, section insulators and adjustment of turnout and cross over in connection with DC-AC conversion.
RESCHEDULING OF SUBURBAN SERVICE o­n 27.4.2011,28.4.2011& 29.4.2011:
S-2 Karjat- Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus slow local will leave Karjat at 3.00 am instead of 2.30 am. This train will run as Fast train between Kalyan and Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus and will halt at Dombivli, Thane, Ghatkopar, Kurla, Dadar and Byculla stations & will arrive Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus at 4.59 am.
DIVERSION OF UP MAIL/EXPRESS TRAINS o­n 27.4.2011,28.4.2011 & 29.4.2011:
Following mail/express/passenger trains will be diverted via Karjat – Panvel – Diva and will arrive 25 minutes behind schedule at their destination.These trains will be given halt at Diva station for Kalyan passengers.

KONARK EXPRESS TO HAVE ONE MORE COACH


In view the demands from the passengers, East Coast Railway has augmented one Sleeper Class Coach permanently in 11020/11019 Bhubaneswar-CSTM (Mumbai) Konark Express w.e.f. 24th April 2011 from Bhubaneswar & w.e.f. 26th April 2011 from CSTM.
After augmentation, this train will run with its revised composition of 22 coaches i.e. One AC-2 tier, Four AC-3 tiers, 12 Sleeper Class Coaches, Two General Second Class Coaches, Two Guard cum Luggage Vans and One Pantry Car coach.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS


For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush of passengers, Northern Railway has decided to temporarily augment the passenger carrying capacity of the following trains as per the programme:
The 14650/14649 & 14674/14673 Amritsar- Jaynagar –Amritsar Saryu Yammuna and Shaheed Express trains will be augmented by one additional Sleeper class coach from 25.4.2011 to 30.6.11 when departing from Amritsar and from 27.4.11 to 2.7.11 when departing from Jaynagar.
The 14524/14523 Ambala Cantt. – Muzaffarpur –Ambala Cantt. Harihar Express train will be augmented by one additional Sleeper class coach from 26.4.2011 to 28.6.11 when departing from Ambala Cantt. and from 28.4.11 to 30.6.11 when departing from Muzaffarpur.
 The 14014/14013 Delhi Jn. –Sultanpur-Delhi Jn.Sadbhavna Express train will be augmented by one additional Sleeper class coach from 25.4.2011 to 27.6.11 when departing from Delhi Jn.  and from 26.4.11 to 28.6.11 when departing from Sultanpur.
 The 14018/14017 Delhi Jn. – Muzaffarpur.-Delhi Jn. Sadbhavna Express train will be augmented by one additional Sleeper class coach from 27.4.2011 to 29.6.11 when departing from Delhi Jn.  and from 29.4.11 to 1.7.11 when departing from Muzaffarpur.
 The 15707/15708 Katihar- Amritsar -. Katihar Express train has been augmented by one additional Sleeper class coach with immediate effect upto 30.6.11 when departing from Katihar and from 25.4.11 to 3.7.11 when departing from Amritsar.
 The 12523/12524 New Jalpaiguri – New Delhi -New Jalpaiguri Express train has been augmented by one additional Sleeper class coach on nominated days with immediate effect upto 28.6.11 when departing from New Jalpaiguri and upto 29.6.11 when departing from New Delhi.
 The 12501/12502 Guwahati – New Delhi -Guwahati Poorvottar Express train will be augmented by one additional Sleeper class coach on nominated days from 26.4.11 to 29.6.11 when departing from Guwahati and from 27.4.11 to 30 .6.11 when departing from New Delhi.
 The 15609/15610 Guwahati – Lalgarh-Guwahati Avadh Assam Express train will be augmented by one additional Sleeper class coach from 26.4.11 to 30.6.11 when departing from Guwahati and from 29.4.11 to 3.7.11 when departing from Lalgarh.
 The 15903/15904 Dibrugarh – Chandigarh--Dibrugarh Express train will be augmented by one additional Sleeper class coach on nominated days from 25.4.11 to 27.6.11 when departing from Dibrugarh and from 27.4.11 to 29.6.11 when departing from Chandigarh.

MONSOON TIME TABLE FOR TRAINS TO KONKAN RAILWAY


Due to the likelihood of heavy rains and blockade in the coastal areas of Konkan Railway during the monsoon period, the Monsoon Time Table for the trains passing Konkan Railway will be effective during the period from 10.6.11 to 31.10.11. As a result the following trains will see a slight change in their timings, as under:

12618/12617 H.NIZAMUDDIN-ERNAKULAM-NIZAMUDDIN MANGLA EXPRESS(EFFECTIVE FROM 10.6.11 TO 31.10.11)

The 12618 Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Mangla Express will depart from Nizamuddin at 9.20 a.m to reach Ernakulam Jn. at 12.00(noon) as against the scheduled time of 10.00 a.m the third day. While in the return direction the 12617 Ernakulam-Nizamuddin Mangla Express will depart from Ernakulam at 10.45 a.m instead of scheduled time of 1.10 p.m to reach H. Nizamuddin at the scheduled time of 1.10 p.m the third day. The timings of the intervening stoppages will change accordingly.

12432/12431 H.NIZAMUDDIN-TRIVANDRUM-H.NIZAMUDDIN RAJDHANI EXPRESS(EFFECTIVE FROM 10.6.11 TO 31.10.11)

While in the return direction the 12287 Kochuveli-Dehradun Express will depart from Kochuveli at 8.50 a.m to reach Dehradun at 10.20 p.m instead of scheduled time of 6.00 p.m the third day. The timings of the intervening stoppages will change accordingly.

The 12284 Nizamuddin-Ernakulam Duronto Express will depart from H.Nizamuddin at 9.35 p.m to reach Ernakulam Jn. at 6.30 p.m as against the scheduled time of 3.30 p.m. While in the return direction the 12283 Ernakulam-H.Nizamuddin Duronto Express will depart from Ernakulam at 11.30 p.m to reach H.Nizamuddin at 8.40 p.m instead of scheduled time of 7.30 p.m .

Special train


With a view to clearing extra rush of passengers on Nagercoil- Gandhidham sector, the railways will run a special train on April 21. Train 06060, Nagercoil-Gandhidham Express will start at 7.25 am from Nagercoil junction on April 21 and reach Gandhidham at 2 pm on April 23.


With a composition of one AC III tier, nine sleeper class and four general coaches, the train will have stops at Thiruvananthapuram Central, Kollam, Kayankulam, Chengannur, Tiruvalla, Kottayam, Ernakulam Town, Aluva, Thrissur, Shoranur, Tirur, Kozhikode, Vadakara, Thalasseri, Kannur, Kasaragod, Mangalore Junction, Udupi, Kundapura, Karwar, Madgaon, Sawantwadi Road, Ratnagiri, Chiplun, Panvel, Vasai Road, Valsad, Surat, Vadodra, Anand, Ahmedabad, Viramgam, Garangadhra, and Samakhiyali.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION


To clear extra rush of passengers during summer season, Railways have decided to augment temporarily the passenger carrying capacity of train nos. 12226/12225 Delhi Jn.-Azamgarh Kaifiyaat Express, 12231/12232 Lucknow-Chandigarh Express, 14008/14007Delhi Jn. – Muzaffarpur Sadbhawana Express and 14016/14015 Delhi Jn.- Raxaul Sadbhawana Express by One additional Sleeper class coach each as per the programmme:

The 12226/12225 Delhi Jn.-Azamgarh Kaifiyaat Express will be augmented by one additional sleeper class coach with effect from 15.4.2011upto 6.7.2011 when departing from Delhi Jn. and from 16.4.11 upto 7.7.11 when departing from -Azamgarh.

The12231/12232 Lucknow- Chandigarh Express will be augmented by one additional sleeper class coach with effect from 15.4.2011upto 6.7.2011 when departing from Lucknow. and from 18.4.11 upto 9.7.11 when departing from -Chandigarh.

The 14008/14007 Delhi Jn.-Muzaffarpur Sadbhawana Express will be augmented by one additional sleeper class coach with effect from 19.4.2011upto 5.7.2011 when departing from Delhi Jn. and from 21.4.11 upto 7.7.11 when departing from -Muzaffarpur.

ECoR TO AUGMENT MORE COACHES IN FIVE TRAINS


To avoid additional rush in 18447/18448 Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur-Bhubaneswar Hirakhand Express will be augmented with One Sleeper Class & One General Second Class Coach from 12th April to 30th June 2011 from Bhubaneswar and from 13th April to1st July 2011 from Jagadalpur. Similarly, 58501/58502 Visakhapatnam-Kirandul-Visakhapatnam Passenger will be augmented with One General Second Class Coach from 12th April to 30th June 2011 from Visakhapatnam and from 13th April to1st July 2011 from Kirandul.

In view of heavy rush and demands from the passengers, East Coast Railway has decided to augment additional coaches in five important trains permanently.

12801/12802 Puri-New Delhi-Puri Purusottam Express will be augmented permanently by one sleeper class coach w.e.f. 1st May 2011.

Similarly, 12895/12896 Howrah-Puri-Howrah weekly & 12898/12897 Bhubaneswar-Puducherry-Bhubaneswar will be augmented permanently with one AC-3 tier coach w.e.f. 6th & 10th May respectively.

18477/18478 Puri-Haridwar-Puri Utkal Express will be augmented permanently with one General 2nd Class coach w.e.f. 12th April 2011.

18105/18106 Rourkela-Bhubaneswar-Rourkela Express has already been augmented with one AC Chair Car coach permanently w.e.f. from 1st April 2011.

NEW SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN PANIPAT - ROHTAK

For the convenience of rail passengers,Northern Railway has decided to introduce a special train no. 04061/04062 between Rohtak & Panipat from 8.4.2011 to 30.6.11. on experimental basis. The 04061 Rohtak Jn.-Panipat Jn.Special train will depart from Rohtak Jn at 11.30 a.m to reach Panipat at1.55 p.m the same day. While in the return direction, the 04062 Panipat – Rohtak special will depart from Panipat Jn.at 2.30 p.m to reach Rohtak at 4.30 p.m the same day. The 04061/04062 special train will stop at Makrauli, Jasia, Rukhi, Bhainswan, Gohana, Mudlana, Dhurana, Israna, Naulatha, Binjhol Halt stations enroute in both the directions.
