Scr to run Four Super Fast Special Trains between Secunderabad and Visakhapatnam


In order to clear extra rush of passenger during summer season, South Central Railway will run four Super FastSpecial Trains between Secunderabadand Visakhapatnam as per the following schedule:-
Train No. 08573 Secunderabad – Visakhapatnam special train will depart Secunderabad at 20 40 hrs on 30th May and 6th June, 2011 and arrive Visakhapatnam at 06 05 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train no. 08574 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabadspecial train will depart Visakhapatnam at 22 35 hrs on 31st May and 7th June, 2011 and arrive Secunderabad at 08 00 hrs on the next day. Enroute,these special trains will stop at Vijayawada, Rajahmundry and Duvvada. These special trains will have 15 coaches Viz.,one AC II Tier,one AC III Tier,nine Sleeper Class, two General Second Classand two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van coaches.

WR TO RUN URS SPECIAL TRAINS TO JAIPUR , PHULERA


With a view to clear heavy passenger traffic on account of Khwaja Moinuddin Chisti's Urs at Ajmer and to facilitate passengers , Western Railway will run one trip each of Urs Specials to Jaipur and Phulera from Mumbai .
Train No.09027 Mumbai Central – Jaipur Urs Special will leave Mumbai Central at 11.50hrs on 04thJune, 2011 and reach Jaipur at 08.50 hrs the next day. Similarly in return direction, Train No.09028 will depart from Jaipur at 16.10hrs on 05thJune, 2011 and arrive Bandra Terminus at 16.45 hrs, the next day. Enroute, the train will halt at Borivali, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi Road , Falna, , Marwar Jn, Beawar , Ajmer , Madar , Kishangarh and Phulera stations in both directions.
Train No.09029 Bandra (T) – Phulera Urs Special will leave Bandra Terminus at 23.25 hrs on 07thJune, 2011 and reach Phulera at 20.00 hrs the next day. Similarly in return direction, Train No. 09030 will depart from Phulera at 21.00hrs on 08thJune, 2011 and arrive Bandra Terminus at 19.30 hrs, the next day. Enroute, the train will halt at Borivali, Valsad, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Ahmedabad, Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi Road ,Falna, , Marwar Jn, Beawar , Ajmer , and Madar stations in both directions.
The train will have AC 3 Tier, Sleeper class and second class general coaches.
The booking for train no 9027 and 9029 will be open from Monday , 30th May, 2011.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAIN

For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush of passengers, Northern Railway has decided to temporarily extend the augmented capacity of One additional AC2 Tier cum AC3 Tier coach of train no. 14119/14120 Dehra dun- Kathgodam- Dehradun Express by another one month w.e.f 1.6.11 to 30.6.11 when departing from Dehradun and from 2.6.11 to 1.7.11 when departing from Kathgodam. The earlier augmentation of 2 months is effective till 31.5.11 when departing from Dehradun and till 1.6.11 when departing from Kathgodam.

For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush during799th Urs Fair to be held at Ajmer , Railways have decided to run a trip of Special train No. 05642/05641 between Kamakhaya & Ajmer as per the programme:
05642/05641 KAMAKHAYA – AJMER - KAMAKHAYASPECIAL
The 05642 Kamakhaya – Ajmer special train will depart from Kamakhaya on 3.6.11 (Friday)  at 7.15 p.m.to reach Ajmer at 9.00 p.m. the third day (5.6.11- Sunday). While in the return direction the 05641 Ajmer - Kamakhaya special train will depart from Ajmer on 9.6.11 (Thursday) at 9.25 p.m.to arrive at Kamakhaya at 11.40 p.m the third day ( 11.6.11 – Saturday). Consisting of One AC 3 Tier, Seven Sleeper class, Six General second class and Two second cum luggage van coaches, the 05642/05641 Kamakhaya - Ajmer – Kamakhaya special train will stop at Golapara Town,New Bongaigaon,Kokrajar, Alipurduar Jn. AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS


For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush of the passengers, Railways have decided to augment the passenger carrying capacity of train nos. 13151/13152 Kolkata – Jammu Tawi Sealdah Express and 12333/12334 Howrah – Allahabad City Vibhuti Express as per the programme:
 13151/13152Kolkata – Jammu Tawi Sealdah Express will be augmented by one additional Sleeper class coach on temporary basis from 24.5.2011 to 15.6.11 when departing from Kolkata and from 26.5.2011 to 17.6.11 when departing from Jammu Tawi.
The 12333/12334 Howrah – Allahabad City Vibhuti Express will be augmented by one additional AC 2 Tier cum AC 3 Tier coach on permanent basis from 1.6.2011 when departing from Howrah and from 2.6.2011 when departing from Allahabad City.

SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN H.NIZAMUDDIN-BEAS


To clear extra rush of the passengers, Northern Railways will run Special train no. 04911/04912 between Hazrat Nizamuddin – Beas (via New Delhi).
The 04911 H. Nizamuddin – BeasSpecial train will depart from H. Nizamuddin on 26.5.11 at 7.30 p.m. and from New Delhi at 8.00 p.m. to arrive at Beas at 04.35 a.m the next day. While in the return direction the train no. 04912 Beas- H.Nizamuddin special train will depart from Beas on 29.5.2011 at 7.50 p.m to arrive at New Delhi at 03.40 a.m. and at H. Nizamuddin at 04.30 a.m the next day. The 04911/04912 H.Nizamuddin – Beas – H. Nizamuddin special train consisting of 12 Second Class Sleeper, 6 General Second Class & 2 Brake van Disabled friendly coaches, will stop at New Delhi & Delhi Subzi Mandi stations enroute in both the directions.

NEW SENIOR CITIZEN CONCESSION RULE EFFECTIVE FROM 01.JUNE.2011.


As announced by Hon'ble MR in Budget Speech for 2011-12, it has been decided to reduce the minimum age for availing concession from 60 years to 58 years in case for women senior citizens. However, the element of concession will continue to remain at 50%.
It has also been decided to increase the element of concession in case of men senior citizens from 30% to 40%. The minimum age will, however, continue to be 60 years in case of men.
There will be no change in other terms and conditions.
This concession will be admissible on tickets purchased on and after 01.06.2011. In case of tickets already issued for travel on & after 01.06.2011, refund of difference of fares will not be admissible.

AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS


For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush of passengers, Northern Railway has decided to augment the passenger carrying capacity of the following trains as per the programme:
The 12963/12964 Udaipur – H.Nizamuddin – Udaipur Mewar Express train will be augmented by one additional AC 3-tier coach on permanent basis from 1.6.2011 when departing from Udaipur and from 2.6.2011 when departing from H.Nizamuddin.
The 24887/24888 Barmer – Haridwar – Barmer Link Express train has been augmented by one additional Sleeper class coach on permanent basis with immediate effect.
The 12171/12172 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus – Haridwar – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus A.C. Express train has been augmented by one additional AC-3 tier coach on permanent basis with immediate effect .
The 12015/12016 New Delhi – Ajmer – New Delhi Shatabdi Express train has been augmented by one additional AC-Chair Car coach on temporary basis with immediate effect upto 30.6.11.
The 12823/12824Durg – H.Nizamuddin – Durg Sampark Kranti Express train has been augmented by one additional AC-3 Tier coach on temporary basis with immediate effect upto 30.6.11 when departing from Durg and upto 1.7.11 when departing from H.Nizamuddin.
The 12549/12550 Durg – Jammu Tawi – Durg Weekly Super Fast Express train has been augmented by one additional AC-3 Tier coach on temporary basis with immediate effect upto 28.6.11 when departing from Durg and upto 30.6.11 when departing from Jammu Tawi.

BHUBANESWAR RAJDHANI TO RUN WITH NEW NUMBERS


It has also been decided to change the train number of Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express w.e.f. 1st September 2011. As a result, 12421/12422 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express will run with its new number as 22811/22812 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express. Similarly, 12443/12444 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express will run with its new number as 22823/22824 Bhubaneswar-New Delhi-Bhubaneswar Rajdhani Express.

INCREASE IN FREQUENCY OF HOWRAH-YESVANTPUR DURONTO EXPRESS

It has been decided to increase the frequency of 12245/12246 Howrah-Yesvantpur-Howrah Duronto Express from four days a week to five days a week w.e.f. 18th May 2011 from Howrah and w.e.f 20th May 2011 from Yesvantpur. After increase in frequency, 12245 Howrah-Yesvantpur Duronto express will leave Howrah on every Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday and will leave Yesvantpur on every Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday & Sunday.

NEW TRAIN BETWEEN SANTRAGACHI & TIRUPATI


As announced in the last Railway Budget, Ministry of Railways has decided to introduce one new weekly Super Fast express train between Santragachi and Tirupati. In the inaugural run this train will leave on 17th May 2011 from Santragachi and on 18th May 2011 from Tirupati.
The regular run of this train will commence from 22nd May 2011 from Santragachi and w.e.f. 23rd May 2011 from Tirupati. 22855 Santragachi-Tirupati Weekly Super Fast Express will leave Santragachi on every Sunday at 16.05hrs and will arrive at Tirupati at 18.00hrs on the next day. In the return direction, 22856 Tirupati-Santragachi Weekly Super Fast Express will leave Tirupati on every Monday at 19.55hrs and will arrive Santragachi at 22.10hrs on the following day.
This train has One AC-2tier, One AC-3tier, Seven Sleeper Class, Three General Second Class and Two Guard cum Luggage Van Coaches in its composition having stoppages at Kharagpur, Jaleswar, Balasore, Cuttack, Bhubaneswar, Khurda Road, Brahmapur, Vizianagaram, Duvada, Rajahmundry, Elluru, Vijaywada, Guddur and Renigunta between Santragachi and Tirupati.

COMMISSIONING OF SIXTH PLATFORM AT ERNAKULAM JUNCTION


In connection with commissioning of Platform No.6 at Ernakulam Junction urgent engineering work will be undertaken from 19th May, 2011. Consequent on the execution of the above work non-interlocking work will be in force and some trains will be fully cancelled and some of them will be diverted. PURI-KENDUJHARGARH-NAYAGARH EXPRESS EXTENDED TO BANSPANI


Ministry of Railways have decided to extend 18416/18415 Puri-Nayagarh-Puri Express upto Banspani w.e.f. 15th May 2011.
18416 Puri-Banspani Express will leave Puri at 06.00hrs daily and willarrive at Banspani at 14.00hrs. In the return directions, 18415 Banspani-Puri Express will leave Banspani at 14.20hrs and will arrive at Puri at 22.45hrs.
This train has One AC Chair Car, Seven Second Class Chair Car andTwo Guard cum luggage Vans in its composition having stoppages at Sakhigopal, Khurda Road, Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Jakhapura Junction,Sukinda Road, Baghuapal, Tomka, Tangiriapal, Sagadpata, Chilikidara,Harichandanpur, Nilakantheswar, Sitabinj, Basantpur, Naranpur,Kendujhargarh, Goaldih, Parjanpur, Nayagarh and Jaroli between Puri &Banspani.
On extension to Banspani, this train will run with the revised timings at different stations. Passengers can know the exact timings of the train from respective stations.

ADDITIONAL SUMMER SPECIAL TRAIN FROM CHENNAI CENTRAL TO TIRUNELVELI via. CHENNAI EGMORE




Southern Railway will run the following additional Summer Special Train to clear the extra rush of passengers.

Chennai Central – Tirunelveli Special: T. No. 06103 Chennai Central – TirunelveliSpecial will leave Chennai Central at 14.00 hrs. on 14.05.2011 (Saturday)and arrive Tirunelveli at 04.00 hrs. the next day.The composition of the train will be 1 AC 3-tier, 7 Sleeper Class, 11General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The train will stop at Chennai Egmore, Tambaram, Chengalpattu, Villupuram, Vriddhachalam, Ariyalur, Srirangam, Tiruchchirappalli, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudunagar, Satur, Kovilpatti and Vanchi Maniyachchi.

Advance reservations for the above train will commence on 14.5.2011.

UNRESERVED WEEKLY SUMMER SPECIAL TRAIN BETWEEN CHHAPRA AND NEW DELHI


To clear extra rush of the passengers during summer, Railways will run Unreserved Weekly Summer Special train no. 05101/05102 between Chhapra- New Delhi as per the following programme-
 The 05101 Chhapra- New Delhi Unreserved Weekly Summer Specia ltrain will depart from Chhapra on every Sunday i.e. on 15.5.11, 22.5.11, 29.5.11, 5.6.11, 12.6.11, 19.6.11 & 26.6.11 (7 trips) at 4.00p.m. to reach New Delhi at 12.10 p.m. the next day, while in the return direction the train no. 05102 New Delhi- Chhapra Unreserved Weekly Summer special train will depart from New Delhi on every Monday i.e. on 16.5.11, 23.5.11, 30.5.11, 6.6.11, 13.6.11, 20.6.11 & 27.6.11 (7 trips) at 3.10 p.m to arrive at Chhapra at 10.55 a.m. the next day.
 The 05101/05102 Chhapra- New Delhi- Chhapra Unreserved Weekly Summer special train consisting of 16 General Class& 2 disabled friendly Second class sleeper cum Brake van coaches, will stop at Ballia, Mau, Azamgarh, Shahganj, Lucknow, Moradabad and Ghaziabad stations enroute in both the directions.

Due to operational reasons the train number of the following trains will be revised as per details given below:-
The 12551 Varanasi-Anand Vihar Garib Rath AC Express train will be renumbered as 22407 with effect from 14.8.2011. While 12552 Anand Vihar-Varanasi Garib Rath AC Express train will be renumbered at 22408 with effect from 15.8.2011.
 The 12353 Bhagalpur-Anand Vihar Garib Rath Express train will be renumbered as 22405 with effect from 16.8.2011. While 12354 Anand Vihar- Bhagalpur Garib Rath Express train will be renumbered at 22406 with effect from 15.8.2011.
 The 14059 Delhi Jn. - Jaisalmer Express train will be renumbered as 14659, while the 14060 Jaisalmer- Delhi Jn. Express train will be renumbered at 14660 with effect from 15.8.2011.

The 09602/09601 Ajmer – Beas – Ajmer special train will stop at Kishangarh, Phulera, Jaipur, Gandhi Nagar Jaipur, Bandikui, Alwar, Rewari, Satrod and Ludhiana stations enroute in both the directions.
 04917/04918 SAHARANPUR – BEAS SPECIAL
 The 04917 Saharanpur – Beas special train will depart on13.5.11 from Saharanpur at 8.50 p.m.to reach Beas at 2.00 a.m. the next day. While in the return direction the 04918 Beas - Saharanpur special train will depart on 15.5.11 from Beas at 11.10 p.m.to arrive at Saharanpur at 5.30 a.m the next day.
 The 04917/04918 Saharanpur – Beas – Saharanpur special train will stop at Jagadhari and Ludhiana stations enroute in both the directions.
 04915/04916 SAHARANPUR – BEAS SPECIAL
 The 04915 Saharanpur – Beas special train will depart on 27.5.11 from Saharanpur at 8.50 p.m.to reach Beas at 2.00 a.m. the next day. While in the return direction the 04916 Beas - Saharanpur special train will depart on 29.5.11 from Beas at 11.10 p.m.to arrive at Saharanpur at 5.30 a.m the next day.

In order to clear extra rush of Passengers, ten special trains between Villupuram and Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) will be run as per the following schedule:-
Train No.06842 Villupuram-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) Special train will depart Villupuram at 07.15 hrs on Sundays ie., 8, 15, 22, 29 May and 5 June, 2011 and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) at 14.55 hrs on the next day ie., Mondays. In the return direction, Train No.06841 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai)-Villupuram Special train will depart Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) at 22.55 hrs on Mondays ie., 9, 16, 23, 30 May and 6 June, 2011 and arrive Villupuram at 09.00 hrs Wednesdays.
Enroute, these special trains will stop at Chengalpattu, Tambaram, Mambalam, Chennai Egmore, Perambur, Arakkonam, Tirutani, Puttur, Renigunta, Koduru, Rajampeta, Nandalur, Kadapa, Kamalapuram, Yerraguntla, Muddanuru, Kondapuram, Tadipatri, Gooty, Guntakal, Adoni, Mantralayam Road, Raichur, Yadgir, Gulbarga, Solapur, Daund, Pune, Lonavla and Kalyan. These special trains will have 17 coaches Viz., one AC III Tier, one First Class, eight Sleeper Class, five General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Brake Van Coaches.

WR TO RUN ADDITIONAL SUMMER HOLIDAY SPECIALS To AHMEDABAD, VIRAMGAM AND INDORE- PATNA


To facilitate the passengers during summer holidays, Western Railway will run extra Summer special trains to various destinations. The details of the these extra trains being run are –
Special Train between Mumbai Central-Viramgam
Train No. 09005 Mumbai Central- Viramgamwill leave Mumbai Central on 16th May , 2011 at 15.10hrs to reach Viramgamat 03.30hrs the next day. Similarly, Train No. 09006 Viramgam -Mumbai Central will leave Viramgamon 17th May, 2011 at 15.50 hrs to arrive Bandra Tr.at 05.10hrs the next day.The train will haveAC III tier, Sleeper Classand 2nd class general coaches. Enroute, this train will halt at Borivali, Valsad, Surat and Vadodara and Ahmedabad in both directions.In return direction train will terminate at Bandra Terminus.

Train No.09027 Bandra (T) – Ahmedabad special train will leave Bandra (T) on 18th May, 2011at 07.55hrs to reach Ahmedabadat 15.45 hrs, on same day The train will have, AC III tier, sleeper classand 2nd class general coaches. It will halt at Borivali, Vapi,Surat, Bharuch, Vadodaraand Anandstations in both directions.
Bi- Weekly spl train between Indore –Patna Jn.
Train No. 09305Indore – PatnaBi- Weekly Special will leave Indoreat 13.55 hrs on every Monday and Thursday to reach Patna at 15.00 hrs the next day from 12th Mayto 6th June, 2011. Similarly, in return direction, Train No. 09306 Patna - Indore spl will leave Patnaat 23.10 hrs on every Tuesday and Friday and arrive Indore at 23.55 hrs, the next day from 13th May to 7th June, 2011. The train willhave of AC 3 tier, sleeper class & II class general coaches. The train enroute will stop atDewas,Ujjain, Shujalpur, Bhopal, Bina, Sagar, Damoh, Katni, Satna, Manikpur, Cheoki, Mughalsarai, Buxar,and Ara stations in both directions.

WR to run spl Train to Indore


To facilitate passengers and to clear extra rush, Western Railway will run a Special Train between Bandra Terminus and Indore on Wednesday, 11th May ,2011.
Train No. 09029 Special Train will leave Bandra Terminus on 07.55 hrs on 11th May, 2011 and reach Indore at 23.10 hrs the same day. This train will halt at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Godhra, Dahod, Ratlam , Nagda , Ujjain and Dewas. It will have3-tier AC, Sleeper class and 2nd class general coaches.

SUMMER SPECIAL TRAINS


Southern Railway will run the following additional Summer Special Trains to clear the extra rush of passengers.
Mumbai CST – Mangalore Junction – Mumbai CST Tri- Weekly Specials: T. No. 01095 Mumbai CST – Mangalore Jn. Special will leave Mumbai CST at 22.15 hrs. on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 05.05.2011 to 07.06.2011and arrive Mangalore Junction at 12.25 hrs. the next day. In return direction T. No. 01096 Mangalore Jn. – Mumbai CST Special will leave Mangalore Jn. at 14.00 hrs. on Wednesdays Fridays and Sundays from 06.05.2011 to 08.06.2011 and arrive Mumbai CST at 04.30 hrs. the next day.The composition of the trains will be 1 AC 2-tier,4 AC 3-tier, 11 Sleeper Class, 2 General Second Class and 2 Luggage-cum-brake van coaches. The trains will stop at Thane, Panvel,Ratnagiri, Kankavli, Madgaon, Karwar, Kumta, Mookambika Road Byndoor, Udupi and Surathkal.

SUMMER SPECIAL BETWEEN AGRA FORT & HARIDWAR


For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush during summer season, Railways have decided to run one Weekly Summer Special train no. 01151/01152 Agra Fort – Haridwar as per the programme:
The 01151 Agra Fort – Haridwar Weekly Summer special train will depart on every Thursday from Agra Fort at 9.00 a.m. i.e on12/5, 19/5, 26/5, 2/6, 9/6, 16/6, & 23.6.11(7 Trips) to reach Haridwar at 7.55 p.m. the sameday. While in the return direction the 01152 Haridwar - Agra Fort Weekly Summer special train will depart on every Thursday from Haridwar at 9.55 p.m. i.e on12/5, 19/5, 26/5, 2/6, 9/6, 16/6 & 23.6.2011(7Trips) to arrive at Agra Fort at 8.40 a.m the next day. Comprising of One A.C. 2 Tier, One A.C. 3 Tier, Eight Sleeper Class, Six Second class and Two brake vans coaches, the 01151/01152 Agra Fort – Haridwar – Agra Fort Weekly Summer special train will stop at Aligarh, Chandausi and Moradabad stations enroute in both the directions.

TEMPORARY STOPPAGE


For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush,Northern Railway has decided to provide two minutes stoppage at AMROHA to train no. 15035/15036 Delhi – Kathgodam –Delhi Uttranchal Sampark Kranti Express from 10.5.11 for Six months on experimental basis.
The 15035Delhi – KathgodamUttranchal Sampark Kranti Express will arrive at Amroha at 6.05 p.m and will depart at 6.07 p.m. While in its return direction the 15036 Kathgodam – Delhi Uttranchal Sampark Kranti Express will arrive at Amroha at 12.50 p.m and after stoppage of 2 minute it will depart at 12.52 p.m,for its onward journey to its destination at the scheduled time in both the directions.

TEMPORARY AUGMENTATION OF TRAINS


For the convenience of rail passengers and to clear extra rush of passengers, Northern Railway has decided to temporarily augment the passenger carrying capacity of the following trains as per the programme:
The 14724/14723 Bhiwani – Kanpur Central - Bhiwani Kalindi Express train will be augmented by one additional AC 3 Tier coach from 4.5.2011 to 31.7.11 when departing from Bhiwani and from 5.5.11 to 1.8.11 when departing from Kanpur Central.
The 09721/09722 Jaipur – Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Jaipur Super Fast Special & 09741/09742 Rewari - Delhi Sarai Rohilla- Rewari Special trains will be augmented by one additional Chair Car coach each with effect from 4.5.11 to 30.6.11

Now Buy long distance train tickets from any station in WR sub urban stations.


Western Railway has extended the facility of issuing of non suburban i.e. current tickets for long distance trains at all suburban stations between Churchgate and Dahanu Road with immediate effect. For journey more than 200 kms, passengers can also buy current ticket three days in advance. Keeping in mind the convenience of passengers and demands from several quarters, necessary modifications have been made in the ticket issuing system and now current tickets from any station to any station for long distance trains can be purchased from all suburban stations. This will help in reducing the queue at major stations such as Mumbai Central, Dadar, Bandra Terminus, Borivali etc. and will also give the convenience of purchasing long distance current tickets in advance at the nearest station.
 The advance tickets purchased can be cancelled prior to the day of journey at the ticket issuing station or journey originating station while on the day of journey, tickets can be cancelled only at journey originating station.

Dadar-Bikaner given stoppage at Palanpur


Ministry of Railways have decided to provide stoppage to 12489/12490 Dadar - Bikaner Express at Palanpur Station from 4th May, 2011.
 Accordingly, 12489 Bikaner - Dadar Express will reach Palanpur at 01.30 hrs and depart at 01.55 hrs. Similarly, 12490 Dadar - Bikaner Express will reach Palanpur at 01.40 hrs and depart at 02.05 hrs. This halt has been granted on experimental basis for six months.

Due to Air India pilots’ strike Northern Railway will run one Rajdhani Type “Superfast” special train between New Delhi – Mumbai Central - New Delhi as per the following programme:
The 04092 New Delhi – Mumbai Central Super fast special train will depart from New Delhi at 11.35 p.m. on 5.5.11 to reach Mumbai Central at 8.55 p.m. the next day.In return direction the 04091 Mumbai Central – New Delhi Super fast special train will depart from Mumbai Central at 7.45 p.m. on 7.5.11 to reach New Delhi at 5.10 p.m. the next day. Consisting of One AC First, Four 2nd AC, SixAC 3 Tier,One Pantry Car and Two AC3 Tiercum brake van coaches, the 04092/04091 will stop at Mathura Jn., Kota, Ratlam, Vadodra, Surat & Borivalli stations enroute in both directions.

SPECIAL TRAIN TRIP BETWEEN GUWAHATI-NEW DELHI


In order to clear extra rush of passengers, Railways will run a special train between Guwahati-New Delhi – Guwahati as per the following programme:
 The 05635 Guwahati -New Delhi Special train will depart from Guwahati on 02.05.2011 at 06.00 a.m. to reach New Delhi at 2.40 p.m. the next day. While in the return direction the 05636 New Delhi- Guwahati Special train will depart from New Delhi on 4.5.2011 at 9.30 a.m. to reach Guwahati at 7.00 p.m. the next day. Consisting of Two AC 3 Tier, Thirteen sleeper class, Five second class, Two second cum luggage van coaches,the 05635/05636 Guwahati -New Delhi- Guwahati Special train will stop at New Bongaigaon, New Coochbehar, New Jalpaiguri, Kishanganj, Katihar, Barauni, Chhapra, Balia, Varanasi, Lucknow, Bareilly and Moradabad stations enroute in both directions.

ECoR TO AUGMENT ADDITIONAL COACHES IN VISAKHA EXPRESS AND VISAKHAPATNAM GARIB RATH.


In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Summer season, East Coast Railway has decided to augment additional coaches in 2 trains leaving from its jurisdiction towards Secunderabad from 1st May 2011.
17015/17016 Bhubaneswar-Secunderabad-Bhubaneswar Visakha express trains have augmented with one additional Slepeer Class coach each. Similarly, 12740/12739 Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam Garib Rath Express Trains have augmented with one additional A.C. 3 tier coach each.The coaches agumented w.e.f 1st May to 15th May 2011.
