special trains between Vasco-da-Gama-Nagapattinam extended

South Western Railway will continue to run weekly express special trains between Vasco-da-Gama-Nagapattinam to clear extra rush during Christmas and winter seasons.

Accordingly, Vasco-da-Gama-Nagapattinam weekly express special (train No. 0675) will depart Vasco-Da-Gama station at 19:10 hrs on Mondays (from December 6 to January 17), and arrive at Nagapattinam at 19:15 hrs, on Tuesdays.

En route, the train will touch Madgaon (at 19:45 hrs), Canacona (20:30 hrs), Karwar (20:54 hrs), Kumta (21:45 hrs), Bhatkal (22:36 hrs), Kundapura (22:20 hrs), Udupi (00:42 hrs), Suratkal (01:30 hrs), Thokkur (01:55 hrs), Mangalore Jn (02:15 hrs), Kasargod (03:13 hrs), Payyannur (03:50 hrs), Kannur (04:45 hrs), Thalassery (05:08 hrs), Vadakara (05:28 hrs), Kozhikkode (06:15 hrs), Tirur (07:03 hrs), Shoranur (08:10 hrs), Palakkad (09:15 hrs), Podannur (10:25 hrs), Coimbatore (10:35 hrs), Tirupur (11:18 hrs), Erode (12:20 hrs), Karur (13:40 hrs), Tiruchchirappalli (15:05 hrs), Tanjavur (16:30 hrs), and Tiruvarur (17:35 hrs).

In the return direction, Nagapattinam-Vasco-da-Gama train (No. 0676) will depart Nagapattinam at 22:30 hrs on Tuesdays (from December 7 to January 18), and arrive at Vasco-da-Gama station at 22:00 hrs, on Wednesday.

En route, the train will touch Tiruvarur (23:05 hrs), Tanjavur (00:20 hrs), Tiruchchirappalli (01:10 hrs), Karur (02:55 hrs), Erode (04:30 hrs), Tirupur (05:28 hrs), Coimbatore (06:45 hrs), Podannur (07:05 hrs), Palakkad (07:55 hrs), Shoranur (08:45 hrs), Tirur (09:33 hrs), Kozikkode (10:35 hrs), Vadakara (11:18 hrs), Thalassery (11:38 hrs), Kennur (12:20 hrs), Payyannur (12:58 hrs), Kasargod (13:58 hrs), Mangalore Jn (15:00 hrs), Surathkal (15:48 hrs), Udupi (16:28 hrs), Kundapura (16:54 hrs), Bhatkal (17:40 hrs), Kumta (18:58 hrs), Karwar (19:55 hrs), Canacona (20:25 hrs), and Madgoan (21:30 hrs).

WR TO EXTEND TRIPS OF RAJDHANI TYPE AC SUPERFAST BI-WEEKLY WINTER SPECIAL FOR DELHI

For the convenience of the passengers during winter holidays, Western Railway will extend the trips of  Rajdhani Type AC Superfast Bi-weekly Winter Special train between Mumbai Central and New Delhi.

Train No. 0901 Mumbai Central New Delhi Bi-Weekly Winter  Special will leave from Mumbai Central  every Monday & Friday at 19.45 hrs to reach New Delhi at 17.10 hrs next day. This service will be further available from 3rd December 2010 to 13th December 2010. In return direction, Train No. 0902  New Delhi  Mumbai Central  Bi-Weekly Winter  Special  will leave New Delhi every Tuesday & Saturday at 23.35 hrs to arrive Mumbai Central at 20.55 hrs next day. This service will be further available from 4th December, 2010 to 14th December, 2010.Enroute the train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota and Mathura Jn. in both directions.The train will have First AC, AC 2 Tier and AC 3 Tier coaches.

Bookings for extended trip of Train No. 0901 will open on 29th November, 2010.

Departure Timings of Four Passenger Trains Rescheduled Temporarily

In view of engineering works between Timmapur and Shadnagar Railway stations on Kacheguda - Mahaboobnagar Section, the departure timings of the following four trains are rescheduled up to 30th November, 2010 as follows :
1.      Train No. 573 Secunderabad - Bodhan Passenger is rescheduled to leave Secunderabad at 17.30 hrs instead of 17.00 hrs.
2.      Train No. 526 Guntakal - Secunderabad Passenger is rescheduled to leave Guntakal at 07.00 hrs instead of 05.00 hrs.
3.      Train No. 547 Secunderabad - Mahaboobnagar Passenger is rescheduled to leave Secunderabad at 13.50 hrs instead of 12.50 hrs.
4.      Train No. 548 Mahaboobnagar - Secunderabad Passenger is rescheduled to leave Mahaboobnagar at 17.00 hrs instead of 16.10 hrs.

Special Train between Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) -Yesvantpur Extended

Central Railway has extended the run of Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai)-Yesvantpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) weekly  Special train till 1st February 2011  for 22 more services in order to clear extra rush of passengers.

Accordingly, Train No. 0115 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus -Yesvantpur weekly special train will depart Lokmanya Tilak Terminus on 21st, 28th November, 5th, 12th, 19th, 26th December 2010 and 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th January, 2011 (Sundays) at 23 15 hrs and arrive Yesvantpur at 04 30 hrs on Tuesdays.  In the return direction, Train No. 0116 Yesvantpur-Lokmanya Tilak Terminus weekly special train will depart Yesvantpur on 23rd, 30th November,  7th, 14th, 21st, 28th December 2010, and 4th, 11th, 18th, 25th January and 1st February, 2011 (Tuesdays) at 13 00 hrs and arrive Lokmanya Tilak Terminus at 16 15 hrs on Wednesdays.

Enroute, these special trains will stop at Kalyan, Lonavala, Pune, Daund, Sholapur, Hotgi, Bijapur, Bagalkot, Badami, Gadag, Koppal, Hospet, Tornagallu, Bellary, Guntakal, Anantapur, Dharmavaram, Hindupur and Yelahanka in both the directions. These special trains will have one AC First Class, one First cum AC II Tier, two AC II Tier, five AC III Tier, ten Sleeper Class, two General Second Class and two Second Class Luggage cum Brake Van Coaches totaling to 23 Coaches.

AUGMENTATION OF EMU TRAINS BETWEEN NEW DELHI-ALIGARH ON EXPERIMENTAL BASIS

To cater the traffic requirements and daily commuters demand, Northern Railway has decided to augment the passenger carrying capacity of NA-2 New Delhi-Aligarh/SNA-2 Shakurbasti-New Delhi Aligarh & AND-1Aligarh-New Delhi/AD-3 Aligarh-Delhi Jn. EMU trains  by attaching 3 additional cars to make 15 car rakes from 27.11.2010 for one week on experimental basis.

With the augmentation of above4 EMU trains the following changes will also take place from 27.11.2010.:

1.   SNA-2 Shakurbasti-Aligarh will be cancelled between Shakurbasti-New Delhi. NA-4 New Delhi-Aligarh EMU will leave New Delhi at 05.55 p.m. and run on the path of SNA-2 Shakurbasti-New Delhi-Aligarh.

2.     AND-1Aligarh-New Delhi will be terminated at New Delhi with arrival of 09.28 a.m. and leave  as GN-6 at 09.40 a.m.

3.     SNS-1 will now terminate at Delhi instead of Shakurbasti with New No. SND-1 and run as per schedule  New Delhi at 09.30/09.40 a.m. Delhi Sadar Bazar at 09.48/09.48 a.m. Delhi Jn. at 09.58 a.m. and onward as GD-8 at 10.00 a.m.

4.     BN-1 Ballabhgarh-New Delhi EMU  will be extended to Shakurbasi with New no. SNB-1 with timings-New Delhi 09.15/09.40 a.m. Delhi Kishanganj at 10/01/10.01 a.m. Vivekanand puri Halt at 10.05/10.05 a.m. Daya Basti at 10.08 a.m. Shakurbasti arrival at 10.15.

5.      NS-2  will run with timing ex Shakurbasti  at 5.20 p.m., Daya Basti at 5.27 p.m., Vivekanand puri Halt at 5.30 p.m., Delhi Kishanganj at 5.34 p.m. Daya Basti at 5.42 p.m., New Delhi arrival at 5.53 p.m. onward as NP-8 at 06.00 p.m.

EXTENTION OF WINTER SPECIAL TRAINS

For the convenience of passengers, Northern Railway has decided to extend the run of following trains as per the following programme;

The train no. 2002 B / 2001 B  New Delhi  - Jhansi  - New Delhi winter special trains will now run upto 19.12.2010 on every Sunday from both the directions.

The train no. 0240 Ajmer Haridwar winter special train will now run upto 18.12.2010 on every Monday, Thursday and Saturday.

While its return service 0239 Haridwar Ajmer winter special train will now run upto 19.12.2010 on every Tuesday, Friday and Sunday.

0408 H.NIZAMUDDIN JABALPUR UNRESERVED EXPRESS SPECIAL TRAIN

In order  to clear extra rush of passengers, Northern  Railway will run one trip  of  0408 Unreserved express special train  between  H.Nizamuddin - Jabalpur as per the programme :

The  0408 H.Nizamuddin - Jabalpur Unreserved express special train will depart from Nizamuddin on 28.11.2010  (1 trip) at 11.50 p.m. to arrive at Jabalpur at 4.00 p.m. the next day. The  0408 H.Nizamuddin - Jabalpur Unreserved express special train consisting of Thirteen General  class and Two  Second cum-luggage-cum brake van coaches , will stop at  Mathura Jn., Agra Cantt., Gwalior, Jhansi,  Sagar, Damoh  and Katni stations enroute.

Pune-Ernakulam superfast train start from Sunday

The Ernakulam-Pune-Ernakulam (2519/2520) bi-weekly superfast express which will cover the distance in 24 hours and 15 minutes is expected to reduce travel time by at least five hours and 35 minutes.The train's maiden run will be flagged off from Ernakulam on Saturday, while the train from Pune to Ernakulam will run on Sunday.

The Pune-Ernakulam (2520) train will run every Wednesday and Sunday at 6.45 pm, and will reach the destination on Thursday and Monday at 7 pm respectively. The Ernakulam-Pune (2519) train will run every Friday and Tuesday at 5.15 am and will reach Pune station on Saturday and Wednesday at 5.50 am respectively.The train will have 17 coaches, including one two-tier AC and three-tier AC, seven sleeper, six unreserved and two SLR coaches.

Extension of Patna-Bangalore, Jayanagar- Ranchi spl train

The East Central Railway ( ECR ) has decided to extend the run of the Patna-Bangalore City Super Fast special train up to December 10. The railways will run the special train on November 30 and December 7 from Patna Junction while it will leave Bangalore City on December 3 and 10 on its return journey for Patna.

According to ECR CPRO Dilip Kumar, the special train will leave Patna Junction at 7.55 pm on November 30 and December 7 while it will leave Bangalore City at 9.30 am on Decemmbr 3 and 10. The special super fast train will have stoppage at all major stations including Mughalsarai, Satna, Katni , Nagpur and Chennai, he said.

The CPRO said the railways would run the special train with full load combination of AC, sleeper and general bogies to clear rush of passengers who are stranded still in Patna . Besides, keeping in view the fact that a large number of students studying in Bangalore City have been travelling from Patna to Bangalore regularly, extension of the run of the special train would facilitate them a lot , he said adding railways has started booking of tickets for this super fast special train.

Besides, railways would extend the run of Jayanagar- Ranchi special train up to December 6 next month . While it will run from Jayanagar on November 24 , 28 and December 1 and 5 at 8 pm , it will run from Ranchi on its return journey on November 25 , 29 and December 2 and 6 at 8.30 pm , the CPRO said adding this special train will clear rush of passengers between Jayanagar and Ranchi.

Train Departure Rescheduled

The South Central Railways (SCR) on Monday announced the temporary rescheduling of the departure timings of 4 passenger trains in view of ongoing engineering work between Timmapur and Shadnagar railway stations on Kacheguda – Mahabubnagar section.

The 4 trains, train no. 573 Secunderabad – Bodhan Passenger will now leave Secunderabad at 5.30 pm instead of 5 pm, train no. 526 Guntakal - Secunderabad Passenger will now leave Guntakal at 7 am instead of 5 am, train no. 547 Secunderabad – Mahabubnagar passenger will leave Secunderabad at 1.50 pm instead of 12.50 pm, and train no. 548 Mahabubnagar - Secunderabad passenger is rescheduled to leave Mahabubnagar at 5 pm instead of 4.10 pm.

These departure timings will be in effect till November 30th, 2010

NORTHERN RAILWAY TO RUN ONE TRIP EACH OF TWO SPECIAL TRAINS BETWEEN AMRITSAR-GORAKHPUR

 In order  to clear extra rush of passengers, Northern  Railway will run one trip each of two special train nos.0464 & 0470 between  Amritsar-Gorakhpur as per the programme :

0464 AMRITSAR-GORAKHPUR RESERVED EXPRESS SPECIAL TRAIN 

The 0464 Amritsar-Gorakhpur  reserved express special train will depart from Amritsar on 25.11.2010  (1 trip) at 10.00 a.m. to arrive at Gorakhpur at 7.45 a.m. the next day. The  0464 Amritsar-Gorakhpur  reserved express special train consisting of Ten sleeper class and Five second cum-luggage-cum brake van coaches , will stop at Beas, Jalandhar City, Ludhiana, Sirhind, Rajpura, Ambala Cantt., Jagadhari, Saharanpur, Moradabad, Bareilly, Shahjahanpur,  Sitapur Cantt.,  Burhwal, Gonda, Mankapur, Basti and Khalilabad stations enroute.

0470 AMRITSAR-GORAKHPUR RESERVED EXPRESS SPECIAL TRAIN 

The 0470  Amritsar-Gorakhpur  reserved express special train will depart from Amritsar on 27.11.2010  (1 trip) at 10.00 a.m. to arrive at Gorakhpur at 7.45 a.m. the next day. AUGMENTATION OF SEEMANCHAL EXPRESS TRAIN FOR WINTER SEASON

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during Winter season, Railways has decided to  augment  the passenger carrying capacity of 2488/2487 Anand ViharT Jogbani-anand Vihar T Seemanchal  Express  train by one additional Sleeper class coach  with immediate effect upto  17.01.2011 when departing from Anand Vihar T  & upto 18.01.2011 when departing from Jogbani .  The revised composition of 2488/2487 during the above period will be One 2nd cum 3 tier AC, One AC 3 tier, Six sleeper class, Seven General class One 2nd cum luggage & brake van coach and One 2nd cum luggage & brake van disabled friendly coaches.

The 0403 A Anand Vihar-Jammu Tawi (tri-weekly ) special has been further extended to run from 23.11.10 to 18.12.10 ( 12 trips) departing from Anand Vihar on Tuesday, Thursday & Saturday at 10.30 p.m. to arrive at Jammu Tawi at 11.50 a.m. the next day.  While in the return direction the 0404A  Jammu Tawi-Anand Vihar Special has been further extended to run from 24.11.10 to 19.12.10 ( 12 trips) departing from Jammu Tawi on Wednesday, Friday & Sunday at 5.30 p.m. to arrive at Anand Vihar Terminal at 5.35 a.m. the next day.  The 0403A/0404A  Anand Vihar Jammu Tawi- Anand Vihar Special ( Triweekly) will stop at Ghaziabad, Merrut City, Saharanpur, Ambala Cantt., Ludhiana, Jallandhar Cantt. & Chakki Bank stations enroute in both the directions.

The 0465 Delhi-Panipat daily special has been further extended to run from 21.11.10 to 19.12.10 ( 29 trips) departing from Delhi Jn. at 6.15 a.m. to arrive at Panipat at 8.25 a.m. the same day.  While in the return direction 0466 Panipat-Delhi Special has been further extended to run from 21.11.10 to19.12.10 ( 29 trips ) departing from Panipat at 6.30 p.m. to reach Delhi Jn. at 9.00 p.m. the same day.   The 0465/0466 Delhi Panipat Delhi special will stop at Subzi Mandi & Sonipat stations enroute in both the directions.

2205A/2206A New Delhi Dehradun New Delhi ( weekly )

The 2205A New Delhi-Dehradun Weekly special has been further extended to run from 27.11.10 to 18.12.10 ( 4 trips) departing from New Delhi on every Saturday at 11.55 p.m. to reach Dehradun at 5.40 a.m. the next day.  While in the return direction the 2206 A Dehradun-New Delhi Special has been further extended to run from 28.11.10 to 19.12.10 ( 4 trips) departing from Dehradun on every Sunday at 11.25 p.m. to reach New Delhi at  5.05 a.m. the next day. 2205A/2206A New Delhi Dehradun New Delhi will stop at Ghaziabad, Merrut City, Muzaffarnagar, Roorkee & Haridwar Jn. stations enroute in both the directions.

0429/0430 Lucknow New Delhi Lucknow ( daily )

The 0429 Lucknow-New Delhi Daily Special has been further extended to run from 21.11.10 to 18.12.10 ( 28 trips) departing from Lucknow at 10.50 p.m. to reach New Delhi at 8.00 a.m. the next day.  While in the return direction the 0430 New Delhi-Lucknow special has been further extended to run from 23.11.10 to 20.12.10 ( 28 trips) departing from New Delhi at 00.20 a.m. ( midnight) to reach Lucknow  at 9.15 a.m. the same day.  The 0429/0430 special will stop at Moradabad & Ghaziabad stations enroute in both the directions.

0457/0458 Varanasi Delhi Jn. Varanasi (daily)

The 0457 Varanasi-Delhi special has been further extended to run from 21.11.10 to 18.12.10 ( 28 trips) departing from Varanasi at 8.00p.m to arrive at Delhi at 10.10 a.m.  the next day.  While in the return direction 0458 Delhi-Varanasi has been further extended to run from 22.11.10 to 19.12.10 (28 trips) departing from Delhi at 7.25 p.m. to arrive at Varanasi at  10.45 a.m the next day. The 0457/0458 Special will stop at Ghaziabad, Moradabad, Lucknow and Sultanpur  stations enroute in both the directions.

0403/0404 Delhi Jn.-Udhampur-Delhi Jn.(Tri-Weekly)

         The 0403 Delhi Sarai Rohilla Udhampur Special has been further extended to run from 22.11.10 to 18.12.10 (12trips) departing from Delhi Sarai Rohilla on every Monday, Wednesday & Saturday at 10.15 p.m. to reach Udhampur at 8.30 a.m. the next day.  While in the return direction the 0404 Udhampur Delhi Sarai Rohilla special has been further extended to run from 23.11.10 too 19.12.10 (12trips) departing from Udhampur on every Tuesday, Thursday &Sunday at 5.40 p.m. to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at  4.00 a.m. the next day.  The 0403/0404 special will stop at Ambala Cantt., Ludhiana, Chakki Bank & Jammu Tawi stations enroute in both the directions.

0467/0468 Delhi-Ratangarh-Delhi daily special

The 0467 Delhi-Ratangarh Special has been further extended to run from 1.12.10 to 19.12.10 ( 19 trips) departing from Delhi at 4.50 p.m. to reach Ratangarh at 11.00 a.m. the same day.  While in the return direction the 0468 Ratangarh-Delhi Special has been extended to run from 1.12.10 to 19.12.10 ( 19 trips) departing from Ratangarh at 3.15 p.m. to reach Delhi at 10.00 p.m. the same day.  The 0467/0468 special will stop at Delhi Sarai Rohilla, Gurgaon, Rewari, Mohendergarh, Loharu, Sadulpur & Churu station enroute in both the directions.

2015A/2016A New Delhi-Ajmer- New Delhi Shatadbi Special (Weekly)

            The  2015A New Delhi-Ajmer Shatabdi  Special has been further extended to run from 1.12.10 to 15.12.10 ( 3 trips) departing from New Delhi at 6.05 a.m. to reach Ajmer at 12.45 p.m. the same day.  While in the  return direction 2016A Ajmer-New Delhi Special has been further extended to run from 1.12.2010 to 15.12.10 ( 3 trips) departing from Ajmer at 3.50 p.m. to reach   New Delhi at 10.40 p.m. the same day.  The 2015A/2016A Shatabdi Special will stop at Delhi Cantt., Gurgaon, Rewari, Alwar & Jaipur stations enroute in both the directions.

ECoR RUNS SPECIAL TRAIN FROM PURI TO BRAHMAPUR FOR KARTIK PURNIMA

For the first time, East Coast Railway has decided to run one pair of special train on 21st November 2010 between Puri and Brahmapur for the convenience of pilgrims and passengers and to cater to extra rush during Kartik Purnima,  
217A Puri-Brahmapur Special passenger train will leave puri at 02.30p.m and will arrive at Brahmapur at 06.20p.m on 21st Nov”10. In the return direction, 218A Brahmapur-Puri passenger will leave Brahmapur at 07.35p.m and will arrive at Bhubaneswar at 10.30p.m on the same day. This train will have stoppages at Sakhigopal, Khurda Road, Nirakarpur, Bhusandpur, Kalupadaghat, Balugaon, Khalikote, Ganjam and Chhatrapur between Puri and Brahmapur.

WR TO RUN POONAM SPECIAL TO VIRAMGAM

For clearance of extra rush on account of Poonam, WR will run Poonam Special for Viramgam for the convenience of passengers .

Poonam Special train No.0915 Dn Express will depart from Mumbai Central on 20th November, 2010   at 15.10 hrs and reach Viramgam at 03.30 hrs, the next day. On its return journey, Poonam Special train No.0916 Up Express will leave Viramgam on 21th November,2010  at 15.50 hrs. and will arrive Bandra Terminus at 05.10 hrs, the next day.The train will have second sleeper class and second class general coaches.On its way, the train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, and Ahmedabad in both directions. In the return direction the train will run upto Bandra Terminus.

Booking will start from 20th November, 2010.

SCR specials

South Central Railway on Wednesday introduced special trains to Prashanthi Nilayam from different locations up to November 23 for Satya Sai Baba's week long birthday celebrations.
According to an SCR press release, special trains have been also introduced on November 22 and 23 from Kacheguda to Prasanthi Nilayam. Train number 0789 will leave Kachiguda at 21.55 hours on November 22 and reach Prasanthi Nilayam at 9 a.m. on November 23. On November 23, train number 0789 will leave Kachiguda at 21.55 hours and reach Prasanthi Nilayam at 9 a.m. the next day
Similarly, train number 0791 will start at 21.00 hours at Kakinada on November 21 and arrive at Prashanthi Nilayam railway station at 13.40 hours on November 22. The special train from Kakinada to Prashanthi Nilayam will also run on November 22. Train number 0792 will start at Prashanthi Nilayam at 14.30 hours on November 22 and reach Kakinada at 8.30 a.m. on November 23. For the benefit of the tourists, the train to Kakinada will also run on November 23.

TEMPORARY STOPPAGE

Due to demands from rail users, passenger associations and elected representatives of the public, Train No.4260/4259 Varanasi – Rameswaram – Varanasi (via. Chennai Egmore) weekly expresses will stop atDevakottai Road railway station for a period of six months on experimental basis as per the following timings.

a)     Train No.4260   Varanasi – Rameswaram weekly express will leave Devakottai Road at 20.28 hrs. with effect from 23.11.2010.
b)     Train No.4259  Rameswaram – Varanasi weekly express will leave Devakottai Road at 01.50 hrs. with effect from 25.11.2010.

Advance reservation for the above stoppage will commence from 18.11.2010.

Due to demands from rail users, passenger associations and elected representatives of the public, Train No.6175/6176 Chennai Egmore – Nagore – Chennai Egmore expresses will stop at Aduthurai railway station for a period of six months on experimental basis as per the following timings.

a)     Train No.6175 Chennai Egmore – Nagore express will leave Aduthurai                at 04.48 hrs. with effect from 15.11.2010.
b)     Train No.6176 Nagore - Chennai Egmore express will leave Aduthurai                 at 22.57 hrs. with effect from 15.11.2010.


STOPPAGE OF TRAINS AT MELMARUVATHUR

 In connection with the Irumudi/Thaipoosam Festival to be celebrated at Adiparasakthi Siddhar Peedam, Melmaruvathur, the following trains will be provided with stoppage at Melmaruvathur from18.11.2010 to 20.01.2011.

SPECIAL TRAIN EXTENDED

To clear extra rush, Western Railway has extended the trips of Train No. 0905/0906 Bandra Terminus  Jammu Tawi Weekly Superfast Special.

Train No.0905 Bandra Terminus Jammu Tawi Weekly Superfast Special train will depart at 16.55 hrs on 22nd & 29th November,2010 from Bandra Terminus and reach Jammu Tawi at 01.00 hrs on the third day.Similarly Train No. 0906 Jammu Tawi  Bandra Terminus Weekly Superfast Special will leave from Jammu Tawi on 24th Nov & 1st December 2010 at 09.30 hrs. arriving Bandra Terminus at 17.50 hrs. next day.The train will halt at Borivali, Surat, Vadodara, Ratlam, Kota, Sawai Madhopur, Mathura Jn., Delhi Safdarjung, Ludhiana and Chakki Bank stations in both the directions.The train will have I AC, AC II Tier, AC III Tier, sleeper class and II class General coaches.

FESTIVAL SPECIAL TRAINS

In order to clear extra rush of passengers during festivel season, Northern Railway  has decided to run superfast/express  special trains for Nanded,Darbhanga and Patna as under:-

0472 H.Nizamuddin-Nanded superfast special train

The 0472 H.Nizamuddin-Nanded superfast special train will depart from H.Nizamuddin on 18.11.2010 at 11.55 p.m. to arrive at Nanded at 04.00 a.m. the third day.The special train having second sleeper and general second class accommodation will stop at Agra, Gwalior, Jhansi,Bina, Bhopal, Itarsi, Khandwa, Bhusaval ,Manmad,Aurangabad,Jalna, Parbhani and Purna stations

WINTER SPECIAL TRAINS BY SOUTHERN RAILWAYS

Southern Railway will run the following Winter Special Trains to clear the extra rush of passengers.

1. Chennai Central – Rameswaram – Chennai Central Weekly Specials (via. Chennai Egmore, Mayiladuthurai, Thanjavur): T. No. 06009 Chennai Central – Rameswaram Weekly Special will leave Chennai Central at  14.10 hrs. on 17.11.2010 & 24.11.2010 and arrive Rameswaram at 05.20 hrs. the next day.  T.
