As announced in the Railway Budget-2012,South Western Railway has decided to introducerun Air-conditioned Weekly Express between YESVANTPUR-KOCHUVELI-YESVANTPUR(Train Nos. 16561/16562), with effect from 02nd May, 2013, from YESVANTPUR end and from 03d May, 2013 from KOCHUVELI end, as per the following timings and other details :-
Accordingly, Train No. 16561 YESVANTPUR-KOCHUVELI AIR CONDITIONED WEEKLY EXPRESSwill depart atYESVANTPUR stationat 15-15 hrs. on Thursdays, with effect from02nd May, 2013and arrive at KOCHUVELI station at 06-50 hrs., the next day.
En route, the AC Weekly Express will arrive/depart at Krishnarajapuram at 16-13/16-15 hrs; Salem Jn. at 19-47/19-50 hrs; Erode at 20-50/22-55 hrs;Tiruppur at 21-38/21-40 hrs; Coimbatore at 22-40/22-45 hrs; Palakkad at 00-02/00-05 hrs; Thrissur at 01-07/01-10 hrs; Ernakulam Town at 02-30/02-35 hrs; Kottayam at 03-40/03-45 hrs; Chengannur at 04-19/04-20 hrs; and arrive/depart at Kollam Jn. at 05-20/05-25 hrs.
In the return direction, Train No.16562 KOCHUVELI-YESVANTPUR AIR CONDITIONED WEEKLY EXPRESSwill depart atKOCHUVELI station at12-50 hrs. on Fridays, with effect from 03rd May, 2013 and arrive at YESVANTPUR station at 04-30 hrs., the next day.
En route, theAC Weekly Express will arrive/depart at Kollam Jn. at 13-45/13-50 hrs; Chengannur at 14-49/14-50 hrs; Kottayam at 15-35/15-40 hrs; Ernakulam Town at 17-00/17-05 hrs; Thrissur at 18-17/18-20 hrs; Palakkad at 19-45/19-50 hrs; Coimbatore at 21-10/21-15 hrs; Tiruppur at 21-58/22-00 hrs; Erode at 22-45/22-50 hrs; Salem Jn. at 23-40/23-45 hrs; and arrive/depart at Krishnarajapuram at 03-38/03-40 hrs.
The Air-conditioned Weekly Express will have total 16 Coaches,consisting One First Class AC coach, Four AC 2-tier coaches,Nine AC 3-tier coaches and Two Power/Motor Cars.
