Commencement of 20 Budget announced Train Services
The Minister of Railways, Shri Pawan Kumar Bansal, declared the commencement of twenty Budget announced train services at a press conference here today. These train services include introduction of some new trains, extension of some existing trains and increase in frequency of some existing trains.
The new trains will be flagged off from respective railway stations within next seven to ten days whereas extension and increase in frequency will be introduced with immediate effect as operationally feasible after today i.e. 21.11.2012. Following is the list of the train services:-

THREE WEEKLY SUPER FAST EXPRESS TRAINS
Railways decided to introduce the following three weekly super-fast express trains –
1.Bhubaneswar – Tirupati – Bhubaneswar [Train No. 22871 / 22872]
Train No.22871 will leave Bhubaneswaron Saturdays with effect from 14.07.2012 at 12.00 noon.It will reach Visakhapatnamat 07.00 p.m. leaves at 07.20 p.m. on Saturday, and reaches Tirupati at 08.25 a.m. on Sunday.Train No.22872 will leave Tirupation Sundays with effect from 15.07.2012 at 01.00 p.m, will reach Visakhapatnamon Monday at 02.00 a.m(night), leaves at 02.20 a.m and reaches Bhubaneswar the same day at 10.10 a.m.Enroute this pair stop at Khurda Road, Balugaon, Chatrapur, Brahmapur, Sompeta, Palasa, Srikakulam Road, Vizianagaram, Visakhapatnam, Samalkot, Rajahmundry, Eluru, Vijayawada, ongole, Nellore andGudur.
2.Visakhapatnam – Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (Mumbai) -Visakhapatnam [Train No.22847 / 22848 via Vizianagaram, Rayagada, Raipur, Nagpur].
Train No.22847 will leave Visakhapatnam on Sundays with effect from 15.07.2012 at 08.30 a.m.It will reach LTT–Mumbai on Monday at 01.35 p.m.In the return direction, Train no.22848 will leave LTT-Mumbai on Tuesdays with effect from 17.07.2012 at 12.15 a.m (midnight) and will reach Visakhapatnam on Wednesday at 05.30 a.m. Enroute this pair stop at Vizianagaram, Bobbili, Parvatipuram, Rayagada, Muniguda, Kesinga, Titlagarah, Kantabanji, Khariar Road, Mahasamund, Raipur, Durg, Gondia, Nagpur, Wardha, Badnera, Akola, Bhusawal, Manmad, Nasik Road and Kalyan.

WESTERN RAILWAY INTRODUCES NEW TRAINS FOR BIKANER, DELHI, JODHPUR
For the convenience of passengers, WR will introduce new trains between Bandra (T) – Bikaner, Bandra (T) – Delhi Sarai Rohilla and Valsad-Jodhpur.
·Bandra (T)–Bikaner Weekly Superfast Express (From 17/7/12 Ex Bandra (T))
Train No.22474 Bandra (T) - Bikaner Weekly Superfast Express will leave Bandra (T) at 14.35 hrs on every Tuesday from 17th July, 2012 and reach Bikaner at 12.35 hrs, the next day.Similarly, in return direction Train No. 22473 Bikaner – Bandra (T) Weekly Superfast Express will leave Bikaner at 14.55 hrs on every Monday from 23rd July, 2012 and reach Bandra (T) at 12.45 hrs, the next day.
The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and second class general coaches. The train will halt at Borivali, Valsad, Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Mehesana Jn., Unjha, Sidhpur, Palanpur, Abu Road, Marwar Jn., Pali Marwar, Luni, Jodhpur, Merta Rd., Nagaur and Nokha stations in both directions.
·Bandra (T)-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Weekly Express (From 18/7/12 Ex Bandra (T))
Train No. 19029 Bandra (T)-Delhi Sarai Rohilla Weekly Express will leave Bandra (T) at 12.25 hrs on every Wednesday from 18th July, 2012 to reach Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 13.20 hrs the next day. Similarly, in return direction, Train No. 19030 Delhi Sarai Rohilla -Bandra (T) (Weekly) Express will leave Delhi Sarai Rohilla at 15.50 hrs on every Thursday from 19th July, 2012 and arrive Bandra (T) at 17.10 hrs, the next day. The train will comprise of AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and second class general coaches. The train enroute will stop at Borivali, Vapi, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahemdabad, Sabarmati, Mahesana, Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi Road, Falna, Rani, Ajmer, Kishangarh, Phulera, Ringas, Shri Madhopur, Nim ka Thana, Narnaul, Rewari, Gurgaon and Delhi Cantt stations in both directions.

Train No.19055 Valsad - Jodhpur Weekly Express will leave Valsad at 22.40 hrs on every Tuesday from 24th July, 2012 and reach Jodhpur at 14.45 hrs, the next day. Similarly, in return direction Train No. 19056 Jodhpur - Valsad Weekly Express will leave Jodhpur at 16.30 hrs on every Wednesday from 25th July, 2012 and reach Valsad at 09.25 hrs, the next day. The train will have AC 2-tier, AC 3-tier, Sleeper class and II class general accommodation. The train will halt at Navsari, Surat, Bharuch, Vadodara, Anand, Nadiad, Ahmedabad, Sabarmati, Mahesana Jn., Palanpur, Abu Road, Sirohi Road, Falna Marwar Jn., Pali Marwar and Luni stations in both directions.
The Booking for Train No.22474, 19029 and 19055 will start from 15th July, 2012.
Salient Features of Central Railways New Timetable 2012-12
Central Railway has planned to introduce following Mail Express / Passenger trains during the year 2012-2013. The date of introduction will be notified later. The details are as under:

1. SAINAGAR SHIRDI – PANDHAPUR TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS
Train No. 11001 Sainagar Shirdi – Pandhapur Tri-weekly Express train will leave Sainagar Shirdi at 05.00 hours on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday which will arrive at Pandharpur at 12.15 hours same day.
Train No. 11002 Pandharpur – Sainagar Shirdi Tri-weekly Express train will leave Pandharpur at 13.20 hours on every Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday which will arrive Sainagar Shirdi at 20.30 hours same day.
Composition: one AC-2 Tier, one AC-3 Tier, 7 sleeper class, 6 general second class and 2 general second class cum guards brake vans

Train No. 22848 LTT-Visakhapatnam weekly Super Fast Express will leave LTT at 00.15 hours on every Tuesday (mid-night of Monday/Tuesday) which will arrive at Visakhapatnam at 05.30 hours next day.
Composition: one AC-2 tier, one AC-3 tier, 6 Sleeper class, 6 General second class and 2 General second class cum guards brake vans

Train No. 51438 Miraj – Kurduwadi passenger will leave Miraj daily at 11.50 hours which will arrive at Kurduwadi at 16.25 hours same day.
Composition: 9 General second class and 2 General second class cum guards brake vans
Halt: Will halt at all station enroute.
Increase in frequency:
Central Railway has planned to increase the frequency of following trains during the year 2012-13.
1. 17003/17004 Hyderabad – Shri chhatrapati Sahu Maharaj Terminus (Kolhapur) Express from Bi-weekly to Daily from the date to be notified later.
2.16535 Golgumbaz Express presently running as Triweekly will run daily from Yashvantpur w.e.f 11.7.2012.16536 Golgumbaz Express presently running as Triweekly will run daily from Solapur w.e.f. 12.7.2012.
CHANGE IN DAYS OF SERVICES:
1. 11035/11036 Dadar- Mysore Sharavati Express – Consequent to the extension of Dadar – Yesvantpur Chalukya Express the day of 11035/11036 Dadar – Mysore Sharavati Express will be changed from the date to be notified later.
The details are as under –
Train No. 11035 Dadar – Mysore Sharavati Express will leave Dadar on every Thursday instead of Tuesday. Train No. 11036 Mysore – Dadar Sharavati Express will leave Mysore on every Sunday instead of Thursday.
There will be no change in timing, path and halts of the train.
Extension of Trains:
1. EXTENSION OF 11026/11025 PUNE – MANMAD EXPRESS UPTO BHUSAVAL –
The train No. 11026 leaving Pune extended upto Bhusaval w.e.f. 1.7.2012 and the train No. 11025
extended to leave Bhusaval w.e.f. 2.7.2012. The details are as under – Train No. 11026 will leave
Pune at 11.45 hrs (instead of 12.50 hrs) which will arrive Bhusaval at 22.10 hrs same day. Train No. 11025 will leave Bhusawal at 00.25 hrs and arrive Pune at 12.05 hrs same day. There is no change in the timings from Manmad to Pune.
Halts : With the extension the train has provided halt at Chauk, Mohope, Chikhale, Chalisgaon, Pachora (on experimental basis for the period of six months) and Jalgaon (on permanent basis).
2. EXTENSION OF 11017 / 11018 DADAR – YESVANTPUR CHALUKYA EXPRESS
Train No. 11017 / 11018 Dadar – Yesvantpur Chalukya Express (6 days in a week) will be extended to
Puducherri for 3 days to run as 11005/11006 Dadar – Puducherri Tri-weekly Express and for remaining three days will be extended to Tirunelveli to run as 11021/11022 Dadar – Tirunelvelli Tri-weekly Express from the date to be notified later. The details are as under-
2.1) 11005/11006 DADAR – PUDUCHERRI TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS
Train No. 11005 will leave Dadar on every Sunday, Monday and Saturday at 21.30 hrs and arrive Puducherri at 10.00 hrs on third day. Train No. 11006 will leave Puducherri on every Tuesday, Wednesday and Monday at 17.00 hrs and arrive Dadar at 05.50 hrs on third day.
2.2) 11021/11022 DADAR – TIRUNELVELI TRI-WEEKLY EXPRESS
Train No. 11021 will leave Dadar on every Friday, Tuesday and Wednesday at 21.30 hrs and arrive
Tirunelveli at 12.40 on third day. Train No. 11022 will leave Tirunelveli on every Sunday, Thursday and Friday at 14.00 hrs and arrive Dadar at 05.50 hrs on third day.
Shifting of Terminals :
1. 12167/12168 Dadar – Varanasi Super Fast Express will leave from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus w.e.f. 8.10.2012 and leaving Varanasi w.e.f. 8.10.2012 will arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (instead of Dadar).
2. 11057/11058 Dadar – Amritsar Express will leave from Lokmanya Tilak Terminus w.e.f. 22.10.2012 and leaving Amritsar w.e.f. 20.10.2012 will arrive at Lokmanya Tilak Terminus (instead of Dadar)
3. 12051/12052 Mumbai CST – Madgaon Jan Shatabdi Express will leave from Dadar w.e.f. 1.11.2012 and leaving Madgaon w.e.f. 31.10.2011 will arrive at Dadar (instead of Mumbai CST).
4. 12071/12072 Mumbai CST – Aurangabad Jan Shatabdi Express will leave from Dadar w.e.f. 1.11.2012 and leaving Aurangabad w.e.f. 31.10.2012 will arrive at Dadar (instead of Mumbai CST).

Four Express Trains to be Inaugurated From Secunderabad / Hyderabad on 11th July, 2012
The following four Express trains which were announced in the Railway Budget will be inaugurated on 11th July, 2012 from Secunderabad / Hyderabad.
1)Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam-Secunderabad Tri-Weekly AC Duronto Express:
On its Inaugural run, Train No. 02204 Secunderabad-Vishakhapatnam Tri-weekly AC Duronto Express will depart Secunderabad at 11.30 hrs on 11th July, 2012 (Wednesday) and arrive Vishakhapatnam at 21.30 hrs on the same day.
This train will commence its regular services on 12th July, 2012 from Visakhapatnam,and from Secunderabad on 14th July, 2012. This is a point to point non stop Express and will not stop at intermediate stations.Accordingly, Train No. 22204 Secunderabad-Vishakhapatnam Tri-weekly AC Duronto express will depart Secunderabad at 20.30 hrs on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays and arrive at Vishakhapatnam at 06.05 hrs on the next day. In the return direction, Train no 22203 Tri-weekly AC Duronto express will depart Vishakhapatnam at 22.35 hrs on all Tuesdays,Thursdays and Sundays and arrive Secunderabad at 08.00 hrs on the next day.
This Train will have 15 coaches Viz.,one AC First class, three AC II Tier, nine AC III Tier and two break van cum power car coaches.
2)Hyderabad-Bellampalli-Hyderabad Daily Intercity Express:
On its Inaugural run, Train No.07011 Hyderabad-Bellampalli Intercity Express will depart Hyderabad at 11.30 hrs on 11th July, 2012 and arrive at Bellampally at 16.05 hrs the same day. In the return direction, Train No.07012 Bellampalli-Hyderabad Intercity Express will depart Bellampalli at 16.55 hrs and arrive Hyderabad at 21.50 hrs on the same day.
The regular service of this train will commence from 12th July, 2012 from both the directions. Accordingly, Train No. 17011 Hyderabad–Bellampalli Daily Intercity Express will depart Hyderabad at 05.15 hrs and arrive Bellampalli at 10.00 hrs on the same day.In the return direction Train No.17012 Bellampalli-Hyderabad Intercity Express will depart Bellampalli at 10.30 hrs and arrive Hyderabad at 15.45 hrs on the same day. Enroute this train will stop at Secunderabad, Bhongir, Aler, Jangoan Kazipet, Uppal, Jammikunta, Potkapalli, Odela, Kolanur, Peddampalli, Ramagundam and Manchiryal stations in both the directions.
This train will have 15 Coaches Viz., Ten Chair Car, one AC chair Car,two General second class and two Second Class Luggage Cum Break Van coaches totaling to 15 coaches.
3)Secunderabad-Dharbhanga-Secunderabad Bi weekly Express Train:
On its inaugural run Train No.07007 Secunderabad-Dharbhanga Bi-weekly Express will depart Secunderabad at 11.40 hrs on 11th July, 2012 and arrive Dharbhanga at 01 15 hrs on the second day. On its inaugural run, Train No.07020 Hyderabad-Ajmer Weekly Express will depart Hyderabad at 11.40 hrs on 11th July, 2012 and arrive Ajmer at 23.45 hrs on the second day. In the return direction also, the train will run as a Special Train No.07019 Ajmer-Secunderabad Express and will depart Ajmer on 14th July 2012 at 17.40 hrs. and will arrive Secunderabad at 08.10 hrs. the second day.
This Train will commence its regular service from 14th July, 2012 from Hyderabad and from 17th July 2012 from Ajmer. Accordingly, Train No 17020 will depart Hyderabad at15 00 hrs on Saturdays and will reach Ajmer at 03 05 on Mondays. In the return direction, Train No 17019 Ajmer-Hyderabad Weekly Express depart will depart Ajmer at 17 40 hrs on Tuesdays and reach Hyderabad on Thursday at 08 10 hrs.
Enroute these trains will stop at Secunderabad, Malkajgiri, Medchal, Kamareddy, Nizamabad, Basar, H S Nanded, Parbhani Junction, Jalna, Aurangabad, Manmad junction, Jalogaon, Bhusaval, Burhanpur, Khandwa, Harda, Itarsi, Bhopal, Ujjain, Ratlam, Mandasor, Nimach, Chittaurgarh, Bhilwara and Bijainagar stations.

Introduction of Four New Trains From Hyderabad / Secunderabd Postponed
The introduction of four new Express trains, Viz.,Secunderabad-Visakhapatnam AC Duronto Tri-Weekly Express,Secunderabad-Dharbhanga Bi-weekly Express, Hyderabad-Bellampalli Daily Intercity Express and Hyderabd-Ajmer weekly Express is postponed from the earlier announced date of 6th July, 2012.
The revised date of introduction will be notified in due course. Full refund will be granted upon cancellation to those passengers who have already booked their tickets by these trains. Inconvenience caused to the passengers is regretted.

INTRODUCTION OF NEW SUBURBAN SERVICES IN CHENNAI
Five new EMUs will be introduced in Chennai – Tiruvallur and Chennai – Gummidipundi corridor at a function to be held at Chennai Central at 15.30 hrs. on 18.3.2012. Thiru Saidai V. Duraisamy, Worshipful Mayor of Chennai will flag off the inaugural EMU between Chennai Central – Tiruvallur at the function which will be presided over by Thiru Dayanidhi Maran, Hon’ble M.P. Tmt. Vasanthi Stanley,Thiru T.K. Rangarajan & Thiru N. Balaganga, Hon’ble M.Ps, Thiru K. Nallathambi, M.L.A. and other dignitaries will be present on the occasion.

Western Railway will introduce two new trains i.e. train No. 22209/22210 Mumbai Central-New Delhi Bi-weekly AC Duronto Express and 22451/22452 Bandra(T)-Chandigarh weekly Superfast Express trains.
Train No. 22209/22210 Mumbai Central-New Delhi Bi-weekly AC Duronto Express train
The inaugural run of this train willbe run as train No. 02209 Ex. Mumbai Cental on 18/3/2012 at 12.25 hrs. to reach New Delhi at 10.10 hrs the next day. The regular run of this train will start from 23/3/2012 from Mumbai Cental & from 20/3/2012 from New Delhi. Accordingly, Train No. 22209 Mumbai Central-New Delhi Bi-weekly AC Duronto Express will leave Mumbai Central at 23.15 hrs on every Monday & Friday from 23/3/2012 to reach New Delhi at 16.55 hrs the next day. Ministry of Railways have decided to introduce a AC Tri-weekly Duranto Superfast Express between Pune and Ahmedabad from 11.3.2012. The inaugural special train with number as 01498 will leave Pune at 21.45 hrs on 11.3.2012 and will arrive Ahmedabad at 06.20 hrs next day. Regular service will run as under:

It has been decided to increase the frequency of train no 59025/59026 Surat- Amravati bi-weekly fast passenger train from twice a week to thrice a weekly w.e.f. 16/03/2012. Ex Surat
Accordingly, Train no 59025 Surat-Amravati fast Passenger will now run on every Thursday, Friday & Sunday ex Surat from 16/03/2012. While train no 59026 Amravati-Surat Fast Passenger will now run on every Friday, Saturday and Monday ex Amravati from 17/03/2012.
The booking for the day of increased frequency of 59025 Surat-Amravati Fast Passenger will open from 12/03/2012.
Change in timings of 19151/19152 Palanpur-Gandhidham Express
It has been decided to change the timings of 19151/19152 Palanpur-Gandhidham Express w.e.f 13/03/2012. Accordingly 19151 Palanpur-Gandhidham Express will leave Palanpur at 00.01 hrs daily to reach Gandhidham at 06.00hrs the next day.
Train no 19152 Gandhidham-Palanpur Exp will depart from Gandhidham at 22.00 hrs daily from 13/03/2012 to reach Palanpur at 04.00 hrs the next day. There will be no change in existing halts.
This train will have second class sleeper and general second class coaches.

Railway Minister Announces Introduction of New Trains and Other Services
The Minister of Railways, Shri Dinesh Trivedi today announced introduction of 26 new trains, extension of five existing trains, increase in frequency of two existing trains and introduction of new five sub-urban trains. Most of these new services announced were part of the Railway Budget 2011-12. The trains announced in the Railway Budget 2011-12 are implemented by the end of the financial year i.e. 31st March 2012. With this announcement, 115 out of 132 new trains proposed for introduction during Railway Budget 2011-12 will get introduced, 19 out of 22 increase in frequency of trains proposed in Railway Budget 2011-12 will be effected and all the extension of trains proposed in Railway Budget 2011-12 will get implemented. Efforts are being made to ensure introduction of other remaining services proposed in the Railway Budget 2011-12 by the stipulated date of 31st March, 2012. Today’s announcement include three Duronto, one Shatabdi, one fully AC Express, three Rajyarani Express, nine Mail and Express services, three MEMU services, three DEMU services and five EMU services.
In case of new trains, local public representatives as per laid down protocol will be invited by the concerned Zonal Railway/Divisional Railway for the formal flagging off in next 7 to 10 days.
Extension and increase in frequency of the existing trains will be introduced with immediate effect, as operationally feasible.
